Opinions de OLA Restaurant Miami Beach
It was me and my wife's 10 year anniversary. OLA was the perfect choice. Situated in the heart of South beach, we were a bit concerned when sitting outside that it would be a bit loud with the traffic. The way ola is positioned with the hotel, it just seemed like a beautiful outdoor restaurant. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Please do not hesitate to pick this restaurant for any special occasion, as they will treat you like royalty.
The Miami Spice Menu is so worth it! The mini lobster empanada and chicken croqueta is simply delicious!! We enjoyed the Skirt Steak and Ola Spicy Wings! As for the desserts, it was so hard to choose. We loved the Yuca Cake and Sugar Cane Pudding. Absolutely worth the trip to Miami Beach and service was quick!
An extraordinary experience. Service was completely first class. The food was one of the best meals we have had. We are foodies and rarely gush about our experiences. This was different. Maybe a top 100 restaurants in the world kind of experience. Will fly back just to visit here again.
With it being the off season when we went they didn’t have lobster empanadas, but the rest of the food was so good we didn’t mind. The Ola meatballs and the Mixto ceviche were especially delicious. The cocktails were amazing as well.
Pulpo salad is so good here. So as grill mahi mahi sandwich. Cook perfectly. Deconstructed Key lime pie come in separate with egg white and ice cream. You can mix your own proportion. Create the perfect flyovers for your own preference. Salsa music!!!! Love!
Careful when you search for this restaurant's location. It still shows up as their old one and Uber had both options. Luckily Open Table reservation had the correct one. The manager told me they are moving again in a few months, so that should really create a mess. We go here every year we come to Miami. They used to have a very extensive ceviche menu and you could get a sampler plate of a few. There is still a nice choice of ceviche styles and many other delicious starters. I had the short rib empanadas, which were delicious in a trio of sauces, which were a touch spicy. We both had the tuna tartar, me for my entree and my daughter for an appetizer. My daughter ordered the roast cuban pork for dinner, which melted in your mouth and were served over the best, most buttery cooked yuca I've ever tasted. I'm not a big dessert eater, but I like their deconstructed key lime pie. And I will never forget the first time my son ordered the chocolate cigar, which looks just as it sounds and comes with a candy matchbox. We will continue to come back when we visit Miami.
Absolutely fantastic food and service! We stopped in while staying at the adjacent hotel, and really enjoyed our breakfast - so much so that we came back for lunch a few days later! We had the same server each time and he was fantastic! Super comfortable atmosphere! Really recommend the steak and eggs for breakfast too! There are also good gluten-free options!
We found this place online and we are so glad we did, it was superb! The service was very friendly and professional. Our waiter was very good at recommending dishes and helping with any questions we had regarding the menu. Our starters, mains and dessert were all delicious and beautifully presented.
My partner and I dined at Ola on a Friday night. Beautiful venue, from the tiles to the wooden deck patio over looking the canal. Staff was beyond friendly, very welcoming and attentive, from the hostess, bus boys, to the waiter. Shock value is the $ of empanadas, but we knew this going in. $22 for a lobster empanada, thankful the taste lives up to the price. We shared the Cuban pork entree & it was perfection! Mojitos were strong. $207 later we left buzzed, stuffed, and happy !
Absolutely delicious meal! I was recommended this restaurant by a friend, and I’m so happy I listened to them. Make sure you come hungry because there is so much to try! The highlights for me were the squid ink empanada and the chocolate dessert. I’m waiting patiently for this quarantine to end so I can get back and try more dishes.
My friends and I went on vacation to Miami. We want to go to a nice seefood place , we accidentally stumbled upon the OLA restaurant. It is the best place to eat and drink in Miami from drinks to main course and the ceviche is to die for. When we thought we had no room left for desert our server recommend us the flan layered with ice cream wich was the excellent finale of our dinner. All the staff was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was very upscale and prices are very reasonable. We are coming back tonight to try the rest of the menu.
Every single thing we had was delicious. The corn and lobster empanadas were delicate and not greasy; the mixto and hamachi ceviche were light, well seasoned, and balanced; the octopus salad was perfectly grilled; and the rack of lamb, oh my god. Nearly made me cry it was so good. It is crusted with a hazelnut and cocoa crust and was hard to not lick directly off the plate
Fantastic dinner. Looked for a healthy tasty meal. Other reviews were spot on. Creative cuisine starting with the little roll to begin my dining experience. I didn’t think it was really possible to be creative with ceviche but I was very pleasantly surprised. Great service and ambiance. Refreshing change of pace from the local loud restaurants. Looking forward to sharing a meal with my wife.
Some of the best food in Miami, in my opinion. The hamachi ceviche reminded me of creations I’ve eaten at Morimoto and the rock shrimp of food I’ve had at Nobu in NYC. Our server Alejandro was completely honest and steered us well in terms of what types of food we should have and what would and wouldn’t go well together, as well as preventing us from ordering too much food. Definitely ask for him and ask for his opinion!

Food was good. I ordered the tuna which was supposed to be served over goat cheese but I couldn't taste the cheese at all. Tuna itself was well cooked and flavorful. Service was good. The starters were probably the highlight of the meal, empanadas were excellent. Don't ask them to make an Old Fashioned.
Cuban food taken upscale. Terrific food. Meh service. Beautiful venue and we enjoyed seating by the water. The lobster empanada was a culinary experience. The special (Bronzino with calamari, clams and mussels) was a delight. The short rib empanada was also excellent. The stuffed pepper was nice but not amazing.
Ola provides a tranquil setting for a lunch or dinner in Miami Beach. Despite the restaurant being largely vacant on a Friday lunch, the quality of the food met the expectations. I enthusiastically suggest trying the Mexican Ceviche, Mahi Mahi, and the Pollo Criolla. Additionally, the poke bowl dish & nachos received high praise from my companions. The Colombian cheese bread was particularly delicious; I could have easily devoured multiple rolls. The service was excellent, and the ambiance lacked any pretentiousness. Parking could be an issue just like any place in Miami Beach. Nonetheless, for a relaxed lunch in Miami, Ola is a good choice.
Short rib empanada was delicious. Hamachi ceviche was decent. Lamb was interesting. Key lime pie meringue was good but ice cream could’ve been creamier - sorbet a bit tart. Tapioca bread was great. Service is impeccable
Solid menu, the Fire and Ice is a must have. The combination of heat and ice makes this such an incredible dish that I could eat daily for the rest of my life. The lobster empanada is unique, decadent and delicious - the squid ink shell gives it a wonderful flavor that balances the lobster. My only complaint is the wine by the glass menu is not stellar and I was hoping for better selections. Come with friends and enjoy a good bottle with delicious food.

I and my buddy saw an amazing 4.6 overall review, so we tried this restaurant with a high expectation. The taste was decent, however, it was a huge disappointment on their services and preparations. So, you might want to check this before you visit here: 1. Expect a 50 minutes wait on the appetizer and an additional 30 minutes for a main course. 2. Be careful about the fish bone and fish scales, because they do not clean their fish very well. 3. Unlike other reviews said bread was cheesy and delicious, it was no bread served in my table and I ask for a bread, they never bring me any. 4. No water refill until you finish your whole meal. 5. Without talking you, they automatically charge you 18% tips, no matter about their quality of services. 6. It was overpriced when considering their food and service quality, since you are paying about $100 a person.
