Great food selection, the meat cooked on the spot
Wow, Pinolandia truly delivers an outstanding Latin food experience that has quickly become my favorite! I recently visited and was absolutely blown away, particularly by their famous Carne Asada. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, especially when paired with that fantastic orange sauce – it’s a must-try. The quality of the meat is simply top-notch, making every bite satisfying. Beyond the carne asada, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the yuca and plantains were. I'm usually quite particular about plantains, but theirs were exceptionally flavorful and cooked to perfection, changing my mind completely! The Gallo Pinto also complemented the meal beautifully, rounding out an authentic and delicious plate. What also impressed me was the incredible value. You get a really generous amount of food for the price, which is fantastic. Despite the popularity, the service was surprisingly fast and incredibly friendly, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Yes, there might be a bit of a wait, but honestly, it’s a small price to pay for such consistently delicious and authentic Latin cuisine. Pinolandia is definitely a gem I'll be returning to again and again!
I ordered the Carne Asada with Gallo pinto rice, plantains, and fritanga cheese. OMG everything was delicious 👌 the steak had good seasoning. For dessert, we ordered the Tres Leches and went to their little store located in the back to order some more Nicaraguan specialties. Even you haven't tried the Cacao drink, I would totally recommend it. We also bought Cocada (the pink little coconut squares), Quesillo, and Duro (the ice cream in a baggie - the pink one is coconut and it was delicious). 10 out of 10, would recommend ❤️❤️❤️
5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The carne asada with the orange sauce is amazing! Meat is tender, soft and juicy! Would recommend. 2. The yuca and plantain were incredible! I normally don’t like plantains but this is different! So flavorful 3. Fast service and checkout 4. Nice variety of items to choose from. 5. The price is good for the amount of food you get! You get a lot of food for 15-16 dollars
I find this establishment to be quite enjoyable, and the Nicaraguan cuisine is truly delicious.
Wow latin food is best in town! Carne asada was delicious and satisfying. Service is great . Only down side is there's a big wait in line but that can be expected it's such a great business.
Traditional and authentic Nicaraguan Fritanga served to order. Amazing food, they serve a lot of quantity and the quality is great as well. Huge selection on snacks and juices. The cacao is the best! Even if you see the big line of people waiting to take their order, wait it out because it moves pretty fast.
Anytime I eat fritanga anywhere else I regret it soooooo much and the craziest part is pino has the cheapest one in Miami $16.99 don’t forget to grab a cacao from the back 😍
The food is always amazing when I go. This is a nicaragua type food place and if you’re looking for a good fulfilling meal to eat during your lunch or dinner, I really recommend this place. I’ve been going here ever since I was a kid and I’ve never stopped going. I really recommend getting a classic plate which is gallo pinto rice and fried cheese with an order of fried plantains and grilled steak called carne asada in spanish. If you’re looking for a bev that ties it all together, I recommend getting the cacao. It’s so good.
Lunch time must. You will get a filled up with tasty food at a great price. I get a plate with carne asada, arros moro, sweet plantains, and fried cheese. The meat can sometimes be chewy, but there are several other protien options. There is a area to sit and eat as well.

Do you like Nicaraguan food? This is your spot. Get in get out. Grab your food and leave. Don’t be in anybody’s way. Delicious stuff do not hesitate and don’t miss this place.
One of the best seasoned pieces of carne asada in Miami. Can be long lines at time but you’ll get an entree and two sides for $15. I can’t even it in one sitting. May not seem like the best area in town but I would say it’s fairly safe. This place is definitely on the rotation.
My go-to place for authentic, ethnic, Nicaraguan food! I can get my corn tortillas made fresh, a variety of fresh juices, gallo pinto and maduros, and let’s not forget the plantain chips! Delish
Great food and great service. Open late night also which is amazing 💪🏽
Food was incredible with many options that I hadn’t tried before such as deep fried cheese. Fortunately I know how to order in Spanish as the cooks did not speak much English, but they were friendly anyways. Food was appropriately priced for how much you get and then some! Definitely recommend
Great food and very fast service. I recommend this place
I found this place by chance because I was going to the bank across the street and the “carne asada” smell was so enticing. The steak was delicious and tender despite not being expensive, just $14 for a meal big enough for two people. It is a little humble place with great Nicaraguan food and prices!
The food is tasteful and cooked well. The place is nice and clean. My family and I had the carne asada, gallo pinto and tajada (grilled steak, red beans with rice and fried thin green plaintains). The place is clean which is a plus! They also have a small market inside, which sells Nicaraguan treats, ice cream, chicharrons (pork rinds), some other bakery items and some other items. There's even tables outside to sit. They have a parking lot down the block, which is great you dont have to circle the blocks looking for parking, nor pay for parking. Two downfalls are: some customers are rude, and the food is greasy. The food being greasy its typical in this type of food.
The food was good and the people was nice but I think they need to learn a little bit more English
Worth the line and wait! Cant beat the price for the food you get steak rice beans fried cheese and plantains. Several other options too. One stop shop!
La comida esta tan buena!!! Best Carne Asada IMO in Miami. You definitely get a good amount of food when you go. I personally pass on the Queso Frito here because it's to grainy & rubbery when you bite into it. Cana Brava has the best Queso Frito in Miami. Location is open 24hrs, always lovely. Recommend this spot if you're in the Little Havana/Downtown area. Plato favorito - Carne Asada con Maduros y Gallo Pinto.
A king or queen meal. Found this place as one of the best Nicaraguan food in Miami and they're right. Line moves quick. Most gets the same thing. Gallo pinto (rice and beans), queso (fried cheese), Maduro (sweet plantains), carne asada (beef). So good, I come here once a week. Highly recommended!
Never fails being our go-to for late night bites and meals! Been coming here for years and we will continue to do so🙌🏽
It gets busy really fast food was really good and they give you huge portions. You order the food and then you can sit down on the other side. In the back you got a small convenience store that sell drinks, nicaraguan clothes and a small bakery. Over all it was really nice
We stopped for dinner after work ,and wow what a place ,line out the door but so worth it ..huge portions 2 large steaks chunks,a large slice of cheese (fried) plenty of rice bean mix and fried plantains after you order your food you go through a door and order your drinks ,juices or soda I went with the Orange/Carrot juice.. We found a table to sit down and enjoy and it was so good the Carne Asada perfectly cooked ,juicy not tough or hard ,Rice/Beans mix was so good ,the fried Cheese was so unique!! they also give a side of chimichuri and a little bag of cabbage salad, the plantains were like a desert, just the right amount of sweet but not too sweet ..and the Orange/Carrot Juice was perfect !! Highly recommended 😎👍✨️🥩🫘🍌🍊🥕🙌🏽🙌🏽
It is one of the most convenient places in Miami. Opened 24 hours, it is the perfect spot for late night hungers . The food is delicious. Great prices and a 5-star service make this place a most do and try . I really recommend 👌 it. Thanks, Pinolandia, for the great time you had me have .
It's not a sit down and order type restaurant. You order in a line, buy your drink in the store inside, and then seat yourself. Not formal, but absolutely delicious and open 24 hours a day with fresh food cooked continuously!
This is a delicious local place with good food. The food is absolutely delicious and so different from anything I had tried before. I would recommend being patient with the staff if your experience with what each food is, is limited. Our server was so kind, explaining what each thing was. The dessert dish is delicious, think a dense pancake. The carne asada was so moist and fresh, we absolutely loved it. The rice and beans were the best we had while in Miami. I would recommend this location to anyone as it's local, a great price and probably different than any other place you are thinking about going.
Whenever I visit Miami, I always make a point to stop by Pinolandia. It's hands down the best fritanga in the city! The flavors are just out of this world, and the portion sizes are so generous that my husband and I can easily share a plate. It's impressive how much it's changed over the years. What used to be a little hole in the wall has transformed beautifully. They've added a seating area, making the ambiance really nice and inviting. My go-to order is their carne asada, gallo pinto, tajadas, fried cheese, and the Cole salad. Every bite is just heavenly. Omg, so delicious! Good thing they are open 24 hours, you can go anytime.
We went at around 4pm on a Saturday and the line was not too long. The carne asada was bursting with flavor despite the meat not being a prime cut. The carne asada is best eaten while fresh, once we brought it home and ate it later in the day it was tough. The queso frito was also a surprisingly tasty addition to the meal that I never thought possible. The plantains and beans were also very good. Overall, this place is good for some cheap eats.
Delicious nicaraguan food. The carne asada is always right off of the grill 24/7, they also have an attached store selling nicoya drinks like Cacao, pitahaya, semilla de jicaro etc. Along with dishes like enchiladas, flautas de pollo y res, maduro en gloria, y rosquillas. I love pinolandia and this location now features a first come first served sitting area too.
We have visited this place many times and the food is awesome. Staff is polite. Will come back.
This place is packed at all hours of the day, every day. It's for very good reason though, the food here is incredible. I didn't even really specify what I wanted because I am a little shy in places that speak primarily Spanish so I just told her to make me the popular box. Great decision as everything was incredible from the plantain, the beans and rice, the cheese, to the meat. And the amount of food you get for $15, can't beat it. Definitely good reason for this place always being busy.
This was my first time trying Nicaraguan food and I absolutely loved it! Fair warning, everyone speaks Spanish-luckily, a gentleman was kind enough to translate for me and on my behalf lol! I tried the carne asada, fried plantains, fried cheese, and the rice and beans. Super flavorful and so good! And others have said, the line was out the door, so you know it’s a good spot!
The only thing that they can do better is to play bad bunny or just good music inside while waiting! We order Uber for pick up! Service is good in person but hard to communicate if you don’t speak Spanish. And the food is good but beware you will get bloated if you eat too much! I usually eat the steak and just some rice on the side. The fried cheese may cause a tummy ache. Ask for the sauce!!!!!! It’s so good on the steak and rice.
The best Nicaraguan fritanga. The meat and fríe cheese is my favorite. My son wants to eat here every week!
The food is delicious and autentica comida tipica de Nicaragua! It's like a cafeteria style where you can order what you want. The carne asada was tender and flavorful! The platanos maduros were cooked perfectly and were so sweet! The gallo pinto was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! The queso frito could be fried a little more and the enchiladas could be a little bigger. There is self seating and a little shop where you can get quesos, Milca, picos and other smaller things. We were very happy with the food, but wish there was a menu with prices. It would make ordering easier.
Incredible value, please get the carne asada. Every meal and plate in this beautiful Nicaraguan restaurant is a smash hit. People from all over the Caribbean and South America can find dishes here that will impress you. Simple counter service restaurant with a sit down restaurant menu and a price that even the budget weary epicurean can enjoy. The staff is so kind and it’s a joy to watch them work, you get the feeling that they’re a family that enjoys working together and you can taste that love in the food. I’ve had days where I’ve eaten here 3 times, every meal the same plate hahaha! It’s opened 24 hours and the quality of the food and the service never dips!

Food services slow, but not too slow. They need to fix the grill venting system. And NO restrooms for customers
A friend of ours that we met at the conference at Marlins Park said we had to eat here for great Nicaraguan food. We loved it so much we did it again the next day. First it's an easy walk from the park. The food is great as you can see. The ladies are very professional and do understand a little english. I recommend having someone that speaks spanish. It's just easier. One warning- drinks are bought in the mini store inside the restaurant. They cab be busy and I waited 15 minutes for water because there was only one nice lady working behind the counter and 17 of us in line. The food is a lot for $10. You will love it. And the fried cheese is da bomb!!!
Food is okay, appearance. I'm not so bad service. You have to wait in line before you can taste the goodness of Nicaraguans.
Been eating from this restaurant for over 20 years and the food is still delicious! Portions are plentiful. The location has expanded and offers more seating than before. The parking is not great, mostly off street parking so be patient and the line to order can be long but the restaurant and specialty market are well worth it.
Workers here work efficiently, no time wasted. Churrasco was delicious with the Nicaraguan rice and Ripe Plantains. Maybe they should give some kind of sauce for the Churrasco. $45 dollars for 3 of those same orders with taxes. No drink purchased. There's a seating area, and also some sort of Convenience Store there too. Areas generally look clean.
What can I say about this place That hasn’t been said. This is a Miami staple for anyone looking to get a delicious and heavy Nicaraguan plate, especially after a long night of clubbing/drinking as this location is opened 24 hours a day and always has an amazing steak scent from the moment you park outside. This restaurant is a must visit for anyone coming to Miami for their first time! It does get smokey in there so expect to come out smelling like food
The food is AMAZING!! Totally worth the drive. The only down side is the location of this place, there isn’t a designated parking lot. You have to park blocks away most of the time and pay for parking, then walk to the restaurant. The other thing that is not so good about it is the size of the place itself!! There is barely any place to order and there is a very limited sitting area. There are about 4 benches outside the location, very uncomfortable to stay and eat your food while is still hot. Also the area is not so good, there could be sometimes random people coming in and out asking you for money or to buy them food. That was very very uncomfortable!! Definitely do NOT go there alone because the staff that work there won’t really do anything to help you when random people come inside their restaurant asking you for money!! I would say order to go and be quick about it to be safe, because the food is really good.
Great food and good prices. Long line to get served
Food was good, place was very clean the portions were normal not huge amounts like I've seen advertised in past postings for a single serving expect to spend $10 to $12. I spent about $18 I ordered carne asada with Gallo pinto, plantains and fried cheese a breakfast platter with an extra cheese and two drinks. All in all it was a good service and the food was great, if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely come back.

Very good food so fast and clean. Parking is is trouble but always found it! the cacao is the best!!!
Basically a steak-focused "Pollo Tropical." Price was around $10. FYI, this is located in Little Havana; in other words: it's way easier if you speak Spanish. For being open till 2 am, it's good.
This is a very good place to eat for a great value. The food is well prepared on a grill and the portions that are doled out for each patron are more than ample. The aroma that emits from this establishment will draw you straight into the lobby and have you wanting to sample a myriad selection of what is offered. Another advantage of this particular restaurant is that it is always open, yes 24 hours. Because of its popularity, you may find a short wait time that is well worth it. A great place to quash your hunger with great quality and portions. You can dine outside at tables and ample free parking is provided free for patrons. JE.
They have a big sign that says 24/7, someone should explain what that means. They close early on Wednesday at 11pm. That's not 24/7. Take down that sign. That's false advertising! Finally made there on a day they wasn't closed😂🤣. In downtown and need food late night! This is a option. Food will hold you over! This is an okay spot, definitely works on a late work night except Wednesday!

It’s ok just depends on the time you go and how fresh the food is. I usually get the grill chicken with fried cheese and rice/beans.
First time here. It's not a great place. The business has no parking, so you have to find a spot. It was night time, dark streets, so we drove in circles until a spot was available across the street and pay by phone for it. Only 1 restroom for a crowded place, behind the kitchen! Ladies: use your restroom at home- it was dirty. The dining area was fair. Won't return here ever.
It used to be THE spot to eat, but like all the good spots, they get greedy. Portions got smaller and the meat is not fresh. However, they are still charging more money
Another greedy company, Not sure how they keep raising the price, every time I check its been raised up again, At this rate they’re goin to be charging $40 per plate by next year.

The food was delicious, but becareful when paying because they may charge you extra without any notice. This lady charged me $1 extra dollar because I ordered my drink without ice and there was no sign around saying they will do so.

We were down in Wynwood doing a mural and really wanted to have Nicaraguan food, This was the closest place, we had to pay for parking, it was cafeteria style, the steak was really tough and dried up the rice and beans were OK but lacked flavor, the salad that is served with it was the only thing that was edible. The fried cheese was like rubber. If you really want great Nicaraguan food go to Los Ranchos’s
Food is good, but these people always mess up my order, second time in a row that i paid for something, and when i get home, i realize that something is missing and i overpaid for the food
Overhyped food, the good reviews are suspicious or they don't know how carne asada is supposed to taste. No prices are posted anywhere. I was charged $40 for 2 plates, definitely not worth it. None of the items were anything to write home about.
The convenience of 24hrs is great. However the food was poor quality based on what I’m used to. The rice was dry and overcooked, the birria was tough and difficult to eat. Overall it was disappointing. The atmosphere was dirty and they rushed you. Overall, disappointing and will not return.
Although I was impressed with the food when I first visited the location I immediately stopped going for two main reasons. They are supposed to be open until late night but most of the menu it’s NOT AVAILABLE DURING NIGHT time and the place doesn’t seemed to be properly cleaned. That’s enough for me not to visit the place anymore. They definitely have potential and a solid popularity to improve.

This place got great food but today December the 26 that everyone needs to work and eat, they play games and didn’t open at 6:00 is rush hour for breakfast and they say is 24/7 this is United States of America, this is not Nicaragua you should know that you need to respect your customers and be very careful with that. The owners need to make sure what kind of irresponsible employees they put in the front on days like these. I’m not coming back and gonna trash talk on you with all my friends. No recommended any more. I encourage the owners to check the cameras and watch how many customers the lost, that is money, and that is the reason why restaurants are made for.
Food was horrible and burnt , very rude and overpriced they even changed the price and made it more expensive without reason.. tasted like charcoal
Fried cheese tastes and texture is like plastic and the carne asada is tough.

Unfortunately, the meat was below expectations. It tasted dry and seemed to be poor quality. This is not what I was Expecting. Pinolandia is not the same.
Portions are huge but we were not able to get what we wanted. We asked for a little bit of everythingbut lady said they could not do that for us. They only allow you to get one thing, a combination of 3 per plate. I think this was ridiculous because we were asking for a little bit of everything we were going to pay. They kept telling us that if we asked for more things we had to pay more.. which we already knew this, thats why we were asking.
Horrible service. Horrible customer service. Gave 1 piece of meat with so much rice!!!! On the phone with them and attitude was given so much
If you like to eat the best toasted roaches in Little Havana: Go ahead, Yesterday it was my worst terrible experience in this type of Fritangas in my whole life living in Miami for over 30 years, this Pinolandia place is the worst Filthy and disgusting place Ever. But one more time if you like to eat fry ROACHES!! 🪳🪳🪳🪳Be my guest! 🤢🤢🤢
I came here because someone said the food serving size was great.... What a let down... When I got my little piece of carne asada I told her can you please give me another one She looked at me crazy and said they're all the same size... Clearly they're not... I should just waited 10 more minutes to go to a different location enjoyed a bigger plate... Please don't come here if you expect this service or good serving size... The food was ok
I visited this location at around 9:00 PM on a Wednesday night, 02/2021 for a taste of "Carne Asada, Gallo Pinto and a side of Vegetables" a Nicaraguan staple and ordered two portions to go. When I got home to my surprise I smelled a strong foul odor. As I started eating I noticed right away that the Vegetables had a particular sour and acitic taste similar to rotting food, which ruined the whole meal experience. To make a long story short, I had paid almost $30 for two disgustingly "Completas" that I had to throw away. To avoid the hassle, I did not go back to correct the problem, instead I preferred to cut my losses and mark this place on my black list as a Don't go Back restaurant. It's incosibable that a 24 hours restaurant can serve food in this condition. I'm positive that other patrons have had a similar bad experience with This now, don't go back place.
I’ve driven from Broward County multiple times to buy Nicaraguan food at this venue, but I don’t think I’ll be returning or recommending Pinolandia. White rice is undercooked, Gallo pinto is burnt, carne asada has no flavor at all (what happened to the naranja agria/ sour orange the meat is supposed to marinate in?). I had to throw away all the repollo because it was extremely salty. I love this food and don’t spend less than $120 to $150 dollars only to come home and find that what I wanted to share with my family is unacceptable. Pinolandia managers/owners: today I bought seven individual meals-each costs $15-$18 ? Won’t bother going to the Broward locations because the fattiest and cheapest cuts of meat are sold.
The steak is great. But they are so freaking stingy with their hot sauce. Like come on people!!! We order 6 order of steaks at a time and they don’t give us a single hot sauce unless we beg. And 100% of the time they will not give you hot sauce if you order delivery. You guys owe me like 80 hot sauces and I want them. Tell your boss we need to make a deal
The reason I'm giving one star, it's because I ordered a stuffed chicken for Christmas. The problem was, the chicken was so tough, it wasn't cook enough, I couldn't be able to cut it through the joints, I used my bare hands and even doing so it was so hard to break it apart, I believe this chicken was caught on the street, it was wild and old, the meat was so though, it didn't fall off of the bone which was supposed to happened like the ones from pollo tropical or la granja restaurant, it wasn't cooked enough, our dinner was a disaster, we also ordered salad and they gave one small dressing container for such big salad, awful, the only good thing was the rice pudding, which was excellent so delicious. Shame on you guys, you shouldn't offer this menu if you wouldn't be able to fulfill it satisfactorily, next time try to get young chickens and not that old and cook it throughly preferably. There is a saying that goes like this: don't bite more that you chew it. Think about this.
If I could give negative stars I would. The food is alright. I can say that. But watch out for the animals that run out from under the counter. Today it was a chicken. I should’ve taken a picture to post here. The lady wanted to serve the group of men behind me before me for whatever reason. Even they said something to her about me ordering since I was first but she said ‘she can wait’. They refused until I was served and then they ended up paying for me because she was being such a witch. Never met her, wasn’t mean to her, was waiting patiently until she decided she just didn’t want to serve me. For context, I was coming from work where I work in a corporate environment and was dressed like a civilized adult. Caña Brava definitely has my business moving forward. I won’t even consider Pinolandia again.
