We read on a blog a chef had the best fish taco of their life here, so we had to try, it exceeded our expectations! This place does THE BEST FOOD. We came here for my birthday dinner. Make sure you try the shrimp / clam / chorizo taco (sounds bizarre especially coming from a fussy eater) but that will be in my dreams forever heheheh you must go.

Fantastic! Nicely located little seafood bar in the center of Merida. Plenty of options on the menu with generous portions and excellent preparations. We tried several types of raw prepared clams, tacos, and tostadas. Everything was top notch. Good wine and beer selection as well. The restaurant is small with only 4 tables but service is fast and attentive. Definitely will return!

This small seafood restaurant is a hidden gem that truly deserves your attention. Operated in a tapas-style format—with more generous portions than traditional tapas—it offers the perfect opportunity to share and sample a variety of plates. Each dish is a standout, combining incredibly fresh ingredients with a thoughtful mix of cooking techniques and deep-rooted family traditions. With only 15 seats available, dining here requires either a bit of luck or some advance planning. But once you're seated, you’ll quickly realize that this team is in complete control of their craft. Every plate that comes out of the kitchen is executed with care, confidence, and a deep understanding of flavor and balance. It's not just a meal—it’s an experience worth seeking out.

We ate at a number of higher end restaurants while in Merida and this beat all of them. Oysters, aguachile, tuna tostada...all absolutely delicious. Incredibly friendly staff, just a gem of a place. Relatively new- don't be discouraged by the number of reviews. 10 stars!

The highlight meal of our Merida trip! The food is absolutely to die for! Honestly, everything we had was incredible! You will miss out if you don’t try it. We had - fish tacos - grilled octopus - tuna tostada - octopus tostada - oysters - cocktails And we’re still dreaming about it all! You will not regret it.

If I had to go into only 1 restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be this restaurant! First and foremost, the dishes here are better than 3 Michelin star restaurant food: unique flavours, beautiful presentation, and decent portions. Especially when considering the price to quantity and quality, no other establishment can beat this place. Secondly, it looked like a small family owned place. You get to experience a very private and intimate service. Lovely vibe and atmosphere 🙌🏽 Please, do yourself, your stomach and wallet a favour, and visit this restaurant 😊

So my husband found this spot upon our arrival and we visited Conchitas on our second day in Merida, WOW! The whole experience was incredible, the service, food, exciting flavours, cocktails, music, atmosphere - we knew we had found a special place. We loved it so much that we went two more times during our 6 day vacation in Merida! It was consistently delicious and wonderful each and every time. Yolanda (manager) and Jonathan (server) greeted us with a big smile during each visit and provided some of the best service we’ve ever experienced (and we were both servers for many years). We even bought their tshirts to take back home with us. Very highly recommend everyone check out this cute and cozy spot! We can’t wait to go back again! Highly recommend, the tostada la gordita, almeja chocolata, clam y oyster chowder and asado pulpo! Negroni, aperol spritz & margarita!

A pretty new seafood restaurant in the heart of Centro Merida. It's not a traditional seafood place. For instance, their clam chowder is nothing like the New England style but nonetheless tasty. I just found everything to be very heavy on the salt. The service was excellent though.

Place is cute, and to be fair we did arrive just before closing on new years day so keep that in mind. Still, the food to me was just OK. Big and generous servings, especially the tuna, but we were perhaps encouraged to order too much food after we asked if what we ordered would be enough. The food was a bit of a mixture. The scallops were just bizarre. The cold butter mixture underneath was uneasant in texture and taste, and the scallops did not taste fresh. Tuna tostada was great. The other tostadas were just way too high on the acid, and the fish had a mushy texture on one of them.. Some of the lime needed to be drained before serving because eating what felt like half a cup of lime juice is too much. All in all it felt like a bit of a rip off, but there is lots of potential, and they did have a very nice selection of seafood.
