Tastes like your mexican mother is cooking for you!Authentic food where the cooks actually come from Mexico ( Guerrero i believe) and make some dishes you only see in mexico like Huaraches and Morcajete. They make great salsas and fresh tortillas. Try their Agua Frescas they are just like grandma makes them delicious and fruity and Large. It has a great menu with soups and fun drinks too. I ate the molcajete ( food for 2 people but you will need to ask for more tortillas) very tasty dish that has different meats, a "chile torriado" spicy fried jalapeno, and cactus ( mild flavor like a cucumber, very traditional and tasty). This is as close as you can get to eating from mexico without the trip. It is a small casual eating spot. Child friendly. Speedy service. Go for a quick meal.

Authentic cuisine! They have the best Sopes!! Friendly, welcoming staff, great menu options and for a fair price as well! Only thing was the the wall behind our table had dried food or like a kid had thrown sauce on the wall. And no paper towels in 2nd bathroom. Other than this, I'd recommend this place for some delicious Mexican food!

Good and Extensive Menu that few places have in Tampa. Authentic Mexican food of good quality. Fresh ingredients. And Good Price. Place not very spacious but cozy. It is not a Restaurant where you are going to go sit and eat for 3 Hours. Buy what places like this are to eat and leave. People tend to stay (for people who tend to do that) It affects the flow of people. Good Service in General and the food comes out Fast. There was only one waitress that day but I am a waiter and I know what it entails and I put myself in her shoes and above all the load she did her best and gave good service. Please people. Don't give a Place fewer stars for stupid things. Sometimes analyze all the criteria well. This place is Better than most Place here in Tampa. Talking about Food taste and quality

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. Very small, not much space for dine-in, but we're early birds, so we were fine. Food was fresh and delicious, he had the mixed fajitas, I had the steak fajitas. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

Nice smaller place. Visited on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday - 1 taco 🌮 = 1$ 💵 👍👍👍 I tried one of each. Except for chicken one. Since they are only by 3 pieces. And it would be too much. Beef and pork were great though as well as the sauces.

Michellada 10/10 Tacos were yum! They don't give you a lot of meat and wish they had fresh radishes for the tacos. Parking is tight as its a bumpin spot.

Great little taco shop! Wednesday’s is $1 tacos, you can’t go wrong. I had a al pastor taco and a steak taco. They were both good but the steak was my favorite. Their green sauce is flavorful. I will definitely stop back in here

This place has got the best Mexican food in town hands-down! This is real authentic Mexican food and it is top notch! The chef is the real deal, and he will make you anything you want. From street tacos to huevos a la mexicana to ceviche. You just can’t go wrong. Also, they make their own salsa fresh. It is soTasty and refreshing. I found this place today, and I will be going back there every single day that I can. What a gem!

Love this place, I stopped there just for the convenience of got something to eat fast but I was impressed. AMAZING place. I also learned of Wednesday special, all tacos $1 each. Coming back tomorrow with the whole family. The employee at the cashier was a 10+ great service she was super helpful. I’m really impressed you don’t find those perfect places anymore. 100% recommended!!!!!

if you had been in this building previously you'll see that the owner did a great job decorating and renovating this place. With a modern rustic design, this place has a great environment for a quick bite or a family dinner. This area of town needed an authentic Mexican place that didn't burn a hole in your pocket and man did the nail it. Great food and great prices! I only tried the tacos and man they packed a punch of flavor. Staff was very friendly with great cus tut omer service. I'll be back soon to try more items on the menu!

OMG!! probably the best authentic Mexican food I've had since my mom was alive. I can cook it but this food is on POINT its my new 🇲🇽 hot spot now when I don't want to cook.😉 I highly recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back...I'm determined to try everything on their menu.

Food was good, but service was okay. Also, they are charging the wrong sales tax for Hillsborough County when we went. As of now it’s suppose to be 7.5%, but our receipt was showing 8.5%. when we brought it up to our waitress she didnt know what to do, but she also didn't try to get a manager to get it fixed.

I’ve been going to Don Pancho’s Tacos for a long time, and unfortunately my experiences have continued to get worse. This is now the third time I’ve had issues with missing items in my order. When customers call to report missing food, the staff doesn’t handle it professionally—instead, they complain or make it seem like it’s the customer’s fault The service is also very disappointing. The waitresses are not welcoming or friendly, and the waiting time for food is extremely long. On top of that, they charge $1.25 for a single lemon, which honestly feels unreasonable. Another ongoing issue is their payment system. The card machines are often not working. On my last visit, I actually had to send money through Zelle to a waitress just to pay for my meal because they couldn’t run my card. What made this last experience even worse was that when we pointed out that three items from our order were missing, the owner make go into the kitchen area and threatened us instead of trying to resolve the situation. That was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I’ve tried to keep supporting this place despite the repeated problems, but after this experience I can’t recommend it anymore. When you run a business, basic human quality and respect toward customers should always come first.

While we understand it gets busy, if you don’t arrive early in the day many menu options tend to run out. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The cashier/hostess was rude and inattentive from the start. We were ready to place our order at the counter, but because we were dining in, she told us to sit down and then made us wait an additional 10 minutes before taking our order. When asked what we would like to drink, we requested a glass of water. Instead, about 10 minutes later, she brought bottled water, which we were charged for. After another 15–20 minutes, our food finally arrived. My order was correct, but my boyfriend specifically asked for no cilantro, and it was still included. The situation worsened when it was time to pay. As I handed over my card, I asked what the total was, since it wasn’t stated. The cashier did not respond. When my boyfriend repeated the question, she waved her hand in his face and continued talking to another employee in the back of the restaurant. Due to the excessive wait time, rude customer service, and incorrect order, I intentionally chose not to leave a tip. However, when I checked my account the next morning, I saw that the total charge had been adjusted to include a tip anyway. Because of the poor service and the unauthorized adjustment to the charge, we will not be returning or supporting this establishment going forward.

I’ve been there once before but back then it was in the evening and it was busy, I wanted to give it another shot this time but sadly I wasn’t able to. I called to place my order and she let me know it would be 15 minutes till the order was ready, I arrived and waited in the parking lot until it had been 15 minutes since I called. I let her know I was there to pick up my order and she let me know it would be another 15 minutes. So 30 minutes for 4 small tacos, there was only one table being served while I was there and very few cars in the parking lot. They also had trouble with their card machine when I wanted to pay for my food. Why have a special if you don’t even want people coming to try your food and posting about it to promote your business on social media? I went somewhere else and spent the same amount I would have spent for the same amount of food for better quality.

This happened around September 1. I walked to this place. Bought a steak burrito one day, it was good, was juicy, had a fair amount of steak , loved it. Came back the next day and bought the same thing again, walked home with it , ate and it wasn't the same. Not one scrap of steak in it, also seemed dry, no sauce. NEVER going back.
