Il Ristorante Lago è il ristorante del Grand Hotel Victoria di Menaggio. L'ambiente è molto curato e raffinato, come tutto l'hotel. Il bouquet sulla tavola è di garofani giganti freschi, meravigliosi. Il personale è molto gentile, attento e cordiale, fa di tutto per mettere a suo agio il cliente. Ho ordinato una pizza Margherita e una insalata mista. Il ristorante si avvale delle mani d'oro del pizzaiolo Nello, napoletano verace. La pizza Margherita era semplicemente fantastica. La pasta ottenuta da grani selezionati viene tirata e stesa da Nello con un suo procedimento personale che garantisce sofficità e una perfetta alveolatura. Una pizza di tipo napoletano,ma con il cornicio gonfio ma cavo all'interno, soffice e perfettamente cotto estermamente e internamente. Il condimento è costituito da un sugo ottenuto esclusivamente da pomodori datterini, ottima mozzarella di Bufala e piccole foglie di basilico fresco. Provare per credere! Insalata di misticanza condita sul momento, accompagnata da pane ai 5 cereali, focaccia all'olio e una spianata croccante. Tutto prodotto da Nello. Il burro, griffato come l'hotel, è prodotto artigianalmente da latte locale. Un gentile amouche bouche è stato offerto come antipasto. Dolci spettacolari, preparati dalla Pastry chef. I prezzi sono elevati, come giusto che sia, per l'ambiente e per la qualità dei prodotti.

Domenica pranzo in famiglia,bellissima struttura molto ben curata .a partire dell'accoglienza, al servizio ,al personale ,ai piatti di vivande ottimi nel gusto e ben presentati . Abbiamo potuto visitare la spa , nella quale non manca proprio nulla . Esempio di eccellenza i Italiana .

the food was very delicious even though the price was a bit expensive but it was worth it. Me snd my family ordered 2 starters, 2 pastas, and 2 mains. To start off, the raw red prawn was very flavourful with some caviar on top. The pasta was equally good, the gnocchi had a great flavour as it was also served with some muscles. The linguine was also very good as it had a great texture and the technique the chefs used to cook it was amazing. Lastly, the two mains we ordered were the catch of the day fish (sea bream) and tomahawk steak. The sea bream was clearly very fresh and it was very simply delicious as it was coated with salt and pepper and olive oil. As for the steak, the texture was just top of the hill, it had a strong beefy flavour yet it wasn’t overpowering. We also ordered some dessert, the cheese and the tiramisu. For the cheese, we picked parmesan,blue cheese, formagi and more. It was very flavourful and filled with cheese flavour. For the tiramisu, the texture was pure delicious, even though i’m not such a coffee fan, the coffee wasn’t as strong and had a great balance to it. Overall, the dinner was amazing.

Had a lovely dinner with my partner here. The was live music playing. Service was definitely the highlight of the night. For food, we ordered 2 first courses and 1 main (lamb). Presentation was nice. The lamb was cooked well. For dessert, we ordered the fig cheesecake which was not to my taste but my partner liked it. Overall we paid around 260 euros incl 2 drinks which is on the pricier side. Can't complain too much as we had a lovely time. Only feedback is we were faced towards the lake, however as it was dinner we were just staring at the darkness and the reflection of ourselves and the other guests. I would rather be facing my partner. Also the guest besides us had 2 dogs- which didn't bother us but a strange look for a fine dining establishment

Anoche disfrutamos de una experiencia gastronómica impecable en el Ristorante Lago, dentro del Grand Hotel Victoria Concept & Spa (Viale Benedetto Castelli 9/13, Menaggio). Cenamos literalmente en el jardín, en primera línea disfrutando del lago. Un marco de postal que ya empieza a enamorar antes del primer bocado. Qué pedimos —y repetiríamos sin dudar: • Tartare di tonno e avocado • Risotto “Riserva San Massimo” mantecato all’aglio orsino, pepite di scampo, mandorla e limone fermentato • Conchiglioni ripieni alle melanzane affumicate, ricotta di bufala e ’Nduja calabrese Cada plato llegó a la mesa con una presentación cuidada y sabores perfectamente equilibrados. El risotto, cremoso y con un toque cítrico, fue quizá el protagonista de la noche; la pasta rellena, con esa caricia ahumada de la berenjena y el toque picante de la ’Nduja, nos hizo sonreír de puro placer. El servicio estuvo a la altura: cercano, profesional y atento a los detalles sin resultar intrusivo. Sumadle una carta de vinos bien seleccionada, pequeños guiños como el amuse-bouche de bienvenida y los petit-fours de despedida, y obtendréis el combo perfecto para una velada memorable. Si buscáis una cena especial en el corazón del Lago de Como, reservad sin dudar. Nosotros ya estamos deseando volver.

We stopped at this restaurant because we tend to lunch when all the restaurants close, which is around 4 pm. This place is beautiful and the food was incredible. My husband had a Greek salad ( extremely fresh and soooo good) and the lasagna, and I had a pasta vongole and my toddler, a pasta penne al burro ( even that was incredible).

Amazing food and views, Ristorante Lago located inside Grand Hotel Victoria is the best service I have ever received at a restaurant. Extra thank you for the free tasty appetizers and desserts. We will be back!

We had just an amazing time. The food was spectacular. The wine service was great from beginning to end. And we were made to feel welcome as honored guests. Thank you all so much for a lovely evening for all of us.

Fantastic food and service. Stayed at the hotel and dinned for breakfast 3 times and dinner once. Outstanding wine list, scrumptious food, service attentive and kind. Worth the price.
