Best place to get a sandwich in north Merced. Would definitely come to this place again. Great workers. One of the employees even cleaned a mess I accidentally made.

We wanted some clam chowder in a bread bowl. It was good. The soup portions were a little small. The shop was clean and smelled good inside. Parking lot tends to be full and hard to find a spot.

We have been using West Coast for a few months for lunch and no regrets. Food/sandwiches are great and the salad is to die for. As a matter of fact if you’re getting catering salads from anywhere else, you’re getting ripped off. Just try one at West Coast and you will see what I mean.

I love their food 🤤 It's so good. I usually have it delivered through Uber. I don't know why it has such a low rating. There brownies are so good and their white chocolate cookies. 🤤

Food is amazing, my go to sandwich spot in merced, customer service is great, cant ask for much else.

I love the food prices are okay. The only reason why I gave it a 3 star on the service is because I do not like the fact that the employees here speak a different language makes me feel awkward as if they're talking about me. And I'm sure that the other employees that don't understand that language probably feel kind of weird as well. I think we should stick to speaking English unless we're helping a customer with a different language. I don't think it's appropriate for employees to speak anything. Other than English. Especially when other employees can't understand

Sourdough was good but I would say not great. I've had better sourdough like Acme Sourdough of Berkeley.

However, I’ve ordered through DoorDash three times recently, and each time I selected and paid for a side pickle, yet I never received it. Now, I know some might say, “It’s just a pickle,” but when I take the time to order and pay for something, I expect to receive it. And clearly, I want my dang pickle! Today, I called the store and asked to speak with a manager. The young lady who identified herself as the manager took no accountability for the missing items, instead blaming the DoorDash drivers for “hounding” them for orders. At no point did she offer a solution to make it right, but when I mentioned I’d be coming in the next day to pick up my missing pickles, she agreed. If small items like pickles are being forgotten, what else is slipping through the cracks? Please take an extra moment for checks and balances—customers are paying for these items, and it shouldn’t feel like a chore to get what we’ve ordered. Accuracy matters! Additionally, better training should be provided—not just for customer service but also for handling situations like this. A simple acknowledgment and a proactive solution would have gone a long way. A great product deserves great service to match!

I ordered a six inch turkey sandwich, with a side salad and drink. Not only did they forget my pickles and mustard but the sourdough bread for half of the sandwich was so hard I had to take the top piece off to eat it. I’ve bought sourdough from a store that was softer. Anyways, that didn’t bother me too much and I started eating my salad that got with a side of jalapeños. I was watching a movie in a dark room but as soon as I ate the jalapeños I could immediately tell they were rotten. It almost made me sick. I stopped eating those and continued with my salad that was actually very delicious and fresh until I got to the end and pulled a long hair out of my mouth. Lol it was actually kind of funny all of the things that were wrong with my order for such an expensive sandwich shop. I don’t normally leave reviews but I just had to share this experience.

When this sandwich shop first opened in Merced, I was excited, and the food was good, fresh. I love the chicken caesar saladl But the last two times I ordered the salad, it tasted old. Not fresh. And some pieces of the chicken had an off flavor. Am very disappointed.

I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich got to work started eating it and noticed they forgot to put the pesto in my sandwich I don't go there very often because it's so expensive but every once in awhile I go because I get a craving for the chicken pesto sandwich 12 dollars for a regular grilled chicken sandwich is ridiculous

Stay away, find something else. I just went there on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm. They were not busy, and they took 20 minutes to get me 1 sandwich. The worst thing is they did not care. I checked with them after 13 minutes and they told me the young man was making mine next. I stood there and watch the young man do a little, talk to the girls, do a little, and look around and talk to the girls. Then 5 minutes later he looked around for a bag to put it in, slowly walked over to and stood in front of me messing with the bag before I took it from him. After all of that it was not a good sandwich. It was a BBQ Brisket with so much BBQ sauce it just made a mess everywhere. All I could think was, I wish I had gone to Mountain Mike's next door. It would have been faster and better.
