Have always loved Pach's Place & now that they have moved from the cramped Bay to Bay location (of over 30 years history) to the venerable Tahitian Inn, I think I love it even more. The atmosphere is much better than the old Pach's and the food is just as good & reasonably priced. Today I had a Tampa Deviled Crab & Have Cuban sandwich combo. All good... Stop in to this hidden gem for great service, big breakfasts and nice indoor or outdoor seating. Not your average hotel lobby diner... By a long shot!
Always loved Pach’s. When it was Al Pach’s Place & now with Kathy and her adorable Mom. The menu is perfect & from Owner’s to the regulars makes it a perfect place. I know Dad is smiling.
This place is amazing. Just ate there for the first time and I am so impressed. The food was delicious (biggest omelet I have ever gotten, and with 2 sides for 14 bucks? Ok girl why not) the restaurant itself is adorable, not including all the Christmas decorations that clearly took a good amount of time to put up, and our server Lenin was friendly and accommodating. You can tell that there is a lot of love that goes into this place
Best breakfast place I have ever been to. the potatoes were so fresh and lightly seasoned, the coffee chefs kiss, the orange juice is freshly squeezed upon ordering, I got the European skillet one morning and the pancakes the next. one pancake is plenty the things are huge and fluffy. very good and the skillet I ate of off three times it was a great portion. look no further if your looking to try some fresh home cooking this is definitely a place I would drive two hours from my house just to eat breakfast.
I'll be straight up, I love Mexican food. This place is over the top good. They have light chips, spicy salsa and fantastic queso. The enchiladas, quesadilla and tacos were great. I will definitely put it on the list to come back to. Visit if you can.
I come here occasionally with my mom, always great. Top notch food, amazing service, clean and open, and always a surprisingly short wait considering how high quality the place is. Kristina was our server today as well as a few other visits in the past and she has been consistently great.
Food and service are excellent. Very clean and high quality
Top rate diner! What a cool piece of Tampa this diner offers! Located in the back of the historic Tahitian Hotel, it’s owned by Kathy who will always welcome you and make sure your experience is great! The place is clean, well-loved by regulars, and staffed by enjoyable servers. The food is good. Classic diner food with some all-day breakfasts.
Things I like most about Pachs Place 1. The bacon, eggs, hash browns and coffee. Cooked well and delicious! 2. The Polish lady waitress. She's the best! 3. The owner's mother. A sweet lady who is always smiling and makes people feel welcome. 4. The Koi pond. Great atmosphere! What more could you ask for in a restaurant?
Life long Pach's diner here. Those of us that come here regularly are coming here for the social dopamine it produces. Seeing old friends and neighbors, local celebrities, city council members, judges and old teachers. The food is great American diner fare, mixed with a family that has been running it for decades. We come to see each other in a comfortable hotel restaurant scene with indoor, counter and patio dining. The food is great, the company is questionable and we love it that way! Breakfast is great and lunch is also really, really good :)
Cathy, Mary, Christina, Lenny & the staff are great, friendly, my orders come out correct, the daily special are delicious, the hamburgers are Awesome!!!!
I enjoy going to the restaurant every morning for the camaraderie with my friends as well as the good food.Seeing Cathy and her staff every day starts my morning off.
The food is great and the employees and staff are amazing very friendly people makes you feel right at home
Wow what a great experience!! Good food, service and atmosphere. Look forward to going back!
One of our favorite breakfast or brunch spots in South Tampa. Great food, great service, and a really neat crowd of regulars that enjoy the place as much as we do.
2023 update. Oh lord it's still so delicious. They have a combination to meet any hankering along with sangria's and bloody Mary's. You can also bring your furry friends to the patio or catch up on the latest infomercials at the bar, lol. Loved the sunrise sangria on the latest visit. Previous review: Exactly what we were looking for: great food at great prices. The belgian waffle and cafe con leche were spectacular, as was the deviled crab and eggs benedict.
Very nice place. I was skeptic at first but definitely cannot judge a book by its cover. For my keto lovers, get the western omelette with the jumbo sausage added to it. My new definitely go to spot when in town.
Stopped by today to get some breakfast. Seemed like quite a few customers were regulars here which is a good thing. The staff is super nice and my hash with poached eggs and sides was very good. Just hanging out in South Tampa this morning and it was a great find. It's on the side of the Inn, a bit hidden from the main road if you are looking for it
We have eaten at Pach’s since the early ‘80s at their original location on the first floor of the office building. The new location is more modern and has a nice outdoor seating area. The quality of the food is just as good as it was the first time we found Pach’s. And the original owner is still there seating guests and at the register. Today, we order the Corned Beef Omelet and the Veggie Skillet with poached eggs. Both were cooked perfectly. And the service is is top notch. Although they moved to a new location in The Tahitian Inn Hotel on Dale Mabry, the vibe is still going strong. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch or lunch…
Great service! Make sure to get there early for a seat. We got the crepes and skillet. The food was great and huge portions!
Wow! I ate like a king, and for such a reasonable price! Crab omlette, hashbrowns, pancakes, coffee, and an orange juice - all for $18. There was also no wait, and I visited at noon on a Sunday. The restaurant is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. The staff is kind. Highly recommended!
Great place! They have great Bloody Maries! I had biscuits and gravy with over medium eggs and I side of hash browns. Everything was cooked to order. The staff was friendly and our food came out quick.

This is the best breakfast spot in Tampa. Really well run place, fast clean and fair priced. HIGHLY recommend Pachs Place
Food was great service was beyond excellent and the atmosphere is very inviting definitely will be going back try the Greek salad and cheese blintzes from scratch
This is a wonderful restaurant inside a small motel. Food is always good. Our Mother of 96 years young loves their blueberry waffles!! We had eggs, potatoes and grots. We sat outside by the waterfall. Our waitress was so nice!! We had a great experience!!!
Went to Pach’s’s Place restaurant Sunday brunch. What a nice experience!!! It was a little busy because we went right as Church was letting out. But Tristan the host was very polite and accommodating. Even though it was busy he was able to get us seated quickly. They had a wide variety of delicious food on the menu. I had home made biscuits and gravy, one of our party ordered the Montecristo sandwich, they even offer real maple syrup for your pancakes! The patio area is pet friendly! If you’re in the area I would definitely try Pachs Place!!! ❤️

They've eliminated the Monte cristo sandwich, but the burger was a good substitute.
This restaurant is a delightful hidden gem worth discovering. It boasts an impressive array of breakfast offerings, and my choice of the country fried steak with grits proved to be an excellent decision. The flavors transported me back to the culinary experiences I enjoyed in Alabama. What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. Their attentiveness and genuine care for the well-being of customers were readily evident, enhancing the overall dining experience.
My chicken and waffles were pretty good and the home fries were tasty as well. We did wait quite a while for drinks and our food but it was worth the wait. The prices are very fair too!
Pach's Place is a Tampa staple opened at it's NEW location at the Tahitian Inn. The food and personality made the smooth transition in February to their new location without missing a beat. This is an old school restaurant with all the great foods you would expect and lots of conversations going on making it a bit noisy but still enjoyable. The crowd scans the age range as well from millenials to the greatest generation.
Cool breakfast restaurant in the Tahitian Inn Hotel on Dale Mabry in Tampa. Has a nice comfortable neighborhood diner feel to it with a nice variety of breakfast offerings. We ordered the Eggs Florentine, one with hashbrowns and one with home fries. The meals arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and were delivered with a smile. They were prepared perfectly. Mary took great care of us. Everyone was really friendly. If you’re looking for good food at reasonable prices, this is a pretty great place to experience!
This breakfast/lunch cafe is located behind the lobby of the Tahitian Hotel. It seems to be popular with the locals. We went on a Sunday morning and there was a waiting line for indoor seating. We sat in the outdoor patio, which was lovely and cool. The food was as I expected: plentiful, filling, and pretty good. I had the eggs Benedict and grits. The soft-poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the Canadian bacon thick and juicy. The hollandaise sauce was too bland for my taste (I like more lemon). My wife had the fruit bowl, which was large with a variety of fruit, some of which was yummy and some of which had the tastelessness typical of winter fruit.
I had the french toast breakfast and it was pretty good. I also got a cuban toast go to have later. Before leaving I tried the fries and they were just OK but the sandwich was very good. The food was really good and the coffee was decent. I would come again, but I’m not in the area often and would rather try somewhere new next time.
Pach's Place lived up to its reputation for tasty eats and good service. I had the yummy Patty Melt with caramelized onions and a side of delicious potato salad.
Local small business restaurant operating out of the Tahitian Inn on Dale Mabry. This location is much nicer than the original with the same great menu offering very reasonable prices. I ordered the steak (medium rare) and eggs (two over easy) breakfast with home fries (added onions) with wheat toast and a chocolate milk. (Note: They do not season the steak so be sure to sure to ask if desired.) Also ordered the a breakfast sandwich (on cuban bread) with hash browns and a coffee. Staff is very friendly and would definitely recommend if in the area.
This is in the Tahitian Hotel. This is old school florida .The food is always amazing and the service is fantastic. They really make you feel at home here. They are only open until 2 so get there early and enjoy

Food was actually pretty good, if not a smidge pricey. Service was spotty...they seemed understaffed. When I paid, the server disappeared with my card for payment for an uncomfortably long time. The dining area was extremely loud...possibly due to all the hard surfaces. Headache inducing.
Not sure how I feel about this place. The #4 omelette I got was good it was steak/bacon/onions/cheese. Really just a egg pancake which honestly probably better than omelette. But where I had issues were the pancakes weren't very good but they are on par with all the other breakfast places that serve them. I got the feeling this is a hidden gem maybe? And us being outsiders didn't get the same treatment as the "regulars". I say that because two tables sat after us, I presumed after us and got there food before us. Nearly getting there to go meal after finishing eating before we got half way through our breakfast. Maybe something went wrong with our food and they didn't tell us, I'm not sure so I can only be left to guess why everyone got their food before us. Also another thing that I took notice of is the lack of attention we got. The waitress asked how we were doing only once our entire time there. And outside of her stopping by with a coffee pot already in hand and giving my wife some as she walked by that was it. But she was very quick to give us the check up on me asking for a second mimosa. Can't say I'll return, but do recommend the omelettes.
Thé breakfast was decent nothing beyond the ordinary. I got the pancake breakfast; came with two pancakes egg and a meat. I got turkey bacon and a side of home fries. Family oriented and pretty busy on the weekends. That have out door seating

Party of 5 placed breakfast order to a young waitress who prided herself on taking our orders sans notepad. We asked her about this and she assured us that her memory would be accurate. Then our meals came, 42 minutes later, and to her credit she got 3 out of our 5 orders correct. Breakfast potatoes came out way undercooked and were sent back. Potatoes returned so salty they were inedible. Bacon was burned and the waitress never remembered to bring out the rest of my friend's order. Then she put everything on 1 check after we requested 2 separate checks. First time we had poor service we chalked it up to a bad day, but second time too close to the first is a red flag. We are sad b/c this is our Sunday go to restaurant. Pancake House, here we come.

Long time customers- Waitstaff is nice, food is breakfast fare. Prices are OK. Service and food are declining- waited an hour to be served, food was cold. Biscuits were wet - guess just thawed in microwave. I
Stayed at the hotel, which was super nice. Thought it would be hugely convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel for breakfast. The host, Tristan, was rude, so we left without eating there.
Nothing tastes good or feels good when the service people are rude and then laugh about being rude to you. When I said I wasn't coming back, she told me not to come back.
I have heard all of the hype and good reviews for Pach’s Place for years. Decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I have to report that this was one of the most disappointing meals my son and I have had anywhere.
