Today 1:30 pm waiteress (sasha r) served me well could not ask for more made me feel very welcome as if i was in Italy....she was fast on her feet and always looking to see if i needed something not only for me but also the rest of the customers around me...ive never changed a review but today i had to becuase the service that was given was splendid...i was taken care of by the individual that read my review...not knowing if indeed anyone would read it...sasha r came personally and asked how was my food...very courteous and professional...thats why im giving it 5 stars...keep up the good work...and u will be always number 1 in my book

Went during lunch hour. Experience was good. Had a little wait longer than I expected it should have been. But I did get a waitress finally to order. I only wanted their eggplant only. The manager granted it. I also surprisingly git bread sticks. The food was delicious I'd go back again.

First time at this particular place. We've always gone to the one by the Expressway. We decided to give it a try for lunch. It was kind of busy. However, we got seated quickly by the bar area. Our server was quick to come by our table & take our drink order. We decided to order the Cheese Sticks as an appetizer. It was delicious. For the meal, we decided to order the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken & (2) Lasagna Classico, the house salad, a Chicken Gnocchi soup, and the Zuppa Toscana. Everything arrived promptly and was nice and hot. Portions were the right size and full of flavor. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us the whole time we were there.

I recently visited this location and was glad to be greeted with friendly staff and good food. I went during rush hour dinner time and I had the most amazing server! I believe her name was Arely and she was so attentive and so sweet. I left satisfied and with smile thanks to her. Overall great experience :)

Server Drew was so kind! The Food was hot and delicious. Had the Seafood Alfredo with Angel Hair instead of Fettuccine. Shrimp & scallops were so tender and hot. Cooked to perfection. The Chicken Alfredo excellent, with juicy, tender grilled chicken and creamy alfredo. We were seated quickly (as most waiting had large parties)! Fun night out.

Celebrating my 50th year in the work force. I ordered Chicken Masala and the Shrimp Appetizer. The food was delicious, excellent customer service. My servers was Mindy and she was so kind. I highly recommend Olive Garden N. 10th. 10 Stars for you Mindy!

The food was very good and the service was great. My wife had the lasagna and said it was good but would prefer the tomatoes be pureed vs in chunks. I had the Shrimp Fritto Miso appetizer as my meal and really enjoyed it.

This place is always a winner. It never disappoints! 💜 The chicken and gnocchi soup is my absolute favorite. I do miss the portobello ravioli, but there are many other amazing dishes to choose from. I have always had great service at this location, whether it be dine in, take out, or curbside. You can't go wrong with Olive Garden!

The wait time is a little too long on the weekends, I’d make a reservation or go during the week unless you want to wait more than an hour for a table, but the food is great, staff is always so kind, and the portions are nice!

I had lunch with my daughter, but the AC was not working in the restaurant and it was too hot to even eat lunch in the restaurant we had to take our food to go. I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed our lunch instead of being rushed out from sweating and being uncomfortable. We will go to the other location next time for sure.

I wanted to try the new entrees that are available for only a limited time, but I don't have that big of an appetite. I decided to order the giant parmesan chicken with fettuccine alfredo. I ate what a normal size portion would be. I would have wanted more pasta, but oh well. Next time I will try the stuffed shells with shrimp.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but today’s visit deserves one. I went in with my little boy, and due to a small miscommunication, we ended up cutting our visit short. Normally, an experience like that would make this either a very bad review—or our first and last visit. However, that wasn’t the case. Jasmin, the manager, came over to speak with us and treated us better than we have ever been treated at any establishment. Even though we didn’t get to stay for our full meal, she did everything she could to turn the situation around. She made sure we left with smiles on our faces and, most importantly, made us feel heard, understood, and genuinely welcome to return. To be honest, if we hadn’t interacted with her, this likely would have been our first and last visit. Because of her professionalism, kindness, and understanding, if we’re ever in the area again, we will absolutely be back. Thank you, Jasmin, for turning our day around.

Update: 8/15/25 - celebration of a special occasion during lunch was great. The consistent excellent service and food was greatly appreciated. The appetizer shrimp fritto misto was fantastic, full of flavor with both sauces. We also had drinks, red vine and strawberry limoncello margarita, I highly recommend. We finished with an Italian strawberry cheesecake. 1/25 - A great place to eat pasta and more when you want to splurge. I try to go during lunch, for their lunch menu which is reasonably priced. The service was excellent! And the food was fantastic! The appetizer was delicious! Salad as always was evenly distributed with the dressing and great with their bread. The eggplant Parmesan was great along with the spaghetti that had a chunky sauce. The ziti bake was very cheesy and plentiful.

I've always loved the Italian villa look of the building. The food is okay. I often find it too heavy. The desserts are good. The chianti classico is a nice complement to the marinara. The amaretto sour was delicious, very fragrant almost like nutmeg. The service was pretty good considering how crazy busy they were tonight. I'd forgotten that this is the end of the semester with graduations and vacations.

I really enjoyed Olive Garden. I would recommending getting the tour of Italy. The lasagna was great and the alfredo pasta was good also but the chicken parm was over salted so not as great. Would’ve put 3 and a half stars, but it doen’t allow me to give half stars. 3 and a half because the food is tasty, and fresh, and overall looks and feels healthy, but these guys put too much salt and waaay too much spices in the plates it serves. The bread is tasty, but it’s too oily and somewhat chewy, I know for a fact that most people eating in a mediterranean-ish restaurant would prefer a more dry and less gross-salted bread. The spaghetti sauce had too much spices (I had the spaghetti with the meatballs), and the pasta istelf was poor on salt (that’s an irony of a sort that I found). The salad was so nice as it was salty. I had a soup that was really good, but you could feel too much pepper and the white beans were a little too hard (just a tiny bit that I’d have liked). That being said, I know that Ove Garden’s is a chain (I think) and not a authentic mediterranean restaurant or cocina, and the food was good overall. So I choose 3,5 stars, but as I can only put 3 or 4, I choose 3 because really you can make it much better (just don’t add too much salt).

It sadness to say we did not enjoy that supposed to be my daughter birthday the service was ok but we had to reach the waitress every time we needed something the food was cold and the music was loud dont go on a Saturday afternoon we still saved the waiter he's tip but will never go again was very disappointed.

Update 05/18 I returned to Olive Garden to give them another chance on the Chicken Marsala. I'm sorry to say that it was worse than the first time. It's basically a thin chicken with salty brown mushroom gravy. Absolutely no marsala wine sauce. They just need to take it off the menu. I returned it and got the shrimp pasta which was excellent. _____________________________ I've been to Olive Garden several times, so this review is over the course of these visits and different orders. Olive Garden specializes in pasta, soup, and salad. When I order any of these dishes, it is well made, delicious, and good portion. Anything else I ordered was sub-par. Example - The chicken marsala was basically processed chicken with sauce poured on top. It was edible, but rubbery and not very good. My mom ordered the same thing and had the same opinion. The wait staff is usually good, although sometimes there is the forgetful one that never brings what you asked for. So, if you're looking for good pasta, salad, and great soup - this is your place. If you want anything else, you are taking your chances. Staff is friendly.

Our server took about 15 minutes to get to us and once we ordered we didn’t receive our food until maybe another 15-20 minutes. We spent more time waiting than eating. Usually me and my Gf are very happy with the food and service but this time was very bad. We had gotten the unlimited pasta bowl and she added on shrimp which was on the menu and the waiter came back a few minutes later saying they didn’t have any so she switched to grilled chicken again it was on the menu. the food and staff were great. the bread sticks…are AMAZING. Reason for my 2 stars was because of the drinks. We found little cockroaches in my wife’s drink. Worst part was that it was her second drink! the bar tender quickly removed the drink and ensured we would not be charged for that’s second drink. He started looking through all the bottles and took multiple bottle to the back. I assume he found more cockroaches. We didn’t ask for manager but she did come to us to offer her apologies. guess bar tender alerted the manager. What a first experience at this restaurant. Also the AC was not working. :(

Extremely Disappointed with Our Experience Our recent visit to Olive Garden was incredibly frustrating and disappointing for our family. We were told that our table was ready via text message, so we got our children out of the car—no small task for any parent—only to be told once we arrived at the entrance that the message was sent by mistake and we’d need to wait another 15 minutes. Trying to be understanding, we returned to our vehicle to wait. Not long after, we received another text stating that we had been removed from the waitlist entirely. At that point, we had no choice but to leave. The whole experience was disorganized and inconsiderate, especially given the fact that we had young children with us. We understand that mistakes can happen, but this level of miscommunication and lack of customer care made what should have been a simple dinner out into a stressful ordeal. We expected better and will be reconsidering future visits.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was a hair in my salad and my pasta was still uncooked. I took a bite out of my pasta and it crunched. Everything else was fine. I had never had issues with Olive Garden and I'm hoping I never will.

Olive Garden isn’t what it used to be, the shrimp scampi I ordered was bland no taste smothered in tomatoes, not like it use to be the breadsticks very oily from the butter. Over priced for frozen looking food. Won’t be going there again.

After 45 minutes ( I prefer you tell me the truth as to how long I have to wait) I inquired for an update and was given some lame excuse that another group got in front of us due to a computer system BS. Ordered Herb grilled salmon. There were no herbs, while salmon did not look attractive, the flavor was good. We were a group of 11 (celebrating a b-day), wait staff forgot about us towards the end. I had to ask for water and desert plates three times. By the way, you need to invest in a larger wait area. 7/10/24. Four of us tried Olive Garden again. Three ordered soup and salad, I ordered shrimp scampi and salad. The salads were brought out followed by soups. Everyone finished their soups and salads, finally the shrimp scampi was delivered so I basically had dinner alone. The server seemed to be new, he kept forgetting to bring us straws, refills after we requested them several times, brought receipt without a pen etc...

Take it of leave it. For the price I wish the food was better. The calamari was greasy smelled fishy. Ordered the the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs lacked flavor. Didn't taste fresh.

First, let me say our server was great. Thank you Marco! I gave service 3 stars because it took management 10 minutes or more to get us a server. We consider going to Olive Garden a treat, but today was disappointing. I asked for soup. My bowl had a dry rim way above the little serving in my bowl. Breadsticks were barely warm and very toasted. Our entree came faster than the time it took to get a server. Food also barely warm and the size of this Tour of Italy looked like I had put together Stouffers frozen meals. Sorry Olive Garden, but it's true. Will not be back for a long while and definitely not this location. My previous 2 visits were in Weslaco. It was a very different and better experience there.🤷‍♀️

I was sadly disappointed as the food quality was not up to the Olive Garden standard. I hope it was because it was an 8pm dinner and it was busy. The food tasted and appeared like it came straight from a microwave. The service however, was great. I hope management ensures high level of food so that the waitstaff doesn't lose out on tips due to things out of their control.

Prices have simply gone out of control and the service does not match it at all. The little blonde waitress "Ash" barely served us, and barely paid any attention to us. First, for 2 people, it was 50 bucks. This was because of $4 dollar fountain drinks (which she only refilled ONE time). We ordered endless pasta which is another $15 each and our waitress refilled us with the tiniest portion imaginable. She also would only refill our breadsticks by 1 or 2. We tried to get some to go, but again, she gives us a pack of 3 breadsticks. And then of course, they expect us to tip, which I should have never given. For the ridiculous price of eating out, this is absurd. It has got to the point where I genuinely feel scammed for the amount of money they want us to pay. This location is not worth it for how much Olive Garden is nickel and diming you. Maybe it's our waitress, but we are done with this place. We will try another location next time.

visited the Olive Garden in North McAllen about an hour ago. I ordered the shrimp and chicken carbonara, but upon eating, I found hair embedded in the noodles. We asked to speak to the manager and reported the incident. He did not apologize, but offered to bring another plate. After this experience, I lost my appetite. He stated he would return, but did not. The waitress also returned without offering an apology or expressing regret. The overall customer service was extremely poor. The hostesses seemed to be staring at us, making us feel at fault. I felt extremely embarrassed and disgusted.

When my family and I arrived there we noticed the typical wait stretching outside the restaurant, I was glad to make a reservation.I mentioned I have a reservation the hostess said “ we’ve have canceled your reservation but we can put you back in the list. It gonna take about 15 min.” This makes no sense since that why we reserved a reservation. It in the name. Why cancel it. Hope this place goes out of business. We made our way to a local pasta place instead. Thank you Olive Garden for supporting local restaurants. We had the best service and food at that other place. Thank you again for reminding us that we should not go to Olive Garden and start support local.

Very upsetting I checked in online waited for the text that my table was ready and I get down and the host canceled my table to make me wait 15mins instead. The manager Ian did nothing to help the situation very upsetting we are regulars here we never been treated this way before. Going to cheddars where the staff is nice and friendly.

Last night, I sent back a cold, limp order of calamari that never should have been served to me. It seemed like a to go order that no one picked up and then served it to me. They took it walked it around the restaurant and brought it back. Whatever. We used a gift card. We NEVER come here. Servers had attitude. Food is just Sysco bullshit.

Poor experience at this Olive Garden. First had to wait long until someone took our order. Then when the food finally arrived there was a long black hair on a plate. No one ever came to ask for refills. Very poor service.

Terrible experience, we ordered our own drinks on table pad because no one came to greet us then the server finally showed up and took our order only to come back and say she hadn’t put in our appetizer. Waited over an hour and heard all the excuses of why it was taking long while all the tables around us received their appetizers and entrees. An hour later received our food and it has hair in it. The manager came over to give a pathetic apology trying to down play how long we waited and the hair in our food. Offered a gift card as if we ever want to go back there again. Terrible service with nothing but half ass apologies.

Came here for my birthday today, served me raw chicken and I was throwing up in there restroom. Some other lady came out (very very rude & unprofessional) to take away the food and talk to us (come to find out she was not a manager ) no sorry no nothing. Mind you I had my whole family with me and my pregnant wife. So hopefully no one else gets sick. Terrible business practice & customer service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location. I’ll also be leaving reviews on other platforms until the GM calls me himself.
