One of the best selections of bourbon this side of the 405. Our server was Julia and she went above and beyond making us feel welcomed from start to finish. I’d suggest the short rib plate. It was cooked to perfection.

I came for the views and stayed for the food. The restaurant is on the marina, with a view of anchored boats. Serene. The menu is eclectic and has something for different tastes. There were fish tacos, sushi, seafood, and bites of comfort foods. There is space indoors as well as a spacious terrace. The food was delicious.

Excellent food & excellent service. We are outside to have a spectacular view of the bay & enjoyed our time. The outdoor heaters kept us warm in March. Highly recommend the lobster roll- Connecticut style. The cookie dessert was delicious as well, the ice cream was especially tasty.

Brizo Bar and Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both modern and comfortable. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between casual and upscale, making it great for both a night out with friends or a more intimate dinner. The menu is fantastic—creative yet approachable—with a wide variety of options that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish I tried was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The cocktails are another highlight: expertly crafted, refreshing, and unique. The bar staff clearly know what they’re doing, and their recommendations were spot-on. Service was outstanding. The team is attentive, friendly, and genuinely seems to care about making sure guests have a great experience. I never felt rushed, but everything arrived in perfect timing. Whether you’re stopping by for drinks, a full meal, or even just appetizers with friends, Brizo delivers on all fronts. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

I live very close by in Marina del Rey, so cannot speak to staying in the hotel, but can say that our dining experience at Brizo was honestly really great. We had amazing views of the water and the anchorage, great service, and very tasty food. It’s located inside the Residence Inn right on the water in Marina del Rey. The Anchorage for the boat is directly behind it so you have wonderful views of that. Inside is extremely large with a very big bar in the southwest corner. They have indoor tables as well as outdoor, but the selling point are the outdoor tables which is where we sat. You can sit against the edge and have unobstructed views of the water. As mentioned our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Parking is provided by the hotel although we were able to walk to dinner. They have a very large menu that has a lot of great options on it. We started off with the Shrimp Ceviche and thought it was fantastic. It was especially packed with lime flavor, which I love, and we just both really enjoyed it overall. Next I ordered the Connecticut Style Lobster Roll, which is basically a lobster roll warmed up. Maine Style is cold and Connecticut Style is warm. This was also really good and it was probably my favorite part of the meal. Lastly we ordered the House Made Cake Donut, which was a great end to the meal. It had a strawberry glaze on top, was gooey, and just had great flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area or to anyone staying at the hotel especially.

Food and service was great, but the five stars are for the gorgeous view to the Marina, also the easy access to have the water bus for $1 going to differents stops around the Marina del Rey. Valet parking $12 with restaurant validation.

I recently had a work layover for the first time at the Courtyard Marriott Marina Del Rey and I had a great experience at Brizo Bar from the moment I sat at the bar. The Happy Hour menu is great with many options for food and wine. The staff is welcoming and ver knowledgeable of their products and a great marina view inviting to relax and enjoy your time at this restaurant. I am coming back next week for sure.

Brizo Bar & Restaurant is one of the most beautiful spots in Marina del Rey. The view is absolutely stunning, easily one of the best in town. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you’re on a little vacation, whether you’re dining indoors or out on the patio. The food never disappoints. I go there regularly, and some of my favorites are the tacos, lobster roll, Brussels sprout appetizer, and short rib.. they’re all amazing. The quality and flavors are consistently great, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. The service is another highlight. The staff is always friendly and fast, and I have to give a special shoutout to Jen. She’s usually my server and always does a fantastic job. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food, great service, and unbeatable views!

Edit: Thurs 6/5/2025–I came back for the lobster roll and I brought friends who fell in love with the food and hotel! Big SHOUT OUT to NATE! If ever in the area COME HERE!!! My server NATE made the table feel like we were old friends! He was attentive, was personable and just a delight! Of course I came back for the lobster roll and brought friends. The ambiance is relaxing and peaceful especially after a long day’s work. Sit by the water and watch the people jog, walk dogs, and get on their boats. I just LOVE this restaurant and hotel! Original post about a month ago: The food AMAZING! The service EXCELLENT! The ambiance RELAXING! This place sits inside the Courtyard Marina del Ray. With the Marina as its backyard, the sight is peaceful and just relaxing especially after a long day’s work. If ever in the area, please stop in!

Great marina views from patio. Lobster had good amount of meat. Fattoush salad was nice with the strawberries and mild dressing. Rock shrimp sweet chili sauce good pairing. Parking seems like a pain with validation + additional $12, so I parked nearby instead.

Service and food were TOP TIER✨ The nachos had really good flavor and the lead bartender Jorge give us great recommendations. This is an amazing place to relax and enjoy a couple drinks with an appetizer or get an excellent quality full meal. I love bourbon and the bartender made me an old fashioned with their own exclusive private barrel of buffalo trace which gave the drink a unique taste. Definitely worth every penny✨

I was staying in the hotel and had a $20 credit and $30 credit for two drinks from the bar. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with how good the shrimp tacos were. They had a little kick to them but not too spicy. The drinks were a house drink which I didn’t really like it reminded me of white claw. My niece and my sister loved their breakfast sandwiches. It was the impeccable service for me. They accommodated my large party and we had a beautiful view of the pier. The ambiance and great weather made it absolutely memorable and I will definitely go there again.

The tacos were great. I had the fried shrimp and my husband had rockfish. You cannot beat the views. We got served very quickly. Was not expensive. Hotel looked killer.

I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. The food and service was beyond my expectation. The staff is welcoming, attentive and friendly. The prices were moderate and vibes were cozy, perfect for a satisfying dinning experience.

Hostess was really nice and was attentive as soon you walk up to greet and welcome. Accommodated in best availability for a walk up. Server was helpful when present and was attentive during order process. Shrimp Ceviche was very salty and acidic. I was not able to eat it after the first taste. Clam Chowdah was the best in my opinion out of my meals. I did not however enjoy the salty pork chunks that were in there. Nonetheless, the flavor of everything else complemented each other and being that it was server hot, helped the flavor. Maine Lobster Roll was decent. Lobster itself was good. The bun was too sweet and greasy with a hint of saltiness was not appealing. Salad on the side also was inedible. Flavor for the dish: 4. Overall experience in my opinion is a solid 5. Scenic view and presentation is included in the experience rating.

I had 2 tacos (shrimp and rockfish) and the cabbage slaw on top was so old it was browning and absolutely tasteless. I also had a Sunset Smash cocktail (made allegedly with passion fruit syrup) which again - tasted of nothing. One of the other people in my party had the burger which they also described as tasteless (recognize a pattern here?). Their margarita though was good though. I don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

Nice place and beautiful patio. Their food is good, but drinks are not that special, I ordered gin and tonic, and it had a lemon in it,. even I can make it way better than this in home . Also, our server could get what that means when I asked about double 🤔 🙄 so I explained, "I mean double shot of Gin on my drink" 😂 in total if you're around there or living close it's good place to hangout with your friends, beautiful but nothing special

Everyone in our party enjoyed their cocktails. Amazing desert which we shared because we all ate so much. Our waiter made a great suggestion on dessert. Excellent Service as expected and our waiter was knowledgeable on the menu items, although he should have recommended more tortillas for our ceviche. There were five of us and we got 4 tortillas. Great ambiance as well on a sunny day given you have a view of the Marina which complements the entire experience. There are also great indoor seating since the restaurant is part of the Marriott brand. We will definitely revisit Brizo when in the Santa Monica.

Decent food and drinks, great location. Terrible, rude service. Live nearby in the marina and came with a friend to get drinks. We sat at a small table on the outdoor patio facing the Marina and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before anyone helped us. Mind you, it was 3pm or so on a Sunday and there were only a handful of other parties there. We finally order our drinks, everything is great. Some manager lady comes over 5 minutes later with an attitude to let us know that unless we order food, we'll have to leave the table within 30 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable to treat your patrons that way, especially when the place isn't busy. Ironically ended up having to wait another 20 minutes for the check on top of it. We were planning to have more drinks but safe to say we will not be giving another dollar to this establishment with the rude interaction with the lady who works there. Whoever runs this place needs to get their staff in check.
