I went to this pizzeria tonight for the first time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was casual, clean, and tidy. I had the "Vecchia Fontana" pizza, but with a white crust. I must say I was impressed: thin crust, just the way I like it, fresh ingredients, and a delicate flavor. Truly excellent, and I'm quite picky about pizza. I didn't try the desserts; unfortunately, I'm on a diet and have already cheated on pizza, but I'll be back.

We went there for a business lunch. What can I say? Excellent place! Very good food, the manager and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. The only flaw was the coffee; according to expert roasters, the coffee was under-grammed at 4.5g, when a good restaurant coffee requires a gram of 6.5 to 8.5g, having taken care of the evening maintenance and cleaning of the coffee machine.

Friendly staff who were helpful to us who don't speak English. We had fantastic pizzas which were served quickly. If we are in the area again we will come back!

El Plumaje

Average business lunch for choice and price (the side dish is not a buffet, like in other places...). Just a small hitch with the second course of undercooked fish (the central part of the fillet was still raw), immediately resolved by the restaurant staff, in a very friendly way. I thought I'd give it a second chance to try the pizza and the "Gran Fritto del Capitano". Eventually I'll update the review accordingly.

Welcoming place, friendly and polite staff, and a superb pizza chef. We ordered three pizzas and three beers for a total of €32, or €14 each. I particularly liked the pizza dough, and the ingredients were delicious; it was very soft, thin, and light. I ordered my usual calzone with mozzarella and mushrooms, without sauce, and afterward, I didn't feel heavy at all, so it was also easy to digest. I gave it four stars only because I'm used to not having to pay for changing an ingredient in my area. In conclusion, I would recommend this place 100%!

Scelto perché a due passi da dove alloggiamo. Misero menù "lavoro" con paste enttambe scotte e carpaccio di tacchino proveniente da qualche supermercato. Contorni discreti, vino sfuso bevibile, serv…

Buon locale senza pretese ma molto accogliente. La cucina è ottima!

It's a shame to own a wood-fired oven and make such mediocre pizzas; at home in the summer, I make real Neapolitan pizzas. The charcuterie platter was good.

The place is quite smelly, but there are no other fair places around where to have dinner. The food was good, the ppl quite kind. The only problem we had was with the one dish of tagliatelle porcini which were made with any other mushrooms but porcini. We’ve claimed for porcini but they had insisted that it was porcini. And we’ve been charge for it even if we didn’t eaten them. Plus 2,5 eur carta tax per person. The grilled vitelino was very good. The wine recommendation was acceptable but not impressive. Passable .

C'era della pizza su quel bruciato. La pizza era molto bruciata, crosta bassa. La focaccia dura e bruciata. Una ordinazione era sbagliata, pizza errata. Patatine fritte molli. Decisamente delusi.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I feel compelled to share it to prevent other customers from experiencing the same disappointment. I ordered fried fish, but what arrived was so soaked in oil that it looked like it had just come out of a malfunctioning fryer. The fish was so greasy that every bite was unpleasant and difficult to swallow. Although I tried to eat a little out of politeness, I eventually had to stop because it was truly inedible. I pointed this out to the staff, hoping for a gesture of professionalism, but the response was unacceptable: they told me that "this is normal" and that "no one has ever sent a dish back." Really? Is heavy, oily fried food considered normal? The icing on the cake came when I got the bill: they charged me half the price of the dish, claiming I had eaten only part of it. Are you kidding me?! If a customer can't finish their dish because it's poorly prepared, the least you can do is offer a solution (a discount, another dish, or at least an apology!), not demand they pay anyway. Never seen anything like it? Poor service, low-quality food, and a complete lack of customer service. Truly disappointed.
