I have only had the lunch sandwiches here which are great. They are of high quality and a decent variety and value. For about $9 you get a sandwich and a side of delicious Greek pasta salad included. There is a good amount of parking and outdoor seating available. Be aware that they only currently sell cold sandwiches.

I’m a South Bay native of 63 years and recently came across Manhattan Bread & Bagel. . . Being of Italian heritage fresh baked bread is an item I truly enjoy. One recent day I was in the area and stopped in to the bakery. So many delicious bread types to choose from. My bagel was fresh and tasty. I also purchased a few loves of bread to take home. I have returned a number of times to pick up fresh baked bread for home. Bravo, Bravo & Bravo!

I love this place! Best bagels around! Great variety of creek cheese(my favorite is cream cheese with chives) Their egg bagels are fresh, delicious, and not processed eggs like McDonald’s and Noah’s bagel. I love the staff there, very sweet and tentative.

I've had a long 5 hours layover at LAX. We stopped by this place as my friend suggested. Front parking, almost to no time on waiting. Healthy, delicious and very very fresh. After couple years on the east coast I was very happy to be back to the real food.

Arrived around 9:45 am, and there was no line. 10 minutes later, it was out the door the entire time we dined in. The cashier could see the "deer in the headlights" look I had and helped with my choice. He saved me about $5 by recommending the bagel 🥯 with egg 🥚 and cheese 🧀 and the option to add your own protein. Excellent choice! My wife was hungrier so she ordered the chicken 🐔 salad 🥗 sandwich 🥪 lunch plate (comes with a side of pasta salad and tomato slices). Both were very good. Open seating inside and outside on the front patio. Free refills on fountain drinks and a single co-ed bathroom. Definitely worked for us. Hope you can find your favorite choice and time the line correctly and...enjoy!!!

The salmon was the best we've had on this one-month road trip around Southern California. What gave this five stars was that the general manager, maybe the owner, was working the register on this busy Sunday. It seemed that he had less than an entire staff today, given the long lines. I saw him run around and do everything, even empty the trash bins as they were filling up. This place was mobbed! Bonus, they do fresh bread every day, see picture, so they are more than a bagel shop.

This place has great bagels, the lox sandwich is delicious, bagel w/cream cheese are just like the ones from NYC. The chocolate chip cookies are awesome, the bran scone is unbelievable.. wish I could order these for delivery to Chicago!

Love the bagels. Imo, the best in Southern California. The staff on 11/2 leave a lot to be desired. The attitude if you ask for something made fresh or not already pre-packaged makes you feel like you’re a bother. We’d go more often if we could be assured our orders were correct & the staff (especially the cashiers) were nicer.

5 stars for the bagels. Best in LA. But 1 star for an odd culture they have of service. Past two times I’ve gone in I’ve ordered a specific bagel in whole wheat and both times I’m handed a bag and only after I’m checking it’s the white version. Both times I’ve mentioned this to them the response is “oh we were out of wheat so that’s why” pretty matter of fact like the standard approach and it’s something I should expect as a customer. No heads up that they changed the order when handing me the back and no apology (I did get an sincere apology after I opted out of the refund since it was going to be a time suck for everyone). This is with two different people (three in fact as the first time one person was helping the other) so not an individual thing. I get you’re busy so you explore shortcuts but this ain’t it. Giving the customer a heads up that something is missing is standard at most places. I think they do this though since they have customers pay when they go get the bagel so it’s a hassle the refund. Not a good process unless you know your fully stocked. Still damn good bagels, just gotta keep an eye out on what you’re getting.

I ordered a bagel w/ cream cheese and salmon (lox) and it took 20 minutes to have ready. There were more store workers than customers waiting and this was still the case. A couple behind me also waited 20 minutes just to have their order incorrect. I cannot recommend this place after the experience I had, which doesn’t appear limited to just me and my issue.

Stale bread items....third time trying this place in the last couple of years...stale bagels and sourdough bread...won't be stopping again...better luck at WF for bread and Noah's bagels are more predictably fresh

Waited almost 25 min today around 10am, only to keep asking if they maybe missed my order. It was not that packed and saw few people after me get their orders. They packaged a bagel and called my name but it was not my order. They also didn’t seem to know how to make the iced latte (why have it on the menu). Later one of them shared they were understaffed but there were 3 of them prepping food and 2 bagging. I ordered 1 onion bagel with cc and an iced latte. I ended up with no latte and a plain bagel. They refunded my money and the one tall young guy was apologetic, but he ended up just standing there. I asked that I still would like the bagel I ordered 25 min ago and the other guy found an onion toasted ready so they handed it to me and I just left. This is feedback for the owners, there has to be a more efficient way to complete orders and serve quickly for a bagel shop vs having your staff be hostage to two machines, the young guy tried to explain but I don’t need to know all that as a customer. Everyone else was just side eyeing, looked annoyed and not saying or doing much, which left a bad taste for wanting to come back again. Cute space outside to sit with pup, the bagel was good but the service is extremely slow and behaviors are not what I expected which prevents me from wanting to return again.

If you like eating in a completely filthy environment then by all means come here. Either the management or the owners don't care about keeping the place tidy and the employees just stand around in the back talking or sit at the tables eating their lunch. The food is also extremely mid. I think they use old baguettes for the sandwiches because they are not warm and have no crunch.

I hate giving bad reviews. I phone ordered a lox (they may call it smoked salmon) sandwich on an egg bagel, no cream cheese, lightly toasted, and normal everything else. I repeated it 3 times. After the nice lady called me back (because she thought I wanted to add egg to my sandwich and “didn’t ask what type of bagel you wanted”) I arrived to get a burnt bagel light on salmon, extra tomatoes, extra capers, extra onions. I’m giving 2 starts as the lady was nice and the fish is good quality. Otherwise my I can’t eat this because the bagel is hard!

I ordered all works bagels this morning. When I arrived home I saw they gave me 2 plain bagels and 2 works bagels. The 2 works bagels had so much cream cheese on them. It looked unappetizing. I won’t be coming back. I hope they hire some good employees soon or they won’t be in business for long.

My order consisted of just a bagel and a creme cheese. There was no line after me, I waited 10 minutes before one of the 5 employees who were crowded in one place asked if I was waiting for something. I said I was waiting for my simple order which apparently no one was going to do until he asked me. Only after that he started cooking and after a minute he gave it to me. All these 10 minutes 5 employees from the cafe were standing in a bunch and chatting. This is my first visit to this bagel cafe and unfortunately I am sick of never coming back here after this experience. Terrible!

Very disappointed in this place. Third time I've stopped at various hours and they are out of bagels, and most bread products. If you choose to be open during both morning and afternoon hours, then you need to be producing and managing enough food product offerings to have available ALL of the hours you are open; not every potential customer can make it in the first few hours after you open.Would not recommended.
