Deliciosos, los de zanahoria con mole y los de chocolate con nuez fueron nuestros favoritos. Recomiendo NO ir con hambre porque no es seguro que estén, fuimos a buscarlos varios días y no llegaban, entonces vayan con la mentalidad de comprar para llevar, si están... que bien, si no... es algo del destino jajaja.

Muy simpatica la persona y re buenos los tamales! Habia una seleccion grande, 45-55 por tamalito. Nos quedamos con panzitas bien llenas :)

Waanzinnig!! De eerste tamales voor ons in Mexico en we hadden het niet beter kunnen treffen. Zulke overheerlijke smaken, we gingen voor hartige tamales en namen die met mole en de andere met rapas, een lichte peper. Echt fenomenaal. Je loopt er 's avonds zo voorbij. Er zit namelijk alleen een man met enkel een pan; en een fantastische glimlach! We werden ontzettend vriendelijk geholpen, in goed Engels. Wat het voor ons een stuk makkelijker maakte om alle opties te begrijpen. Ben er snel bij wat hij verkoopt snel leeg. Fantastisch

The best tamales! I've tried almost all of them and they are all great: nopales encacahuatados, elote con rajas, chocolate con nuez are a few of my favorites. But you can't go wrong! Also generous portions and amazing people running the stand. Enjoy!

Such good vegan street food- I hadn’t been able to try tamales until I found this place - so many different options but my favourites were garbanzo con papa and the chocolate con nuez if you have a sweet tooth - go and support this stand and enjoy the delicious tamales!

Lovely little stall on paseo de montejo - the gentleman serving us was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend the tinga de zanahoria! If you’re vegan/vegetarian & visiting Merida you shouldn’t miss this stall, so lovely to have multiple choices of interesting tamale flavours that don’t feel like an afterthought :) muchas gracias!! I hope to visit again before we leave

Los tamales son deliciosos, estilo CDMX en hoja de mazorca, suaves, jugosos y deliciosos como deben de ser, gracias por añadir éste producto al consumidor vegano, dificil de encontrar pero merece la pena

Sin ninguna duda, el mejor tamal vegano que he comido en México. Y mira que ya he probado muchos tamales buenos en todos lados. El sabor es incomparable, súper bien relleno y realmente delicioso. Me sorprendió muchísimo.

No soy vegana, pero estos tamales están deliciosos. Probamos varios sabores y toda la familia se impresionó y quiso repetir. Recomiendo el de picadillo de lentejas y el de chocolate con nueces.

El sazón de los guisados es muy bueno, la cantidad que le ponen al tamal es generosa y el tamaño de cada pieza es grande lo cual los hace súper convenientes en relación a su precio La atención y servicio son de primera Tal vez el único detalle y que no demerita en lo absoluto, es que no tienen todos los guisados disponibles a diario por lo que es un poco más cuestión de tener suerte para que te toque el de tu preferencia 100% recomendables..!!!

Estos son sin duda los mejores tamales en Mérida. Ya sea que seas vegano o no, es un crímen no hacer parada cuando visitas Paseo de Montejo. Todos son sabrosos pero los de chicharron en salsa verde se vuelven vicio. El servicio es excelente y hay facilidades de pagar en efectivo o hacer transferencias. Otro plus es que casi siempre haces amigos en la fila

Such a friendly guy selling really nice tamales! The texture was really amazing, not dry or not soggy. They are vegan, and while I loved the flavour of the chicharrón one with green sauce, the texture of the seitan inside wasn’t for me. But the tamale & flavor of the sauce was amazing. I also tried the mole which was really great. I’d love to come back and try the frijoles one which I imagine is incredible. Def worth a stop for a snack or a meal.

You must go! A humble street food cart set up. The owner was really helpful and had an infectious happiness about him. Talked through all the options available (all vegan!). I was on the way to dinner plans but I HAD to go here and so glad I did. I bought a chickpea tamale (which I couldn't resist eating right away) and a chocolate-walnut one which I kept and ate the next day. Really good value, I think they were about 35pesos each. My only regret, I wasn't in Merida longer to try all the options. Love that they're wrapped in Banana leaf too, really sustainable.

Wow, tell me all your secrets. That was delicious. The Chocolate & Nuez is a must to have whilst it's warm. Melt in the mouth deliciousness. I felt it was overpriced at first but then a I considered how much a good slice of vegan chocolate cake usually is in Mexico and its way cheaper in comparison. Thanks!

These tamales were some of the best food we had in our 3 weeks in Mexico, served hot by one of the loveliest people we encountered on our trip. We wish we had more time in Merida just so we could come back again and again.

We appreciate the love and time put into every single hot wrapped tamale! Everytime we visit downtown Merida when you are open, we will be there!!!

Unbelievable! I happened upon this place, tamales already made but hot and absolutely awesome! Lots to choose from and they're so good they may just make you wanna slap yo mamma, or at least the nearest carnivore. I asked the woman selling them if she made them, had she said yes, I may have gotten down on a knee and proposed.

Go here if you are vegetarian!! I tried 3 different tamales and they were all excellent. The pineapple and coconut one didn’t really do it for me but all of the regular dinner style tamales were 10/10! Prices were good too. 25 pesos per tamale and you would eat maybe 3 (4 if a hungry guy) to get full.

All vegan tamales are tasty, and the dude has a whole selection of different ones to choose from (35 pesos each for savory, 45 for sweet). However, on our first visit he was setting up 20 min late, and in our second visit he wasn't there at all!
