Big food out of a small restaurant! Food was great, service was great, very affordable. There were only like 6 tables in the whole place. Seems they do mostly take-out but dining in was still an enjoyable experience.

We found this place by chance. It is a small hole in the wall. The pizza (Mushroom and Ham) as well as the pepperoni by the slice was awesome. The base was thin and crispy. Would go again.

We came here today for a quick bite and we discovered a gem! The pizza here is delicious. Handmade dough. We ordered cheese and pepperoni slices. The lady who took the order and the cook are very nice and attentive. Fair price! Pay a visit here and you won't be disappointed.

This place was recommend by a lifelong friend who is a "foodie' and "pizza fean" FYI I am originally from NY, so have a certain appreciation for good Italian food (i.e., pizza, pasta, deserts, etc.) I remember going to this location when it was Village Pizza and there was not much in the area except vacant lots some 20+ years ago, so I was a little surprised that the name had changed but happy that they make a good NY style pizza. The place is a small Mom & Pop pizza joint which I LOVE! Staff was friendly and attentive. The owner spoke with us for a few minutes and we had a great conversation about how the location and neighborhood has changed in the last 20+ years. We had a large half cheese and half sausage extra crispy pizza, six garlic rolls and tiramisu for desert. A couple of sodas and a cold beer. The Garlic rolls were perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with just the right amount of garlic and olive oil. The Pizza is very good and definitely NY style... thin and crispy with real sliced Italian sausage! Tiramisu was good and one was enough to share. We don't live far from this place, so it is now on our on list of "Pizza Friday" places. If your looking for a no-frills NY style pizza joint this is the place.

Stopped for a quick lunch . Large pizza and a dozen of those iconic garlic rolls for under $25! Fresh and super yummy! I was with my two small children and the chef personally brought the food out to the car for me ! Love to support our local businesses , especially to those who care for their customers !

We ordered 3 different pastas, they were excellent, pasta cooked just right, flavorful sauces, nice large portions. Garlic knots were delicious. The delivery person was very friendly and prompt. Overall a terrific 1st time. We will order again soon!

Our family just discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago and we have been here 4 times! The pizza is perfect! The crust, the sauce, the flavor is all SO good! We used to go to Anthony’s and now we have changed “our place” to gaetanos! My 3.5 year old daughter prefers it as well! In addition to delicious food, the ownership and staff here are so kind. Each time we come in they have gone the extra mile to be cheerful and welcoming, and even playful with my shy daughter. Recently I came in with my daughter and had accidentally forgotten my wallet at home...rather than turn me away, they said I could just pay next time. How rare is that degree of kindness?! This is what a mom and pop place should feel like. We love it here and will be coming back often. Highly recommended!!!

Loved their pizza! We tried the cheese for the kids and the Elena for the adults! Definitely a delicious spot for great New York pizza. The Guy's salad was also very good. Service was quick and pleasant. Will definitely return!

Great fast friendly service. Pizza crust is tasty and delicious, as is their sauce. Only disappointment was the mushrooms, which are canned, and not fresh as was the answer when asked if they used fresh mushrooms. Could have been a language barrier. Would definitely come back for pizza again and try the pasta dishes too. Liked the relaxing clean ambiance of the place.

Amazing food and service. Only 3 tables inside but there is some outdoor seating. We ordered a large with sausage, mushroom and onion. The sauce was perfect and the crust had perfect crunch/chew. We can't wait to go back to try some pasta dishes. The meatballs looked to die for!

I've been living here since 1999 and this is the BEST pizza place in my neck of the woods. Great value and the staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. The linch special is awesome! Will definitely be back sooner rather than later.

Ever since Miami's Best Pizza closed 4 years ago, my family has been looking for a good pizza place. We finally found it. I haven't had good pizza in 4 years. But today, my craving was finally satisfied. Small place, really a hole in the wall, but still fantastic.

It is exactly ONE hour since I ordered 2 pizzas (delivery was supposed to be now)....delivery was within 30 minutes, and we just finished eating. All I can say it YUM YUM YUM. The crust is AMAZING - super chewy. The perfect amount of toppings, delicious sauce, definitely our NEW go to pizza place since moving to Pinecrest!!!

I love this little spot so much. Has amazing food and the customer service is beyond amazing. The older gentlemen one day saw that I sat down with my to-go order. Since it was so cozy I decided to stay. He came over to my table, opened all my food and brought me extra napkins and metal utensils so I wouldn't have to use the disposable ones. He is so kind and so is the rest of the employees. I have been going back numerous times a week. The pasta dishes come with a side salad and 2 garlic rolls. All under $10! Cant beat it, such good, home cooked meals.

The Sicilian slices were fantastic- doughy, crispy, cheesy goodness. Very sweet, considerate men working the register and making the pizza and bussing our table. Also very quick- got in and out in just about 15 minutes, perfect stop between Miami and Biscayne National Park.

Stumbled upon this place a few months back and went in with my 3 year old. Owners are the same ones form the original Cozzoli's in Dadeland so anyone that is a native to Miami knows this place is heaven. Fantastic food and terrific staff. We eat here at least once a week. Try the lasagna - damn good.

I had never been to this pizza spot even though I frequently went to a sub shop next to it…. And let me tell you this pizza and the rest of the menu also is amazing. They are a family owned establishment and stay true to quality and service. The sauce and the crunchy crust really make it NY style! Love that the owner stayed true to their roots. A must try. I only wish I had taken a picture of my food! I’ll have to visit again and update!

My journey for great pizza has taken me from Celebration Florida to another sleeper called Gaetano's pizza in Pinterest Florida. This is a winner for sure. Savory sauce with quality cheese makes this place 10 stars. I dare you to try it.

Went to big cheese on sw 67 ave regretted it is not the place like it was found this location and it reminded me what real pizza and sandwiches taste like , no difference when casola's started.... I found my new pizza home.... extremely delicious 😋

This place has been around forever and is consistently good. Excellent crispy crust pizza, great sauce and even the crust is flavorful. Crisp salad but not fancy. Great rolls and they also cater trays of traditional family style meals. Mainly a take out place but small seating area available.

The best hole in the wall italian you will find in the dadeland area, food is always delicious and ridiculously consistent. Always great. My favorite pizza in all of miami. My family and I have been regular customers at Gaeteano’s for years. We love their pizza, garlic rolls and spaghetti. The owner always welcomes us at the restaurant and makes sure that our order is prepared exactly how we like it. Everyone at Gaeteano’s goes above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.

We are still talking about how good the pizza was. We ordered it for pick up for a group gathering at home. A few people who wanted more were disappointed to find the pizza was gone already. We can’t wait to order from here again!

I searched for some local pizza spots to try and found this small restaurant. It’s a small place and that’s part of the charm. The lady who greeted me was very pleasant and sweet. She took my order efficiently and the food was out quickly. The food tasted fresh and the quality of the ingredients were good. It’s a small place but charming. Overall the food was good and Jeffery than the big chains. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu.

The pizza and meatball calzone are delicious! We've had delivery mostly, but also ate at the restaurant. It is mainly a take-out/delivery place, but they do have about 5 tables to dine-in. Good, friendly service with no wait to dine in.

I found it to be average... not bad and not great I was a little upset because I ordered online and I actually had to pay for extra parmesan and I specifically asked when I went to pick up the food if they remember the parmesan and when I got home neither order had put extra parmesan... I even called afterwards and all I got was an apology which to me is not enough when you're paying for something extra what I believe should have been done as I am in sales and customer service is they should have offered some sort of a credit for the next time around on top of crediting back to the debit card what they charged to be able to receive the extra parmesan cheese to begin with

Only thick crust pizza I've been able to find in Miami! Not as good as Piezanos in Lincoln, NE, so can't give 5-stars.

I gave this place 4 stars because of the courtesy of the lady working there. I stopped coming here over a year ago because my sister's dog has passed and I used to to stay weekends to watch him. The pizza is 3 star's and used to be better. To much sauce it's overwhelming . I eat pizza once a week if not more often for years. They made a second pie not so saucy and more cheese and it was better. Thank you so for me there needs to be a balance of sauce and cheese I don't want a pizza that only tastes like tomato sauce and the cheese is left hanging

Gaetano's is our go-to neighborhood pizza place. Our friend Mercy recommended this place highly and we agree. I cannot rate a neighborhood pizza place five stars because it is just good honest neighborhood pizza, nothing fancy. The place probably seats about 12 people. We have never had a bad pizza or experienced anything less than great customer service. Highly recommend!

I came to this restaurant because of the 4.7 reviews amd wanted to give it a try. The place is small and quaint with limited seating inside and outside. They also have a good selection of dishes to chose from, no free water. Prices were ok and portions were small for the price. The restaurant seems to cater more to phone orders than costumers in the restaurant because it took 30 minutes to get a salad and bread rolls, and few minutes later pur food. The food was ok, sauce tasted from a can and the pasta was hard. Definitely not worth a second visit.

I was vacationing in Miami and decided to try a local spot. The mark was missed with this one. They have such great reviews, maybe it was a bad night, not sure but this pizza did not meet the expectations set in the reviews. It had no flavor and barley any texture due to the water and grease sitting on top of the pizza, my fiancee said this was a frozen pizza or even a display pizza that was cooked and served to us with pepperoni threw on top. I received a $10 salad with a dab of dressing and it wasn't Caesar dressing as it supposed to be a Caesar salad. Not worth the money at all.

They didn’t deliver the complete order and when I called they said they would send over the missing item. They never did. The food arrived cold and the pasta was hard as a rock. Will never order again from there.

Pizza is good but unfortunately this establishment can’t handle deliveries. If you order on Friday you’ll be lucky to receive by Tuesday. No service and phone lines don’t work. Highly recommend moving on to the next place on your google search. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Had a pizza delivered and to find that it had all of the toppings pushed off of the pizza into the corner of the box. Explained this to the restaurant and they refused to correct the ruined pizza. Tried this place twice, and never again. Last time waited for 2 hours to pick up take out order, I was told it would be 45 to 60 minute wait. Pasta was dry and undercooked, and the sauce had no flavor. Pizza was okay.

Just bought two slices and a coke 5 minutes ago got home and the pizza 🍕 is cold and not as good as before this place has definitely fallen from grace. Not what they use to be that's for sure.

I was a customer for years. Unfortunately - Never going back and suggest you find other pizza places to spend your $. Quality is not the same anymore and customer service is gone. Rude and they messed orders, unreliable and disorganized.. Go elsewhere and get better ingredients, better price and friendly staff.

I just went to pick up an order as a DoorDash driver and the employee gave the order to the customer knowing it was a DoorDash delivery. So now I didn’t get paid to go to the store and the customer received a refund plus the food for free. Very unprofessional knowing it’s a delivery order.

There is no way this place should have 5 stars. It seems it has been around forever, and maybe people have just grown up with it so they think it is good? So what was so bad? The dough of our pizza was so thin, you couldn't even pick up a slice. The mushrooms were out of a can and the toppings were lackluster all together. Sad, as 5 stars usually means quality.

I had heard great things about the pizza so I ordered a take out pizza and was extremely disappointed. From the center of the pizza and out about 5 inches towards the edges it was not cooked properly. It was gewy, messy and no way it could be picked up. We've had the lasagna as dine in and take out and it's been very good. This take out order was definitely not a good experience.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food because I needed to go to the ladies room first and he wouldn’t let me. Not sure if it’s because I have blonde hair and white skin because it isn’t on the beach and it’s a hole in the wall with no customers so I’m not sure what his problem was, but I would never ever ever go to this place based on the way I was treated

Let me start out by saying, this is the most hostile atmosphere I have experienced in a while, the lady at the reception has one of the most hostile attitudes I have ever experienced in a while, someone worthy of a Jerry Springer show. Her demeanor and they way she was attending the customers with the condescending tone, leaving others hanging with simple requests and just barely caring for the customer, is somewhat out of a parody of a bad restaurant. The food was meh, but one thing to point out that really did not sit out well with me is that one of the delivery drivers came to the place to pick up an order of his delivery, and she said with the most condescending tone “Its gonna take 40 minutes, and if you want to cancel you can do that and the next driver will pick it up” it just shows how horrible her behavior was to the point where I felt bad for the guy. My order was a mess, the timing extremely delayed, and when I pointed out her demeanor she answered with an attitude. When I asked for her name she literally said “Why are you asking?” I said well, I’d like to know if you are manager or owner, she said “Thats not your concern” when I said I would leave a review for her attitude, she taunted me saying “Go ahead and do whatever you want, I don’t care” (Is that a way to treat customers?) If you are the owner of this place let me tell you you are doing a massive disservice to your place with that person. And if she’s the owner well, that explains a lot about that place. All I can say is if you are planning to have a peaceful meal with your significant other or friends, avoid this place at all costs. This is something you’d see in an episode of “Kitchen Nightmares” if you really dig down in the place. Do yourself a favor and actually go to somewhere where they don’t kill your good weekend vibes.
