The atmosphere was beautiful—like stepping into an outdoor café in Greece. The service was warm, friendly, and professional, and Alba was absolutely fantastic. The food was authentic, flavorful, and truly delicious. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

I had a great brunch here! The food and atmosphere is lovely. Their espresso drinks are so good, I love their house made brown sugar syrup! We also had great service thanks to Morgan! She was very nice and had great recommendations. I will definitely be back!

The food here is delicious, flavorful and fresh. Tried the French toast this time and I regret not ordering it all the other times. I’ve never had a bad meal - everything is always incredible. Service was excellent as usual.

So let me tell you about this amazing place, first of all I was surprised by my Husband on Valentine's Day for a morning breakfast. If you are into unique places to eat and want something different for breakfast and you like greek food, this will be your place. The atmosphere was amazing,we sat outside , the place beautifully designed with Greek culture and beautiful designs. Me and my Husband had the bagel breakfast, the breakfast bread basket, lavender coffee and baklava coffee. Everything was great, the coffees were strong, the espresso punched through very strong, but my favorite was the lavender flavor. The bacon on the sandwich was excellent, we had a chance to talk to the manager/chef and she explained the delicate process of how they prepare such great bacon, the eggs beautiful, buttery, fluffy and cheese flavored filled. The bagel, what can I say, if you see the pics you will know it's everything. If you're into dips, grab the kalamata olive aioli and the garlic aioli, they come with your fries for dipping, these were exceptional, but my favorite was the olive,I can imagine it on a sandwich and it will blow it away. The other cool thing is that there is a Greek shop right next to the restaurant, when you go inside you can purchase items you may have had at the restaurant or enjoy home items to purchase. All in all this restaurant is a 5star in my books and we will definitely be back and continue to recommend to all. Keep bringing the authentic taste to Tampa.

Ate brunch here on a Friday, right before 11am, no reservation. Parking was tight but there was a spot behind restaurant. Valet seems like easier choice tho. Layout of restaurant was really cool, inside / outside combo vibes. Food was really tasty. Bakery options a super nice addition. Prices pretty fair. Will prob go back next time in South Tampa !

Multiple meals here and every single one has been phenomenal!! Even though it’s really busy on the weekends the service does not suffer. Every employee is alert, attentive, and efficient - but not rushed. They have really figured it out. Everything is delicious & genuinely authentic Greek! I highly recommend the trio of dips and add the whipped feta.

I recently came here for brunch with friends. Here’s what I thought. Atmosphere: Psomi is located in what feels like a quaint old home that’s been converted into a restaurant. It has has large indoor dining area with another bar seating area near the front. They have lots of beautiful, shaded, and cooled outdoor seating areas. The building has lots of big windows which allows for lots of natural light. The inside is decorated so you feel like you’re in Greece. Restrooms: They have two single restrooms. They were nice and clean! Service: Our server was Patrick and he was so helpful and kind. Everyone we encountered was very friendly! The tables were kept nice and clean. Food: I’ve been to Psomi several times but haven’t been in a while. The food was amazing as always! I got their Cappucino (decaf) with their homemade baklava syrup - YUM! I wish baklava syrup was sold in stores! It came with a delicious Greek cookie. We shared their bread basket which had a variety of bread. It had breadsticks, regular bread, bread with berries, and a bread stuffed with feta. All of them were delicious. They came with butter, olive oil, and jam on the side. For my entree, I had the ‘Lamb Gyro’ it was sooo good. The lamb was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. It was so flavorful, I enjoyed every bite. The fries were delicious and I loved the olive tapenade it came with. There’s a reason Psomi is so popular. The food, atmosphere, and service are always outstanding. I will definitely be back. Psomi now has valet parking or if you’re lucky and find street parking you can park for free. They also have a free parking lot that’s a block away. The one downside is that parking can be tight. Tip: Make a reservation especially on a weekend! @living.with.reg

This restaurant truly impressed me with its exceptional services. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s rare to find businesses that genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to make them feel special. This restaurant exceeded my expectations, especially when I visited to celebrate a birthday. The food was delectable, cooked to perfection, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made sure our every need was met. The restaurant’s beautiful location adds to its charm, providing a unique and inviting atmosphere. Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a table during peak hours.

Psomi is an amazing place for breakfast/lunch! They are famous for their homemade breads and it does not disappoint. We started with the bread basket. Each bread was so Delicious. We ordered the Greek dip and the chicken souvlaki as entrees. The Greek dip is a must order!!! Oh it was so good. I will be returning just for it. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. Great spot for brunch!

I discovered Psomi on UberEats and decided to treat myself to their French toast—and I’m so glad I did. It arrived perfectly packed, still warm, and clearly made with care. The presentation was beautiful, even in a delivery box, and the flavors were incredible—rich, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put love into their food. It genuinely made my morning so much better. Now I’m even more excited to visit the restaurant in person and experience everything fresh from the kitchen. Definitely a new favorite!

I started off my birthday with breakfast at Psomi and it was the highlight of my day! From the friendly servers to the scrumptious food and a birthday pastry - a very 'sweet' touch. Our favorites were the Lavendar Ube iced latte, Cinnamon Bun, traditional Strapastada (eggs), and the Brioche French Toast. I really appreciated how thoughtfully the servers boxed our leftovers and enjoyed them just as much the next day!

Tyler

The place was packed. Had to wait to pull in because valet was backed up. Usually when places are this busy you know they’re good. Enjoyed every item that came out. Everyone loved the bread basket. They have a good espresso martini. We got the baklava coffee cake to go and it was delicious.

OMG Baklava? More like BakLOVE! It was my first time trying & now I’m hooked! I loveeed our breakfast experience & how amazing the outdoor patio is - talk about a cute scenery! I didn’t expect for this restaurant to be so big from the outside. Everyone from our waitress to the valet was super great & made our dining one of my favorites in Tampa. For all the food we got, I would definitely say it is reasonable priced:) Thank you!!!!!

The place is beautifully decorated and it gives a really nice vibe. The food taste very authentic, great portion sizes and very creative drinks. The server was great and attentive to our needs, including the entire staff.

I came here by recommendation for a quick breakfast and was taken by full surprise by how amazing the food was! I asked my server Patrick for a couple of recommendations and he did not disappoint! I had a lavender Greek frappe to drink. The perfect combination of savory with the floral touch! For a little pastry treat, I had the bougatsa pastry. It was so flakey and not too sweet, while the custard was light and creamy. I was so glad I got this! For breakfast I chose the Strapatsada with bacon. The eggs were scrambled softly which made them sooooo light and fluffy and that bacon, so thick and filled with flavor. The manager ended up stopping by and was just as kind while checking in how I enjoyed everything. This place is an absolute gem with loads of flavor in everything I had. I can’t wait to return!

All the food we ordered was delicious and with authentic Greek flavors. However, the presentation of a couple of the plates was a bit underwhelming. The atmosphere was great and beautifully decorated and the service was also very good.

A Tampa relic. This place is a solid 5 stars. We started with Baklava Cappuccinos. These were great. Not too sweet, just right. We also got the treis dip. The tzatziki and favosalata hummus were our favorite of the three. My girlfriend got the Greek dip chicken sandwich. Which was packed with flavor and was a large portion. The star of the show was the lamb pita. The house made pita was warm and fluffy. The best pita we’ve had. The lamb was juicy and flavorful. It was by far the best pita we’ve had of many. I was so impressed with the service, food and environment. All the ingredients are high quality and you can taste the difference. You won’t be disappointed.

We visited for Saturday brunch with our family including 2 young grandkids & had a great meal. We sat outside under the covered dining area which was perfect on a sunny day. We started with cappuccinos sprinkled with cinnamon, which were amazing! Followed by Greek donuts, French toast, avocado toast, the Psomi bagel special, eggs with lamb meat and finally a Greek salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted perfect with a little Greek flare. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for easily conversing with our family.

This food is fresh and delicious. I love indulging in different cultures’ culinary. The service is impeccable! Our waiter was great and super attentive. The atmosphere is fun and unique. Their coffee beverages and AMAZING offering new ideas with homemade syrups and even olive oil dressed on a cortado which I normally wouldn’t try on my own, but it’s surprisingly good. You can barely taste the olive oil and it gives it a slightly earthy flavor. I had a latte with lavender syrup and coming from someone who makes her own lavender syrup, theirs IS made fresh and naturally without artificial flavors. Their croissants are OMG so delicious! I recommend their Americana breakfast sandwich. The caramelized onions and real cheese bring it to another level! The brioche French toast stuffed with custard is delicious too, however, I think the custard could have had a bit more flavor, maybe a sprinkle of salt would help. Their bourbon maple syrup was a bit too sweet for me with the already sweet brioche French toast but the fresh berries helped break up the sweetness for sure. The bathrooms were CLEAN which I can definitely appreciate. Overall it’s a great experience, a great start to a day, and I will come back to try lunch!

We had such a wonderful brunch at Psomi! Even though it was busy for Valentine’s Day, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Morgan took amazing care of us — she was attentive, friendly, and made fantastic recommendations. You can tell she really knows the menu, and her suggestions did not disappoint. She truly made our brunch experience special. The food was absolutely delicious — authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented. We also felt the pricing was very fair for the quality and portions. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend, and if you can, ask for Morgan!

The best find in Tampa! Food was delicious, very fresh. The baklava latte and the cinnamon roll croissant are a must. Love the aesthetics!! Service was great, quick but they try rushing you an out by fully cleaning the table as I was still trying to finish my coffee.

Beautiful place! We sat outside for brunch. Coffees were so unique and delicious. You could tell every bakery item was homemade. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Since it is so popular there, the tables are a bit close together, so we were able to hear everything the couples next to us were saying. But as long as you don’t mind that, Psomi is perfect.

This spot is an absolute treat for anyone who loves flaky, flavorful pastries. The mushroom tyropita is my top pick — the phyllo is perfectly crisp, and the filling is rich and savory. I also tried the herb biscuit this time, which was delightful on its own, though next time I’ll pair it with jam instead of more butter since it’s already rich enough. My husband ordered the croissant cinnamon roll, and it was incredible. Light, fluffy, with frosting that hits just the right note, especially with a strong black coffee alongside. I switched things up with a Greek honey matcha latte. It was enjoyable, not overly sweet, though the matcha flavor felt a little mild for my taste. Next visit, I’ll stick to a coffee option. For my main, I chose the strapatsada with house-cured salmon. While it was solid, the eggs were slightly overdone, so I’m excited to try another main next time. On Sunday morning around 9 am, there were plenty of tables. The space is lovely, stylish, and inviting, with friendly staff who made the experience smooth and quick. We were in and out in under an hour, which was perfect. I’d happily recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality pastries and a relaxed atmosphere.

Easily my favorite brunch spot! It is so fresh and flavorful. If I had to choose one brunch to have everyday the rest of my life, hands down would be here!! Have tried most things on the menu, definitely a fan of their lunch side more than breakfast. My favorites are tied between the pork gyro and the Greek dip. Best fries ever - get kalamata aioli for dipping!! I also really like their Greek chick salad and meatballs. I always take home some baklava and spanakopita pastries (the pastry is better than the spanakopita entree in my opinion). Just incredible overall! You do need a reservation, they are always packed. The parking right by Psomi is very limited, but just drive down to the stoplight at Howard and Cypress, a big area for the restaurant is there! Enjoy!

10/10 recommend this place!! I came for breakfast on a weekday first thing in the morning at 8:00am and loved it. All the staff I encountered were very cheerful and friendly, which I appreciated. My server Aidan A. was so sweet and attentive. I had received some sad news prior to coming here that morning and was pretty down (I still had a smile on my face and didn’t show how I was truly feeling though, so you couldn’t tell). But Aidan’s positive attitude and kindness cheered me up. This is a reminder even to myself that we never know what someone might be going through and our kindness and positive attitude towards others could make someone’s day and/or make her/him feel better. ♥️ The food was amazing! So fresh and piping hot. I ordered the Strapatsada with their house cured wild caught smoked salmon. I usually need to add salt to my food especially eggs but not here. It was perfectly seasoned and balanced. I love that everything is made from scratch and locally sourced quality ingredients. The whole milk is grass-fed and they don’t use any seed oils in their food. I finally found a favorite breakfast place in Tampa! 🥰

If you’ve been to Psomi and enjoyed the restaurant then you know to tell others it is delicious, small portions, expensive and extremely well worth it. Plus you’re looking forward to going back! Friendly service. Tasty food delivered with care. Awesome drinks - coffee, lemonades or alcoholic beverages. Nicely designed location too with covered outdoor seating.

Psomi is an excellent Greek restaurant in Tampa, perfect for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with amazing breads, Greek specialties, and great coffee. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the service is friendly and attentive. Please note they only serve breakfast and lunch/brunch, but everything is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality Mediterranean brunch spot in Tampa.

New to Tampa , we were looking for something healthy but also tasty. This was absolutely amazing . Quick service & the food was fresh . They have a little side market with home decor and fresh items from their kitchen ! If you love Greek food I highly recommend coming to this place.

I went for brunch during the week, and it wasn’t full. It was easy to make a reservation, and there were plenty of tables available. The atmosphere was great, not loud, and the space was very clean. The food was delicious! We ordered a spanakopita strata with caramelized onions and gyro pork added, and we also got the French toast (I know, it’s not a Greek dish, but it was very good!). The only thing I didn’t like was that parking was difficult. But they do offer valet parking for $5.

Psomi is my favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant in Tampa! The service is always top notch! It’s busy so definitely recommend getting a reservation for any weekend plans. Breakfast and lunch — sweet and savory — options are amazing! Favorites include the French toast which is uniquely custard-filled and generous portion. The avocado Psomi highlights the amazing bread. Love the loukamades and bread basket for the table to start! Baklava latte syrup is just superb — you can’t go wrong! I also recently tried the arni and chicken souvlaki lunch items which were 10/10. Fresh, locally sourced, and consistently the highest quality!

A beautifully made elegant restaurant that anyone could appreciate. From the service to the delicious food I definitely recommend that everyone give it a try if you're looking for something for anytime of the day meal or just to sit and have drinks on the outdoor beautifully designed patio with a gorgeous fire place to sit by. This one will have repeat visits. We ate breakfast our 1st time and enjoyed it from yhe latte to the green cuisines you have to try to truly appreciate fresh and healthy meals they have on their menus.

Parking is a nightmare unless you valet. I circled for quite some time and finally found parking on the street and walked a short distance. There's a lot of traffic on Howard but there's a crossing light for crossing the street. Once I entered, it was very busy, but my wait for seating was short. I ordered at the counter and self seated across on the patio, for faster service. Once I ordered my food arrived quickly. This was a quick stop for the French toast/thick bacon($35) which was ok. I would like to return for lunch to try a greek option.

I
Irene

Try a litte bit if everything and ofcourse don't forget the bread basket, after all it's named "Bread". Don't skip the cocktails they are also perfectly poured. The crumble cake baklava is amazing for dessert. There is a nice sized area with outdoor seating and it is beautifully decorated inside and out. You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite spots. The French toast: it’s the most expensive French toast you’ll buy, but it’s the best!! My kids love coming here with me too good food and good atmosphere. Staff always in a good mood. Make a reservation!

I’ve wanted to try this since it opened, thankful we finally did. The food is fresh, light, locally sourced, no seed oils, high quality and made with love. Our party of 4 went on Sunday for brunch, highly recommend making reservations as it was packed. We sat outside which was staged w/ lovely flowers, stone pillars and energetic vibe. We shared two appetizers, the zucchini fritters were incredibly delicious, a blend of onions and feta. Next up we enjoyed the saganaki wrapped in phyllo dough so it was crispy yet gooey and warm inside topped with/ sesame seeds and honey, perfect honestly. Two friends got egg dishes which were massive, they enjoyed. My husband ordered the BLTA, house made thick cut bacon was the star of dish, along w/ the house made vinegar pickles, yum. I’d definitely buy a jar to go if they sold them. My meal was a tender, smoky chicken souvlaki served w/ a side dish, I chose potato salad and it was sitting in Greek dressing, soooo good. Lastly, each coupe shared a baklava coffee cake and yes it was moist! I highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!

We were seated on time for our brunch reservation and valet was available on site for $5. The vibe of the restaurant is so cute and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They have a full liquor and espresso bar. They were extremely busy and I believe may have been short staffed, as there was a delay getting the coffee/espresso to the table, which came out the same time as our food. I definitely recommend the French toast and the avocado psomi. Overall, love the place and happy they are “seed oil free”. Everything is fresh and made in house, just wish the front-of-house staff had more backup, especially on the weekends.

It was such a lovely place for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and have ample seating both indoors and covered outdoor patio. We had some small plates which were fantastic. Service was great even though it was busy. They also had a lot of drink options as well as baked goods that were amazing. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Psomi is a beautifully vibrant, sophisticated, and a Modern daytime eatery and Greek bakery that feels welcoming regardless if sitting inside or outside on the front or back garden terraces. They serve breakfast as well as lunch from their creative Mediterranean menu which emphasizes local ingredients which are fresh and tasty. The Greek Salads are delicious, and so are their feta-layered sandwiches and spanakopta. All the bread and pastries are baked on site. Ask for them to make you a fresh hot pot of coffee, or drip coffee to go with one of their baked goods.

We went for lunch and the experience was great. Being there for the first time I got a little bit confused about the entrance. However, I found a parking behind the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and explained the menu. The chicken orzo soup was delicious. Food portions are great.

K

Initially, parking was difficult. There’s a small lot and I saw a sign for valet. We ended up street parking a little ways down. The inside is very nicely decorated. It can get quite loud and I found myself having to raise my voice to be heard across the table (we were a party of 2). Our waiter was great at explaining the concept of the restaurant and the freshness of the ingredients. The food was delicious! We enjoyed everything we ordered. There are only 2 single use restrooms for the whole restaurant, so most of the time there was a line.

O
OSHENT SIANO

No idea why this place is always packed. The food is bland, not real Greek flavor at all. The tzatziki is weak and barely on the wrap, you’ll have to ask for more. The only win? The Greek beer. But even then, grab one from the back of the fridge if you want it cold. Feels like one of those overhyped Instagram spots that looks good online but totally flops in real life.

We were super excited about this spot! Have heard great things. Honestly I was pretty disappointed in our experience. Psomi is very expensive. We are totally cool with that- but with the price tag- we expect stellar service. We arrived for our reservation on the patio and were asked if inside was okay. I let the hostess know we booked for outside and she apologized for the mix up. No big deal! But again- for the price tag- I pay attention for details. It’s allll in the details. We just got married on Friday and are on our honeymoon- which I noted in the reservation. This wasn’t mentioned once. At the end of the meal, they wished me a happy birthday? lol. We laughed it off. We got a coffee cake that was truly the portion size for a toddler- and nothing to write home about. Let’s start from the top. Ordered the matcha with honey. They forgot the honey - I should’ve said something but I figured eh- I don’t need the extra sugar lol. 12$ for matcha is a crime- and it was pretty solid. Just a really small portion and no honey. We got the trio of dips. Fresh, but again- nothing spectacular. We ordered gyros. The pita bread was the winner here- clearly so fresh. The lamb was well cooked and well seasoned. The fries my husband got were soggy- and my side “salad” was just odd. I love love a lightly dressed salad- not sure if there was a mix up in the window but it came out with no dressing. It was just a side of greens with nothing on it The meal was $100. We got a trio drip, a coffee and a matcha, and gyros. I wouldn’t be writing this review if I didn’t feel lowkey robbed by that price. Truly- just alright! We likely won’t be back but I wouldn’t let it stop you from trying the place. We’ve heard great things- but yeah this wasn’t it lol.

Psomi is a very popular award winning Greek inspired restaurant serving Greek and American cuisine. On this morning I had the Americanii breakfast with a Matcha latte. My husband had the pork gyro with fries. The breakfast was good. It was eggs and a croissant with bacon. The bacon was not crispy, more chewy in texture and was not my cup of tea. My husband’s Gyro was ok. It tasted good, but the meat was drier than expected. Sauce was good. My husband said the fries were better than the Gyro and the homemade ketchup was excellent. The standout for me was the matcha. Made with ceremonial Matcha it tasted great and with the Greek honey, made it a special treat. Was it worth $12? No. The meal was fine and the atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent. However, with so many places in town with better Gyros and breakfast food, I really didn’t see paying $70 for lunch. Glad we can say we went, but likely won’t return.

We went for Sunday brunch and sat inside. Our server was barely pleasant and behaved rushed and distracted; there were long pauses between taking orders, drinks and food. The noise level was deafening, there were noise panels on the ceilings, but were not effective. We had to speak loudly to hear each other and we were at a small table for two. The temperature in the dining room was warm, floor to ceiling glass windows on both sides. There were so many flies inside, servers constantly opening doors to wait on patio tables (two patios, one in front and one in back). We spent our entire meal shooing flies from our food. GROSS! They should be required to have a fan to blow out as door opens. Makes you wonder what their kitchen is like. Food and cocktails were not exceptional nor great, they were mediocre, and they were out of signature items like brunch pastry basket. The only decent item was the cappuccino. Pricing for quality wasn’t great either. We won’t be returning.

I want to preface this by saying I have never left a restaurant review in my life. I generally give businesses a lot of grace because bad service, food delays, or off days happen. I will also update my review if changes are made and I'm not just going to leave 1 star to leave 1 star. That said, I have been to Psomi 4 times and every single visit has been deeply disappointing. To the point where I am now leaving my first review ever. I do want to preface, I am holding Psomi to a higher standard because of how they position themselves as a brand and the pricing (for example, a small eight ounce cup of tangerine juice costs $10 before tax and tip). On all four visits, at least half of our table’s food arrived lukewarm or cold. On all four visits, the portion sizes were shockingly small. On all four visits, there were upcharges added to the bill without the servers mentioning them once. One example. My fiancé ordered avocado toast which comes with tomatoes on it. I truly wish I had taken a photo. There were one and a half cherry tomatoes on the entire dish. It looked like a mistake. We mentioned it and were told more tomatoes would be brought out. They were. And then we were charged for them. On a second visit, today actually, two people at our table ordered chicken souvlaki pitas. You can see in the photo that each pita contained roughly one and a half fries. Not a garnish. Not fallen out. That was the total. Both pitas were identical. The same pattern as the tomatoes. It did not feel accidental. When we said this should not have happened to the waiter, we were brought a very small side of fries that were soaking wet and cold. On top of that we went for my fiancé's birthday today. I had a note written in the reservation, we even brought a balloon. This may be small, but not one person said Happy Birthday to her, it wasn't acknowledged at all. We didn't even expect a free item, but like nothing at all, not even words, made it feel really un-special. On another visit, my mother ordered a breakfast item and asked if she could get bread on the side. The server did not mention a cost. My mother herself acknowledged she assumed it would be extra. The bread arrived. It was half of a single slice. The charge was something like $7. I do not know how else to say this. It feels dishonest. The space is beautiful, the vibe is great, and the food itself is fine. But the portioning, the silent upcharges, and the consistency of these issues make it feel intentional rather than careless. For context, the souvlaki pita shown in the photo, with roughly one and a half fries, a paper thin slice of tomato cut in half, and very little chicken, was $22. I genuinely hope ownership looks at how staff are trained and how portions and pricing are handled, because this could be a great place. Right now, the experience does not match the cost or the expectations being set.

I came here for brunch in the afternoon and was thoroughly disappointed by the experience. While the atmosphere is great and the server was amazing, the food was beyond disappointing. The dips were tiny ( I mean the size of a saucer) and generic, lacking flavor while the "deconstructed" souvlaki was plain at best, with portions that could not feed one person. What was especially disappointing was we had two desserts that were flavorless and stale- literally, I cannot understand how something with sugar can taste so bad. Maybe it was an off day or because we came towards the end of the day, but a great environment could not make up for lackluster food and definitely there is better Greek food in Tampa elsewhere.
