Absolutely loved this place! Service is fantastic, friendly, attentive and fun. Food is excellent - the red and green sauces served with our alambre al pastor were hands down best I've tried! Margaritas were delicious... We had strawberry and mango with tajin rimmer
THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!! I got shrimp and chicken alambre and it was the best food I've had on our trip. The staff was so friendly and welcoming as well. This is a MUST place to eat.
We had 2 wonderful dinners at Perla Negra. Everything was top notch. Amazing food, reasonable prices, great service, tasty drinks and super live atmosphere. Our server Daniel was very attentive and very fun to talk to. Definitely, a must visit if you are in Puerto Morelos!!!!
Delicious food, great drinks, and excellent value for the price. Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We came back a few days later and once again, everything was amazing. Would absolutely return and highly recommend
Even though this place was one of the busiest restaurants of the night the service couldn’t really have we any better. We did not want for anything. The food was really good and we plan on going back again. Prices are on the higher side of restaurants in PM but worth it.
We visited this restaurant first thing after arriving in Puerto Morelos, and the atmosphere won us over right away. We even celebrated a birthday here — the food was incredibly delicious, and the cocktails were just great. During our stay, we tried many restaurants, but this one turned out to be the tastiest and the absolute best. The staff is very attentive, and the level of care truly stands out. We loved it!!!

An other amazing place 30 minutes away from Cancun. The service is excellent and fast. The Michelada is a must and el ceviche delicioso . The waiter Francisco is very dedicated and very kind . We followed his food advices and we haven’t been disappointed.

3rd meal in PM and by far the best meal. Nice outdoor seating with fans and a cool breeze. We had the pastor tacos and the flank steak tacos and they were so delicious. Guacamole is the best...EVER! The 3 salsa were amazing, so good. Our servers were Francisco and Suqey and they were awesome. 100% recommend Perla Negra!

Extraordinary restaurant! The New York steak with chimichurri was divine. Perfectly prepared. The cocktails were excellent. We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our most recent weeklong stay in Puerto Morelos because of the quality. We have not eaten at every restaurant in town yet in our several visits, but Perla Negra simply has to be among the best.
OMG Amazing Food and Drinks. The owners are super nice and accommodating. I had a special margarita 🍹 that so far was best I've had in Puerto Morelos. You will not be disappointed with the food or the price! You should make reservations as it is a small family run restaurant.
We had a Perla Negra Burrito with steak , and octopus and it was delicious. We also had mixed ceviche toast, grilled chicken, fried fish and lobster. All were excellent. We highly recommend this small, cozy restaurant to anyone and shall return indeed. From Boston with appreciation.
This is our second time visiting Puerto Morelos. We came to Perla Negra last year and we've talked about it all the time. Our second visit was so good.. this is a must for visitors. Tuna Carnitas is so unique and delicious, the gobenador tacos are sooo good. Octopus is delicious and such a big portion. The spicy peanut chili oil salsa is like nothing I've ever had. The owners and staff are so friendly. Michelin, are you listening? This place deserves a listing for sure. Do not skip coming here.
Favorite restaurant of 3 weeks in Mexico. It’s the only one we went to more than once. Very friendly service. Good drinks, margarita is well balanced. But the kitchen is the star. The female chef and her crew are well organized and put out great dishes with refined flavors and surprising sophistication. These are top notch dishes at a very reasonable price. The ambiance is authentic road side eatery, we enjoyed it. If you’re on the fence because of that, take a leap of faith!

We had great service , mezcalita drinks, pasta and burrito. We sat at pan outside table fun to watch the town come alive. The restaurant was full nice to see it thriving.

Reception and service is very attentive. The food is nothing exciting, at least, what I had. Some small scallops on a small bed of potato pie with a few bits of vegetable. I do not expect big portions, but this was more like a starter, not the main course. No exciting taste. Wine offering overpriced. Sorry guys, not for me again.
