Restaurant is located underground (a flight of stairs). I don't recall seeing an elevator. Paid street parking is nearby. i attended for 'Happy Hour' which started at 5pm. The restaurant was filled with a cool red lighting effect. The menu was limited in terms to actual meals but they had alot of options for different flavours of sushi rolls. Drinks were Buy 1 GET one and decently prices. The bathroom was very clean and our server was very nice. The have a karaoke night.

Man, this place was awesome!!! The server was the best we have ever had, she knew her stuff and was good! Atmosphere was great and all around excellent experience. So glad we chose to come here, the sushi was unbelievable!! Definitely will be back.

This was by far the most memorable part of our visit to Miami. Jordan was an amazing bartender. He was quite personable and very entertaining. He gladly explained anything we were unsure of and he was able to stay attentive while handling all of his other orders and generating a welcoming karaoke atmosphere. I see many folks who are annoyed with karaoke but that's the whole point. I only had a sample of their sushi as my girlfriend doesn't eat it often and we only ordered a California roll. From what I saw and heard however it was a tremendous place to order. The drinks they served were excellent and they served it in a manner that is unforgettable. I will happily be coming back this evening to continue the fun but with a lot less drinks as my wallet won't take another crazy night haha. When in town I'd say stop by and visit Jordan and the rest of their great staff at Tokyo Club.

I went for the sushi master class last Saturday and it was such a fun unique experience. The service was impeccable, and they took the time to cater to our needs and make sure we were enjoying the experience. The class was easy to follow along and the teachers (both bartender and sushi chef) were very skilled and kept us engaged the entire time. 10/10 recommend for any local or tourist looking for something different to do on a Saturday!

Full disclosure: I was invited by the Tokyo Club team. That being said, this is an honest review. I am a fan. Simple point blank. Don't walk here, run. If you enjoy any type of raw fish, this place is must go, do not miss. They start out with the best quality fish that I have ever eaten, and quality makes all the difference. The tuna is cut and has no tendons. The fish is so fresh and plump, you will wonder what you've been eating in other places. Seriously, it might have ruined me for tuna tartare as I might have a problem eating it elsewhere now. The octopus was perfectly grilled and not a bit chewy but the ultimate bite. The salmon is a great accompaniment in the Wakame salad. Alas, I've jumped the gun. The Japanese Dragon is a remarkable drink that you should try at least once. It's on the sweeter side but is smoked and delivered to the table in a wooden box. A treat! We went for some rolls and think we picked well. The Queen Roll, The South Beach Roll, and the Bikini Roll, were delectable and we devoured them. Again here, the unagi, salmon, shrimp, and tuna were so fresh that we couldn't stop eating. I recommend getting one of the sushi boats and going all in. You won't regret it. In terms of price, it corresponds well to the quality provided. I dare say that the experience will leave you feeling that it was such a value. Let's talk about the atmosphere. It's a small space that feels exclusive and private. You enter through a side door and descend the steps before re-emerging into a space that could be a karaoke bar in Japan. Yes. you can sing karaoke here of that's your thing. Service was friendly and attentive. Make your reservation with the beautiful Elona and ask for Jason's table. You will be well attended. A Plus Recommends. Had an amazing experience at this sushi spot! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a treat. What really made the visit even better was the service. Our waitress, Valentina, was incredible! She was so attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. We did a girls night out and decided to do the Mojito and Sushi master class. At first I thought it was a bit over priced but what they teach and what they give you was so worth it!!! They gave us a complimentary drink, I was not expecting, and it was soooo good! The way they set up everything to make your mojito was just so pretty and neat. Even though im not a fan of mojitos I loved learning about the components. Learning about the sushi was great too! I can definitely take those techniques and make my own at home. They also gave us green tea shots and 2 pieces of the rice with salmon and lemon zest, that was delicious! I would highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for something unique and different in Miami.

We ate at the Tokya club 5-13-23. The food sushi was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the Japanese queen boat. Being just 2 people we had to take some home. We will be enjoying this for our breakfast. I will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

I must admit I wasn’t sure about this place in the beginning because it has a club vibe (music videos, loud music and laser lights) but the food was amazing! Everything we had was delicious! And our waitress Renata as superb, Would definitely recommend and will come back when I’m in town.

The food display was exquisite. They were super friendly! We with with Jose and it was a true experience i def recommend. The sushi boat was the cherry on top. 12/10 service. Such good sushi and dessert. The shrimp with terraki sauce was to die for seriously.

Honestly, had a great time here. It’s a small place but the vibes are immaculate. I have a gluten allergy, and they were extremely accommodating. I didn’t get sick after, the waiter made sure to watch as the chef made the food. I’m extremely impressed as most places here were unsafe due to cross contamination. The food was amazing too. Incredible sushi spot in the heart of south beach, side entrance on the south side of Fairwinds hotel at 1000 Collins! Beautiful interior and layout. I got the Sexy Roll and the 4 Amigos, thank you to the bartender Jordan for the exquisite Japanese dragon Cocktail.

I couldn't leave this place without a review becouse Tokyo Club exceeded my expectations. As I entered Tokyo Club, I was immediately struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made me feel right at home. I opted for the "Yellowtail Passion" starter, and boy, was I blown away! The presentation was simply stunning, and the freshness of the fish was unparalleled. Moving on to the sushi, I found myself enchanted by the quality and taste. While visiting Miami we stopped at Tokyo Sushi & Karaoke bar and we had an amazing time, we had amazing food and service. Our server was Renata and she was extremely helpful, friendly and kind. 10/10 definitely recommend this place. We had the Vulcan Roll 7/10 and super crab roll was 10/10 drinks were also super tasty.

Amazing experience, took my wife with group of our fiends to celebrate her birthday. The food was amazing, drinks were delicious, the ambience of the place is radiant and full of positive energy, the amazing dancer. I can’t leave out the best part of our experience was our server Renata. She was outstanding and made our experience amazing, going beyond to make sure it was first class experience. I highly recommend Tokyo sushi when you visit South Beach.

Wow! That’s the only thing I could say when I tried their sushi! My wife and I have had sushi from many places in the world, including some creative combinations in Brazil and some more traditional sushi in New Zealand and various places in the USA… and I have to say, this is by far, THE BEST SUSHI IN THE WORLD (or at least that I’ve tried so far). We were warmly greeted by Marcelo and Jordan who kindly served us! If you are looking for nice food and a good time, look no further, specially if you love sushi like I do! Karaoke is a BONUS!!! Super fun! Thank you for the awesome service and we’ll definitely come back!

I went to Tokyo with my friends We started with some adamame as appetizer, it was crunchy and delicious , with some drinks as the “Japanese dragon” and the “emperor margarita” , amazing flavor and presentation ! Then we had the spicy tuna roll , night to remember (my favorite ) and the crispy salmon . I tried before a lot of sushi restaurants so I can say the food is Super Fresh ! Great quality ! And also great service ofc ! Fast and clean ! the karaoke was an extra, really fun ! Thank you tokyo club for make this night a great one !

Not from the area and stumbled upon this place offering a three course sushi and burlesque show. Was intrigued enough to give it a shot and overall very glad I did! The sushi and drinks were five star! Seriously blew what ever place i had sushi at a day or two prior out of the water! The show was also really good, it was only three songs and pretty short but entertaining. Only draw back is the place is in a basement and is tiny. Not all tables have a good view due to a large pillar in the middle however we were like one of three tables there so we ended up moving seats twice with no problems. Then after the three songs, a DJ came in and cleared out a bunch of the tables to set up. We decided to leave at that point. It was a bit like the place has a small identity crisis. Again though the food and service were top notch! I’d go back just for that yellowtail.

Excellent space for eating sushi. I have tried a lot of sushi in my life, and not a single one can even compare to the melting pot of flavors that it produces in your mouth. The fish is fresh, and the combination of flavors is fantastic. The drinks are excellent, the mixologist behind them really knows what they're doing, and the quality of the alcohol can't be beaten. I highly recommend this place. Don't miss the opportunity to try the ebi roll and the Japanese dragon, they're worth every penny.

Y'all, when I say this place is the truth for sushi and karaoke... It is not an understatement!! When you walk in you are immediately greeted by a beautiful floral staircase. I came here to celebrate my Birthday with my friends. We ordered the edamame, crunchy shrimp, and sushi boat. It was all delicious! We loved the ambiance and the enthusiasm of the servers. Always stay at the fairwind hotel when I’m in Miami ( couple times a year) this experience was enhanced when Edwardo recommended the food from Tokyo club. Even though I ordered late at night to the bar the food was on point. Since I was dining alone I ordered multiple appetizers and will say everything was delicious not to mention very aesthetically, pleasing and fresh, . Fantastic night out at Tokyo Club! Their cocktails and even non-alcoholic juices were fantastic and the sushi was the best I've ever had. Got their Super Crab Roll and Night to Remember rolls, and highly recommend both! Very rich flavor palette. In addition to great food and drinks, the cool atmosphere and karaoke fun were wonderful. I'm only in Miami one more night, so we are coming back again tomorrow for sure! 😀

My friends and I came here to do karaoke, and this place exceeded our expectations! Our waitress was this beautiful woman who was kind and helpful. The sushi was some of the best I have ever had. I got the Tempura Queen roll, Tokyo Club roll, and the Mochi dessert. Karaoke was fun, and they allow you to pick whatever song you want. Overall, we felt welcome and comfortable, and I will definitely stopping in next time I'm in Miami.

The best sushi in South Beach for sure! The drinks are delicious and match with the seafood 🦞 You have to try the Shrimps bowl and the Dragon mule (is a new version for Moscow mule). Of course I’ll come back to Tokyo club!

If you are in SOBE and want the best sushi! Stop by here, don’t be nervous to walk down! It’s just a location. I along with my friends have had sushi from all over the world and this is one of, if not the best tuna, etc. The staff is fantastic and very friendly so stop by for a great meal that you will not regret !!!! It’s very fresh sushi!! Lay off the smoke, and the drinks are second to none!!

Definitely a good spot.... Sushi is really good. Service is good.... I do hope they have extra help once they get busy. I do not agree that casamigos should be the house tequila at 19 bucks. Karaoke is fun here.. Just turn up the karaoke soundtrack. Definitely worth going.

It was a good experience! Food is a little pricey, but good, great service! Only negative is they have a pretty limited playlist to choose from for the karaoke, a lot of songs are locked :(

Definitely a good spot.... Sushi is really good. Service is good.... I do hope they have extra help once they get busy. I do not agree that casamigos should be the house tequila at 19 bucks. Karaoke is fun here.. Just turn up the karaoke soundtrack. Definitely worth going.

Food was brilliant so was drinks, atmosphere was bit lower, but maybe a was just too early, since there was no one, bartender was nice, but would expect more interaction when you are only person at place (specially when I sit at bar)

Tasty sushi in a very cool atmosphere! The rolls are all very delicious with a lot of unique options like those with cream cheese. The sashimi is also really good - the salmon is very tender and buttery. The cocktails are also really yummy and so are the appetizers! The service isn't very fast but otherwise the experience was pretty great!

One of those places you only go once. The ambiance is cool super different speak easy vibes hidden . The music is good on tv but the karaoke people are drunk and annoying. The service was really good and attentive. The food honestly 3* they first mention the tuna , yellow tale and salmon appetizers are thin cut (fine slices) but they are NOT they are big chunks of fish. Not my favorite for tataki tradito style fish. The tuna was good , yellow tale missing flavor just plain with some eggs on top. The salmon crab was good but mostly just salty with some sauce on the side. The night crawler roll was our favorite. The queen roll was alright . Overall expensive with 20% gratuity included but not worth the quality and flavor of the food. Drink was good comes in a pretty treasure box. $20 each drink but after the 3rd drink no special box just handed to you . For the price I should have gotten the whole experience every time. Overall better sushi places in Miami for better prices . I wouldn’t come back

Don’t come here if you just want to sing karaoke and eat some sushi. Paid $60 for one roll and one drink. No roll on the menu is below $18. Also when we asked for water the waitress, Valentina, was low key kind of deceptive and said she would bring a bottle for us to share. I assumed she would bring a bottle of water (pitcher style) to share. But it was actually bottled water and failed to mention that each bottle was $5. There is a service charge and that is not considered tip. My friends paid $160 for two rolls and two drinks. Just seems excessive to me. The cabaret dancer was nice but it’s a far cry from a real show and has no stage. None of us will be returning and would not recommend it to tourists or locals. There are better sushi places that are far more affordable. If you trying to impress a date with how much you are willing to pay for a date, maybe this is the spot for you. Otherwise, not worth it. Valentina, you know damn well when we asked for water, we didn’t want bottled water we would be charged for and you should have disclosed that. Shame on you.

I liked our server, and the mustard roll. It wasn't busy and the kitchen took awhile. It was very expensive for the quaintly and quality of drinks. We left after spending over $100 and we were still hungry. I was hoping the roll size, for the prices would be bigger. Atmosphere was ok, you are underground in a loud bar setting. The restaurant was empty and the food came out quickly, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The miso soup was extremely salty, and the rolls didn’t have much flavor. We asked for low-sodium soy sauce, but they only had a gluten-free option. Overall, the food was far too salty. On top of that, there were mosquitoes flying around the table. When we mentioned it to the waitress, her response was simply, “I can’t help you.

Its not a speak easy. Its just a tiny restaurant in a basement with a bar. Drinks were pricey and decent and service was bare minimum. Overall i felt deceived by the photos and the title they claim because if you been to a real speak easy you would know right away this is just a tiny restaurant with a non Japanese staff claiming to a speak easy. 2 drinks costs us around $50.

Food was mediocre, service was terrible. Waiter was rude and table wasn’t clean. I’ve been to much better sushi restaurants for much less money. If you are in the area I would go elsewhere.

The overall experience was unpleasant, the place had an off-putting smell as soon as I walked in, and the food was far from great. The prices were outrageously high for the quality, and even the drinks were overpriced. The customer service was terrible. The young waitress who was working seemed completely overwhelmed, unfriendly, and came across as rude. It really brought down the whole experience. This establishment seriously needs to take a hard look at its reviews and make some major changes. Between the poor service, bad atmosphere, and subpar food, I won’t be coming back.

Avoid for sushi! Unclear on why this place has such good reviews. We eat sushi in every city around the world and this was the most disappointing sushi. They over cook the rice and make a rice paste, their wasabi was also a strange consistency. The miso soup was inedible. Pricey drinks and rolls to boot. Very nice waitress tho.

You’d think a place with 4.8 stars on Google would actually have good food, then again the reviews are over a year old. We were seated immediately but the tables were not cleaned properly. We had to ask for a table to be wiped down, but she just moved us to a different table. It took forever for us to get drinks(which was just a lemonade and soda), we had to ask twice for our water after our server immediately forgot. We were there for almost an hour before we finally got our food. The price is not worth the quality. I got the $33 “Tokyo Club” rolls and as soon as I ate one roll I gagged, the fish was rubbery and hard to chew, the “eel” did not look or taste like eel. Even my friend said the eel in her rolls did not taste right either. I did not want to eat anymore. I told the waiter that I was not going to eat this and what was wrong with it and I want it taken off the bill since I only ate one roll and it was disgusting. It’s like he didn’t understand what I was telling him. He left as I was telling him what was going on which was insane. He did not come back to our table, I had to get up and go up to him to pay the bill. The “discount” he gave us was $11 off the meal. I still paid $22 for the meal—which is the equivalent to a regular plate of specialty rolls— even though I did not touch it after one roll. At that point I just wanted to leave. I was angry and just wanted to get rid of the stress of it. We ended up grabbing gelato nearby to cope with the experience 😅 Still, horrible customer service, horrible food, insane prices. Save your money!!
