I found this place on Instagram before coming to Mérida. It didn’t miss my expectations at all. Tacos arrachero were delicious. This gin bar is well worth the visit! Such lovely service from Gabriel, the charming waiter. So warm and welcoming. Lovely food and a stellar selection of cocktails and mixes. We just kept on returning each evening for an aperitif. Great atmosphere.

This place must not be missed! It is the best bar I have visited. The interiors are stunning- I felt like I was transported back in time. The lighting is incredibly warm and dark, which definitely sets the mood for a night out. The cocktails are delicious and expertly made- the masala sour was a great one. The hamburger was great too. I will definitely return any time I am in Mérida, I was highly impressed.

Had such a great time! Gabriel and Danny were amazing! They were both very accommodating super friendly, and very helpful with suggestions. Our drinks were absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend the Hibis club for a drink! The presentation is beautiful as well as unique and very delicious. The interior is also very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and even outside is gorgeous.The atmosphere is very pleasant & lively as well. They play great house music. Definitely a cool spot to go with your boyfriend, girlfriend or a small group of friends. Can’t wait to visit agin!! 😃🌸🍹

We had a great time at Gin 47. Gabriel was the perfect host. They have such a well curated drink list and food menu. We enjoyed all the dishes from truffle fries, giant croquettes, tuna Tostada, and the coffee bacon burger (loved this).

What a nice find in Merida. Friends and i was looking for a place to have cocktails and came across Gin 47. We went here on Thursday night and it was not very busy. Atmosphere was sort of swanky and the service was great. We only had cocktails so not rating the food. Cocktails were great! Most were quality gin based creations though they did have a few non gin based options too. We loved to variety of cocktails and the presentation. If Merida looking for a cool place to relax with a date, and/or friends with cocktails don't sleep on this place I am sure you will enjoy!

4 menu pages of drinks and 1 of food is my kind of place! Lol! The cocktails are huge, and they don't skimp on the booze. Absolutely worth the price. And the view from the rooftop dining area is amazing. Food was also fantastic. A gourmet twist on traditional local cuisine.

El ambiente del lugar es muy agradable, a media luz y muy bonito. Las bebidas son muy ricas, mi favorita fue el Hendricks Gin es muy rico, refrescante y los sabores muy balanceado. Pedimos los baos de entrada y qué platillo tan delicioso, vale totalmente la pena probarlo, iría solo para poder comerlos, de verdad que muy ricos. La cena estuvo bien, pero no me encantó creo que si quedó corta en sabores a comparación de la entrada y las bebidas que están muy ricas. Pedí la pasta gin 47 y tacos arracheros. No sé si me animaría a cenar nuevamente ahí, pero volvería para tomar unos drinks deliciosos.

Mi novia y yo fuimos a tomar un trago. En general el lugar se percibe bastante agradable y la decoración y ambientación son ideales. Los tragos que pedimos fueron correctamente preparados y la presentación bastante buena. La gente fue de trato amable. Solo tengo dos observaciones para GIN47; pongan más atención constante a los comensales, ya que a pesar de el trato amable si hubo un par de ocasiones en que no teníamos un mesero cerca para pedir lo que queríamos, y pongan un poco de atención a la limpieza de mesas vacías, ya que cuando llegamos la mesa tenía suciedad que suponemos era del servicio anterior y no la limpiaron al momento de sentarnos sino hasta que lo solicitamos. Solo por ello no dejo 5 estrellas, pero si la recomendación para la gente que visita.

Excelente decoración y atención de los meseros. Pasta gin47, maple chicken burger, fried oreos y los mocktails muy buenos. Pedimos guacamole por el precio podrían ponerle un poco más de aguacate. Mala suerte que no había agua en los sanitarios podrían colocar gel.

Place is pleasant. Sat outside, the tables are very small. Mainly for drinking and not eating, so pick a regular table if doing so. Drinks were very good, food as well. Brie was excellent, although more toast was needed. Fish tacos are very good. The chicken sandwich not so great, BUT they asked what the problem was! I wish a few other restaurants would take interest and do this.

I was so excited to try this place after hearing about it from other Google reviewers and YouTubers. As far as the view of the city and atmosphere it was perfect. The craft cocktails were prepared perfectly. My initial impression was the staff was not very welcoming and seemed a bit pretentious. We had the corquttes and weren't completely done. The music would have been great but there were competing djs. Also, there is a sign to building to indicate you're in the correct place.

El lugar es bonito, acogedor. Sin embargo, se supone que su especialidad en bebidas es el Gin y honestamente no tienen un sabor especial, son comunes y corrientes. Con respecto a la comida, no puedo dar una calificación general porque no todos los platillos estaban ricos. Pedimos 2 entradas: Guacamole 10/10 muy rico, tostadas de atún 1/10 sin sabor, muy equis. De plato fuerte: Pasta de pistache con burrata y tocino 10/10 fue lo que más me gustó y los tacos de arrachera 8/10. De postre, pedimos un pastel de chocolate con tocino, tenía muchas expectativas pero fue otra decepción, 1/10 porque estaba extremadamente dulce (para mi gusto), pensé que sería una combinación de dulce con salado rico, pero no. Finalmente, el servicio no es bueno, el mesero que nos tocó nos atendió de malas, no se si tuvo un mal día pero el servicio no se sentía agradable.

La comida está muy rica y excelente. Pedí una bebida y nunca llegó, cuando se lo comentamos a la mesera insinuó 2 veces que sí la llevaron (como si estuviéramos mintiendo). Nos hizo pasar un mal rato al final. Ojo con el servicio.

I am very sorry to write this review as who will be hit with it - is the young people, who are just starting their journey, but on the other hand; i think they need to learn what the true customer service is, as they’ve chosen to work in the industry called; “HOSPITALITY”. The bar is nice. It has everything a classy cocktail joint should have; good selection of alcohols, classy glassware, plush seats etc. the menu is nice. It’s inventive enough, have solid classics, some snacks… BUT; the service people are COLD AND INDIFFERENT, not interested in the guest at the slightest. They were just standing 2 metres from us the whole time, 5 of them!!!! Not even asked if we were ok. Staring in the abyss. They have not asked: If the cocktails were ok. If we needed anything else. No snacks (classy place of this caliber someplace else would give you 3 crisps or 5 nuts, at least pretended they cared), not even drop of water (classy place of the same caliber elsewhere GIVES YOU WATER). Nothing. Like an echo in the well. I’ve ordered a martini. I’m a drink specialist by trade. I’m also a spirits judge. Worked 20 years in the industry in London with the best producers, the best bars and the best mixologists. So I dare to say: I was entirely disappointed in the experience. I have chosen vodka for my martini, but no one was interested how I would like it or what vermouth I’d like to have. And the olive which was randomly thrown to the bottom of my glass having been taken from a huge plastic container, was the meanest quality and just poisoned the whole cocktail. Overall, sad sad experience, horrible customer service, poor cocktail. You have plenty to learn. And Monkey 47 who’s so very obviously sponsored you, should review where their money goes.

A beautifully furnished bar that is Instagram ready. However, we were extremely disappointed with our drinks and the especially with the service. My partner and I are somewhat cocktail aficionado’s, so we were interested in their menu. My partner had the Fraga Tonic and sadly it was truly undrinkable. What was supposed to deliver notes of cardamom, strawberry and mango tasted like pure soot. I was shocked when I took a sip after him. I finished my drink as we talked (I ordered the Black Skull, which was okay) and the waiters passed by multiple times without a) asking if I wanted another drink, b) checking in with my partner as to why he hadn’t touched his. After about 20 minutes, we signaled the waiter and politely let him know that the drink wasn’t drinkable, and asked if it possibly had been made wrong. He mumbled something and it got awkward, and we asked for the cheque. We paid full price for the drink, with no move made by staff to make our experience more enjoyable. Others in the bar seemed to be having a good time. Order at your own discretion.
