This was my first time here. I will say it is my new favorite spot in the area for sushi. Very nice assortment of fresh sashimi. Beautiful and delicious rolls. They had a large variety that I have not seen in other locations. Absolutely wonderful experience. I will definitely be back, and would recommend.

This was my very first time going to Sushi Cuisine to try out some good sushi to eat. I went with my friend after hanging out at Em-Tea playing cards and drinking boba. My friend was kind enough to offer me her Miso soup even though she's not a fan of Miso soup. The food was great and the service here is amazing! The employees here are friendly and welcoming and I gave them a good tip of $4.95 just because of the good vibes and all😊 Would definitely come back again whenever I could!

Went for dinner with hubby and daughter since was craving for ramen and sushi. Ordered little too much but all the food was good and sushi was fresh and yummy. Pricewise not so bad for quality and taste, it’s worth it. Staff was nice and friendly

Me and my dad have been coming here for a few months as of writing this, and it has yet to disappoint!!! The food is amazing, especially the Udon and Ramen, which is very hearty and umami. The food and atmosphere makes you feel like you are in an old Ramen shop tucked in the depths of a bustling japanese city. The waiters/staff here are delightful to talk to, and I always look forward to coming here. My only gripe is the weird schedule, but that's nothing in comparison to everything else this restaurant has to offer!!!

I’ve been coming to this amazing restaurant since 2014. Staff is always very friendly, fast and attentive. There’s plenty of space to sit with friends to enjoy your food and drinks. They offer dine-in, to-go and orders via phone call. It’s located right next to Raley’s in Yosemite North Shopping Center, so there’s plenty of parking space nearby. They offer anything from sushi rolls, nigiri sushi rolls, ramen soups, udon plates and soups, bento lunch boxes, tempura and many more delicacies and dinner plates. I particularly love their lunch bento boxes, udon soups, tempura and sushi rolls. Their Beef Udon Soup is flavorful and filling, yet very gentle in taste and on the stomach. The noodles are perfectly thick and chewy. The of strips of beef are well cooked and bite-sized. The broth has all the flavor! My go-to order for sushi is their Caterpillar Maki, and I add crab meat on top. It’s a shrimp tempura roll topped with avocado and crab meat. This is basically a Titanic Roll with Avocado instead of Salmon and Tuna. Sometimes the avocado is not the freshest, but definitely still delicious. I love how the shrimp tempura and crab meat come together. I also ask for spicy mayo on the side. I love dipping my caterpillar maki in this delicious, smooth and creamy sauce.

There doesn't seem to be a designated server. That's totally ok, though. I love the fact that I can call any server over, and they attend us quickly.

Honestly every time I come here I never leave disappointed. The swamp roll will always be my go to roll. I get it nearly every time and it's always amazing. The sarata with salmon is great. The sauce it has is spicy and savory. This is my go to sushi place in merced.

The environment was superb first time eating sushi here in Merced and it did not disappoint. I got the unagi Bentonville box and my mother got the teriyaki salmon and it was delicious the sashimi pieces they give you are huge and delicious. Everything about this place was fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back again.

Looking at the menu, there was plenty of photos so that was visually appealing and helped me decide what I wanted. Once we ordered, the food didn't take long to come out. Taste - Honestly speaking, I feel like Merced is a smaller town so the quality wouldn't be good but it turned out better than I thought! I liked the miso soup, the salad with sauce was drenched like a typical restaurant so that was basic. The fish tastes fresh and somewhat firm. The caterpillar roll was delicious. I even had a sushi boat and that was good overall as well. The waitress was attentive and made sure to stop by here and there to see how we were doing. After eating - I didn't feel bloated or any discomfort from the food. I was happy with my meal and check came very quickly. The restaurant staffs actually work together so things were moving by a lot quicker. 4/5 Overall, as limited as it is here with sushi, I actually enjoyed this place and wouldn't mind coming back.

However, a smile and a nicer tone of voice would make your guests feel welcoming and not wonder if they're here to ask for food for free. Sushi is okay by the US standard (if you've had authentic sushi, you'll know what I mean). It's not better or worse than sushi from any normal sushi restaurant in Merced. We won't be coming back again, though. We dine at a restaurant not just for the food but for the whole experience. It's one of the few places we seriously considered if we should have tipped because obviously you didn't earn it.

Just went off based off the reviews and let me tell you the food was not good. That’s spicy mayo with sour sushi was was bland. No taste. I also got Ramen and the Ramen was really gross. Like it had like a coffee taste to the water. I don’t know how to explain it, but like it is weird. Couldn’t finish it.

We were waiting to see if anyone was coming to our table because we needed more water refills no one came, and also when we were done no workers approached us, when we tried asking one of the workers when they walked passed us they told us give them a second with a tone and never came back and she was doing something else right in front of us.
