We went here after a day in Yosemite and loved the chill vibe, fantastic live music and great cocktails. Salad was very fresh and the soy chicken sandwich outstanding. Highly recommend going

No music the night we went but the atmosphere was lovely, the bartender was friendly, and the food was incredibly good. I had the Korean pulled pork sandwich and my friends had burgers. We shared a salad with apricots and Gorgonzola that was to die for.

We stayed in Mariposa for 4 days while visiting Yosemite and ended up eating here 3 of those days. It was such a relaxing way to end a rigorous day of hiking and exploring. We ended up trying the burgers, chicken sand-which, peanut butter and jelly, fries and salad. It was all delicious. The PB&J was really lacking in PB but that is my only complaint. It was all delish. Staff was friendly each time & the place was clean. My boyfriend made a comment on our last night that he wanted to fly back to the west coast just for the burgers 😂 also the homemade ketchup is killer.

In Mariposa, it doesn’t get much better than The Grove House ! The community members who run this place represent what Mariposa is all about - good vibes!! It represents the heart of of this special little mountain town where you can meet your friends; bring your kids; take your family; have some craft beers, then have some more, and see amazing live music all at the same time. i highly recommend to all tourists. It’s the best staple in small town Mariposa a especially now that they have moved to a bigger location and serve food. We have had dinner on multiple occasions and tried the whole menu more than once, but it’s always changing so that keeps us coming back, and now we love their new brunch! The most magical part is they’ve brought live music - comparable to being @ Pioneertown in Joshua Tree vibes, can’t wait to see what’s in store for e Grove House and all it brings to Mariposa as we enjoy good music beer food and company under the stars!!

Normally I find that restaurants in touristy places like this are not that great. But the food was surprisingly good here! we got the bean and cheese burrito, sweet potato tostadas, fried chicken sandwich, and sweet plantains. I loved everything. sweet plantains were the highlight but everything just hit the spot perfectly

Attended a live music show here last weekend. Staff are very friendly, place is very cool, and the food was really good. They do some creative things with the menu and the food, I would definitely look forward to coming back.

We were just visiting. The food and drinks were great. Kid friendly but maybe in the earlier hours. Dog friendly. Got the summer salad, burger and grilled cheese.

During our 3 weeks road trip through 4 states The Grove House was the place with best food and atmosphere. We went there two days in a row and had different orders each time - everything we had tasted delicious! What a perfect spot to have a drink, listen to music, eat, have a chat, relax and just.... Enjoy!

Burgers and chicken sandwich were very good. They come from a little food truck in the back of the beirgarden style outdoors seating. Very deep drink selection, including nonalcoholic.

Good so delicious I ate their twice on my trip back home (I’m from Mariposa but I live in Chicago which is a food destination and I think The Grove House is one of the best places to dine in Mariposa right now). You never know this spot used yo be a muffler shop. Follow them on IG for the latest menu since they source there food locally and serve farm-to-table fresh. Let ‘em know a local sent you!

The Grove House nailed it on every front. Consistenly tasty food (their Slider Burger is my favorite), family friendly (and, just plain friendly) atmosphere, great cocktails (the BEST margarita, and I'm quite a margarita snob), and music events all year long. I don't even know what we did before they came along.

A shiny gem in an old mining town. The drink selection is superb and varied, the food is delectable, and the talent of the musicians they pull is unbelievable for Mariposa. I wish there was a Grove House in every small town -- not in a chain restaurant sort of way, but in a solid, affordable, friendly, delicious, unique venue sort of way. I come back here every time I visit, and each visit makes me want to come back even more frequently. The Grove House just has a certain gravity to it.

What an incredible venue, right in the heart of Mariposa. The food and beer menu was really fantastic. We were thrilled to catch Arlo McKinley play a show here. Hats off to the owner Nate. He was so welcoming and he really does an excellent job with the music lineups at his venue. We can't wait to get back up to Yosemite and catch another show! If you are visiting the area, you can't miss checking out The Grove House.

Highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and the deco was quite unique. Popular during peak hours. Our food was super delicious! The tea was tasty as well. We had two of the items on the menu and decided to order the other two to-go for the next day’s lunch. The menu seems to be changing.

We loved this joint. Must be the best food and vibes in Mariposa. Great selection of local craft beers. Good quality food with sensible portions. Live music on Fridays. The super friendly staff made us feel really welcome. Go here.

Went with a friend of mine. He told me he hadn’t had a drink in over 40 years!! There was a live band playing. I’m talking very hearty, good for ya soul, music. As for the food, I went out back to their food truck. I ordered a burger and some fries. I would love to go back in the near future. Definitely.

Our experience at The Grove House was one of the best! From the amazing food, outdoor atmosphere, and exceptional service, we were very pleased. If you're looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere, this is the restaurant for you! The burgers were some of the best we've ever had. I need to know what's in the mayonnaise, it was so good! The bartender was very kind and knew just what to make when I wasn't sure what to get my significant other. This is the place to check out when you're passing through Mariposa!

Had an amazing time at the Afroman concert last year. The drinks were fire and the atmosphere was vibing. The food was ok but wish there was more flavor. Definitely a hangout spot for locals and tourists. A great place to seat and eat if you have a 5+ party.

The burger was good didn’t taste fatty or greasy. The fries and tarot tots were seasoned well. This place would be great for large groups and gatherings.

This is not so much a restaurant as a bar with a (permanent) food truck. And while the food was good, the service was extremely slow. We came in at 8:40pm on a weekday with two hungry 9 year-olds tired from a long drive. Though it didn't seem particularly busy or crowded, the line to order food stretched from the bar to the door, because you have to order from the bartender who makes all the drinks on the spot. We were disappointed to find that on an already very limited menu, half the mains were sold out, including all the vegetarian options. The food we did order (a burger, 2 salads, and some sides) took 50 mins to come up, by which time the place was almost empty (it closes at 9), and we had some very tired, cranky kids. But at least it was good. As far as ambiance goes, the patio area is pleasantly lit and is probably fairly upbeat on the weekends, especially when there's live music. But all we were treated to was the constant yapping of a dog someone brought in. Suggest they play some music, only allow well-behaved dogs, and provide a play area for the kids.

I wanted to like this place, nice music and patio. But a cold, soggy, congealed burger after waiting almost an hour and paying $20 + tax + tip for self service is frustrating and frankly unacceptable

Only saving grace is the music and ambience. Food is very sub par. Charging $21 for a cold burger that took 48 mins to arrive. Burnt beans on the tostada that was $17. Go for beers and music.

I have a severe gluten allergy so I ordered a gluten free meal. I asked twice if it was really gluten free and they assured me it was. Right after dinner I got a gluten attack so it definitely wasn't gluten free! People who don't know the basics about allergies should NOT work in a restaurant. Big disappointment!
