This place has the best chicken tenders, the sides are so good and plentiful, and the corn bread is some of the best I've ever tasted. Such a great place to fill up on comfort food.

So so sooooooo good. I get the family meal when friends from up north are visiting. Freshly made and super friendly staff. Place was packed for a Tuesday afternoon and it did not take more than 10 minutes for them to put together my order.

The food here is AMAZING! If you're in the area and hungry, stop here. You will not be disappointed. If they have some meatballs, get them. I tried some once and they were the best I have ever had.

I went there for the famous chicken dinner and I got their fish and chips instead that was the best fish dinner I have had for take out food 😋 ☺ the employees are so pleasant its like eating at home! I'm not one to leave food reviews, but this place deserves it. I didn't expect to walk into a chicken joint and have the best chili that I've ever eaten. The mac and cheese was think and creamy. The chicken was tender, juicy, and plentiful. Fair price for a fair portion. Truly one of the best dining out experiences and even though it was busy there was virtually zero wait.

I thought I already posted a review of The Chicken Connection. But Google is asking again so here I am. Nothing's changed. It's just as awesome as I said in the last posting. I normally get the family chicken tender meal. It comes with two sides. And if you feel adventurous, you have to try the mac and cheese balls. They're freaking awesome! Love this place. I order out here at least once a month. When friends and family visit, it's the place where I get the food. It's just that good. Oh and let's not forget about the people. The patrons there are outstanding. No matter who you are, even if it's your first visit, they will talk to you like they've known you for years. Extremely friendly, and very considerate. Did I already say I love this place? I love this place!

I went to the Chicken Connection today and got the Czech meal. Boneless pork ribs, falling apart, the best warm sauerkraut that I have ever eaten and delicious bread dumplings to sop up the awesomeness! They have monthly Czech specials available every Thursday and if you have never tried Czech food, you are missing out! I spoke with the chef/owner Peter and he mentioned that he's a classically trained chef, and man does it show! I heard everything there is really great, but if you don't go by and try the special on Thursday, you are missing out! WOW!

Chicken Connection had fantastic Fried Chicken for an awesome, affordable price. The chicken I got had a great meat to bone ratio, and the meal I got filled me up quite quickly. The staff was extremely friendly and appeared to enjoy what they did. I would highly recommend coming here if your in the area!

I've always had their fried chicken dinners and enjoyed the luscious wings, drumsticks and breasts. But recently, I tried their combo of chicken tenders and fried macaroni and cheese balls...absolutely delicious! It seems that they have expanded their menu to ribs, various sandwiches and chicken pot pies- more reasons for me to return and try these items as well!

We ordered Plaistow Chicken Connection for a party of 40, the food was incredible!!! We had the chicken pot pie, rotisserie chicken, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders. All of the food was prepared fresh and was hot when we picked it up. Everyone devoured the food and kept asking where it was from! Having been a fan of Chicken Connection for years at the Haverhill location, I was happy when this location opened. In full transparency of my opinion, Plaistow location is 100X better! The service is super friendly, customer-focused and they not only assemble all meals in front of you, but also review your entire order before bagging it up. Plus they have a lot of different options including fish n chips, mac and cheese bites, meatloaf, sandwiches, and daily specials. Cost is very reasonable for their GIGANTIC portions. You will be very happy you ate here! Best chicken fingers!

Great chicken and many other menu options. Chicken Connection has very friendly service and great prices. They are always well staffed so your order is put together very quickly which greatly reduced your wait time. Their pulled pork sandwich is one of my favorites with a mound of meat making it very filling.

Had a mercy meal catered from here. Everyone here was GREAT to work with. It was ready to pick up and Hot when they said it would be. A second location to the Haverhill Chicken Connection, always has fresh food and sides. Great fried chicken as well as daily and weekend specials, theres something for even picky eaters to enjoy. The staff is always helpful and attentive. They also offer catering for large quantities.

Stopped in on a whim.....best decision EVER. My daughter had the ultimate chicken sandwich which was huge. I had the 4 x 4 which was delicious. Will definitely plan to dine here again.

Great place for some real comfort food. The fried chicken is perfect every time, and the mac n cheese is a must have side. Definitely more of a take out spot for me as the seating is limited and not all that welcoming, but the food is the real focus here.

I don't know how I've lived up here half my life and never eaten here but the food was 10/10 delicious. The grilled chicken sandwhich was so flavorful and juicy, the fries and chicken tenders seasoned actually seasoned very well unlike so many other places. My son got the chicken pie and said it was a small portion but very filling (Critiques from a 16 yr old). Will definitely come here again. Yum!!!

Dropped a big party order on them just as they opened and they took it in stride, had us out in no time. Food was excellent, everyone at the party made mention of it. Mac and cheese, potatoes and gravy, tenders, fried chicken pieces, all fantastic!

Went in with my husband and daughter for a quick dinner. As always, chicken tenders and fries are a big hit! I tried the Thanksgiving sandwich made with shredded chicken instead of turkey, and it was delicious! Huge serving, great flavor! My husband had the beef brisket and was pleased with the amount and flavor!

I was in the area and had to stop in because I love the food. I was not disappointed I got the chicken thigh with mashed gravy butternut squash and stuffing. Everything was hot and delicious! Chicken connection never disappoints. I got to bring my mom here for her first time and she loved it! I mean I knew she would- how can you not? lol I always get the half a rotisserie chicken with two sides and it’s more than enough for two meals for me. Well worth the price!

The chicken fingers are fresh and fantastic!!!! They are made to order from white breast meat. They offer a wide variety of sides, including mashed potatoes, fries, squash, stuffing and steamed vegetables. There is a big selection of dipping sauces and they also have tasty gravy, if you prefer. They offer awesome homemade chicken pot pies either with vegetables or without; these are for takeaway & bake at home. Most customers do takeaway orders as the sit-down/dine-in area is like a sub shop. It is very clean and bright but limited in seating. The counter staff are pleasant. This place is Phantom Gourmet rated and is a "must try" if you are in Plaistow, NH or in Haverhill, MA (2nd location).

Hear good things about this place and oh boy were people right. The Chicken was Juicy and Fried to Perfection. Mac and Cheese was not orange plastic fake stuff, It was white and creamy and tasted amazing. Although I like my Mashed Potatoes Whipped, The Mashed here were very tasty and hearty. ( Not Whipped ) Really mashed. Gravy was spiced perfectly. I will most certainly be back and I am looking forward to trying everything on the menu. Kudos Chicken Connection, You know how to make a meal feel and taste home cooked.

¡Este sitio siempre está buenísimo! Siempre que se me antoja comida casera pero no tengo tiempo para cocinar, vengo aquí. Mi plato favorito es el pollo frito con dos acompañamientos. Normalmente pido puré de papas con salsa y calabaza. ¡Queda riquísimo y me llena muchísimo! A veces pido macarrones con queso o una ensalada, ¡y esas opciones también están buenísimas!

Chicken was good, better than most. It was a hot day and there is no air-conditioning. It had to be close to 100 degrees or more. I asked if the air-conditioning was broken and was told that they don't use it because of all the steam tables and cooking they can't keep it cool.

Plenty of bang for your buck. We have four kids so going out to eat is quite expensive. We spent $50 and got enough to feed us all for lunch as well as dinner. Food is pretty standard, nothing exceptional or bad about it, it's chicken lol, the Mac n Cheese is pretty damn good though. Will be back for sure.

Good food, tasted homemade, it is cafeteria style. Order at the counter they call a number. Good size portions, and tasted great. They have more of a selection than just chicken. Smaller dining area, about 20 seats, but close. They seem to do a lot of carry out . We will probably be back when in the area.

I never tried this place, and recently went in on a whim because I was in the area - I've been back like 5x since then. It's really good! It's kind of a Boston Market type place - I wish they had a better variety of veggie sides, but their food is very good and pretty healthy for a fast grab!

Underrated spot. The mac and cheese & chicken are really awesome and flavorful. But even better… the chicken rice soup. Seriously better than homemade. Prices not too bad considering the large portions. Gotta say I prefer this location rather than their other spot in Haverhill. Needles to say… I’ve never craved chicken soup until trying chicken connection soup. So good.

Ordered a chicken parmesan for the family, the one that feeds 15 people. Came home and dove into it I was so excited. The flavor is great, the chicken was amazing however the long piece of dark hair I pulled from my mouth and off my chicken wasn't so great . Not a huge deal but it kinda made my stomach churn a bit .

Nice warm dinner when much of the area was in a big post-storm power outage. Got the last half-chicken but on this day it's understandable that they would run out. Asked for corn bread as one of the sides but apparently corn bread is not a side. Okay, too bad. As we're getting our food we ask about dinner rolls, which is usually included. All out of dinner rolls. Hmmm, but they still wouldn't swap out the stuffing for a piece of corn bread. That, I believe, is NOT understandable - and it was the owner serving us! Not the best way to run one's business in my opinion. $27 for dinner for two - nothing to drink, so a little pricey considering Market Basket sells a rotisserie chicken for less than $5.

Had their meatballs at a graduation party recently and they were undercooked. Got to do better than that.

My 1st visit here. There wasn't any bad food. Had 2 piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes & corn. You get to pick which pieces of chicken you want. I had a breast & leg. I'll go back.

The last 3 times we have been, the roasted potatoes 🥔 were only boiled potatoes, no yummy seasoning. The stuffing however is their saving grace. Macaroni & Cheese is great and the chicken fingers are great and the perfect size for snacking on the way home!

My husband & I dined at Chicken Connection late February. We've dined there a few times, and the food was typically very good. This visit's outcome was different. My order was cup of Chicken Rice soup that was delicious and 7-piece chicken finger dinner, and l was disappointed - chicken fingers were long, slender pieces, a bit dried out and heavily coated with thick layer of battered mix giving impression mostly chicken inside. Ends were just chunks of fried batter, which I broke off & discarded. Also peeled much of the coating off. My husband was completely satisfied with his fried chicken dinner. Before heading out, we decided to purchase frozen white-meat chicken pot pie with vegetables for approximately $23.00. Just baked today on St. Patty's day, and the consistency was not right. Either something was wrong with ingredients or in way it was mixed. My description of how it appeared is not fit to say here. And both of us agreed there was little chicken added to this pie. The crust was still pretty much of a doughy texture just under the top, even after an hour in the oven. Nor was crust applied right to the edges of the aluminum pie plate. Will never buy their chicken pot pie again.

I love the haverhill chicken connection, have since I was a kid. Was in plaistow and figured it was gonna be just as good. I got my order of chicken tenders and a large fry, they had combined the two in one giant container which is fine but on the drive home all I could smell was over fried burnt food. I got home and opened my food and the fries were so over cooked and over fried that they were soggy, and dark dark brown/black. Completely inedible. Thankfully the chicken was just as good, if not better but it’s weird to me to screw up fries that bad. I threw them all away which is basically like lighting money on fire. I’ll be going to haverhill from now on for chicken connection thx.

Placed an order over the phone for take out. It was pleasant and easy. Once I got there the girl working was extremely rude and almost ruined my night. I contemplated never going again and I used to work for this chain years and years ago.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, that where the chicken was undersized and did not fit the bun. Chicken was rubbery and tasted old. Asked for honey mustard on it and was told it needed to be on the side (for the first time). Come to find out, it was Ken's prepackaged single serve container that tasted terrible. Normally this sandwich has been good, but definitely not today!

The best chicken in the Merrimack Valley. Awesome, friendly staff That was 2 years ago! Went there today! In a word, Disappointed!! What used be thick meaty all white meat chicken breasts are now small and dried out. May have been sitting for awhile. Staff could have been friendlier!

I ordered a three piece meal to go along with two sandwichs and a rib meal. When I got home there was NO chicken in the three piece. Only the sides were in there. They also forgot the gravy for the sandwichs. It wasn't busy at all so not sure what happened. I drove over 30 minutes out of my way and wasn't going to head back through the traffic.

I went to pick up an online order at this location and it defaulted to the haverhill chicken connection. They were unable to reimburse me or give me the food I ordered because of this. This is understandable but the second I walked into the door before this issue was even brought up the lady at the register rolled her eyes at me as if i was inconveniencing her by walking in. she then proceeded to have a horrible attitude throughout our whole conversation and continued to roll her eyes. When we called 10 mins later to ask how we would go about getting the refund that same woman was just as rude and the owner was too and refused to speak to us. there food is okay but the customer service is absolutely horrible.

I am so disappointed with the meals my family got today. I ordered a chicken meal and a rib meal and the only thing that was worth eating was the chicken. The stuffing was worse than boxed stuffing and the mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless. The worst was the ribs though, which tasted like they were soaked in liquid smoke. I called to complain and I was offered a free meal, but, I will not be returning. Chicken connections qaulity is not what it used to be.

I can't believe it what as this world come to. Went into chicken connection and asked for a chix wrap. Usually comes with lettuce and cheese. I asked for tomato to be added and they told me no we don't do that it is to difficult for the kitchen. But adding mayo was ok. I worked in kitchens and spreading mayo is harder adding tomato to a wrap. Well since it's to hard for the kitchen to accommodate simple request it kinda hard for it's kinda hard for me to slide my credit card. I left and will never go back. Usually in restaurant biz money is on the adds ONS and sides. I DONT GET IT CONVINCED COVID SCREWED PEOPLE MINDS. GOOD LUCK................... Response......... It tasted great last time it was not Dry because they added tomatoes last time. But when they told me know NO on tomato's this time I left someone else will appreciate my business and I am willing to pay for good service. It's not about training or adding tomato's. ITS ABOUT COMMON SENSE. I am not the person who believes customer is always right trust me. But in this case come on. But the beauty of competition and capitalism lets me go elsewhere. I would have never expected this from a business that kinda sells home cooked family style vide. Begrudgingly i ordered from here for a recent party. I say begrudgingly because these past couple years the quality of the food has decreased as well as the service, but thought i would order one last time. Truly this will be the last time. I called and asked to make a catering order, the girl who answered giggled and said ill have to give you to another person. A boy gets on the phone and laughed and said thats not me and gave me back to the girl. I again asked if i could simply put it in a catering order and if there was someone capable of taking the order. The girl said she was sorry and she would take the order. Very simple 100 wingettes and 60 piece chicken finger. She asked how many pieces. I repeated the order with the prices listed online. I gave her date and and time. Ten minutes went by she called me and asked what time i will be picking up and asked me to repeat the order. I again gave her the time and order with prices. An hour later i recieved another call pricing me for ice. I told the man i never ordered ice. Clearly i should have seen the writing on the wall. The total for my order was about $130. I asked my spouse to pick it up, not specifying what i ordered. When arrived they forgot about order nothing was ready and signed for items i never ordered. We recieved 60 wings and a finger party platter with utensils. Total almost $300. I immediately called and spoke to the manager, i explained the sitaution and his response was ok. Ok? You charged me for things i never ordered after having us wait for 40 minutes because you forgot about order. He then proceeded to say he was too busy to deal with this. I grew up in the food industry....i never gave that response. I am now disputing the charge on my card. How this place is still in business is beyond my understanding.

Normally we really like chicken connection but the food tonight was terrible! We ordered fried chicken and the chicken is so dried out that it’s borderline inedible. Also, the order of French fries we received had about 6 fries in it and our gravy was only half full. Very disappointing, as we have ordered from them a lot over the years.

Had a dinner order summarily cancelled 20 minutes after being placed because they were"too busy". Order placed more than 2 hours before closing time. If you can't fill an order, don't accept it in the first place. Making sure my family never orders from here again.

Me: ok..could you do two? Worker: yeah people usually call in advance for this type of thing. Me: I understand. Worker: (not to me) hey do you have enough for two trays of mac and cheese?? (Of the phone i hear mumbles and then "not be a problem")...phone gets covered and I hear muffled talk Worker: we just don't have enough cooked pasta, it's impossible. Sorry. Me: ok, no problem ..........wait ten minutes and call from my wifes phone. Me: Hi I'm wondering if I can order big order of chi ken wings and about 4 large containers of mac and cheese. Usually they are great but my recent experience was really disappointing .. order a pulled pork dinner with extra bbq sauce. Meat wasn't shredded and mostly fat, and zero bbq sauce.. asked for mashed and gravy. Didn't get gravy.. $45 for 2 dinner you would think they would take a little bit more care into what the customer is asking for.
