I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cecconi's Miami in Soho Beach House! The atmosphere was truly enchanting, with a perfect blend of elegance and relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, offering warm smiles and impeccable service throughout my visit. Whether it was friendly chat or ensuring my dining preferences were met, their friendliness and attentiveness stood out. The outdoor seating area added an extra layer of charm, providing a lovely view while enjoying the delectable cuisine. Cecconi's Miami is a gem where exceptional atmosphere and a friendly team combine to create an unforgettable dining experience. We came early, at about 8am and it was not too busy but at around 9am it started to pick up so I think 8am - 9am was just right. Five stars all the way!
Best meal in South Beach on our vacation. Went back a second time for last meal of stay. Atmosphere was fun and lively. Service was impressive and well orchestrated in tiny space. I have to figure out the dressing recipe for the butter salad, amazing. Needed to come back for the rigatoni bolognese - was thinking of it all weekend. Happy!
I had a fantastic dinner at Cecconi’s tonight! The ambience here is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for date night. Steffano & Alex were wonderful. Alex was extremely attentive and friendly. The food here is delicious. We got to try quite a bit of things and the highlights for us were the meatballs, whipped ricotta and Agnolotti del plin. The agnolotti was phenomenal - I highly recommend it. Their tres leches was also a great way to end the night. We will be back for sure!
Our group couldn’t have been happier with our experience here! They did an incredible job accommodating our large party. Even printing custom menus to help our bride feel so special. I’d dined at Cecconi’s in Amsterdam and Miami lived up to the hype. All the food was delicious, cocktails were refreshing & our server was fantastic! Highly Recommend; tuna tartare, burrata, watermelon salad, the rib ravioli, (2 orders) of the truffle agnolotti & the assorted dessert petit fours was so perfect for a large group!
Exquisite food and superb service. All the food was served in no time, our water was replenished as soon as we ran out, and the waiters were always attentive. The baked gnocchi entree was everything I hoped it would be, and the gemelli kale pasta was a great plant based option that was still flavorful and exotic. The place was also captivating, with an outdoor seating area covered in lit-up vegetation.
Excellent service , food and atmosphere We had to get best service and food, enjoyed our time We had a baby with us so they take cared if quite place and turned off the vent so baby will not get cold Server have explained all menu and suggested best food to enjoy Loved this place, will be back for sure
Fantastic dinner , ambiance is absolutely gorgeous Very nice staff Fine Italian cuisine highly recommend ! definitely coming back !
Food was very good! Service was excellent. I enjoyed the atmosphere very laid back. The food is more expensive than I normally pay but it was worth it forthe atmosphere and great service.
Best key lime pie on earth!!! The lime zest on top made the difference, it was so fragrant. Great service and even a spontaneous drop in for lunch was possible. Loved the overall experience and beautifully curated outdoor area!
This restaurant is absolutely stunning! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was great! Me and my friends had a wonderful time, relaxing during dinner! Hopefully we can come back in again soon!
While visiting Miami in in the Fall of 2024, we were looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the Fontainebleau Hotel. Cecconi's came highly recommended. The atmosphere is very classy, the staff is very polite and friendly and the menu had a lot of great options. The food came out quickly and everything we ordered exceed our expectations. The Spaghetti Lobster was a little on the fishy side so maybe a dash of lemon would be a good addition to this option. The Buffalo Pizza was excellent and so was the Rigatoni. I must also mention the food presentation was spot on. The beer selection was limited but that is likely to be expected at an upscale Italian restaurant. PROS - Elegant and upscale atmosphere - Large menu - Great food - Polite and friendly staff CONS - Limited beer selection
Classic American Italian food in a very classy environment. Some places are famous for a reason.
We had an excellent breakfast at Cecconi's in Miami! The servers were outstanding, accommodating all our requests with a smile. The atmosphere was delightful, and the variety of food choices was impressive. The fruit was exceptionally fresh, contributing to an overall outstanding experience. Highly recommend for a top-notch dining experience!
Loved the bologna pasta! great Job to the kitchen staff! And the Pizza was amazing. The pasta Was truly Tasty to whoever is reading this review I really recommend it if you really love pasta. The Salami Pizza with mushroom was delightful and Keep in mind Is not just an outside pizza its made Italian style. The Croquettes were incredible delicious no words. Ending our Night with an Excellent Pastry Tiramisu. Our waiter was Extremely Nice thank you for always keeping the energy you provide to each Customer I hope the restaurant sees you for the great work you do! P’s “Sannia” Thank you!
Absolutely amazing! This has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Miami and London. The food is delicious, and both the service and ambiance are top-notch. We can't wait to come back more often, especially to try their brunch!
We had our Christmas Eve dinner here, and it was truly special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially with the outdoor seating surrounded by trees and twinkling lights—it made the evening even more magical. The food was exceptional; we enjoyed the Branzino with spinach, Risotto Scampi, and Crab Tortellini, all of which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience!
Love love love. We have made it an adventure to visit all the Cecconis. This is the best one by far! Check my reviews for New York and London. Seated outside in the courtyard under the warm breezy night sky. Fans going, staff were wonderful, friendly and recommended great dishes. Lovely ambience for dates and get together for larger groups. The food here was well seasoned and not salty like other Cecconis. Meatballs were delicious, beet root salad delicious and fruity fresh. Had rose champagne and a negroni.
Came here for my girlfriends friends birthday and had a great time! Staff was super great and attentive and very accommodating for our needs. Every bit of thr food we has was amazing, We got 2 filet mignon's medium rare with the mushroom sauce and was absolutely incredible, seriously probly the best I've had. The calamari we all shard was great along with the bread. Wine wasn't bad either and had a decent selection. The atmosphere and overall scenery was very high end and fancy. Prices are high haha Was about like 280$ for me and my girlfriend and we covered a few things that we shared just to be nice. Overall amazing experience and a treat for everyone.
Definitely can't beat Cecconi's as a consistent solid place to have great Italian. Service is always excellent, food is consistent each time and has great ambiance. This time we kept it simple and had the Dover sole, Aged Filet, meatball app, croquettas, kids Mac-n - cheese and dessert. All were cooked to perfection. We did notice the meatball app was smaller as well as the sole than last visit. I been fishing and buying fish from local purveyora and never understand why Dover sole is this expensive. $84 for probably was a 2. 5 lbs whole. They have Branzino filet for half that, but as an avid fisherman, branzino is way over hyped. Definitely and product of social proofing. Suprised by the kids Mac because it was huge and amazing see pictures. If you go, I don't recommend valet unless you don't mind waiting up to 30min+to get your car back. We usually just park on a side street spot and never more than a 10min walk. But then again this wasn't a first date or similar. Prices are typical and expect to spend 100+ with drinks per. But you can easily order just a main course and spend alot less. However, when going out to a place you know is good don't set limitations on which dish otherwise you set yourself up for being over critical about the experience.
AS GOOD AS IT CAN GET!! Cecconi's at SoHo in South Beach is a culinary gem that I simply can't get enough of. With excellent service and consistently outstanding food, this spot has become my go-to place every time I'm in the area. I've been a regular for years, and each visit confirms why Cecconi's remains at the top of my list. Their weekend buffets are the absolute icing on the cake - for just $85, you're treated to unlimited oysters, tuna, and an array of fresh seafood items that leave you craving more. The quality and freshness of the seafood are remarkable, making the experience not only delicious but also a great value. I've also sampled the menu at their upstairs bar and beachside setting, and the food is equally impressive wherever you go. The burger and margarita pizzas are absolute must-haves, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a lavish dining experience, Cecconi's at SoHo delivers every time. It's a true South Beach treasure that promises both exceptional taste and a memorable atmosphere. I highly recommend giving it a try. Every visit leaves me truly eager for the next, and I always leave grinning.
Great service and ambiance! The Burrata and artichoke were amazing! We ordered the truffle pasta but it had also meat combined and we didnt like it much..the eggplant parmigiana was great! Try the profiteroles for dessert 🥂
Italian restaurant with very good seasoning and presentation. The service on this occasion, unlike other times, did not stand out. The waiter was a little rude. Despite the above, we enjoyed the dinner very much. The decoration and atmosphere is very romantic! I highly recommend it!!
Nice ambiance and decent food. Can be hard to get a table at times but I particularly like the vibe for lunch. Pizzas and pastas and entrees. Clearly labeled plant based options. Good mid/upscale spot with vegan options.
Cecconi’s Miami is an absolute delight! The moment you step in, you’re greeted by a charming ambiance that sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure every need is met with a warm smile. The food is delicious, bursting with authentic Italian flavors that transport you straight to Italy. Every dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, is crafted with care and attention to detail. Cecconi’s Miami is a great spot for date night, offering a romantic and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a special evening. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends, Cecconi’s Miami is the perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommended!
Made a reservation here for my 4-year anniversary with my boyfriend and I had a great experience! The patio is very romantic with fairy lights and lanterns. We shared the calamari, buffalo cheese pizza, and the agnolotti truffle pasta. Our server was very attentive, kind, and definitely made the special occasion feel more special. The food came out surprisingly quickly and everything was delicious!
Great experience for day or night. I went on my last vacation, and the service was great, and the drinks and food were amazing. Breakfast is wonderful! Highly recommend! 🙂
This is one of my favorite places on Miami Beach, both as a visitor and former resident of Miami. It is an elegant classic place to dine with delicious food. But I believe it is the level of service by the staff that makes this place head and shoulders above the rest. I love the ambiance. I love the food and wine options. And I appreciate the calibre of the staff. At the bar, Kostas and MJ (who have both been here for more than a decade) make this place extra special by making patrons feel extra special. My No. 1 place in all of Miami!
Hard to beat this atmosphere! The trees, the lights, the foliage! Just a gorgeous place to share a meal. The service is also top notch. Water and wine glasses are never empty, the waiters are informative and attentive, and the bussers move fast to make sure your table is clean at all times. On top of all that, the food is delectable. Fine Italians cuisine that could make yo momma shed a tear of joy. Get to this joint ASAP
Great dinner and evening on the patio! They have fans and the roof closes if it rains. The food was amazing and our group of 5 all enjoyed our meals! Make sure you make a reservation to get a table! The pizza / pasta are really great and are more traditional Italian style.
We arrived about an hour before our reservation, so we chose to sit at the bar….. BEST DECISION EVER. During mid afternoon, the bar tenders weren’t super slammed and provided top notch conversation about the area. Top that with a delicious serving of beef tartare and grilled octopus, and spectacular cocktails… We were on cloud 9. Highly recommend!
Beautiful patio dining with soft lights and a very calm vibe. The pasta dishes are surprisingly good for a trendy Miami spot, especially the truffle pasta which is creamy and rich. Perfect for a relaxed dinner away from the noise.
This place exceeds expectations! Beautiful atmosphere with trees and lights and not too loud, excellent service with Guillarmo our magnificent waiter. Our food was great! I had the pasta Bolognase which was rich and flavorful and my wife had the eggplant parmesian which had a deep lovely flavor. I think both dishes were the best we have ever had. Its hard to believe but as a foodie im so impressed! Even the salad and bread were exceptional. I will be back!!!!
Reservations are required. Sitting in the garden was very pleasant. I tried the artichokes, yes, the carpaccio, the spaghetti with lobster, and the agnolotti. Everything was delicious, and the food was served quickly.
Beautiful restaurant! Service was a bit slow.. we ordered meatballs and kale salad for appetizer and they were delicious! For dinner we got white truffle pizza and pasta, they were ok, they needed more flavor! Dessert was amazing! Teramisu and ice cream puff! Sooo good!
We waited 1 hour for our table. Luckily, Jerry the bartender looked after us and gave us couple of cocktails free of charge. Without this sweet gesture I would have given 3 stars. The maître d' (Sisi) is however useless. Told us to wait at the bar. And after 1 hour, when Jerry followed up with her for us, she told him that ***I need to go to speak to her***. What kind of service is this?! Food was very good though.
The one dish that stuck out was the salad with mangoes and kale. It was a wonderful marriage of greens with delicious ripe mangoes. The tuna tartar was good, the pasta was just ok, the steak was a tad tough and the key lime could easily have been bought. It’s a delightful restaurant with a roof that retracts. The wait staff was excellent.
Grabbed dinner here at the end of a trip and it was excellent. Trying to find a spot that offers a good vegan meal alongside quality non-vegan food is a real challenge, but there were enough options on this menu that it seemed like a good fit. The burrata pictured is not vegan, obviously, but it was too pretty not to photograph. I was told it was delicious, and the heirloom tomatoes it was served with were full of flavor. I ordered the kale pesto with truffle oil and it was incredible. The other pasta dish was said to be good as well. The prices are a little steep, but not unreasonable for the quality and the area. The restaurant itself is both on the patio outside the lobby as well as inside the lobby itself, which wasn't uncomfortable, but did add a weird atmosphere as there were people constantly coming and going from the elevator bay behind our table. 5 stars for the food and service, but 4 for atmosphere. We didn't want to wait for an outside table, but if you can get reservations or have the option, that is probably the better way to go.
Table booked for 7:30pm, arrived at 7:35pm, was asked to sit at the bar by Ceci the maitre d. We duly sat at the bar and were looked after by Jerry, who was clearly well liked by many regulars and was attentive and friendly. After an hour he went to check with Ceci about our table, seeing we were getting a bit frustrated. He came back and suggested we speak with her personally. It's the role of the maitre d to ensure tables are finished in their alloted time, in the UK it's common for a waiter to approach the table and say "we need this table back in 10mins for our customers who are waiting". This doesn't seem to happen here. It's not polite to make a customer wait 1 hr for the table. Ceci looked chaotic and not in control of the restaurant. Not good enough for the Cecconi brand (which I visit regularly in London). Thankfully Jerry and our server were excellent and the food was good. I'd return for them, but ensure I wasn't hungry at my table booking time because waiting an hour (as though that's just normal thing) isnt good enough.
Pretty solid- it is a beautiful location and i love going to soho bh in general at all the locations. The service was solid but the servers moved a bit more slowly than i would have liked, i enjoyed my breakfast. The ambiance is very nice, beautiful trees. I would not come here again though lol for the breakfast. Possibly i would try the dinner as it was more focused on the actual italian dishes.
The first contact with the staff of the place is cold. She seems haughty and unwelcoming telling us that we had arrived too early. (10 minutes early). Beautiful place, the tables set up in a garden with a fairly friendly atmosphere. The food is good at best with little finesse. I expected the pasta to be aldente but unfortunately overcooked or even mushy. In short, it's okay but I won't go back. -=TnT=- March 6th 2025
Service was bad . Wine didn’t come to the table almost we were half of the meal . Waitress was inappropriate… first the wine was late … second when we asked for more honey for the appetizer… he said it would be an extra charge ( rude) … when he brought the check he was just standing there … we did not have the time to enjoy our wine with the food . The food was ok … bread came out of the freezer… appetizers were ok and the pasta was good but not very good … I will not recommend it
I made a reservation for 10:15am thinking that the all day menu meant… all day. When in fact, it does not start until 11:30am. I was interested in that menu specifically because honestly, the breakfast menu is not great. Nothing on it seemed special enough that I couldn’t get it for $15 or LESS at a more interesting location, with much better parking. The hostess seemed a bit cold, meaning she was not nice at all. The servers, however, were super kind. I ended up ordering a mimosa and waited until 11:30 for the all day menu… I will tell anyone that asks me that the Rigatoni Bolognese was DELICIOUS, and the bugs flying around were TERRIBLE. One of the many gnats flew into my drink, and the server was super nice to replace it. However, my issue with that is the bugs flying is such an easy fix, or at least can be reduced. There are SO many unscented, safe bug repellents now on the market that can be used. For the price/location (inside Soho House, which is a MEMBERSHIP place) it’s very odd that they just let the bugs roam where people are eating. Overall, I’ll only go back if a friend wants to go, or the bug problem is fixed. Fact: there are about 600 restaurants just in the Miami Beach area alone, so I can do without.
Fairly overrated place. I came here for breakfast on a weekday and got a dish which had scrambled eggs, salmon and GF toast, very basic for the price you pay. They serve juice in bottles and matcha in Soviet style glasses (didn’t get a cup?!?) very low value for the price. I wouldn’t go back, but I chose to go back to another cafe nearby just few blocks away that delivers great breakfast, matcha and many options with great value.
Pretty boring breakfast menu with exorbitant pricing. Coffee/latte options are disappointing. Pretty vibes though
Sincerely do not understand the hype of this place. You pay for the ambiance and the name only. 3/6 dishes ordered were good but that's it just good. Not spectacular. The service was HORRENDOUS. Our server looked like someone just stomped on her cat how pissed off/sad she looked. She was there to only take our order and nothing else. No recommendations, no questions, Nothing. This is where the rating mainly comes from because my husband and I come from hospitality and there was not a hospitable bone located anywhere in the body of this place
My wife and I went to Cecconi today for lunch. Everything was doing well, the food was amazing and the waiter was really kind. By the time we asked for the check and saw the 20% tip over the bill, we asked the waiter to reduce a little bit the tip to 13%, he became another person. He asked us our nationality. The check was high and adding 20% is going to be even more expensive. Anyway, he said that wouldn’t reduce to 13%, and was going to exclude the service. Extremely rude. It was an Italian waiter. We felt so bad in the situation because we didn’t mean not paying tips, we just wanted to reduce it. Why ask your nationality ? What does he have against foreign people ?
I usually love this place. Everytime I go to Miami I go there. BUT Last night I ended my night with chewing gum in my pants. I don't know why people is so disgusting of sticking it to the chair, but also there is responsibility of the restaurant. With the category they have they should pay attention to details. Sadly I realized this when I got home, disgusting experience
We Did reservation to eat Cacio e Pepe as We saw it was in their menu in the webpage and after we sit down and request the plate; it was not available and maybe back to the menu in few weeks. We cancel and left the restaurant. Call before visiting the restaurant if you are going for specific dish. We come for dinner and we asked waiter to recommend best dishes. We ordered Vitello Tonato and Burrata Salad and Eggplant Parmesan. All were not fresh and seemed like have been in fridge for a while. We ordered fish which came fully burnt and we returned and soggy mushy for the pasta which was not tasty. Not the standard for Cecconi’s unfortunately. We paid the whopping 600 USD for 2 people for a complete waste of money. Highly not recommended
Terrible service. Our first order was pizza, and we made a special request due to my allergy. The waitress went away and then came back to say that the pizza station was actually closed — they weren’t even aware of it. We added black truffle for an extra $45, and they put an almost invisible amount. The two dishes we ordered at the same time arrived 25 minutes apart. The salt on our table was finished, and they couldn’t bring a proper salt shaker; in the end, they brought some salt in a small plate. Such presentation and solution are completely unacceptable for a restaurant of this supposed quality. The waitress was also very rude. And on top of such poor service and experience, they add a 20% extra service charge. Overall, a terrible experience.
