Everything was great. Real Mexican food, very tasty and fresh the carne asada was on point.

So difficult to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was so fresh and the hibiscus (agua de jamaica) water was amazing! I had the beef stew (caldo de res). I have looked at so many restaurant for this soup!!! The staff was very helpful and nice as well. I will definitely 👍 be coming back!

I went after religious services on a Sunday. Some friends brought me there. Everything was homemade from scratch. I had a Chicken Fajita. I like places like this that are smaller but great at what they do. Also, did you know that one day everyone will enjoy perfect health on a paradise earth?

Super delicious tacos, I ordered three tacos, and they were ready within eight minutes. The portion sizes are good and the tacos were really amazing.

Me and hubby were looking for a breakfast spot coming home from casino and came upon this place. Was informed by server they had been open for 6 months. She was very nice and polite. Chatted with us a bit about military. Husband ordered chicken tamale (yes, for breakfast!) and I had the pork tamale. They were delicious and came with a side of salad. Seasoned to perfection!! He also ordered the breakfast burrito which we had to pack to go because he was full off the tamale. I ordered two Barbaqua tacos, rice and beans that I had to box to go because I was full also (we ate the chips and salsa they provide when you’re seated). They have three different salsas and my favorite bottled hot sauce! They are still waiting for their alcohol license. We will definitely be back and possibly order delivery. Check them out!!! Those negative reviewers don’t know what they’re talking about and were just being nasty. That’s not how you give reviews.

We had gorditas and enchiladas verde and I also had a margarita which was delicious. The Gordita bread is made in house and I’ve never had anything like it. Absolutely addictive. The meat inside the gorditas and the chicken in the enchiladas was so flavorful, everything was literally perfect. Even the rice and beans were so much better than even expected. I wish I was there right now. Can’t wait to try for breakfast!!!! It was so clean inside and everyone was very friendly. Family atmosphere. Very close to the zoo also; we will be back again and again. Just GO! Edit-Ordered takeout last night and took a picture of one of their Gorditas for this review. I was too excited by the food when I was there to take pictures. Incredible!

I just don’t have the time to make it myself very often. So I’ve been on the hunt for some good home cooking like grandma makes and I’ve finally found it here! They have a great menu with some of my hard to find favorites- like huaraches-who else in Tampa makes huaraches!?! The salsa verde had a perfect balance of spice and acidity from the tomatillos. Everything was fresh and delicious. I have found my new home away from home. Thank you El Sabor!

The food was great! I recently moved to Tampa from the west coast and I’ve had a hard time finding good Mexican food. This place does not disappoint! Can’t go wrong with any of their tacos. They also have great burritos and quesadillas. Will definitely come back!

Food is legit. Hard to find really good Mexican food. If you want authentic tasting Mexican dishes this is the place. Pambazos are the best.

Authentic Mexican cuisine with a diverse menu that will please. The flavors are savory and mouth popping. The tacos were fresh, well made and delicious. Prices are fair and portions are adequate. Service was friendly, fast and courteous. We will be coming back for sure!

We've been here multiple times. Every time food and service is good! I really enjoy watching the kids grow over the past year. Authentic. You can see them cooking. Reasonably priced. We will return😄

Fajita was delicious, service had a bit of a language barrier, and although the table should have been able to seat 4,it was a bit tight for room. The server was kind , however it was a bit difficult to convey our order and they misheard us, we had to consistently repeat what we wanted. However do not let that detract from coming to try out their food, it was delicious in every way.

Servers we friendly and greeted us as we entered. The food was mediocre in flavor and partly cooked. The food presentation was good. It could have been due to rush hour. The salsa from the chips gave me acid reflux (I don't normally get this from other salsas).

It really is just meh across the board. Very average quality usual Mexican fare. Service was friendly but not very professional. With so many better options around, I don't see a reason to ever come back here.

I am a regular customer every Tuesday. I mean every Taco Tuesday. They have so many different tacos to choose from and on Tuesday you can get any of them for $2 each. Usually I order two or more. But today I didn't. My RV's roof caved in because a tree fell on it and call the roof to collapse. All of my belongings are in there but I can't get to it. So I only had a cash app card that had $2 on it. They usually give me chips and dip what's my order and today they did not. I really didn't expect it because I only spent $2 but I'm also a regular. I just got a refund from Church's Chicken of 8.00 so I went back for 1 more 🌮 taco and still didn't receive any chips and dip. My taco looked awful 😞 I would love to post this picture that I took of my last taco but there is no button to add the picture.

Not AUTHENTIC Mexican; this was the worst Mexican food I ever had. You know it’s going to be bad when the beans have no flavor and are watery and the tamales come covered in a sauce. They also didn’t have pork tamales and there’s only a tiny amount of meat in them. Super disappointed. By your response I’m not sure if you’re trying to say I’m lying because I’m annoyed or that you lied to my Mother & Father since I wasn’t even in the car. All of the food was bad, including the burrito & torta that my mother got. Also that most definitely was not pork but beef in the tamales. BTW I was born & raised in California and am used to good authentic Mexican food.
