California Chicken Café is my go-to every time I’m in the mood for something fast, fresh, and genuinely satisfying. I swung by for lunch and ordered the half rotisserie chicken with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and the Chinese chicken salad, and everything hit the mark. The chicken was perfectly cooked—moist, flavorful, and seasoned just right—and the salad was massive, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The portions here are generous without being heavy, and you walk away feeling full but not weighed down. The vibe is always upbeat, the staff are efficient and friendly, and everything moves smoothly even when there’s a line. It’s the kind of place you start craving as soon as someone mentions it, and it never disappoints. Consistently great food, fast service, and clean, bright space—what more could you ask for in a casual lunch spot?

I ordered the mini chicken salad pasta it was so good . Was moist and was not over cooked.or under cooked . Nice place but no seats have to order at a window and they only take cards no cash just an fyi.. that is all i ordered but will definately go back again tk try another delicious selection.

They are so good here.. the food is awesome and always fresh but the service is 10/10. I eat here 2-3 times a week and I've never had to wait more then 90 seconds when picking up my order. Every employee here is on it... and they're also really friendly when you pull up. CCC you are loved and appreciated 🥹

The Chinese Chicken Salad was absolutely delicious and the Roasted Potatoes were packed with flavor. Beyond the amazing cuisine, what truly made our visit unforgettable were two exceptional team members: Pedro and Alvin. Their warm, attentive service and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. They went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect! We will definitely be back!

I make a pick up order so I don't know what the atmosphere is like but the food and service for pick up all really good. Highly recommend. I got a whole chicken and used it throughout the week for lunch and dinner. I also get their bottled dressings and salad and make wraps for lunches. I love their mashed potatoes and gravy. I also like the vegetable soup, very flavorful. Not a fan of the sweet mashed potato it was a bit watery.

I love their food, it's always fresh and their serviceis great. Looks very clean. However my complaint is the menu is now everything is a-la-cart, no more meals, which increases the price!

The food is always great. I gave the atmosphere just one star because you can't eat at/in the restaurant anymore. We don't live close to any of their locations so it is really disappointing to go there and then have to drive 30-45 minutes back to our house. If we could eat at the restaurant , we would go more often.

Not good customer service. This was my first time here, we placed our order at the window and told the employee that we were parked in bay 7. My partner went to verify and found that we were actually in bay 4. I told the guy our correct location. He responded we’ll find you. We paid for our order, included a 20% tip and went back to our car. Approximately 25 minutes later we realized we hadn’t gotten our food brought to our car. I then went to the window with my receipt, telling a different guy that we’ve been waiting in our car for over 25 minutes for our food. He told me that our food was ready. It had been sitting there the whole time. It’s particularly upsetting because this happened on the day of the fire. We wanted to get our food and get off the streets. Needless to say our food was lukewarm warm. The food was good, we may try another location.

Absolutely ridiculous experience at Cali Chicken. I pulled in just to park and pick up an order, and the staff immediately told me drivers are not allowed to park there and that we have to go park somewhere else. Seriously? How do you expect delivery drivers to pick up orders if they can’t even park for a minute? This is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Delivery drivers are the ones bringing you business and customers, yet you treat us like we’re not welcome. If you don’t want drivers parking there, maybe stop accepting delivery orders. Terrible attitude and zero respect for drivers. Definitely not coming back.

Wraps are not good anymore. Barely any chicken. Pretty sure there was no avocado either. I'm so sick of having to double check orders everywhere I go. The Melrose wrap was basically a lettuce salad in a pita. Not worth it anymore. And the fact that everywhere has dine in now except here is ridiculous. Your saving so much on not being open that you should at least make a decent wrap with chicken in it. For God sake your name has the word chicken in it.
