Beautiful little restaurant just off of Ocean Drive in South Beach, family-owned and run, literally three generations of the same family are cooking and operating this little gem of a Latin Food Spot!! This was our first meal in Miami, thank you to the staff of Pilar for the great food, we will be back here as our first stop the next time we are in South Beach!

It was served with a creamy homemade seafood sauce. The seafood soup was fabulous. It’s a meal in itself. The carne asada was very tasty it’s served with fried plantain, beans and rice, a small salad, and a slab of cheese that’s been grilled on both sides. Service was great. We were made to feel at home.

Family owned and operated so every meal is basically home-cooked. I loved their flour tortillas, and their breakfast options. Definitely worth checking out.
