Opinions de Lucky Noodles Marina
The best pho in Marina! I will always recommend this place to anyone who asks me where they can eat some good pho in Marina!
My pho was great! Real chicken! Service is awesome! Seating is very nice. The price is very good. Good food beautiful people.
The food here was phenomenal had one of the Pho large bowls and had to take half of it home. Not a very large place but also can pickup there. Didn't try anything else but everything I saw and smelled coming out of the kitchen made me want to order it even though I was full.
In my opinion this is the best Pho on the peninsula ( it’s all about the broth!). There are 15 different Pho dishes, including a vegetarian option. The summer spring rolls are delicious and there is a wide range of noodle and rice dishes as well. They don’t rush you out, even when they are busy. It’s in a very old shopping center/ strip mall and you might not stop here unless someone told you about it. Well I am telling you, you should make a point to stop in for a meal.
A simple, no frills place to get some of the very best pho around. Service is fast and they know what they're doing. Their pho broth is full of flavor and lots of choices of what you like in your bowl. This is one of our go-to's when you need that warm comforting bowl of pho.
The food is very good. The broth was clear and tasty. tai(raw beef) and nam(flank) were also good. Shrimp fresh rolls were good too, made freshly. Overall, very solid, authentic Viet food. Located in strip mall and clean but basic seating. Prices are in line with other options nearby.
Amazing prices and great food! We ordered the large Pho Dac Biet and fresh shrimp spring rolls and both were delicious. The Pho was flavorful and came in a gigantic bowl. The shrimp rolls were fresh and had a warm peanut dipping sauce. Highly recommend stopping here for a quick lunch or dinner.
Cute family owned place, Demolished my #14 before i remembered to take a pic lol. Grilled pork was 10/10 and a good ratio of noodles to vegetables. will stop by again next time in monterey
Lucky’ combination with rice is excellent. Delicious sticky rice, egg, pork chop and chicken. Love the way they do their fish sauce. Affordable price, friendly service. The place is clean.
Great Vietnamese food in the area. I went there 2 times in 2 days we were there in Monterey, 15’ away from the place. Noodle and rice are best. Owners are very friendly. I’ll eat again every times I go there!
Visited this restaurant while in town for the Monterey Jazz Festival. The food is simply excellent!! We ordered the Shrimp Pho, Vermicelli Shrimp/Pork & Eggroll plate and fresh spring rolls. Everything was delicious!
I used to go to another noodle bar but their quality has become less and less while they kept raising their prices. This place is sort of a hidden secret that keeps getting better and better. The amount of food they give you, and the freshness of the food is amazing. I always order to go and making the order is very easy with friendly faces to greet you. I am never disappointed with the food that I receive and it is worth every penny. I get the combo pho and And I'm quite impressed with how they pack the food to go not mixing the rare beef with the other food letting me add that at the very end to keep it rare. I recommend this place and our family is happy to make this our favorite pho.
Best Poké I’ve had in a while! Absolutely devoured it
i ate here last night - Halloween 2025 !!! it was SO VERY GOOD! i had the shrimp spring rolls & pho ga- chicken pho the pho was the best i have had in my life! the chicken breast is my favorite - and theirs had a flavorful broth & the right amount of chicken / rice noodles / broth topped w thai basil - it was simply scrumptious! the spring rolls were also delicious!!! and came w a homemade peanut sauce the place is CLEAN - and they sanitize after every customer plus use hand sanitizer before touching anything & handing it to you! (utensils / napkins, etc…) i read the reviews and decided on this place because of the great reviews! i’m so glad i went - planning another visit ASAP!!! you should too!!!
Delicious food at reasonable price. Got the fried noodles with chicken (very filling), and partner got the beef with onions (probably even more delicious.) Was crowded on Sunday afternoon, so I won't ding too much off service. Overall good experience 👍
Came in with the fellas where they all ordered Pho rare steak and seafood, I got the stir fried noodles with chicken and shrimp. Also the shrimp rolls and deep fried tofu was a hit!
This place is the truth! Staff is super friendly and super fast! We just moved here yesterday and have already eaten at Pho Lucky...twice :) if you don’t know what to get, the number 15, Grilled Pork over Small Vermicelli is the hotness. Sorry, no pics - I’ve already inhaled it by the time I remember to take a photo...both times. ***update*** Third time here, just as good and just as fast!! Finally some pictures:
Took our niece for some pho and egg rolls. No thrills quiet restaurant. Food was good. Service was so so. They don’t really check in on you. The food was great so there wasn’t really a need for them to circle around. Would have been nice to get a refill on my water though. I got the rare steak pho, my niece got the rare steak and meatball, my husband got the Mì Xào Thập Cẩm (combination stir fried egg noodles) overall food was good. The ratings were good so we wanted to check it out.
Cozy Pho shop serving up a delicious, simple, no-frills menu. Solid pho, vermicelli and rice dishes are also tasty. The fried tofu is a must-try.
I had their spicy beef and pork Pho and absolutely loved it. The avocado smoothie went well with it, though a little less sugar would have made it ideal!

Loved this place! Went two times while I was on a trip in Monterey. There was no wait, and the pho was super flavorful. The place was quiet and lowkey with great pho and fast staff.

This is our go to spot for pho! Portions are great, food is good and service has gotten better over the years as they’ve hired new servers to take care of the customers. Once I started going to pho lucky years back, this is the only pho spot I go to now. I normally get pho, combo fried rice, and spring rolls 🫶🏼
Best Pho in Monterey! The food is so delicious. I loved their fried tofu, spring rolls, and vegetarian pho. Love coming here regularly and the staff are so kind
The best food and customer service! Healthy on the go meals that taste great. Quick take-out is a plus here
Love love love! ❤️ This place is an absolute gem. The Pho is wholesome, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions are incredibly generous, and honestly, for the price, it feels like a steal. Easily one of my go-to spots when I want something satisfying and comforting.
One of the best if not the best, Vietnamese soup in Monterey County! The broth is clear, not blurry.
🌟 5-Star Food Review: Pho Lucky Noodle House 📍 266 Reservation Rd, Ste R, Marina, CA 93933 If you’re in Marina and looking for a spot that delivers flavor, comfort, and great service—Pho Lucky Noodle House is it. Every bite I had was fresh, well-prepared, and full of authentic taste. Shrimp Spring Roll These rolls were light, refreshing, and packed with perfectly cooked shrimp, crisp vegetables, and fresh herbs. The rice paper had the right texture and the dipping sauce was just the right mix of sweet and tangy. Small “Wong Tongue” Soup with Noodles The broth was rich and warming, and the noodles had a perfect texture—soft with a little bounce. The meat in the soup was tender and flavorful. It’s the kind of bowl that feels good from the first sip to the last. Pork Chop with White Rice The pork chop was grilled just right—juicy on the inside with a great sear on the outside. The white rice was soft and fluffy, a perfect base to soak up the pork’s juices. A simple dish done with care. Why I Gave It 5 Stars ✔ Fresh, flavorful food ✔ Friendly, fast service ✔ Clean and comfortable dining space ✔ Great value and generous portions Pho Lucky Noodle House at 266 Reservation Rd, Ste R, Marina, CA 93933 is now one of my go-to places in Monterey County. I’ll definitely be back!
The food here is great! We love their tendon soup and always get extra tendon. Shrimp with vermicelli noodles is also delicious. We order from here every couple of weeks and the food and service are always consistently good. It is a smaller place so sometimes you might need to wait for a table during peak hours but always worth it.

I have been to Lucky Pho twice now. The food is EXCELLENT. Flavorful Pho and perfect noodle consistency. The spring rolls are firm, well-wrapped, do not fall apart, and come with a nice WARM (not common, but a nice surprise) peanut sauce. The reason for 4/5 is because both times, the service was friendly and attentive, but the food seemed to take a while to arrive, especially the spring rolls. That said, the quality and flavor more than make up for the atypically (for a pho joint) slow arrival time. 5/5 for the food, 4/5 for service (based on speed).
Price is decent. Good portions. Lots of food choices for a small pho place. No ratings on service - we got served and that's where service ends. Luckily, our water didn't run out. Out of towners here and we were satisfied.
Food was good except you get the food first instead of the appetizers and I've gone twice where they give me a normal straw instead of Boba straw
Would come again for the pho. Not the chicken pho because the chicken was really tough and chewy. Chicken with dry noodle was fine. Veggie spring roll was a veggie egg roll inside. Fried tofu was not what we thought it was. It wasn’t terrible but not what we were looking for. Plenty of parking available.
Unassuming Vietnamese restaurant. Overall the food is good, but not mind blowing. The soup of the pho (which I use to judge) is a bit too watery or bland. The noodles aren't special either. It is a good bowl, just nothing screaming. The overall feeling of the food is "family style". It reminds you a lot of how mothers might cook and feed their child, rather than a commerical venture. Spring rolls and egg rolls are great. The grilled pork was tender and juicy as well. Don't come here looking for bespoke Vietnamese food. Do come here for a good hearty meal.

So I'm visiting from out of town. I went there got some pho I waited and upon waiting I noticed that three different individuals that came in after me was actually service before me and so I went up to the front asked the lady where my food was she goes and looks and gives it to the people like it was just one person who literally just walked in so her food she had came to pick up her food was ready on upon pickup and I waited for to come and tell me when it'll be done she didn't come to me I have to go and ask her where my food was again and then before I can finish the sentence she cussed me on says it's almost done. Finally the food came out the guy was friendly but he was like bodyguarding me as I was picking up the condiments as if I was going to cause a stir or something and I can't help but think it was cuz I was black. like it was weird so I was very uncomfortable so the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and then when I went home it wasn't the fact that they were cooking the food is the fact that they forgot about it or didn't care because my food was pretty cold it wasn't it was like a lukewarm and so I just feel like I come in first place I go spend 30 bucks on top of that do a tip and then you treat me like that that's just not fair it's not okay y'all got to do better.
Horrible service. Took 10 minutes to take my order when the server was just sitting on the chairs. Ordered a large pho with spring rolls Server didn't check in at all or do any refills for water. Completely forgot about my spring rolls. Brought a small instead of a large. The pho was average and nothing special. The broth was bland compared to the other 2 places within a 2 min drive. I tried all 3 of them and this one is the worst in terms of the pho and service. Their other food might be legit but this place is not good if you are going for the pho.
Awesome pho. Favorite in the area. Edit: Last couple times my wife and I have been in we've received lackluster service. The food is good and we are regulars but the bare minimum in service has to be achieved before we come in again. Smiling is allowed.
I liked my pho but I've had better ones. The broth didn't have much flavor and the noodles got kind of soggy. The egg rolls where really good though and I've tried their shrimp fried rice and that's really good too
Very mediocre place and food. We were visiting and are from Sacramento, where Vietnamese food flourishes. The food felt like it was missing something. We ordered beef ball pho, vermicelli, fried rice, and chicken wings. The only good dish was the fried rice. We seated ourselves, menu is under a glass on the table, servers will serve you when you look ready.
We went for our anniversary dinner. My husband loved his dish, I found the food to be very mediocre and lacking in flavor. Server lacked any sort of personality and never checked on us.

This place charges 45% extra on the pho prices for “extra protein” and gives you maybe one or two slices of extra brisket, and their calamari appetizer is NOT fresh. The food just wasn’t great, and the owner doesn’t seem to be apologetic at all when confronted with all these problems. It is what it is… do NOT recommend.
Service is absolutely horrible for the most part. Walk in, sit down for 2 mins, and already ask if you’re ready to order. Relax, it’s our first time here. Then the lady waiting us has an attitude like we’re bothering here by ordering food at their establishment. We order some Pho and water… the water is legit water from the sink, you can taste it. Not even the worst part, you’re serving us sink water… at least fill up the cup not 3/4 as if it costs you so much. The Pho was whatever nothing special. And don’t you dare ask for extra lime, they’ll make it seem as if each lime costs them $20. Only positive about this place is the young gentleman who charged me after. I hope the tip went to him and not the sorry waiter we had. Definitely wont be coming back whenever I’m in Monterey, surprised this place is still in business.
Food was bland. Worst Vietnamese food in 100 mile radius. Kid waiter was rude when he got the order wrong. Asked in a rude tone "What's wrong with it?" I answered that I specifically asked for extra cha, which is the pork sausage. My order had no cha in it. He simply scoffed "I don't know what that is." The lady had to bring out the corrected order afterward and he ignored us for the rest of our time there. Never got served water either until I asked the register. Waste of money and time.
I've eaten here quite a few times. This time things were a bit off. My pho noodles were not quite cooked all the way. The fried calamari smelled like rotten fish. It made my head snap back as it was brought to the table. The smell didn't go away and was definitely coming from the fried calamari. Salted dried fish has a strong smell, but that's normal. I've never had fried calamari smell so bad. I asked the waitress to take it away. I was hoping not to have any debate regarding the smell. I've had fried calamari that was way over cooked that had the texture of rubber bands, but it didn't smell bad. A few hours later I got sick. But I didn't even touch the fried calamari. The partially cooked noodles should have been the red flag. I'm not taking that risk again.
I went there because it's name says it is a place to get Pho. I went there twice and got a traditional Pho with tendon and tripe and meat. I wouldn't go there again . The tendon was inedible. Under cooked and unchewable. Yes it was cut into neat squares just not cooked enough to be chewed. The second time I complained to a server and their response was "well we cook it a long time" .Not the response I'd expect from someone who cared .I'm sure had they wanted to they could have found that it was not cooked enough. So I can't say what their other dishes taste like but I won't be back. The broth that came with the Pho was thin and weak. If the first name of a restaurant is Pho then that should be your best dish. Sorry I can't recommend their Pho.
