Aji Limo is easily the best Peruvian restaurant in Tampa, and the only thing that surpasses the incredible food is the service. Paola was my server, and she made the entire experience unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and knew the menu well enough to recommend the perfect wines and dishes. The ambience was vibrant and welcoming, creating the ideal setting for a great meal. Paola checked in at just the right moments and anticipated what I needed without me asking. Her professionalism and friendliness truly elevated the night. Because of her, the visit went from great to exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Food was alright, I did not know their salad had cilantro on it so it did get to enjoy it as much as I could have. Next time I will get something else. Be sure to request their happy hour sangria that was great

This place is incredible. Though a little on the pricier side, the food is entirely worth it. Everything was incredibly flavorful, authentic, and filling. I’m super excited to come back here with more friends and try everything on their menu! Highlights were definitely the octopus and anything seafood. Highly recommend!

One of the best places to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine! The customer service is outstanding, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients, and you can taste it in every bite. Even the calamari stand out for their freshness, unlike other places that use processed or frozen seafood. I always order their Arroz con Mariscos or Chupe de Camarones, both are absolutely exquisite. The Ceviche Mixto is an explosion of flavors, simply unforgettable. This time I tried their famous Tallarin Verde, and the pesto sauce was unbeatable. I’ve visited many times, and they never disappoint!

We started with the classic Ceviche, which was fresh, zesty, and bursting with flavor. the accompanying sweet potatoes balanced the dish beautifully. For the main course, I opted for the Lomo Saltado, and it was nothing short of perfection. The tender, marinated beef stir-fried with onions, was a symphony of flavors. To top it all off, we indulged in a traditional Peruvian dessert, the Tres Leches Cake. It was moist, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness to conclude our meal. The service at AJI Limo was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations. It was clear that the staff is passionate about providing a memorable dining experience. Overall, AJI Limo Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Peruvian food. It wasn't crowded when we came, it was for my son's 10th birthday, unfortunately they couldn't help us enjoy our cake in the restaurant (you have to buy dessert cake in the restaurant or call ahead) so we ended up taking it home, as for the food, the ingredients were fresh and tasted great, I loved the grilled octopus legs appetizer, it was delicious with the sauce. The chicken noodles were ok, my son liked the stir fried beef, and my daughter said the seafood risotto was the best. The environment was also very cozy, warm and clean. Looking forward to exploring the new menu next time.

Great experience all around. Peruvian food was authentic and on point. Our server was all over everything and it was easy to tell she cared. Would highly recommend. The octopus might have been the best I have ever eaten!

Appetizers was the best part of the dinner and the best taste of the whole dinner .The place is small and kind of private, which I loved. On the other hand the food was ok . My expectations were higher after reading the reviews specially for the price. Servicios was ok , could’ve better . Waiter did not check on us , maybe was having a rough day , who knows, parking not really available.

Went for a friend’s birthday and was pleasantly surprised by this place! The food was absolutely delicious! They have a lunch from 11-3 then happy hour from 4-6. We grabbed lunch right in between that time but still was happy I got to experience the place. Our server was nice. He also made the drinks that my friends ordered and we were surprised at the portion sizes for their margaritas. Would definitely love to come back during happy hour. The spot was pricier than my usual Peruvian restaurant I’ve gone to. However, once I tasted the dishes, I could see why. The flavor is tremendous! Lomo saltado is my go to dish as well as the ceviche mixto. It was interesting to see how another restaurant does their dishes. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their food. They had the cute photo spot that also had a tripod with a light for phones. The restaurant itself was well lit, with a huge bar and plenty of seating.

Great Peruvian food. We got the Papas a la Huacaina, pescado lo macho, caprese salad and the ceviche. All of it was excellent. Was very happy that the Calamari on top of the pescado lo macho was cooked perfectly and not rubbery at all. Definitely will be returning to this hidden gem.

My partner is Peruvian and cooks dishes for me. So I was excited to try out a Peruvian restaurant. The dishes I’ve been made at home were so much better than what I had at Aji Limo. The service was unnecessarily slow. The espresso martini was delicious!!!! The music volume went up and down, the lights were flickering, and the entire place smelled like fish, but in a bad way, not in a “we serve seafood” kind of way. The flan was overcooked and gross with a scrambled egg texture. Flan is not supposed to be chunky. The tallarin verde with steak was not good. The steak was charred on the edges and very tough. Granted I did ask for medium well but this was more of a “well done” and overcooked steak. The pasta was ok but the sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor. I brought it home to my partner and they said it was too peppery which was unexpected for that dish. I was very surprised by my experience given the nearly 5 star Google rating.
