What a great new wine bar!! Interesting wonderful wine. The food is phenomenal! We had the gazpacho and charcuterie board. Evening was made with the great conversation at the bar. Highly recommend!

What a delightful place! I spent an evening there with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service. I came for the wine, but I stayed for the tinned fish.

Highly recommend. The food and wine were excellent. I ordered summer bruschetta and gazpacho. Both had a wonderful depth of flavor and were beautifully presented. My husband had a kielbasa plate with their special potato salad and pickled vegetables made in-house. He was very pleased. They offer an impressive variety of tinned fish and we brought several to take home. We will return.

Good and interesting wine and bubbles selection, tasty food, some of the most impressive charcuterie boards I've ever seen, and the biggest, most interesting collection of tinned fish I ever knew possible. If you're a seafood lover--or even just curious--this is a dream come true. The quality and variety of the tinned seafood offerings are unlike anything I've seen locally. Pairing them with a well-curated glass of wine feels like a mini European vacation. Add to that the attentive and friendly service, and you've got a gem of a spot that's perfect for a casual evening or an elevated night out. A total standout in Menlo Park--can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous location with a creative and efficient menu. Unless you are wanting tinned fish, then they have the largest ‘spaghetti factory’ menu of tinned fish in the western hemisphere. I didn’t know octopus came in a tin!

I drove from San Jose to meet up with wine drinking friends who wanted to check out Haven on their opening weekend. Lucky for me they carry sour beer!!! All the food we tried was unique, fresh and super tasty and reasonably priced. I didn't know gourmet tin fish was a thing but now it's my thing - bought 5 different ones to take home to try. Very inviting place, beautifully decorated and the back patio was cozy. My friend was so impressed that he spoke with the owners about booking his company's Christmas party . Definitely worth checking out... wish there was one of these in San Jose. Lea and Sam (the owners) are SO nice and friendly and down to earth… they both spend time talking with our entire table.

Haven Wine & Cheese is a wonderful addition to Menlo Park! It's beautiful inside and we felt like we were in a swanky SF restaurant. The staff are all very happy and friendly. They have a nice outdoor patio with a relaxed and lively ambiance. The wines we tried were really good and we had some tasty nibbles. Can't wait to visit again!

It’s charming, warm, and thoughtfully designed (and the wine selection is so so awesome!) You walk in and instantly feel at home. But what truly sets Haven apart are the owners. They are deeply rooted in our local community. Longtime locals who have always shown up for all of us, and now they’ve created a space that reflects everything they stand for: connection, quality, and heart. This isn’t just a wine bar. It’s a gathering place, a little refuge, and a reminder of how lucky we are to live in a neighborhood where places like this can exist. Welcome to the neighborhood Haven!!! We are soooooo happy to have you!

Love the back patio ! Done in such a classy way. Lots of shade, seating, and beautiful lighting in the evening . Great wine selection, cheese, and tin fish. And the owners are so friendly and welcoming, and best of all they live within blocks. What a great place for the entire local community to enjoy. What a lovely spot. The craftsmanship, candor, and care with which they put together this wine catalog and establishment; impeccable. The owners are so nice and the wine choices and food are amazing! The chef is so creative; a complete star! Overall, I highly recommend you visit this gem!

Such a great addition! Their food menu is limited but they are feeling things out. Their sctick is tinned fish which i love! Good innovation but NOT CHEAP!! Wine selection is ok (compared to cru, vino locale) but good enough. Again maybe they can keep improving. Owners are very pleasant and welcoming!
