They offer free bread with oil, their bread was so good. I ordered some bruschetta as an appetizer. I love the tomato with cheese goodness but I wish they would use a better toast bread it's so hard and not my favorite still tasty though. For my entree I ordered the Piccata if you like artichoke, mushrooms and capers this one is absolute perfection. The veggies are crisp and full of flavor. I honestly loved everything on my plate to include the small pasta. Definitely give it a try you'll be glad you did!

Dined at Divieto twice for dinner and was happy both times—great service and consistently good food. My kids love the pasta with meatballs. Smoked Old Fashioned and Italian Mojito are both excellent. The pastas are very tasty—make sure to ask for the Parmigiano-Reggiano. Carpaccio di Manzo and tuna tartare are also really good.

This restaurant deserves 10 stars. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and exceptional service. The craft cocktails are wonderful. I had the lychee martini and my fiancé had the smoked old fashioned. Each and every appetizer is delicious and made fresh. Top appetizers: calamari and tuna tartare. The entrees are all freshly made and have its own unique blend of taste. The pasta in the cheese wheel was to die for! Additionally, we were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us a card, flowers and champagne. Their attention to detail makes each visit special. Special shoutout to our waiters MARTIN and CAROL. We were also greeted by the management team and they checked on us periodically to make sure we were enjoying our dinner.

Best lychee martini in town!!! I have been to many places and their’s is one of the best lychee martinis I have had. The clam chowder was delicious. I also had the mussels with butter and they were perfect and the bread that comes with it , is perfect. The tuna tartar is a must!! I can say the appetizers they were all delicious. Me and my friend order the pasta they serve in the wheel of cheese and we loved it. It was her birthday and they even offered a complementary dessert!! We have been coming here for years and I have to say the quality and service is as good as the first day. I really recommend them. If you can make reservations because it can get full

My recent visit to Divieto Ristorante in Doral was an absolute delight! The 1920s-inspired ambiance, with its elegant decor and warm lighting, set the perfect tone for a memorable evening. It’s a fantastic spot for a special night out or a cozy dinner. We kicked things off with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with a zesty marinara that had just the right kick. The lasagna was a showstopper—layers of rich, meaty goodness with a velvety béchamel and robust tomato sauce, baked to bubbly perfection. The short rib ravioli was equally impressive, with melt-in-your-mouth filling wrapped in delicate pasta, topped with a savory sauce that balanced the dish beautifully. For dessert, we indulged in the tuxedo chocolate cake, and wow—what a way to end the meal! The layers of moist chocolate cake and creamy frosting were decadent yet not overly sweet, striking the perfect balance. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations from their extensive wine list to pair with our meal. We went for our 25th Anniversary and we were treated so well. They gave us free champagne to help up us celebrate. They also gave my wife flowers for me. My only complaint is that the food was too salty. I ordered the veal parmegeana. All in all a great experience. I will return.

I had an amazing experience at Divieto in Doral. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—Yamile and Cesar took great care of us, super friendly and attentive throughout the night. One of the highlights of the evening was the Ruota di Parmigiano. The girl who prepared the pasta tableside was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the whole cheese process. She made the experience truly special—it’s something I highly recommend! If you go, definitely ask for her and Yamile; they’ll make sure you have a great time. We also tried the Pollo alla Parmigiana and the Osso Buco, both cooked to perfection and full of rich flavor. It’s an upscale spot with a relaxed vibe, perfect for a special dinner or just a fantastic Italian meal. Can’t wait to go back!

Our first time at this restaurant, and we must say it exceeded all expectations. The service was top-notch, from the hosts, the waitress, and Max, the manager. The chef's special salmon carpaccio was a 10/10. We tried three different pastas, from the one presented in a Parmesan wheel to the classic carbonara. All delicious. While they served the pasta in a Parmesan wheel, they explained the origin of the cheese. The atmosphere was spectacular. To top it off, a cappuccino was simply divine. This is definitely a must-try. Tonight was a very special night, we were celebrating our Anniversary, we chose Divieto because we love the food and great service. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. The food and service were spectacular. When my husband made the reservation, he mentioned our anniversary and they surprised us with sparkling wine, flowers, and a lovely note. Our server was Caesar and he was very friendly and efficient. My friend who was celebrating her birthday wanted to visit this Italian restaurant she heard her friend talk about . I usually don't visit Italian restaurants here in Miami sense most of them end up disappointing me . Divieto took me by surprise. We did not had any reservations. So we had to wait 30 min. The hostess were very friendly. The waiting area outside is nice and chill . Atmosphere: We ended up sitting outside, which I recommended. Is chill, not to noisy, the fan give a nice breeze. I enjoy it . The service was good. The food: My mother other the Tuscan salmon . Very tasty, she loved it . The birthday girl order Alfredo shrimp because she wanted the show with the giant cheese wheel 🙄. She loved it . I managed to try the shrimp and it was cook perfect. I order the mascarpone pastas. It came with chicken and shrimp. I was surprised my shrimp was not over cooked. Every dish was delicious, well seasoned, flavorful and cooked to perfection . The server brought my friend a free brownie with a candle. That was very sweet of her . I order the tiramisu, it was good . ( not the best tiramisu but it was good) Overall, I left Diviento happy. The food surpassed my expectations. I will make sure to come back . 👍

Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Miami is Divieto. The attention and the food is spectacular, a 10000/10. They make every moment something unique. We love to come and today we chose it again for a special occasion and it was something so beautiful that I can't describe it. We had a reservation and were running late and they were able to extend it by 15 minutes! We ended up getting Yamy and Cesar as our servers and they worked together phenomenally. Both so attentive and very respectful. Would recommend and come back! We both got the Ruota Di Parmiggiano with steak and loved it! We also got the Brushetta Siciliana 10/10 would recommend!

Divieto ristorante has quickly become a favourite spot I will always happily introduce to anyone. Starting with the ambience it has one of the most comfortable outdoor seatings for whatever you desire, from a quiet date night to a fun night of drinks with the girls. The tables are adequately separated in between lush plants that add a relaxed tropical feel to the dining experience. The outdoor fans always leave you feeling cool and the lighting is just perfect. I have only had pleasant experiences with the staff at Divieto and this time was no different. They are very polite, attentive and helpful. Our table had the fried calamari, which personally I think is to die for. Served hot, crispy and delicious, it pairs wonderfully with squeeze of lemon and the aioli it is served with. The table side pasta in the cheese wheel is both garlicky and cheesy, always leaving you wanting another bite. The lasagna is sweet, spicy, herby, perfectly balanced into a pleasurable bite. The ribeye was cooked to perfection with pillow soft mash potatoes as the accompaniment. Not to be forgotten was the Burtst my Berry bubble which comes topped with a smokey bubble which is an aromatic tease to what this cocktail has in store. Overall 10/10 and worth the visit! First time eating here and everything was amazing! My husband brought me here for my birthday and we can’t wait to come back. The Carbonara was amazing as well as Ruota Di Parmigiano which is mixed in a cheese wheel which was fun to watch. The spinach dip appetizer was great. The space was clean and the atmosphere was inviting. Our service was top tier, Franceska made our visit unforgettable and even better with a birthday dessert. Kid friendly as well.

Maris was one of the most professional and charismatic waitresses I have ever had the pleasure to experience. One of the best ever in my culinary life. If there were six stars she would deserve them. Attentive but not overbearing as well as a memory beyond belief.

Brought my wife on our first date here and I have loved this place either since. Food is always great. Made fresh and the presentation is beautiful. The servers are always very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like you are a guest in their own home. Atmosphere is very cool. It has that 1920s feel & look. I had heard about this place before but never had the opportunity because it was always so packed. I made a reservation, they have a very big parking lot. As soon as you go in you are greeted in the entrance and the atmosphere is amazing. The place has a retro kind of 1970s look. The waiters and the manager was attentive, they made sure everything was fine with our food. The experience with the cheese wheel was amazing and the food to die for. I recommend it 100 percent, you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is my go-to- one and only Italian I will be frequenting when in the mood for good Italian/ fusion food. Everytime I try to order a different dish from the menu and am never disappointed. The service is amazing, the waiters make you feel at home. The food comes out fast and the portions are big, enough for sharing. We have had the Polpo(octopus), lobster Ravioli, Pizza, etc. Highly recommend this restaurant and their dishes. I love the team of good chefs they have in the kitchen, for I only know their food and it is very consistent and oh so yummy. I am a returning customer for sure.

Truly great experience from the welcoming with Kiriana to the timing of water service, wine, hot food and not overcooked to the time of dessert. I was pleased to have my perfectly cooked seabass at the right temperature, my glass of water and wine were never empty, but all service was personalized and catered so it do not feel like were being upsold or rushed. The gold medal was leaving my designer pair of glasses and find them safe and guarded when I returned to the restaurant. The host has reassured me that nothing gets lost there (I didn’t believe it) until she came with a smile handing me my sun glasses. Definitely an experience to have if you are looking for yummy, hot great quality food, great ambiance and service.

I recently visited and the food was great. I order the Parmesan chicken and it was very filling. Service was good and the waiters were attentive. The only thing I would say is that they don’t give anything for it being your birthday. They ask if there is a special event, but they don’t give anything. Other than than, 10/10 experience.

The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was beautifully presented, too. The service was quick, and the staff made great recommendations, Franchesca provide a good service . I also loved the overall vibe of the place — it’s perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a family outing.

My 3rd visit and the best yet! Andres at the bar was fantastic — from wine selections to great service, I’d come back just to sit with him. Sasha was amazing, her food descriptions made my choice perfect. Spinach dip was spectacular, carbonara was delicious, and the crème brûlée ended the night beautifully. Outstanding service start to finish!

I've never been here before, and I gotta say, it was super awesome! I ordered this cheese wheel pasta dish, and that was amazing. This lady brings out the biggest cheese wheel and makes my pasta right on the cheese wheel! She also explains the history of the cheese , which was 18 months aged and such. They perfectly cooked my medium rare steak with it, and I paired the pasta with a really good smoked old fashion. If you didn't like a smoked old fashion in the past, this is the place to try it again. Sometimes, when you reuse the smoker too much, it can taste burnt. They use a method that, that will never happen! It's great. They also use spiced brown sugar instead of simple syrup, and that brings a great new flavor to the drink. A must try! The atmosphere was amazing, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. Cheers!

I went to Divietto Restaurant for my anniversary today and it was truly a 10/10 experience. I have been coming here consistently for years. The food was absolutely amazing, but what stood out most was how special they made the occasion. They surprised us with champagne and even gifted me flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. I am so thankful to the staff for going above and beyond to make an already special day unforgettable. Highly recommend Divietto for both incredible food and outstanding hospitality!

Absolutely amazing experience the food is an entire experience on its own. Completely recommend, it is not like any other itialian restaurant. My hubby got the steak lunch special and it was also cooked to perfection with an incredible mushroom sauce and truffle fries. I had the sea bass with risotto and pasta in pink sauce, and it was nothing short of perfection. The sea bass was cooked flawlessly—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. The risotto was creamy and rich, pairing beautifully with the delicate flavor of the fish. The pasta in pink sauce was a surprise favorite—silky, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared, and the combination of textures and flavors made the entire dish unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine seafood and comforting Italian cuisine!

The overall experience is soooo worth the price. The service was impeccable, the venue was impressive, the food delicious, and the overall experiences is in my top 5 favorites. I genuinely hope to come back my next visit to Doral. I've already made it home and I still can't stop thinking about the affogato.

Our server Catia was amazing. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we exited, she gave us the best experience. She was knowledgeable about drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. She also introduced to the Chef specials which were decadent. We will definitely be dining at the restaurant again.

Sasha has been absolutely amazing, she is great at her job, knows the menu, and was so extremely nice. She had a smile on her face the whole time and checked on us several times. I am definitely going to come again. Also, forgot to mention the important part, the food was absolutely amazing!

We celebrated our anniversary at Divieto's and the experience was excellent. The food was great. The Ruota Parmigiano was extra cheesy and tasted great. The ribeye was excellent as well

The restaurant has a beatiful, and comfortable environment. The waters are very sweets and profesional!! The food is good but I was expecting more!! It's a little expensive!!! the pasta Alfredo, is only pasta, if you want to add chicken is $9 or $10 and the portion served is poor for the price!! The lady that prepared the pasta in the cheese did not explain nothing and just do it next to one person in the table. Therefore, if another person ask for the same plate she just takes it to their seat, so the person sitting in the opposite corner saw nothing of the "show". If you table is big, more than 10 person if a waste of money because they only want to finish. Si fuistes con la idea de que te preparan tu pasta a tu lado ver el show q te expliquen algo de la pasta o del queso, te vas sin lograrlo porque ella es muda y ademas se para al lado de un solo, si no se paro a tu lado ni el queso grande ves. 'Matando y salando" I advice to buy only the pasta Alfredo without protein, or the pasta that come in the menu with some protein!!

The highlight of this experience was the service. Everyone, from the hostess upfront to our server (Katya?), was extremely attentive. And helpful Had a lighter lunch on a weekday. Second time having dinner at this location. The food was very good but pastas lacked more sauce, a little dry. The cannoli paired with my amaretto was delicious. Francesca, our server was amazing! Very sweet, excellent personality and very attentive.

It's hard for me to rate Italian restaurants, cause it's like how fancy can you make spaghetti and lasagna. I had spaghetti and meatballs. We came the day after vday and it was still booming and even though we had a reservation we still had to wait like 30 mins to be sat. I had a smoked Manhattan to drink and that was pretty cool, it came out in a special bottle and literally smoked when she poured it. The wood chip flavor really added to the body of the whiskey and bitters. It was really good. I'd say generally it was kinda dark in there and it's a small place. It's a good spot, my wife was unimpressed lol

Divieto came highly recommended, and I'm glad we took the suggestion. Our group of seven was comfortably seated at a round table, which worked perfectly for conversation despite the restaurant being at full capacity. Our waiter kept things moving smoothly, staying attentive with beverages and pacing the courses well. We leaned into the Italian menu and were rewarded with excellent ravioli, a ribeye that was both flavorful and cooked just right, and fresh, well-prepared salads. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I'd happily return. Make reservations

Not a great place to celebrate a birthday. I made reservations to celebrate my friend’s birthday, so there wasn’t a wait time. I clearly notified while making reservations and to the waiter that night that we were here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Since we arrived, I felt rushed. We ordered martinis a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers and dinner for all. The drinks were good, not exceptional. The risotto was good, chicken parm dinner was tasty, although the sauce tasted like ragu sauce, and the fettuccini dishes were plentiful, hit again missed the mark. I think the part of the evening that hit me the hardest was when the waiter came over and handed the birthday girl a dessert without singing happy birthday and without giving her a birthday card, which they typically do on such occasions. It broke my heart since we heard Happy birthday being sung numerous times around the restaurant and we’re pleasantly anticipating the same treatment at our table. All in all, including tip, that disappointment cost us $304. Not going there again.

Let’s start with the wait time. Without a reservation, I would not recommend dining here. We were told the wait would be 20–40 minutes, but it ended up being almost an hour and fifteen minutes. If possible, I strongly suggest making a reservation. Moving on to the drinks: the lychee martini and the smoky old fashioned were amazing. Unfortunately, the espresso martini was not good and had to be returned to the bar. For appetizers, we tried the spinach appetizer, which was delicious and full of flavor. However, the bruschetta with prosciutto is not recommended, as it lacked flavor and tasted mainly like prosciutto on plain bread. As for the entrées, the lamb ravioli (chef’s selection) was very disappointing. The lamb flavor overpowered the dish and didn’t pair well with the ravioli, and the lamb itself lacked seasoning. The main table side pasta had a beautiful presentation but was served cold. By the time the pasta reached the plate, it had already lost its temperature. The restaurant needs to improve food temperature or at least warn guests that this dish will not be served hot, instead warm/cold. I also asked for a recommendation and was told the salmon paired well with the pasta, but I strongly disagree. It felt like eating two completely different meals, and the flavors did not complement each other at all. I would not suggest ordering the pasta with the salmon. Overall, I don’t think I would return to this restaurant. My expectations did not match the experience I received.

Went for lunch. Party of 6. Most of us had the lunch specials which are fairly decent size plates and included soup or salad and a soda. 1st dish from the lunch menu was the New York strip lunch special. The meat was over cooked (Ordered Medium and came well done) and very bland. 2nd lunch menu dish was the chicken which was really good. 3rd lunch menu dish was the meatballs, and that one was also good. 4th lunch menu dish was the salmon, that one also was pretty good. Unfortunately I had the carbonara, which isnt a lunch special so it's regular menu. The carbonara was not that good. It doesn't include a side so no soup or salad, it's expensive and barely any flavor. Very bland as well. The service was very attentive, however it was extremely slow. The restaurant was somewhat busy. But you could see a lot of staff around. So not sure why it took so long to bring us out our food. We had to ask twice where the food was. I would say it took around 45 minutes to bring out our main courses. Overall I wasn't that impressed with this place. It's pricey and didn't like how long they took to get us our main dishes. I may not come back simply because it a little far from the office and I can't have a repeat of the lengthy time of service.

Usually the food is great, but tonight, and on my birthday coincidentally, the food was not great. The Parmesan wheel pasta came out very cold, my significant others chicken was very chewy and also cold, and worst of all, we ordered a crème brûlée to go and they both came out burnt, very disappointing…. We have been coming here a while but it seems that over time the quality has diminished. The food is too expensive to be anything less than great.

There was legitimately a ROACH (pictured) on my significant others chair that would’ve crawled on her if I hadn’t seen it. Valentine’s Day we went there and even though the food was good we couldn’t believe it when we saw a roach. I tried to be professional and called over a manager so we could move tables and she told me they had just fumigated. I really don’t care what had been done, that is just absolutely disgusting. We were on table 34 or 35, which is very far from the front door and right next to the kitchen. Either they have roaches in the kitchen or the roach survived walking through an entire “fumigated” restaurant. Oh and to top it all off (I didn’t ask for a discount but they should’ve given it to me for free and paid my gas) no discount was ever offered and they just sorta apologized and that was that.

Dear Divieto Corporate Team, I am writing to formally share a very disappointing experience I had at your Doral location on December 20th, during what was meant to be a special celebration—my 35th birthday. I had a reservation at Divieto to celebrate my birthday with five close friends. Shortly after being seated, I ordered an espresso martini. I was asked for my ID and explained to the server that I had accidentally left it at home and lived too far to retrieve it. I offered to show a clear photo of my ID and explained that it was my birthday and that I was turning 35. The server was kind and initially indicated she would be able to accommodate me. However, shortly after, a manager intervened and informed me that I would not be served under any circumstances due to not having a physical ID. While I understand and respect the importance of following policy, the manner in which the situation was handled lacked sensitivity, especially given the context of a birthday celebration and the obvious fact that I am well over the legal drinking age. What was most upsetting was not just the refusal itself, but the attitude that followed once I expressed my disappointment. The interaction became uncomfortable, dismissive, and lacked empathy. When my birthday cake was returned, it was done so with visible irritation, and the staff appeared largely unfazed by how the situation affected my evening. I chose Divieto to celebrate an important milestone in my life, and as a regular customer, I expected a higher level of professionalism and care. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling embarrassed, undervalued, and disappointed. My birthday plans were effectively ruined, and my group ultimately decided to leave and celebrate elsewhere, where we were treated with kindness and respect. I am sharing this not to argue policy, but to highlight how customer experience and discretion—especially on special occasions—matter deeply. A more thoughtful and compassionate approach would have made a significant difference. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as I have always enjoyed Divieto and would like to continue being a loyal customer. I believe this experience fell far below the standard your brand represents.
