Super casual (order at the bar) pizza joint but the pizza was surprisingly great. Sized enough to share but if you order a pizza per person you'll probably have enough for lunch tomorrow.

The bartenders are so welcoming and so knowledgeable about the beers. Such a fun, warm environment with amazing grilled cheese sandwiches (the goat cheese special is to die for). Can't wait to come back!

Joe, Dan and family are truly wonderful people and care about making your experience one that is easy and enjoyable. Their pizza is amazing- just as good if not better than previous establishment. We recently hosted a private event at AW Wander. Derek and the team at AW Wander were amazing to work with. Communication was excellent, access to the space to set up was generous, planning was easy, and the food was delicious. Our guests kept saying the same thing, "If we lived near here, we would be here all the time!" The honoree for our party asked for good beer and she definitely got that! Many thanks to AW Wander for helping our idea of a party come to fruition.

We were there for a baby shower. This is an excellent venue for a private party . The staff were wonderful and helpful in helping to select a beer according to my likes . The food was absolutely delicious! The wood fired pizza entrees were spectacular. Especially the pepperoni with the honey- spice drizzle! The pesto pizza was equally delightful? My hats off to the staff, management, and owner who made the experience memorable. I will return!

Hot damn! Pizza to die for! I could eat AW Wander pizza for breakfast, second breakfast, elevenzies, lunch, lunchen, dinner, supper, and dessert! Euphoria in every bite, with an extensive and tasty drink menu to wash it down. Atmosphere is top notch, owners really went above and beyond making a unique calm and cool dining experience that also feels elevated and special. Drink menu offers something for literally everybody with so many local and regional drafts. Service, and cleanliness are top notch, never a hiccup. You can tell the staff love doing what they do. AW Wander offers a truly unique, exciting, and extremely tasty dining experience. You can tell that the owners and staff put their heart and soul into the food, using only the best quality ingredients, as well as put a premium on the atmosphere and overall relaxed dining feel.

It was a long drive but well worth the trip. Warm and cozy spot to chill and enjoy some great pizza and beer. Beer/drink list is extensive and would be surprised if you couldn't find something you like. Pizza freshly made to order and so good. Bonus is the staff was great! Five Stars for so many things. The atmosphere was incredible. The vast choices in beverages were astonishing. The kitchen crew and servers were friendly and just had an amazing vibe about them. The food did NOT disappoint. For "Pub/Bar" food, it was fantastic. The only thing that could have given it 5 Star's across the board is the attentiveness of the order staff. Not a horrible blunder but definitely needs some fine tuning in that department. A great place to try.

Since this place became A.W. Wander, it’s been such a pleasant place to go to. The new owners have it down. The ordering is efficient, the service is great, especially their attentiveness to customers. Patrons can feel like they are the top priority there. The beer menu and rink menu is vast so you will be able to find something to enjoy, especially the beers. Very fun to choose from. The wood-fired pizzas are the best. I thought my favorite was the Spicey honey pepperoni or the Margherita, but I don’t think I can ignore the cheese on the New York Style. It’s too good to not rate it my favorite. Enjoy!

AWWander is where my husband took me on our first date (back in their original location) and it’s been a favorite spot ever since! I was recently able to have my baby shower here and it was the best. Derek was amazing to work with and made everything so easy, and all of my guests complimented the food and drink selection… and being pregnant I was so surprised and pleased with their non alcoholic beers! The people that work here are always so friendly and my husband and I are excited to continue coming here for years to come with our family.

We love AW Wander and go almost every single week! My favorite is the Spicy Honey Pepperoni! I’m gluten free and my fiancée is not, and we love both the regular and cauliflower crust pizzas they make! Great beer selection. Highly recommend!

Great selection of beers (not all IPA, which was a welcome start to the night). Staff are friendly and responsive. We ordered from A.W Wander today for my grandma’s 90th birthday - sadly we live on the West Coast and couldn’t travel to be with her- so we wanted to make sure she had a delicious meal for this milestone birthday. The staff were wonderful and accommodated a last minute order change and went the extra mile to add a little birthday 🥳 message to the order. We’ve eaten here previously when we visit and the pizza is so so good.

An incredible selection of the best craft beers that often can’t be found anywhere else locally. The atmosphere is friendly and bartenders (usually the owners) are very knowledgeable and focused on finding you the right beer based on what you like, and how adventurous you are feeling. The grilled cheese sandwiches are unbelievably good, too.

We got four different pizzas, the margarita, garlic, three meat and Peperomia they were all absolutely phenomenal!! Recommend each and every one! Definitely get the hummus as well. The pita was the best I’ve ever had. 1000% recommend!! Get your next dinner here!

AWW is a really cool establishment on a busy street with lots of people-watching opportunities. Their beer selection is great and they have the most delicious, thin-crust pizza ever. All of the employees are very kind and friendly and we love going there.

We had an incredible experience for which Brendan was entirely responsible. We showed up just after opening, got to chat about the incredible tap list, and even got to shoot some milk pours off the LUKR. Good food, great beer, better people.

We ordered a make your own pizza with; garlic oil base, vegan cheese, onions, peppers, fennel, mushrooms, and balsamic glaze. It was to die for! We will absolutely be coming back, it will probably be our regular place from now on. The Aspall Cyder on tap was very good too! Atmosphere is very fun, we enjoyed the oldies Japanese Spiderman on the TV while waiting.

This place has a great selection of craft beers. I believe that there are at least six on tap, and a wide variety available in cans. We usually stop and have a couple of beers and order one of their wood fired pizzas to take home.

My only complaint about this place is that it's always busy when we go but that's also a sign that they're doing something right. Quirky but not fancy. Great for an after work beer and better than average pizza. The staff is friendly.

Love this place, Friday night staple for us. Price can be a little steep but it’s worth it in my opinion. If I had any notes it would be to bring back the prosciutto! (Please, it was so good!). The monthly specialty pizzas also rock.

Stopped in around 3:30 on a Saturday shortly after they opened for the evening. The staff was accommodating as it was our first time there. All of the food(pretzel, Italian salad, and pizza) was delicious and came out quickly. Will definitely return soon!

Best beer bar I have ever been too! The selection is outstanding, the pizza is to die for and the staff is awesome.

Had an overall lovely visit for our first time, attending trivia. Love the setup of ordering at the counter and getting a ticket number. The ticket was lost for our pizza due to printer issues so we ended up waiting a long time for it and a staff member (maybe manager or owner?) personally came over to our table to deeply apologize and offered two free pizzas as apology. The pizza was really, really good once received!

Love to come for a late night beer and pizza! Always so tasty. Love the monthly specials.

I went to A.W. Wander with friends after our weekly Wednesday night bike ride. I'm used to not having any options at the places we pick, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I saw that A.W. Wander had VEGAN options clearly labeled on the menu!! I ordered the Build-Your-Own pizza, and got the PMA Foods Notzerella and Pepperoni plus Roasted Red Peppers as my toppings. It was delicious!! It is a smidge on the pricey side (my single-serve pizza came to $21), but I felt that it was worth it since the ingredients were sources locally and were such high-quality. My friends mentioned how nice it was that I could "finally" share a meal with them after our ride. The staff is very friendly and is knowledgeable about vegan diets and can answer questions with ease. I will definitely be back!!

Pizza was EXCELLENT, we had the sausage pepper and onion as well as a spicy pepperoni. I loved the sauce on the pepperoni pizza, perfectly fresh tomato taste. Atmosphere was really enjoyable too, welcoming and relaxing. 100% recommend to stop in and try it out if you’re anywhere around. I’m up here at the Morrisville college for a few weeks, and normally don’t expect too much from pizza outside of NYC, but this is right on par or honestly better than a lot of places down closer to the city, totally worth it, very delicious! I’m going to come again before heading back home.

Spectacular place. Born and raised in FM Schools K-12 and now a 35 year Florida resident, I came to town with my client for a Movie Event next door at the Manlius Cinema. I'm wondering why someone in Manlius didn't dream up a place like this 42 years ago when I was in high school. The Pizza is insane. As good as any place, anywhere I've been including NYC and Italy. I had some special pizza that had like everything I love..cabbage roasted pork and some kinda cooky, delicious hipster sauce drizzled over it and the first bite was heavenly as was the last. Wood fired, crunchy and savory all at the same time. The staff is and was fantastic the two nights I was there. They are on top of everything and polite (a lost art form). Everyone is happy to be working there and super helpful with picking out the beverage and pizza of your choice. The atmoshphere is just as cool as the name of the business. It's a bustling and super hip joint thats both modern age and old school for us old people with authentic decor true to the year it was built (which I love). It checks every box for a 10 outta 10 establishment. The owners hosted a movie showing last weekend and took care of the movie guests really well so that was just amazing too. Great work Dan and Joe you hit a grand slam. Can't wait to get back there to M town.. Cudos to the Mayor too!

My girlfriend had been here before but I hadn't . Food was outstanding. Staff was absolutely awesome. The one manager noticed I was in a sling and didn't everything he could to make my visit much more comfortable and accommodating . Although that wasn't necessary it was greatly appreciated. People don't care how much you know till they know how much you care . And these people care. Was overall an outstanding experience and we will be back.

If you don’t like all those toppings, I would also suggest the pepperoni. The pizza had an excellent tasty sauce, all the the toppings were spot on, and wood burning taste of the smoke just gave it the extra flavor like it should have. For their drinks they have different kinds of soda and alcoholic beverages. Also during spring and summer you can enjoy your food outside.

Awesome place! Food is so good! Great selection of drinks, so many beers. Pretzels were my favorite, I love a good soft pretzel. The cheese sauce was delicious, but the hot mustard stole the show. Huge explosion of flavor, and has some kick to it. Pizza was delicious too. Can't wait to go back many more times.

This is the place to be … this was my first time and I guarantee it won’t be my last . I like the setup of this place so much , I honestly would never sit inside because the patio area is perfect for a date or just hanging out with your friends . Food : pickle pizza and app the pickle egg 10/10 Drinks 10/10 rose and a cider . Price: 10/10 Speed/service 10/10 I’m now a townee haha and proud to support local business. I will definitely be back .

We went to A.W Wander for an early dinner on Saturday, and it was great! They have a variety of beer to choose from. We started with the pickle flight, which tasted pretty good, then we had the eggplant pizza, which was their April pizza, and it was amazing, and we also had the Cremini and Greens pizza, which was also so tasty! We will definitely come back again!

LOVE this spot, everyone is super friendly, they offer some amazing woods fired pizzas, and often share samples of beers people bring in to share. Highly recommend making a trip out to AWW. We love to get the pickled eggs every time and the Wander bread is a must try, as well as their garlic humus, so so good!

Came here for the first time tonight and we were absolutely BLOWN. AWAY. Not only to they have an amazing beer selection (and I’m not even a beer drinker,) but the food was top notch. Kenzie & Joe (the owner) had amazing recommendations so we trusted them. We ordered the wander bread- amazing. The Root Vegetable Salad - also amazing. The Pepperoni Hot Honey and the Arugula Prosciutto & goat cheese pizza on a cauliflower crust that was LITERALLY so good we thought they gave us the wrong crust. We could hardly tell the difference. If you are gluten free or Keto friendly - you will not be disappointed in the flavor of this crust. Mind Blown. We are in the restaurant business and know the struggles restaurants have been having lately so we always tend to go into places with an open mind and a lot of patience. We tend to have very high standards when it comes to food and service and we cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be returning - It is definitely tucked away in the town of Manlius but if you live close or feel like taking a road trip, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Hats off to the crew here - you have a good thing going and you’re doing everything right! Don’t sleep on this place! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

These guys rock. Always an amazing selection of beer. If you're not from the area be prepared to pay a little bit more for your beverages but definitely worth it (especially if Mortalis is on tap!) Get a grilled cheese sandwiches too. They are large and you can even split one. They are definitely necessary for sampling the maximum amount of beers.

The drafts are on display on a nice sized screen, where you can share which beer you're trying on Untapped. The owners are just regular guys who love beer and know how to pour! Not sure if I like the no waitress thing. Our food did come in a reasonable time and was very good. The atmosphere was a bit tight for room. I would go back again but it would not be my first choice.

Usually the pizza is very good. This time was a long wait for food.(wasn't crowded) And the two pies were pretty burnt. We didn't say anything as my wife eats there more than at home... What they did ask upon the pain and she told him and they went above board giving her a coupon for free pizza next time visiting. The Root salad was and is yummy. We will go back there all the time.

Note to owner: before a brew master tells me thats how you pour- I have drank beer in Germany, Azores, Panama, most states/cities to include Chicago, Boston. Manhattan, LA., San Antonio and Maine to name some. Even the tourist trap bar “ Cheers”. Thats a short pour. As info. It wasn’t personal as a watched others get the same. Went to Seneca down the street. Better IMO. Also this establishment is not a brewery. Just an establishment that serves other peoples brews.

A complete joke of a restaurant. When placing a togo order we first called and asked what the ETA would be for pizza. We were told 15-20 minutes max. Completely reasonable time. So we place our order, double check the time and we’re told it won’t be ready until 9:00pm (we placed the order at 7:00). We expressed to them what we’re were told on the phone previously which was within the same hour too. The manger kindly said he would push our order up to be ready at 8:00pm. We go to the restaurant which is a 25 minute drive to find out that our order was never pushed up and our food still wouldn’t be ready until 9:00pm. It’s 3 simple cheese pizza not rocket science….. Here’s proof of this too. If anyone has doubts for the time. The manger knew what had occurred. The wrote out the time to be at 8 but that didn’t occur. When we went to the bar at 8 and actually spoke to the bartender who was sitting at the bar drinking who said it wouldn’t be ready until 9. For the owner to reply to this review so defensively and blaming the customer for this is comedic. He’s not correct about my response either I looked directly at the manger and said those words calmly and left. No one else in the bar even heard what I said bc everyone was still having a good time and was unbothered. The fact that again the owner is pointing fingers at the customer is shameful. Oh and if the owner is more concerned about proving the customer is wrong in their truthful experience and can’t handle a review that show things that need major improvement for customer online ordering experience, then you shouldn’t be in business. This is not the first time this has been our experience. We were ignorant enough to give it another chance. Never again.

Nice atmosphere but it’s not worth waiting over an hour for pizza. Seems that takeout is priority. This is a problem with a lot of pizza places where the priority is on takeout and not the people in store. I don’t get it.

Salads are awful. Service is slow. Portions are small, prices are high, and the seating is just hard benches which hurt.

The food is wonderful. I have ordered take out and was happy. The chairs are not made for a size 16 person with hips. The National average of a person assigned female at birth is a size 16. This place needs to do better or get more inclusive seating. I was offered a stool with no back. :-/
