THE BEST FINDING! Just by fortune we found this incredible restaurant. Stepped out a friend’s exhibit in a Gallery in Little River, and not wanting to drive…VOILA! In a truly quiet cul de sac street is this very busy charming place. Immediately greeted by the owner and chef’s wife, not expecting anything and finding wow! She’s Colombian, he’s Italian, what better combination. I wasn’t really hungry but couldn’t leave without trying what the menu had for us. Ordered the homemade truffle tortellini with pecorino that were done to perfection, truly al dente and very delicate and bold at the same time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to come back! Honest prices and fun informal atmosphere. So hard to find places like this in Miami, no wonder their reviews are consistently ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing! The Colombian-Italian couple who own it make you feel like you’re right at home from the moment you step in. Every meal here takes me back to my childhood, reminding me of the comfort and love of my grandmother’s kitchen. The food is incredible—full of tradition and flavor—and the live music on certain nights just adds to the cozy vibe. Definitely a 5/5 experience! The food at D’Ivo 79 Cucina is delicious and we finished everything on our plates! The chef uses fresh, quality ingredients and makes the pastas. We tried 2 pinsas- one was the Dolce Picante, which was sweet and spicy, perfectly balanced, and a must try. The chef even came to our tables and served us some of our food. It is a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming again and especially want to continue supporting small businesses in Miami.

We visited this Saturday and had an excellent experience. We had several items at our table of six. Stating with the Octopus two ways it was incredible a must try. Also others had the Lamb shank that fell off the bone. Also tried the Burrata and the Steak. Everything was excellent. Service was very attentive. This a neighborhood gem that is a must try!!!

What an amazing find this place!!! Absolutely delicious Italian restaurant!!! Everything we tried was fantastic! Really fresh ingredients and the flavors were just incredible! I really recommend the Branzzino fish filet, and off course the pasta! One of the best bolognese I’ve ever had. Ask for the reserve Italian wine selections, chef will recommend you great Italian wines. The place is very cozy and the decoration is very artistic! The location is pretty neat also.

Amazing hidden local gem! The food is incredible and fresh. Very kind staff also. It is in a very random parking lot that you can easily pass by, but don't let that stop you. We have been at this restaurant 2 times in less than a month and have ordered 2 more times during weekdays! The pinsa (Roman pizza) is just out of this world! Last time we had items from the specials to try something different and we were delighted!! The beer is super cold, the service is outstanding. This is for you Caterina! 💫. We ordered almost everything in the menu because they all wanted to try something different. Everything was outstanding including the service.
