We were there for the Euro 2024 finals and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Good selection of ales and beers. Tried fish and chips. Chips were like wedges but crispy. Would be good to replace the old projector screen with an LCD.

I had such a great time there today, celebrating St. Patrick's day! The food was very delicious and although they were swamped with customers, the wait staff was wonderful and served us faster than I would have expected! Then, as an unexpected pleasure, a band came in the front door playing bagpipes and drums and they walked all around the restaurant. They were fantastic! So happy we chose to go there!

Took a minute to get sat, but after that the service and food were excellent! The server was happy to explain the menu, offer suggestions, and was very attentive despite a busy evening on a Friday night. The food was the hottest food I have had in a very long time. We order mostly fried, and it was so hot we could not immediately eat it. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone that likes comfort food

Living in a time where ordering-in has become a new norm, we (as a fam) gave Delaney’s a shot this past week and were all so thoroughly pleased that we ended up doing a few additional orders within that same week. What hooked me was the Reuben which has been (hands down), THE BEST I’ve had in the past few YEARS. The waffle fries pair beautifully with it but another pleasant surprise was their lighter squash/zucchini/veggie alternative side! Pretzel sliders are another new favorite for me while the girls love the wings in all their varieties and flavors. Finally, and another pleasant surprise, is the dessert offerings. You had me at the bread pudding but I fell further in love with the strawberry shortcake! LOTS of variety available here (which is great for families as everyone can find something they like), quality is always spot-on, and the portions are very fair for the price point. Recommended, a new local favorite for us, oh and bonus points for the adult beverage options!!

I have lived in McKinney for over a year and I accidentally came across Delaney's. Boy am I glad I did. I would say Delaney's is in the Top 5 restaurants in the City. Its definitely the Top Sports Bar in the city. When I say everything was good, I'm not overreacting. Perfectly seasoned, extra large portions and totally top notch service. The night we went, it was a Cowboy game on, the place was packed. I only mention it because you would think with it being backed, the service or food would have been compromised. Not at all. I love this place, and I'm definitely going back.

We love this place... Sometimes it seems like the staff has an issue with serving the poll hall side but we don't mind waiting...food and drinks are good. Love the pool tables. The only thing I'd have to say is staff know there is no soap in the women's restroom. I watched wait staff and kitchen staff go in there and nobody was able to wash their hands properly. There's a store next door...please get a $1 hand pump soap so your staff can handle food safely.

Food was tasty our table had a variety of things and they all came out hot and at one time. There was only one server on at 1 in the afternoon and she held her own.

Visiting the area with family who live here. A great sports bar / restaurant if that's what you're looking for. Personally I'd prefer a quieter atmosphere. Service was good and friendly. The food was good. I was actually able to get a non sweet Italian salad dressing after tasting a couple. I've never understood why American salad dressings are nearly always sweet. We got the red house wine which was quite good although slightly on the sweet side.

Enjoyed a nice family dinner here. The cod, from my fish sans chips, were huge. Fish was cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. My mom ordered their soup of the day, dill pickle. She was not a huge fan, but I thought it was delicious. Our server, Bella, was quick, kind, and friendly. She took the soup off our tab since my mom didn't enjoy it. They also have a large beer and cocktail menu. Definitely recommend as a nice easy spot for dinner.

Husband and I had dinner & drinks. Haven’t been here in years. Jordan was our server and was super friendly! Drinks were good. Food came out in a timely manner. Only downfall is my corned beef and cabbage plate was less than lukewarm. After a few bites I asked for a box. I was able to heat it up at home. Food was tasty and there are vast menu options. Giving 4 stars as I won’t send food back so they didn’t have the option to fix the issue. Plus, when Jordan heard my food was cold she wished I would have let her know to fix the problem. It happens, we’ll be back.

Delaney's is a great place to grab a drink at the bar or enjoy some delicious food. They have a really good selection of liquors at the bar and a great draft beer selection. They also have a really good menu with a lot of great options. I enjoyed the Gyro sandwich that they had when I stopped in for lunch. The sandwich had a lot of meat and was really good especially for the price. The only complaint I had was the service was really slow. It didn't look very busy to me and it took a really long time to get our drinks, food, and server to come by with the check. I'm hoping they were just short staffed yesterday but it didn't seem busy to me at all. I will be back to try it out again very soon because the food was really good.

Trivia nights are fun and the pub has a good atmosphere. Unfortunately there aren’t many vegan food options (an impossible burger), which limits the experience for some guests. Hope to see more inclusive menu options in the future without changes needing to be made to the dish.

We've ordered here for years. I fear we'll have to part ways. It used to be great, but has been declining the last few times. Too many mistakes and now very small side dishes. Apparently they thought that plain broccoli would go better with a Rueben sandwich instead of the coleslaw I ordered. It would've most likely been about 4Tbs. worth like my husband's sides anyway. What happened to this place?

Had our hopes up. A sports bar serving C&W music and dozens of screens. Had hoped for something a little more authentic, but not. Texas and the McKinney growth area pushed that aside. They did have Guiness!
