I just returned a 12 piece order that I brought last night because I ask the girl is the chicken fresh or has it been sitting there and she said it was fresh and it was not I did obtain a refund this morning and I must say I've never had a problem with churches chicken until last night

When hankering for good fried chicken this is my go to place, today was no exception, had the 8 piece original ( they didn't have any spicy) with fries and fried okra - delicious. Only had 1 dissatisfied experience when the chicken was salty.

This churches is located in the heart of Goulds. IYKYK. Very polite service. Food was fresh to order. No wait time or lines at the time I went which sorry but don't remember maybe 4 or 3 around that 🤔.

i just moved to florida and wanted to eat sum churchs chicken i found this location great customer service. ALL the chicken was coming out fresh .. we dined in it was pretty quiet .. the only thing i would improve is the cleanliness of restrooms and maybe touch up the lobby. But in all fairness it is also an old building so that is also understandable. The gentlemen in drive thru and in the kitchen were in great moods making their shift peasant . laughing but never stopped working.. I was given alot of bad rep about this place but i always make it a point to check playes out myself before judging ..im glad i did .. i will be back for sure

Don’t listen to the comments about the customer service! They were all great! As I was waiting I saw 2 customers yelling and snapping on the employees for no reason what so ever. All for a $2 sweet tea. The employees treated everyone (even the rude customers) with the up most respect. And the food was great! will be ordering from here again.

I always have a good experience going to Church's Chicken.... I gave it four stars because I had to wait for my food just a little longer than usual because they had to make my chicken tenders but other than that the customer service is always nice.

Love the biscuits!!! They always have great deals so if you have a large family this is a pocket friendly food chain!! All their food on the menu is good!! The chicken just needs a little more seasoning in my opinion but I just buy their jalapeno peppers to eat with it and problem solved!

I love this place, I always will love this place. I just hate that all the stores seem to be located in suspicious locations. Lol I rarely eat here but when I want something that is nostalgic and good I come here. It's worth the drive to the next churchs about 40 minutes away.

When I went to church's: I went through drive thru. It wasn't no one in the line and it didn't take long for my order. The food was nice in hot for a change. I really don't eat out to restaurant cause they are so I nasty and filty. But it was okay

Tenders were great! But didnt get our biscuits and the coleslaw was only 3/4 full and soggy and bland. Not very pleased :(

It's only okay because you always have to wait wheater if you are in drive thru or walk in and then you get skipped over they give your order to someone else when you were there way before them.

This place has a tendency to be a little dirty. When I was there last, there was a spilled drink in the dining room that no one bothered to clean up. The front counter was dirty and sticky and I asked the person behind the counter for a rag so I could clean the counter. I asked for spicy chicken. They would not sell me any from the tray. They said it had been there too long and was not good. Instead of moving it and replacing it with fresh product, they just left it there so the shift manager could take a photo and send it to the manager at closing. To be fair, they were really busy, but they could have taken a little time to do a little cleaning.

I gave 3 stars because i just left there and when i get out the car there was some guy hanging around outside begging for money and walking up on people and watching the customer as they get out the car to see if they had money. Once i was inside with my family he continued to watch people the manager tool my order he was very nice by the way and my order was perfect so we took our food to the table the guy outside was standing there watching me and my family and then the couple behind felt a little nervous because he was watching her to see where she was putting her purse so i got up and told the manager and he ran the guy away and he apologized.

Ordered for delivery through postmates. Our chicken strips were partially raw and awful. It all went in the trash. Only reason it even gets three stars is the jalapeño bombers were good. Postmates is great. Churches chicken not so much.

Place needs a makeover. Foods alright but not fast at all. Pretty disorganised and once you pay just cross your fingers that you get your order. All it needs is new management and a renovation and it has the potential to be alot better.

$30 order turned into a $55 delivery that took 40 minutes longer to deliver then promised with no utensils, no plates and no napkins and no condiments for the biscuits. Oh and the drink we ordered arrived lukewarm which was disconcerting. However, the chicken was pretty good.

I visit this establishment frequently at least once every week The customer service is great fast friendly service the appearance of restaurant not so appealing drive thru window and outter appearance needs freshing up pressure wash or little paint. Sometimes I get it nice and hot this time was barely hot not fresh will I visit again more than likely.

The attention was really deficient, despite not having another customer, neither in the local nor in the Drive Thru. It's like nobody wants to be there, neither the employees nor the customers.

We wanted to grab a few chicken sandwiches for the road. We we visiting someone in the Florida City, Us1 area. They didn't have any chicken. It was a Friday night around 9 pm

July 13th lunch time purchased 9pc chicken basket took it home dumped in the garbage , the meat was old , even the breast was funny looking imagine the other parts!....also was dried and no chicken flavor at all.....its my second experience this location this year ! everybody listen : don't go there !

I went in and ordered the Texas special and 2 breast . When we finally got home we were missing the 2 breast . I would normally not make a big deal about it but they charged me $6.99 . I really recommend checking your order before you leave the store.

This place has feel off. It’s the only Church’s we have down south. Heck it’s only like 4 left from dade to broward. I went a yr ago hair was in my rice. Didn’t go back until now and old chicken I received. Paid $15 for a 3 piece chicken meal, pepper pack and apple pie. Never received my Apple pie and the chicken was cold, hard and old smfh. Look $15 is a family meal cooked. So who wants to pay that price for garbage food

They were out of tenders, and sandwiches, there was a sketchy guy harassing cars at the drive through. Had to leave without ordering for safety reasons. The guy at the drive through was super friendly, apologetic, and helpful.

My partner and me went to Church Chicken in Homestead, US-1 & 216 ST. Just leaving at final of the day. The food wasn't the best. The chicken was dark inside. It seems like no fresh. Manners of employe at costumers service was not so good. The ambience was not nice. Enough parking spaces.

This day was the worst and it started at the top with the manager. She showed no leadership skills just as loud and ghetto. If this is the crews example they're in trouble. I am not too happy. Waited for fresh chicken to be cook but the taste was not good, maybe they had to change the oil. And the salad it was bad I had to throw it away, there was no way we could eat it. Not recommended at all.

Pretty bad. Bread came right of not-so-tender undercooked tenders. Coleslaw tasted rotten and I vomited several times after ingestion. Pretty slow service, utensils were not given for food, people were served out of turn. Overall worst fast food experience in my life.

I went on Good Friday to have no fish whatsoever so about a family meal with chicken the chicken the battle was coming off of the chicken it tasted horrible the chicken wasn't cook fully because all the battle was falling off and wasn't crispy at all also what's up with the rice it look like it was stuffing that you stuff in a turkey you'll need to do better.on top of all of that I'm at the drive-thru window and there's two young boys there that walked up not in a car and they're serving them from the window and having a conversation had to roll my window up I thought that was unprofessional I hated it the young lady didn't seem to mind what she was doing the guy didn't see what he was mine what he was doing it was on Good Friday in the evening time hated used to like it never go there again and I'll also recommend my friends and family to never go there totally un pleasant

Chicken does not taste how it used to. It has no flavor and was very dry. Biscuits were always my favorite but now they just taste like a cheap biscuit with a bit of honey on top :(

Not a good experience. Cashier Mariah took my order in the drive thru I ordered a three-piece combo and two apple pies because I heard there was a special on two apple pies when I drove up to the drive-thru she apparently heard a 3-piece combo and fries because that is what she repeated back to me so I did not correct her and left it at that I asked for a large drink and she told me it would be $0.50 extra and I told her that would be fine. When I pulled up to the window with my $20 in hand she said she did not have any change and that I needed to pay with a debit or credit card she handed me my meal but she did not give me the large drink that I asked for. I asked her for the large drink and she asked me for the 50 Cent she put the medium drink to the side I'm prepared my large drink then I asked her for some towelettes and she handed me two napkins and gave me a Blank Stare. I took my napkins and drove away.

Had to wait 25 minutes for chicken to get done. When finally arrived chicken was greasy and strong tainted oil taste, mashed potatoes watery, terrible cole slaw and even though I asked the guy who brought my order to the car if my apple pie was in bag and he said yes It wasn’t there . So sad you wait , your hungry, spend $25.00 for food and the whole order was terrible when you plate it for your family . I’m done with Church’s!!’

The customer service today was awful, 3-28-2022 at 620, ordered spicy chicken, got to the window and was told that I didn't order spicy chicken, then told me, they don't have any spicy chicken! The inside was locked at 620 and the staff was very rude!! Please check your staff and how can you only sell chicken and not have the flavors of chicken u sell!!!!

There is an older woman that works there that has no customer service skills at ALL and the manager guy, the one who looks white with the accent does nothing at all. Sorry place. When buying the food it is a hit or miss

Dirty restaurant, horrible fried chicken. The leg I bit into was so watery. Like I bit into it n it sprayed water everywhere I went to the sink to try to get a better bite because all I took off was skin I bite into the chicken n it's chewy and raw. Very disgusting it was as if they boiled the chicken then breaded it n fried it also very bland. Lol how are you all in business?

This email is regarding Church's HORRIBLE service, with employees inside sitting on the tables and laughing while someone counted the cash at the register NOT TAKING ORDERS. Not only did the location mentioned above not have change for a $20 bill after I ordered for the first time ever at a Church's, but the second time attempting to order on a different occassion I was asked to place my order at the window and then drive up to the window to be told "we are closed, come back another day". Honestly, this is terrible service. I'd never ATTEMPT to order again.. not that I was even able to try the food.

Chicken not cooked all the way through, was told to pull around back into drive thru to wait for my chicken tenders to be done, so instead I went inside to see the ceiling leaking water in different places, a man trying to sell me tshirts and underwear from Walmart for 5 dollars, and to top it off they didn't have any ketchup or hit sauce, oh and they didn't put honey on the biscuits. Never going back

Cashiers always seem mad usually talking over food, long waits, and manager stays 😠 like they doing us, (the paying customers) a favor! Lastly no matter how much you repeat your order they still get it wrong!

My family took a visit to this church's chicken. I will tellyou the truth...we suffered with the worst bowels movements after eating church's chicken. I awoke around two am with another visit to the toilet. My son suffered the same feat. I promise everyone who reads this. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Please enter at your on risk!

Their chicken used to be good back in the day. It's nasty as hell now. Like they just the chicken in flour and drop it in the grease. No flavor. No seasoning. I will NEVER go back again.

I recently tried church chicken and decided to branch out from my usual choice at KFC. I went for 10-piece family meals and was impressed by the delicious chicken. I particularly enjoy the chicken with sauce, so I asked the staff for Zesty honey mustard and ranch. sauces,However, I was informed that the sauces were only available for the chicken nuggets, despite paying 50 cents each for them. While the food was great and my family loved it, I’ve made the decision not to return to Church Texas Chicken because I believe sauces should be offered without extra charges, especially when it complements the fried chicken.

A few months ago I read reviews of others having received twice-fried old chicken. Sure enough, it started happening to me. Twice in a row. I’ve never gone back to that location after that. They’re always polite but they do give old chicken burnt because it was fried twice to use up the leftover pieces instead of frying fresh. I always get the family size okra too. It’s always good but this time there was a huge ball of okra stuck together and fried that way so whomever is cooking the okra is not breaking up the pieces stuck together which caused the “okra ball”! I used drive-through but there’s no button below for that option. I go to other locations much farther away. Will never go back to the Goulds location.

If I could give 0 stars for service and atmosphere I would. They need a while new team. Women cursing at customers and family members. Instead of chatting with others or playing on phone they should focus on Customer service and speed. I do not recommend nor Will I ever go here again. Absolutely horrible.
