Both service and food are great. Where else can you get such a big platter for $17 in Miami?

The staff at Giraldas truly goes above and beyond. When I ordered the Chicken Skewer, they made sure to accommodate my request for extra veggies. Such thoughtful service makes all the difference! 👏👏👏

I went here for lunch. I ordered the Brutus burger with grilled vegetables and a drink. I also ordered a small mixed green salad . They have unsweetened tea. Overall the food was good. The portion sizes were decent and the service was good. I will order the platter next time

I frequent Giraldas in Midtown at least twice per month. The burgers are excellent, food is very good and price you can’t beat. The happy hr special on burgers and beers is unbeatable. The service is limited as you pay for the food at cashier and someone brings it to you. Don’t expect a full service sit down lunch or dinner. Their business model works and keeps me going back. Good food at great prices.

I've met the owner and I think the is doing a great job, and he tries to please everyone who comes in. The restaurant stands out because it offers affordable food and service in an expensive city and an expensive area. I don't think the negative reviews are warranted as after coming here so often, I am sure the staff and owner would do everything in their power to rectify a complaint and try and make their guests happy.

Great food! Love their herb butter sauce option they have for their grilled meats. So good!

First time eating Giraffas in Miami last year in 2019. Not the same quality food you get in Brazil. Overpriced coxinhas for sure! As you can see in the picture, they are very small for the price you pay. The rest of the food was okay! I've had better in other places here in the US. Great location and dining services.

We love Brazilian food, and used to love giraffes but last time we went there the meat came completely raw and we sent back to the kitchen for a little bit more cooking and that’s how they sent back the meat, completely burnt, excluding the fact that the grill was already leaving the meat with a burned taste! Very disappointed.

I ordered a burger + fries + coke around $13... It was a good burger but not big enough for the price. Next time I will order the rice,salad and steak.

I have to say, I was impressed by some of the reviews. I ordered what is most popular. The picanha steak. The steak I ordered medium rare. It was medium which is edible for me but the steak was so tough that I couldn’t eat it. I had to chew for a while. I didn’t ask for another as I’m not the type of person that does that. The beans tasted like they were straight from a can. Not tasty at all. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go again. But I am writing this review to help do a better job.

The place has lost its savory flavor. I went tonights and the steak was hard and the brown rice as well. The bathroom was dirty and it feels like the management is not keeping up with the customer experience. I dislike to write something negative but it hurts me to go out and eat bad food. I hope they get better.

The pork was good, juicy and all. But the food is ok. Nothing great. And I consider over priced for the quality.

If you’re going to sit down for a meal, don’t expect good service. You will have to get up to look for napkins. You’ll need to beg for ketchup for your meal bc there isn’t ketchup at the tables and don’t think that they will ask you if you need anything. And then they still expect a tip. 🙃

Well let me start that my wife and I are regulars here. We USED to like this place. My wife is from Brazil and loves it as do I. But today as my wife placed an order for pick up, I arrived and when the cashier asked the chef with glasses for Penelope’s order, the chef was making fun of the name of the customer. My wife. They spoke in Portuguese but didn’t think that I myself am fluent as well.. the chef said she should change her name. I was upset and said that I didn’t appreciate it and that I myself speak Portuguese as well. They immediately took a step back and tried to explain that he wasn’t but I understood every word . This was our LAST time ordering from this place. Such disrespect. In what world do we live in where someone has to make fun of another persons name. It was very dirty and disgusting, the service was very bad, the meat was raw, the portions were very small, half of the meat was fatty and overpriced, when we complained they said you shouldn't come again, that's okay, the staff was very disrespectful, terrible...

Horrible food! Even worst management who has no clue about the hospitality service!!!! I ordered Picania ( steak) at waiters recommendation. He said it’s nice and tender… It was harder than a car tire. Barely managed to cut a slice with knife but it was impossible to chew. I went to the Manger and explained the issue. So he gave me 10 min educational briefing on types of meat and tenderness of same. Finally, I agreed to take chicken stroganoff for replacement as I was hungry and in rush. That chicken wasn’t much softer… . Actually it was hardest chicken meat I ever had. Besides that I was given wrong side orders. Everything I got was not eatable. Horrible food. Do Not Eat There!!! Be ware!

Went here today with my husbanda and baby daughter. The dining area and high chairs were filthy! All that would have been tolerable if the food was good. It WASN'T! Food unseasoned.....rice was over cooked.....portions were small. I ordered the grilled shrimp platter, and it looked and tasted a day old. Asked for a refund and the manager tried to talk us into taking the food. SAD. After some convincing he refunded our meals. Highly disappointed. Don't eat here, please walk by!

This eatery started out very well when they opened but has since disappointed me every time. It was a great place to get a decent Brazilian style steak at a great value but has lowered its standards so much that I don't even eat there anymore. Every time I've gone during the past 18 months, the meat has been tough, overcooked, or just felt like it had been defrosted 10 minutes before I ordered it. The size of the steaks has also gotten smaller and smaller every visit. The rice is always dry and hard. The place is dirty and every surface is sticky to the touch. I had to stop going because none of the reasons it was such a hit in the beginning seemed to exist anymore. Sad.

I don’t know how you guys still open. The service is terrible, the food takes forever to come, when they get it right. The beef looks like a concrete brick! A 40 dollars picanha and they gave me a plastic fork to eat. Unbelievable.

By far the hardest picanha and açaí is the most sour I've ever eaten, all the food tastes old. I ordered the meat well done and it came undercooked. I went to kindly inform them that the açaí was “expired” or ask if the flavor itself was sour by the store's standard and I noticed the attendants' lack of preparation. I do not recommend!

However, the food was a major disappointment. The steak was overcooked and dry, the rice tasted bland and seemed like it came straight from a microwave, and the black beans were undercooked. For a restaurant in Midtown, surrounded by so many other great spots, I expected much better. The maintenance was also lacking — some of the seats were heavily torn, and one booth was patched up with duct tape. It really takes away from the dining experience. Giralda’s has potential with its happy hour drinks, but they need to step up on the food quality and the upkeep of the restaurant if they want to compete in this area.

I really wanted to enjoy my experience here, but unfortunately it was one mistake after another. I ordered chicken tenders and was first brought a cheeseburger. After pointing it out, they apologized and tried to replace it with a grilled chicken sandwich—which was still not what I ordered. Finally, they brought out fried chicken, and when I cut into it, the chicken was completely raw inside. I understand mistakes happen, but multiple errors followed by undercooked food is not acceptable. Hoping this was just an off day, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.

They reached out to the restaurant, and that’s when the restaurant informed them that my dinner had been stolen. If I hadn’t contacted DoorDash, the restaurant would have never canceled my order. I called the restaurant to understand how someone can steal someone else’s order, and all they could say was ‘sorry’… with all due respect, zero professionalism. If it were my restaurant, I would’ve sent food to the customer’s house. NEVER AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN. If you don’t know how to serve the public, close your doors or be more professional. It’s not that hard, you just need to ask the driver to CONFIRM, before he gets the food.

Every time I order through an app, it takes forever. But today it was taking even longer than expected… I contacted DoorDash. They reached out to the restaurant, and that’s when the restaurant informed them that my dinner had been stolen. If I hadn’t contacted DoorDash, the restaurant would have never canceled my order.
