A friend and I enjoyed dinner at American Social last Saturday. It was delightful. The atmosphere is so welcoming and it was beautiful sitting by the Miami River with the boats, night lights & sounds and music. Our server was friendly and accommodating. We shared the Artichoke Spinach dish which was yummy! My friend enjoyed the Green Goddess Salmon with mashed sweet potatoes. I had the tasty Chop Salad with grilled chicken. We would definitely like to come back.

We were seated by a fantastic waitress named Katelyn, who was bright, cheerful, and absolutely lovely throughout our visit. We came here for a late night birthday celebration. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and had to wait just a few minutes until they got the table ready for us. This location right next to bridge so the view is WONDERFUL! We tool tons of pics after the meal. The menu has diverse selection, they even had kimchi dish! For a party of 4, I would say it is definitely an affordable and quite luxurious option.However, they do not offer birthday special free desserts. We got the steak chops, salmon and pizza. The steaks were absolutely delicious, I wish they had more chops and the salmon salad balanced our meal very well! Omg the pizza was melt in your mouth good… i miss this pizza. Also great selection on drink options😋

My father and I went to this restaurant while in town to watch the Louisville Cardinals dismantle the Miami hurricanes, LOL! We went to watch Thursday night football and have dinner! The service was great, the bathrooms were very clean, and the atmosphere was like being in a movie. We also had the goat cheese croquettes and ahi tuna avocado toast, and they were the perfect small bites for two! We went here for a birthday brunch for my friend and our waitress Alyssa was the best! She was very attending and was so sweet and kind. She really made sure my friend's birthday brunch was amazing!

I had the pleasure of getting to experience American Social back-to-back nights - NFL Sunday and then the college national championship the next Monday. The staff and especially the manager Jonas and the lovely Scarlet at the front desk, could not have been more accommodating and helpful and wonderful! My friends and I all enjoyed delicious food, superior customer service, and great views from all angles of our important football games! Wonderful and fun crowd too - this is my new go-to place to watch any sporting event!

I came here for a casual dinner with my partner. We had a great time. I absolutely love dinner with a view and this was definitely it. The food and drinks were good, music was pumping and plus there was football on - what more can you ask for on a casual Sunday dinner date. I had a small issue with my grilled octopus being a bit cold and rubbery but the manager was very accommodating with my concern - instead I got the blackened grilled shrimp tacos to replace it which were a hit plus as a courtesy the manager gave it to me on the house. I highly recommend this spot! Will definitely be revisiting!!!

Fun place for brunch in the downtown Miami area. We visited this restaurant for the first time for my husband’s birthday weekend. The food was food as were the drinks and the place was lively for an early afternoon on a Sunday. After going all out to sing happy birthday to someone in another table, it was disappointing they limped in for my husband’s celebration. Other than that, place is a nice place for a couple or group of friends to visit.

You cant get a better spot in miami. Views are spectacular. The food is great. Our server Alyssa was wonderful. Others to recognize are Gilbert and Tony. I highly recommend this restaurant. What a gem.

What a fun place to watch yachts go by all day long across the river. The music was a little loud for our taste, but it was a great atmosphere nonetheless. The booze list was extensive & their Frosé was AMAZING! Our brunch dishes were very good also. Lavin, our female server, was super sweet, attentive & profesional. The fact that they allow cigar smoking on the patio as long as no complains appeals to my friends. I am not a big smoker but my friends are and tend to gravitate to outdoor patios that allow smoking especially when the weather is nice and such is not allowed in our home cities. Even before arriving when speaking to the hostess she was very kind and answered our questions. We had the honor of having Shay as our waiter and she was phenomenal. Their Happy Hour is every day, but I would double check the hours. They seat you as fast as they can or even create a space for you if possible. The managers are great and their service is awesome! I also had my 30th Birthday there and enjoyed it so much! This spot is absolutely one of my favorites for lunch, a fun night out with friends and family dinner.

so the first time I walked into this place we met Ariana, Service was immaculate. She suggested great options, we had 2 mocktails, the lavender and the strawberry which were so good! For appetizer we had the ahí tuna toast which was a 10/10, fresh and just amazing. We also had the hot chicken, which to my surprise it was a like a mini biscuit chicken slider with hot honey, Holly smokes so delicious. As our main dish my nices ordered pizza, it came in fresh and the flavor was very good. We also ordered the steak fried rice solid 9.5/10 and the eggs Benedict also very good 8/10. We finished with the fruity pebble chicken and waffles, omg so so good! Made me smile so big 9.5/10. My only suggestion would be for the chicken BLT, the fired chicken was way too big, I think it would pair better with grilled chicken. Nonetheless our experience was phenomenal, especially because Carlys service was just THAT GOOD! If you think about going dont think twice, worth it.

When an issue arose upon our arrival, Gilbert immediately jumped into action and handled everything with professionalism, calm, and genuine care. They even brought out a festive holiday tree drink display that we were able to use for our toast, which made the evening feel extra special. Gilbert, along with Jasmine and Adam, were incredibly apologetic and thoughtful, following up with calls and emails in the days after. The level of customer service shown that night — and continued afterward — was truly impeccable. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how they are handled makes all the difference. We recently hosted our Client Appreciation Event at American Social Brickell and it was hands down one of the best events our company has ever had. From the planning stage to the end of the night, Jasmine, Katy, Sunny, Ben, Emi, and the entire team were incredible, organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran perfectly. The staff was attentive, friendly, and constantly checking on our guests without ever being intrusive. You can tell they’re experienced with large groups and corporate events. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted: lively, professional, and fun at the same time. The food came out on time, drinks were flowing, and every single guest kept telling us how much they loved the venue and service. It made hosting effortless on our end. If you’re looking for a place in Brickell to host a corporate event, networking event, or celebration, this is it. They truly know how to take care of clients and make you look good as the host. I had an unexpected 7-hour layover in Miami after missing my connecting flight, and I decided to spend some time at American Social—best decision I could’ve made. The atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and exactly what I needed to reset after a long travel day. What really stood out was the service. Ali, the bartender, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring the entire time. She consistently checked on me and even asked what time I needed to leave to make sure I didn’t miss my flight—that level of thoughtfulness is rare. Great drinks, great energy, and top-tier service. If you’re in Miami and want a place with an awesome vibe and staff who truly care, this is it. Ask for Ali—you won’t be disappointed.

Typical American cuisine, service is okay, atmosphere changes depending on the day. If you prefer large crowds and enjoy seeing people socialize then go on the weekend. I went with my friend on a Tuesday and we enjoyed the nice city view without a lot of people.

First time here, everything was good! The drink options were nice and lots of food options! Our favorite drinks were the moka-spresso martini & tiki rita. The smash burger was fire and my boyfriend liked the wagyu truffle melt. I would definitely come back

I’m giving this place 4 stars because they do exactly what they set out to. It’s a great place to hang out and watch sports. However, this place is an autistic person’s worst nightmare. It is where autistics go to die. My family decided to go on a Saturday, and I died. I’m dead. Don’t know how I’m writing this. My watch told me the ambient noise in the restaurant was consistently above 100 decibels; that’s about as loud as a lawnmower. We could barely hear each other over the screaming hoards. I could barely focus from the screens in every direction. There was yacht parking outside and valet service. It was one of the most confusing experiences of my life. The food was okay. Not my favorite. The Mac n cheese was actually pretty good, though. The fries that day were mediocre. I wound up having to take the chicken out of the BLAT in order to eat the sandwich.

Located in downtown. Barely any parking. Inside and outside seating . By the waters.Beautiful scenery. Late night happy hour menu for food and drinks available. Servers not motivated. Bartenders- if you are lucky, you might get the right one.

Cool location. Sat on the patio. Not a full house, but the service was a little slow. I enjoyed my steak and wedges. Music was a little loud for my taste.

Went here and had a great time. As soon as we sat down one of the bartenders Trent got us waters and menus. He was very friendly and suggested the Miami vice which was absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back

Sitting on the intracoastal waterway, they have an amazing patio setup with a full bar. Valet parking was $18/ 4 hours which is steep for a sports bar. It was packed and steady for the game. I joined some friends for Sunday football and endless mimosas. I arrived at 1:30 and was greeted at 2. We had a high top with a great view of both the game and the water. I ordered the endless mimosas knowing I would have atleast 2, which would've still been less expensive than me ordering 2 regular. The server informed me I only had an hour (mind you I was seated for 30 min already) to which I acknowledged but didn't know it was based on her wait time. My friend had been waiting awhile and asked the server on her next round if she could leave a carafe to which she denied then proceeded to say we had to wait cause she had other tables. They offer buckets of beers but not carafes of premixed mimosa (both being shared between 2 people) which was odd as far as ABV is concerned. A manager came and backed her up, and then proceeded to make sure our glasses were refilled for the next hour. I appreciate the conflict resolution and by the end of it there was less tension with our server so thank you. I ordered buffalo chicken fries to snack on. They taste how they sound but still good. Overall this is a great place for hanging with friends and watching sports

Service from the bartender joseline was wonderful! She was personable, friendly and lovely warm smile. However when we first walked in the server wouldn’t clean the table to serve us BUT thank goodness cause the bartender and the happy hour made it worth our while!

The food was solid, the sandwiches were genuinely good and definitely a highlight. It’s a great spot to hang out, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere. That said, the bar service was mid at best. The bartenders came off with a bit of attitude, and the service felt disorganized, especially for how busy the place gets. It might’ve just been a packed night, but it felt like a better system is needed , there was clearly lost business, and you could tell some patrons were getting frustrated waiting for drinks. Overall, it’s a good restaurant with a great setting and strong food, but improved bar service would really elevate the experience. That’s why it’s more of a 3.5-star experience for me, but I’ll round it up to a 4 because the location and food still make it worth visiting.

Overall, we had a really good experience at American Social. The food was great, and our server Charlie was amazing. He was extremely attentive, made sure everything with our order was perfect. Highly recommend him. However, I did have a negative moment when I tried to use the men’s restroom and found it locked. It turned out that two guests were inside doing drugs. I saw it when they opened the door and quickly shut it in my face. I immediately reported the situation to a staff member, who said they’d handle it—but unfortunately, nothing was done. I had to wait for the two guests to leave on their own before I could use the restroom. I still recommend the restaurant and would return, but I do think management should take these kinds of situations more seriously, especially when they involve illegal behavior that affects the comfort and safety of other customers.

I really liked the vibe here, the music was good and the place had great energy. I had the Social Smashburger with the spicy ranch wedges and both were excellent. Honestly those wedges were amazing. Drinks came out pretty quick but the food took a while which was a little frustrating. Our server was great though, really attentive and helpful. The one thing that really bothered me was how long it took to get the Inter Miami game on. This is Miami and Messi is playing, so it was kind of crazy that management seemed totally lost about it. Prices are a little on the high side but that’s normal for Miami.

A put 3 stars ONLY because of the staff. The food was tasty! You can find the choice of healthy and junk options, both taste well! My husband ordered the medium well patty for the burger and they cooked it just right! And It’s not so often thing even for good restaurants. No complains about cooking. The view is amazing. You will be thrilled with expensive yacht cruising down the river! But the thing why I don’t want to give this place the third chance , because of the staff. They are polite. But the second time I come, the second time the waitress looks dirty 🫠 Her white top is all in oily dirty spots, the leggings had a whole in them. Her nails looked like they were bitten by wild animals. The hostess was with dirty hair. the guy who looked like a manager was wearing dirty stretched out suit and faded pants. and the format Once I see dirty clothes and dirt under the nails, I start thinking: Ok, then what’s happening on the kitchen then? Is it a trustful place? For me it’s important. I will not come back🤝

American Social left a lot to be desired today. It set itself up to be very promising from the beginning. The host/manager was very kind on his approach when walking in even though one would think that he may not be since he was wearing sunglasses as part of his uniform. Nevertheless he was gracious and laid back. I found my party of 3 and walked towards them, all while noticing the vibrant vibe of the place. They had been given a great table close to the water. The views are great, a beautiful Brickell skyline nestled into the bay is front and center. Sunday party boats called my attention and kept the place fresh. Shay, our lovely server approached me and offered to get me something to drink which was American coffee. Soon after she came back with it, and took our food order. She was really the best part of our visit. Genuine, friendly and focused service. Mentioned that the coffee took a while because it was made fresh, which I acknowledged as being a good thing. Unfortunately that is as good as it gets for me. The coffee may have been made fresh but I would say that, that was a stretch or simply poorly over brewed coffee. We ordered two starters, wings and a PB&J loaf. And we all ordered our own mains. Unfortunately the mains arrived before the appetizers. Minutes later the appetizers show up, and the wings which were supposed to have had their sauce on the side as she had suggested didn't. They also only came with ranch although Shay said she would send blue cheese also. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and boy, I have had hella better biscuits and gravy at any dinner I've ever been to. The biscuits were dry and hard and over baked. The gravy was tasteless. I'm sorry it's been a while since I have had such bad food at a restaurant. My friends seemed to have had a better experience although one did say that the bread for his burger was also dry and hard. That's pretty much in a nutshell.

Great location and vibes right on the water. But for a spot like this- service was not good at all. Waited very long for a drink and then our tab when there was barely anyone there. The hostess was not friendly at all- didn’t seem welcoming or happy, nor acknowledged us when we thanked her

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to this time. The last two times we visited this restaurant, people were smoking cigars at the outside bar while others were trying to eat. The first time it happened, I mentioned it to the staff thinking it would be addressed. The second time we went back, I was shocked to see that the manager himself was smoking a cigar. The smell was so strong it made me sick to my stomach, and my wife said she never wants to come back. It completely ruined what could have been a nice dining experience. It’s disappointing because we really wanted to like this place, but allowing cigar smoke where people are eating is unacceptable.

Tonight I came to American Social to have dinner outside, and honestly, the experience wasn’t good. The first server was a little rude, and then she passed my table to another server who didn’t even want to take my order. After all that back and forth, the third server finally came and helped me out. I spoke with the manager because I wanted to enjoy a cigar, and he told me I couldn’t smoke on the patio but the table right next to me was smoking cigars with no problem. That part really didn’t make sense, chico. The inconsistency made the whole thing feel even more frustrating. Overall, the night just didn’t feel right. I won’t be coming back.

This was the weirdest experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I get there when it’s like 80% empty and the hostess tells me that I can to wait at the bar for like 15 minutes because “the kitchen is too busy”. They didn’t even let me sit and wait outside (where it was 80% empty) while I check the menu, order a drink, then order my food, etc. Very very weird approach.

I did not have a good experience at all. My original order was made incorrectly I asked for no mushrooms on my sandwich. After asking for updates, I waited for the corrected order, only to be told that my food had been given to someone else by mistake. I then had to wait even longer while they remade it a third time. The food tasted rushed, and after an hour long wait, everyone else had already finished eating, and their plates were being cleared from my table while I was still waiting for my food. The sandwich wasn’t cooked properly it tasted very rushed, and I was overcharged for the item (they use the thin phones for orders so I couldn't see until I looked at a full receipt). They didn’t offer any compensation multiple issues and the long wait. Overall, it was a terrible experience, seems like other people are having similar issues. Only good thing about this place its the atmosphere. Paid $80 for 2 meals 2 beers, had to wait over 1 hour for my food just for it to taste rushed.. terrible.

Great food. Great atmosphere. But no exaggeration when I say, Worst service I’ve experienced in Miami (that says a lot). They dont necessarily hire the smartest servers and out of the 6 times I’ve been to the Miami location, I’ve never gotten a drink I ordered without waiting at least 15 minutes. I wish I was exaggerating. I wouldn’t complain if they were busy and it was 1 time this happened, but it’s been EVERY TIME. Even with less than 6 tables taken in all of the outdoor area. I don’t know if management doesn’t care or if the location brings enough foot traffic for them not to worry much about the service, but it’s absolutely horrible and a pretty big waste of time if you planned to come here to drink. I only plan to return if invited out, I’ll never go to the Miami location otherwise. Sad bc this place is amazing other than this consistent problem. Never had this issue at their other locations (only been to others once though)
