This evening I made a visit and received the most wonderful service. I was having such a bad day and James the manager helped calmed my day. The service was excellent and the food was fresh, I most definitely will recommend this Baker's location.

This BBQ place was amazing! The food and service were excellent. I would recommend the beans and brisket from here to any BBQ fan. Only downside is that the place is a bit old, but the food and service make up for it!

The ribs and sausage are amazing. Their flavor melds with the BBQ sauce for an amazing experience. The brisket is average, but definitely worth trying at least one time.

I went to their Mesquite Texas location. Yes, it’s old and a bit run down but that kind of adds to the charm. At $15 for a two meat dinner plate, it’s a huge bargain. I got the brisket and smoked sausage with coleslaw and potato salad on the side. Comes with some thick Texas toast as well. Everything was very very good. The sausage was super flavorful and just the right amount of kick. The sauce was excellent as well. The meats were juicy and flavorful, not a lot of fat on the brisket, in fact, I didn’t notice any. But it was still moist and juicy and really good. Maybe not the absolute pinnacle of perfection but very close at a very reasonable price. Other places it could’ve cost twice that, but then it would probably have come with something other than Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. It was so good I got a pulled pork sandwich and a turkey sandwich for lunch tomorrow. I’m traveling so in a hotel. That sounded so much better than any other fast food type place I would’ve gotten lunch at.

Overall it seems as though the service declined. I was excited for BBQ and decided to get a drive through order. There was an older Hispanic female and younger Hispanic male who took and gave me my order (okra and ribs). I received my ribs but not the okra. I waited and the female employee comes back to the window and asked if I needed anything else and I told her I didn't get my okra. She said "oh". Leaves and comes back to the window and asked if I needed anything else. I replied "no just my okra". A young male employee came to the window a minute later and handed me a container. I took it and drove home (NO pre snacking). Opened everything (attached photos) to see I only got a pinch of okra and paid full price. It seems as though they were trying to avoid giving me my entire order and I'm not sure if they didn't have enough or was rushing. Either way this was one of the more less satisfying experiences here because...well money paid for services and goods. I will say this - their turkey is the BEST (It wasn't included in this order). It's a 50/50 chance I'll recommend - depends on my next experience. It's advised to double check your order before arriving home. Also be mindful the portions may have gotten a bit smaller with the same or increased prices due to inflation so be prepared to spend a little more for less.

Just don't ✋️!! Look at the yelp reviews 1st Looks like I'm not the only 1 who has found this place serving inedible food. Someone else stated they found pubic hair in their food. I had plastic in mine!! It wouldn't be so bad if the worker who answered the phone actually had a ounce of concern especially after spending over $50 on food I wouldn't serve my dog!! I'd rather drive half way across town to spend my money with an establishment that takes accountability. Never again

Please Please Please Do Not eat from this establishment!! After tearing up the pasta salad and the beans I started to take a bite of my sandwich (sliced brisket) and noticed a large piece of plastic. I called the Establishment and yo my surprise the person who answered the phone had a very nasty attitude and was almost as if oh well type of attitude. I'm head to the Er as I consumed a large amount of plastic from this sandwich and informed them they would be receiving the bill. No apology no are you OK just oh that's what we wrap our meat in to keep.jt fresh. I'm really happy I recorded this phone call so I can have proof. My chilfren consumed this meat and Im afraid for their health. This ia absolutely negligence and is is not ok.

I stopped by today for lunch and it was my first time trying this place, I am very disappointed, the brisket was lacking flavor, the Mac n cheese and those ranch style beans just bland. paying $21 I was expecting for the food to wowww me and boy I did not get that. O and a fly was flying around the food. Just nasty 🤮…. This is a wanna be bbq joint.

As you can see in the picture, the food is dry and the outside had a disturbing nasty smell. As soon as I pulled up, the smell in the building was off, but I thought maybe it was one of those hole-in-the-wall spots that surprise you. I was very, very, very, very wrong. This place is horrible. I’m disappointed. I just wanted some good BBQ.

This place is amazing and so are the employees however I was very bummed out to find out they no longer do “Kids eat free Wednesdays “ although they still have the promotion on the window they would Not honor it. Which is understandable because they said they kids meals are a bit more different now. My kids were heartbroken 💔
