walked in to be greeted with a smile from the manager. I recognized him from the Murrieta location, we'll deserved promotion. Burger was perfectly cooked, fries were crisp and perfectly salted. Personally my favorite burger place. If you're a first timer, I would suggest "Santa Barbara" style.
I tried their fish sandwich and my brother had the bacon cheeseburger and too say the least they were on par with other delicious burger chains. What makes them different is the toppings, albiet almost like 5 guys.
Good burgers. Steak sandwich, definitely was better at the original in norwalk. Chain is not as good.
On a Friday night around 9 PM the place was not crowded at all. Our first venture to The Habit Burger Grill after noticing a certain public respect for their food lineup. Signed up for the app and placed our official first order for pick up at curbside, which perhaps by the fact that it was somewhat deserted, was a smooth and prompt process. Very nice Jennifer made it even a little nicer. Food ordered: Charburger w cheese, $5.29. These burgers are supposedly their staple, where they get to shine do to the quality. Nice that a customize option is available, but we opted for their standard. Decent, not taste boggling. 3.5 Stars. Double Char w cheese, $6.59. This one I had to handle being more of their bigger choice. Again, easy to consume with plenty of food. Not an exceptional tasting double, but solid and somewhat fairly priced. 3.5 Stars. Grilled Chicken w seeded bun, $7.39. Supposedly marinated grilled chicken with grilled onions. Decent again easily finished. 3.5 Stars. Ahi Tuna Filet, $8.89. With lettuce wrap option, wonderful lady seemed to enjoy it very much. 4 Stars. French fries, $2.79. Salty but which fast food doesn't go heavy on the salt? Not kings of the hill fries. 3.5 Stars. 2 Tempura Green Beans, $6.78. This one, out of the norm, fully appreciated addition to their menu. Not found in most burger joints, and yes, one for the rotation. 4.5 Stars. Regular drink Green Tea, $2.29. Where Green Teas are concerned this offering fell way short of the mark. Watery not a distinguished offering. 2.5 Stars. Tenderloin Steak Sandwich, $8.89. Where tender is concerned, perhaps not, but with grilled onions and a seeded bun, was a welcome change of pace, lettuce and an appetizing flavor. Yes I wish next time I can double on the meat for extra moola I'm sure, but overall nice. 4 Stars. Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, $3.99. Perhaps slightly oily but a very appetizing inclusion. Creative choice. 4.5 Stars. Total $51.30 so not so cheap, but overall leaves the door open. 4 Stars
I really love the burgers and sweet potatoes fries, but the AC is the worstttttt We don’t like to go only because is freezing
Ate there today with my family. Ordered a burger combo & asked if I could substitute the fries for onion rings. Alex who was attending me said of course. So when I get my receipt I look at it & I was charged 4.99 for the onion rings 🤔 I asked her why the charge and she said “you wanted onion rings instead of fries.” She never informed me that there is an extra charge to substitute. Instead she argued back and forth with me. Horrible customer service on her behalf. Just beware of those extra charges. Never again! I’ll stick to In-N-Out where customer service is valued!
I’m honestly shocked at how careless and misleading the service was. I specifically asked if the mushroom burger was vegetarian and was clearly told that it was. As someone who avoids meat, I trusted that information and ordered it. Only after taking a bite did I realize it was actually a beef patty burger. This is not a small mistake. Misrepresenting what’s in someone’s food is a serious issue. People avoid certain foods for dietary, ethical, religious, or health reasons, and being told something is vegetarian when it absolutely is not shows a complete lack of attention and responsibility. If the staff doesn’t know what’s in the food they’re serving, that’s a training problem. If they do know and simply don’t care, that’s even worse. Either way, it completely breaks trust with customers. At a minimum, menu items and staff communication need to be accurate. I won’t be ordering here again. Customers deserve to know what they’re actually being served.
I came in at 8:30pm 1/5/26 and the female cashier was extremely off putting. She made us feel like we had inconvenienced her by simply being customers. The terrible service wasn’t the worst part though, it was the food. The food was actually disgusting. My fiancé’s burger was so extremely small and thin that you would have thought it was a kids meal at McDonald’s. The price they charge for the lack of service and terrible food is appalling. We will never be back here again, we regret wasting our money here.
I did like the chicken salad but the lady manager in charge was not to professional about customer service. She's nasty she don't know how to deal with a customer when we ask for like something extra she feels is he stuff and not the company .. to bad is a good place to eat
I called there about a half hour before they closed. Since their app wouldn’t let me choose a time to pick-up my order before they closed, email it said my order would be ready about 10 minutes before they closed. So an employee told me they could scan my app QR code to get me the same special I couldn’t place in the app. But when I got there, the woman at the cash register said my special wasn’t good with a combo meal, even though the app already took it. And she said if I canceled the app order and tried to re-order it there the special wouldn’t work. So I told her I will eat next-door at Rubio’s coastal Grill and never go to their location again! And they store managers or owners never reply to any of their negative reviews. They always tell you to contact the corporate office on their website. Since they don’t want to reply to any problems themselves. That’s another reason I’ll never to go to any Habit again, even though I liked their Burgers the few times I ate them at other locations in other cities.
I’ve always liked The Habit Burger & Grill for a quick bite, but my recent experience was really disappointing. I placed an online order for about $35, but I never received the food. When I spoke to the manager in person, I was told I could cancel it. Later, customer service told me that cancellations aren’t allowed after placing the order. So I ended up spending around $60 total and only got half my food. On top of that, the customer service wasn’t helpful at all — they just sent a standard response and didn’t resolve anything. The food itself was mediocre at best, definitely not worth the price, especially when they charge nearly a dollar just for ranch. I really expected better communication and accountability from The Habit. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from them again unless they improve how they handle mistakes and customer support.
I come to this location often evrytime I never have to ask for cheese on my burger well it didn’t come with cheese so I asked the guy and he said she didn’t charge you for cheese I asked for a refund because I wouldn’t be able to eat it without cheese and the cooks in the back specifically a lady kept starring at us laughing making comments like did you take the burger making us feel so uncomfortable eating here WILL NOT BE COMING TO THIS HABIT EVER AGAIN even the manager was laughing and didn’t care how the employees were acting . Inappropriate and disgusting behavior coming from someone who works in food
Went there on a Friday not very busy at all.. We been there many times before but haven’t for a few months. Order our food and looked for a place to sit down. Notice every single table was dirty. We to the counter and ask if they can clean a table so we can sit. After about 5 mins Alex proceeded to start cleaning the other tables instead of the one I was standing next to. She got distracted by another customer and then they buzzer went off to pick up my food. As Alex was in the counter again I told her if she doesn’t mind I can clean it myself if she could just give me the rag. She told me no I can’t and told me she was going to go do it right now. So I walked back to my table with food in hand and standing there she proceeded to clean the other tables first. That went it decided to just go outside instead. My wife order the Cobb salad and she noticed that there was no egg on her salad so I went inside to ask I was told we have no eggs. I told them I would be nice if you guys would mention that when u order the salad and then the girl told me I don’t know what to tell you and I told she that she could just said what I just told you. Asked for her manager Greselda and she told me she was on her 10 min break. Will definitely not be going back there unfortunately.
I went on a Saturday to eat. The food was so good! I recommend the Santa Barbara Char was honestly so good. The only downfall of the experience was that in the afternoon around 6 I wanted some of the lemonades and I told the worker 3 times if there was gonna be some more and they said no. They closer 10. How did you run out of the lemonades that early? Or are they just too lazy to put some more. Very disappointed because their lemonades are really good.
