Opinions de INTIMO Miami
My wife and I recently had an unforgettable evening at Intimo. The restaurant’s romantic ambiance set the perfect stage for our night out, and I have to say, the experience was exceptional. The menu, featuring a Japanese-Peruvian fusion, brought flavors together in the best way I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was a delight, but the sushi bombs truly stood out—they were absolutely to die for! The service was also top-notch; our server’s recommendations were spot-on, making us feel like we were the only two people there and enhancing our meal with his thoughtful guidance. Intimo deserves an 11/10 for both food and service. Can’t wait to return!
Excellent service from Franco, he is the man that everyone should reach out to. He serves us with sincere and passion. He introduces us many signature dish and it was great! Definitely worth a try!
We had an impeccable meal at Intimo. From the moment we were greeted and sat, through the whole experience it was wonderful. Our server was so helpful in assisting us navigate the menu, recommending some of his favorites and we are so glad we followed his lead. The food was fresh, tasty, the flavors and design were so unique. We tried a little bit of everything and continued to be excited feeling like each new plate we received was even better than the last. This was a fun, lively atmosphere, and I would go all the time if I lived closer. For what you get, the prices are extremely reasonable!
Ummmm sooo Peruvian Japanese fusion might be my new fave food?! Literally INCREDIBLE!! Everything was genuinely a 10/10!! Would def come back and try everything or get the same stuff again because I was literally closing my eyes due to my happiness with each bite. Huge shout out to the amazing Sebastian who explained what to get and gave us the BEST experience!!! Everyone RUN to this restaurant!!! We got hamachi, sushi bombs, avocado ceviche, scallop, black cod, pineapple mocktail, strawberry dessert- and recommend it all!!! No cap.
I celebrated my birthday with friends, and we had the best experience! Franco took such good care of us, explained all the dishes and drinks, answered our questions, taught us a lot about Peruvian culture, and was extremely attentive. We can tell that he is truly proud to work and represent this restaurant. The Japanese Peruvian fusion dishes are incredible, some of the best food I’ve ever had around the world. Truly a memorable experience I will never forget! I highly recommend for any occasion.
We had a phenomenal experience at INTIMO! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the ambiance is on point, the menu is truly one-of-a-kind with a unique fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Our only complaint is that there were too many good things to choose from and it was hard to figure out what to order! Fortunately, we were guided through the menu and the entire dining experience by the wonderful Franco. Franco curated our experience from beginning to end. He took great time and care with us and made sure we not only understood the menu, but explained the menu in great detail (and even shared some options not on the menu). He gave us expert and spot-on suggestions for what to order. Based on Franco's recommendation, we ended up going with the chef's tasting menu and the pisco sours. We could not have been happier with the food and the presentation of everything! We capped off our meal with espresso martinis and the pavlova dessert (both delicious). Overall, this dining experience was unlike anything either of us have ever enjoyed. It wasn't just a meal, it was a fully immersive experience with some of the most delicious fish and most interesting flavor combinations we've ever tried. Franco ensured we were well-informed, happy, and taken care of throughout the meal. We will definitely be back to visit INTIMO and Franco on our next trip to Miami. Do not miss out on this amazing spot!
Went here for dinner a few weeks back, and I can’t stop thinking about the food. From the Sushi Bomb to the Seafood fried rice, the flavors were immaculate. Also, Franco’s service was very informative and helpful to guide us on what to order. Great place to dine out with your family or a couple.
We came here for our last dinner in Miami and it was the best!! Food was good, especially the sushi bombs and platters. Raema took such great care of us and made the whole experience amazing.
This restaurant is amazing. The food, the vibes, the service— everything was a great experience. The sushi bombs were delicious, like a bomb of flavor. I really liked their chaufa; it had sweet plantains that made it have this nice, sweet, and salty flavor. It was perfect. I would 100% recommend trying it, and I would probably be back if I go to Miami. 10/10
My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at INTIMO. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and full of rich flavors. Every dish was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared, making it a delightful culinary experience. I would have given the food a perfect rating, but there was just a small room for improvement. The service was outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The atmosphere was simply amazing—cozy, elegant, and well-designed, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. Overall, we highly recommend INTIMO for anyone looking for a great dining experience. We will definitely be coming back!
I had an amazing dining experience. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and making the entire meal even more enjoyable. Each dish was perfectly prepared, with attention to every detail. I will definitely be returning for more!
Great food and service. Expensive tasting menu at $80 and $30 cocktails. But it all seemed worth it: the quality of food and service was exceptional. Some of the best and most interesting ceviche and sushi we’ve had.
Absolutely incredible- one of my favorite restaurants that I have been to. Very unique dishes with the perfect flavors. Chris was a fabulous server and provided excellent suggestions. I already plan on coming back when I return later this year.
Amazing place to have dinner. Our server Franco was amazing! Very attentive, friendly, great recommendations and customer service. The food was delicious, try the ceviche and their sushi bombs to die for!! The ambience was very good, with great live performance with a very talented lady who played the violin, flute and saxophone.
Franco D was amazing! Super friendly and really helped my family and me decide what we wanted. He made great suggestions and made the whole experience easy. Absolutely 💯 recommend!
It’s been a while since we tried a new restaurant, and it was amazing! Rafael is an excellent server, he gave us great recommendations for everything: appetizer, ceviche, main dish (we ended up going with the ribeye), dessert and even a digestif. Beautiful location, great music. Just as you would expect from a Juan Chipoco restaurant. Well done!!! We’ll be back.
Perfect dining experience from the moment we entered! We arrived with baby in stroller and the staff was very accommodating to find us the perfect table. Our server was professional, knowledgable, and fun! He gave recommendations based on our order to complement the meal from app to desserts! The food was perfection from the presentation, to ingredients, to texture, to flavor.
I cannot believe how anyone could ever rate this place less than a perfect 5.0. The Head Server (Franco) of our trip thru food escasy was as much a part of our experience as the food. No words can do justice the amazing food. I will upload a few pictures and let your imagination run wild.

The food was amazing! The best Peruvian/japanese fusion. The staff was wonderful! They explained the different options and dishes. Highly recommend tiradito de hamachi and salmon misa miso. Staff was very attentive. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Definitely a great place for a date.

I got engaged last night and decided to visit this amazing place in South Beach with my fiancée. Franco was very kind and we trusted him with all our food choices. I am not a big fan of sushi but Franco really made me change my mind, all 3 plates that were brought to our table were completely new for our appetite and discovered how much we were missing out. I will definitely come again for any special occasion.
Wonderful Peruvian Japanese food. Service was very knowledgeable. The avocado ceviche with different fish had a lot of inspiring tastes, the pork bao buns and the main course short ribs all tasted wonderful. The red wines by the glass were too warm, for our tastes, but the cocktails were good. A very recommendable Peruvian restaurant in South Point Miami Beach.
Can’t say enough about this place! The food is incredible. Everything we are was just so unique and flavorful. Service was fantastic, I don’t remember our server’s name but she was from Uruguay and so helpful and on it. The oysters. Don’t skip on them. Unbelievably delicious. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back next time in Miami.
INCREDIBLE food and service. We were blown away by the perfection. The first night we went on our week-long vacation we had Zuliana as a server -- she knew the entire menu, made excellent recommendations, and was so kind and attentive. Zuliana is so skilled she could do service in the most high-end restaurants. The food was superb -- fresh, complex flavors. So instead of going somewhere else, we decided to return again. The next visit did not disappoint. We had Javier as our server and again, stellar service. This is such a special experience to eat food so well prepared and take part in a service experience that is unparalleled. Thank you Intimo staff -- we will be back!
Franco and Javier served as our tour guides to an amazing Peruvian and Japanese fusion experience. The full staff were attentive and served our parties every need. We booked the restaurant for a party of 30 with different palates and no one left disappointed. For a business meeting or private dinner, Inti-Mo will not disappoint.
Franco was an excellent sever. He was super knowledgeable of every item on the menu, drinks and food. If Franco recommends a dish or drink to you, trust him and take his advice. This was some of the best sushi of my life and trust in Franco, if you are indecisive like me. Best sushi in Miami !
This was AMAZING!!! an outstanding experience. We only had starters, because there were so many we wanted to try. Ceviicje and tiradito were fantastic. Also the flamed sushi bomb. Glazed pork belly delicious. Finished with the octopus. Excellent. This restaurant is really a must visit. Thanks to Gabriella for her good advices and her professional and friendly service. We will come back for sure, thanks again.
Perfect spot for an elevated lunch date. Franco took us on a culinary journey... Our meal selection was inspired by his attention to detail and passion for the food and culture. We went in with no specific intention or craving but were given excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. The tuna sushi bomb, tiradito de hamachi, the inti maki sushi roll and udon barrios altos were all 10/10. For drinks we had the pisco sour, the pisco sourlyche, pisco maracuya, and the mezcal marg special were also delicious.
Outstanding! Michelin quality service and food. Incredibly kind staff and drop dead gorgeous ambiance. The servers are top quality and well educated on the menu. The menu itself is diverse and interesting. The quality of the food is top level. Brilliant barman. I cannot recommend this place enough. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Thank you to the staff for such a lovely dining experience.
I came here for an anniversary dinner with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. Our server Franco was the best server we’ve ever had, we didn’t know much about anything on the menu coming in but he sold us on so many of the options just by telling us it’s origin and background. Our food was some of the best I’ve ever had and it was a perfect calm and romantic setting with a wonderful saxophone player in the beginning and perfect lighting. We had the sushi bombs which are truly worth it, the himachi and our entrees which were beautiful. Even though they were closing up Franco offered us their delicious dessert options and made sure we were completely satisfied. Will definitely be coming back here! Shoutout Franco and the cooking staff!
This was one of the best dining experiences I've EVER had! My boyfriend and I were visiting for the week from Chicago and we came across this amazing place. We loved the Japanese/Peruvian theme it had and man, I'm so glad we ended up actually going. I love Miami so I will certainly keep coming back here as long as it's open. From start to finish the service was excellent. Samantha, our server guided us through the menu and gave us excellent recommendations. From the avocado ceviche and the ribeye nigiri to the short rib pasta, EVERYTHING was delicious! The portion sizes were perfect for the two of us to try lots of stuff and we weren't overly full which was great. For dessert, she recommended we try the Incan French toast with a special Miami coffee cocktail. Guys, it was the cherry on top of an incredible dining experience. GO HERE! Thank you so much Intimo for such an amazing night! I will be telling everyone about this place FYI :)
I am WOWED by the quality, flavor, and attention to detail this place has with the food. I rarely write reviews but the food & staff were so lovely I had to! I’ve never had Peruvian let alone Peruvian/japanese fusion but our waiter, Franco, was so attentive and good at explaining what everything was that I was excited to try it all. This place is a MUST TRY if you’re in the area!
Dana !! We had a good time thanks to you. What a great experience ! Everything was just perfect! Dana was our waiter and she was amazing! I do recommend to share various plates because all of them are very very very tasty and special! Thanks Dana for making this moment special! When if u have a chance to go to restaurants in MIA u guys have to Go INTIMO.
Been here three times and it never disappoints. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a fun, chill, trendy vibe. I’d recommend the duck dumplings, 105% roll and the duck three ways; it comes with enough rice to share. Javier was our server tonight and he was A+! Will certainly be back next time we are in Miami and ask for Javier! Thanks for having us!
Fantastic experience. This was our second time and it was just as good as the first. First edit: We visited again and once again had a wonderful experience. Mauro and the other wait staff were very welcoming and attentive. The meal was superb and we could not find fault with it. 2nd edit 2024: Mauro took care of us again and did an amazing job. We brought my husband's parents for the first time and they were blown away. They provide an incredible experience and recognize repeat, loyal customers, which is very much appreciated. Another flawless evening!
What an amazing place! Probably the best restaurant in Miami Beach. The cocktails were fantastic, menu very unique, and every single things was so delicious. Live violin music added so much charm. I was solo dining at the bar and the bartenders Chris and Enrique did such a marvelous job entertaining me all the evening!
Today, me and my 12 year old daughter came to this restaurant. It was the best food that we have ever tasted! And that is not an exaggeration. It was amazing, every single food that we had was like the best food we had ever had! It was so delicious! And our waitress, Laura, was such a wonderful Waitress and was so kind to us. She gave amazing suggestions that we ordered, and were all spectacular! All the food came out at the perfect time. The restaurant was also so clean and beautiful. My daughter was obsessed with all the food, we will definitely be returning and highly recommended this restaurant
Absolutely amazing find! The food and service here is top notch. Karol was so attentive and friendly, especially helpful when choosing selections from the menu when we wanted to try new things. The food here is simply wonderful... Not shy about their use of seasoning, salt, fat and acid. The sweet and sour shrimp appetizer is memorable and the ceviche is top notch. Ribeye had an amazing aroma and was so juicy and tender. And definitely save room for dessert!
We celebrated our anniversary at Intimo and had a lovely evening, enjoying a truly one of a kind dinning experience. The staff was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to pick our own table since they were not that busy yet. Next our waiter proceeded to explain the menu and all their amazing offerings in great detail. Next, he brought a delicious fish chilcano soup to get us in the mood. We followed it with some of their signature drinks and a sampler of some of their most amazing Nikkei and Peruvian dishes, all recommended by him. A side note, even though they are fine dining, their portions are not super small, but the right size. Feeling full already we couldn't leave without trying some of their delicious desserts. We honestly think you can't go wrong with anything in the menu. Now let's talk about the atmosphere, the restaurant is small but beautiful, tastefully decorated to match the amazing dishes they serve. The location is also great, in the heart of the most exclusive part of the beach, south of fifth street, which also happens to host some of the most amazing dining options in Miami. Having been to Ceviche 105 too, we can safely say that Juan is a master of his craft, celebrating and elevating Peruvian cuisine with every restaurant he opens. Two out of two for us and can't wait to be back for more.
what a lovely experience! my boyfriend and i came here for our anniversary and everything was perfect! Everyone is so friendly and thoughtful, even our neighbors dining offered to take a pic of us. The food was amazing. it was very fresh and looked too good to eat! We got the combo and later had the duck. Our waiter Franco was so attentive and had the best recommendations. He took great care of us from the start all the way to the cafecito at the end! Can’t wait to come back and dine with them again!
Dana was fantastic, sweet and helpful. Food, wine, and atmosphere impeccable. 🩵Update: I went back and took my husband, what a fantastic restaurant. I highly recommend you splurge on the lobster ceviche it is a spectacle and even more delicious and surprising than almost any dish I’ve eaten. What an incredible atmosphere, food and cocktails are a far cut above. Service was absolutely fantastic.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at an exquisite restaurant that left me feeling like a true VIP. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was treated with unparalleled hospitality and attention to detail that made my experience truly exceptional. The service offered by Franco at this establishment was nothing short of impeccable he went above and beyond to ensure my utmost satisfaction. From the warm and friendly greeting at the entrance I felt like an honored guest throughout the entire evening. Speaking of the Franco his expertise in curating the perfect dining experience was remarkable. He possessed an extensive knowledge of the menu and were able to guide me through the selection process with ease. His recommendations was spot on, and I couldn't have been happier with the dishes he suggested. Franco’s ability to advise and personalize the menu according to my preferences truly enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal. Now, let's talk about the food. The culinary experience was nothing short of perfect. Each dish that arrived at my table was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that danced on my palate. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal, from the quality of ingredients to the execution of cooking techniques, was evident in every bite. It was clear that the chefs at this restaurant are masters of their craft, and their passion for food shone through in every through in every dish. I must mention the exceptional conversation I had with Nico, engaging with a personal touch to the overall experience. His warm and friendly demeanour instantly put me at ease. We discussed various subjects, it was pleasure to engage in a very pleasant conversation. In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was a remarkable VIP experience from start to finish. The impeccable service, guided menu selection, and flawless execution of each dish combined to create a truly unforgettable evening. I left with a sense of satisfaction and a desire to return again soon. If you're looking for a restaurant where you'll be treated like royalty and indulge in a perfect culinary experience, look no further. This place is a gem that will exceed your highest expectations.
If I could give more than 5 stars on everything, I would. Perfect experience from beginning to end. Special thank you to Franco; he is an incredible host and his passion for the food & attention to detail perfectly adds to the experience. I look forward to coming back anytime I visit Miami and will recommend anyone to do the same.
The menu offered a fantastic selection of Peruvian dishes, showcasing the rich and diverse flavors of the Peruvian cuisine. While some may perceive the space as small or tight, it contributes to the restaurant's warm and intimate ambiance, making it a great choice for those seeking a more personal and engaging dining setting. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to recommend dishes and explain their preparation. They truly made the dining experience feel special.
The restaurant exeeded every expectation we had. The welcome was super nice and our waiter Franco was a real gem in guiding us through the menu and suggesting the perfect dishes for us! Our recommendation is to fully trust your waiter to do the selection for you -you won‘t be dissapointed! Thank you for the mouthwatering dishes & drinks and thank you Franco for the excellent service! It was an amazing foodie experience!
We had an exceptional experience at this restaurant. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We spontaneously decided to dine here while passing by, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delightful, and the drinks were well-crafted. Our two cocktails struck the perfect balance, not too sweet or too bitter, which was a pleasant surprise. Gabbi served us with charm and made our evening even more enjoyable. Additionally, the sushi bombs were outstanding and definitely a must-try here.
Had a great time visiting this restaurant. You are greeted by a very upscale interior design with lots of things to look at. The waiter was very knowledgeable on the entire menu and helped us pick every dish. I honestly forget everything I ordered but every dish was equally amazing and delicious. My favorite has to be the fried oyster with yellow pepper sauce. It’s one bite but it is one of the BEST BITES I’ve ever had. Chefs kiss! Drinks also had a cool presentation with dry ice. The entrees were also incredibly good and if you’re looking for some heat then ask them to bring their spicy sauce. Just be careful! The thing that really ties this place together was the service. Excellent service and they even changed one of our drinks since we didn’t enjoy it. Truly an upscale restaurant with great food/drink options!! I am coming back for sure, just look at the pictures!
Franco was the best ! We ended up trying a little bit of everything last night along with his help ! He gave us the best recommendations as to what we should eat and let me tell you the recommendations couldn’t have been better ! Definitely recommend everyone comes here and asks for Franco
This place was FAR beyond my expectations. AMAZING FOOD! I never leave reviews, but I want other people to experience this place. The google reviews is what brought us there and even with a 4.9 rating, I wasn't expecting such great service and perfect food for everything we ordered. We were served by Franco. He asked us what type of food, flavours and textures we like, we told him to bring us what he thinks would give us the best experience and he delivered 1000%. He made our experience unbelievable! He really knows what he's talking about and I couldn't recommend this place enough, everything was PERFECT. If you're hesitating, just go and you won't regret it.
5 stars all around. Excellent ambiance, food was incredible, music was fun, and our server Franco was extraordinary. He was excellent and enjoyable. Went for my birthday dinner and got crispy tuna, intimaki, udon noodles, and lomo saltado - it was a perfect portion for two people. Get the pisco sour if you can, best I’ve ever had. Will 100% be back.
One of those restaurants that leave you with a memory, not just a meal! Every single thing was thought out in this establishment. From the live music, to the photos on the shelves, to the welcome Japanese Peruvian broth served in a beautiful terracotta teapot, to the service….every aspect of your experience here is treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful interior design, excellent music to go with your meal, our waiter Franco , native to Peru, was incredible part of the experience!!!!! One of the best servers I’ve ever had in my life. He’s just someone you can tell really loves what he does and goes well above and beyond to make his tables happy - curating the menu for the guests - choosing a tasting menu fitting of their preferences, explaining the dishes with admiration! Thank you so much!!! Every drink and dish is a performance. Some come out with drama - with smoke bubbling around it, or sizzling on a plate, or plated in a way that makes it look like it should be in a museum. The taste is also superb!! I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an experience that is classy and high quality in ALL aspects. It’s a staple for me in Miami!
This was easily our favorite meal on our trip to Miami! Everything from the service to the ambiance and food was on point. Our server was Zuliana and I would 100% request her on a future visit. She knew her stuff and had a lot of experience working here. She provided us with the best recommendations and was honest and warm. Nico was a manager who visited our table several times to check on us, and he too was fantastic! They have an incredible team here at INTI.MO. The food... omg the food. I'm so glad we asked Zuliana for recommendations because we wouldn't have tried half the things she suggested, but they turned out to knock our socks off. The tiradito de hamachi was one of my favorites. It had such incredible complex flavor and wonderful textures. A home run. She also suggested we try some of their torched items. We selected the conchita parmesana nigiri and tuna sushi bomb. Both were torched tableside and each was a fantastic balance of flavors and textures. I would have happily ordered more of each! Our final savory course was the classic ceviche with all of the seafood! It was one of the best ceviches I've had, and I love that we got to try so many different types of seafood within. We also tried a couple of desserts, lucuma ice cream and a dulce de leche dessert. The latter was quite rich and sweet but good. The ice cream was a revelation, and a new flavor we had never tried before. From the food to the service and everything in between, INTI.MO stole our hearts and will hands down be the first restaurant I book if I return to Miami in the future!
Best ceviche I’ve ever had!!! The Avacado ceviche is creamy with the perfect balance of acid. Presentation was perfection. The octopus was a sizzling feast for the eyes and palate. The boneless short ribs were fork tender. The service was top notch. Atmosphere 10 with live jazz sax and flute. This is by far one of the best overall restaurants I’ve been to in Florida. Fine dining where everything is on point.
Mom surprised me for my birthday and brought me to this spot. The food was SUPERB! The staff was always extremely attentive and made sure we had a great time. I recommend you ask for Javier, he was our waiter and extremely knowledgeable on the menu, the history behind the restaurant and the food. I’m already planning my next visit for my second round of the Reina Del Mar 🌊 platter 🤤
Like most of these reviews…if I could give them 6 stars I totally would. The restaurant is on the smaller side but the decor is absolutely gorgeous and it feels nice and private (intimate like the name suggests). All of the servers are very very attentive, extremely knowledgeable of everything on the menu and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! They mix Peruvian and Japanese flavors flawlessly, and there are items on the menu strictly Japanese and others are strictly Peruvian and then lots of different fusions. So I think there is something for everyone. We went a group of 3 and ordered a total of 3 appetizers, 1 sushi roll, 3 main dishes, 2 desserts and one cocktail. The total was around 360$ including 18% gratuity. I think the amount spent and the quality of service and food is well worth it. Every plate left completely empty. One of my favorite items from the menu was “El Ganador” which is a fried shrimp appetizer like no other. The dessert French Toast was absolutely out of this world. Lastly the only thing that surprised me a little bit and something I think should be told to guests is that they do charge for the amount of water you drink. They were serving Evian waters (but if your not paying attention it just looks like they are serving you water out of a glass container like every other place) and they charge you for the amount of bottles your party finishes. It totaled like 23$ at the end for us which was like having ordered another appetizer and if you come trying to not spend so much I think that’s something to take note of. But truly overall, would recommend to this place to anyone looking for upscale Peruvian/Japanese food.
Delicious Peruvian food with along with a stylish and flavorful Japanese influence. We started with a Smokey Mezal and Fresh Passion Fruit Margarita with a hint of fresh Peruvian lime juice and it even came with an extra shot of the super smooth mezcal. Beautiful presentation, with fresh flowers, gold leaf and dry ice. So happy our server Sebastian recommended it. Our wonderful server also recommended we start with the Tuna Sushi Bomb topped with Foie Gras. Such a wild pairing idea, but he said it was a flavor bomb, and after it was caramelized Table side with a butane torch it really was a perfect bite. We even said if we had any room left after our entrees we would order another round for dessert. For entrees, My husband had the Short Rib Pappardelle and he finished every bit. I had a creamy, Seafood Paella which was very good. Excellent quality products and I love that for fine dining they did not at all skimp on portion size. And the service from the Hostesses, to the gracious Managers who walked around and spoke with every table to Sebastian who was so knowledgeable about the menu and helpful, it was a great experience. The only recommendations I would have are to let guests know if there is an automatic 20% gratuity as I think there might have been but we didn’t know and tipped as well. I’m not sure though. And some of the outside tables are a little close together. But so minor. Thanks to everyone at INTIMO for providing us with such a great fantastic dining experience in South Beach!
This is my second time here and it is a must and favorite. Food is delicious!! Every bite provides such a depth of flavors. Fresh, well plated. Service is very hospitable; warm washcloth & tea to start, attentive server & manager from beginning to end. Atmosphere is also fun. Music was in & out during outdoor dining but still a great time. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for Peruvian with an asian flare.
Highly recommend! Does they have Michelin recommendation? I had an amazing dinner at this place. I love Peruvian cuisine and food here was very tasty, it was fresh and delicious, each dish is a work of art and has amazing flavor combinations. It was also great service! (I have something to compare with, believe me) Our waiter really helped us navigate the menu, recommending the best dish to us. Our dinner was worth every penny. This is now my must visit place in Miami. I recommend booking a table if you don't want to stand in line.
A Night to Remember at Intimo – More Than Just Dinner From the moment we stepped into Intimo, it was clear this wasn’t going to be just another dinner—it was going to be an experience. The atmosphere was electric yet intimate, with dim lighting, seductive aromas, and a soundtrack that elevated the evening to something almost cinematic. We were lucky to be taken care of by Franco, the kind of host you wish every restaurant had. He didn’t just serve food—he told a story with every course, guiding us through the menu like a culinary journey. His energy, knowledge, and genuine passion made the night unforgettable. Rafael, who also attended to us, was equally attentive and warm, making sure we were always comfortable and cared for. Each dish was a celebration of flavor—bold, refined, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a discovery, every aroma a memory in the making. The music, the smells, the texture of everything around us—it all came together like a perfectly composed symphony of senses. Yes, the bill reflected the high standards, but honestly? It was worth every single dollar. For what we experienced—a true feast of the soul—the value was unquestionable. If you’re in Miami and want more than just a great meal, go to Intimo. Ask for Franco. Let go. Savor every second.
If I could put 10 stars, i would. Franco made our experience one to remember! I was on my bachelorette weekend with my 7 girls, and when we ordered, Franco got our vibe and told us he would curate something special just for us…needless to say, the food looked, smelled, and according to all the ladies tasted INCREDIBLE! He also was able to curate tasty drinks that went perfectly with our meal not on the menu. We had two allergies at the table- me (dairy, nuts, sesame, and gluten) and another girl with celiac. Franco worked diligently to come up with something creative for us to eat and he really did a phenomenal job. Additionally, he had a list of recommendations for us to go out to after dinner. By the end of the night he was our best friend and took a photo with us for the memory!! If anyone needs a fun, beautiful, and delicious restaurant, PLEASE go here, and ASK FOR FRANCO! 🤍 also could not agree more with the comment below, does this place have a Michelin recommendation, cause if not, lets get that going!! thank you Franco!! We miss you already!
Absolutely delicious and can see why they have so many good reviews! Tried ceviche, octopus, rolls, bombs and the black cod. So so delicious and too hard to pick a favorite! The flavors were amazing! Tried 3 desserts too and each one just as delicious as the other. Yum yumHope to come back again when we are in town. Gabby was our waitress and was so sweet, attentive and helpful. All around a wonderful experience!!!! 5 stars!!
If I could give them 6 stars, I would. We had an excellent dining experience at INTIMO. The food, service, music and ambience were all excellent! Big thanks to our incredible server Franco for being so friendly & warm, and taking the time to explain the menu so comprehensively. This was a night I will remember forever and I look forward to coming back again. If you’re in Miami, you have to come here!
Went here for the first time to celebrate my dad’s birthday weekend. It was the most amazing ambiance and experience. Our waiter was Javier and he was so personable—ask for him next time you go! The food was great, the service was perfect, and my dad had an unforgettable birthday. Thanks Javier!
This place was great for a big party for dinner as well as drinks. INTIMO has a great drink menu as well as a dinner menu. We came with a party of 13 and a reservation at 9pm on a Friday night. I definitely was upset with how long it took us to get seated (45 minutes) even though we came on time but our server FRANKO and everyone else were super friendly and helped us the entire night. All the food was extremely fresh and there was a ton of variety. The food did take a long time to get out (another hour) but again everything was delicious and I wish I had a larger stomach to eat more. We had so much fun and it was a great start to our night before we went out.
The food was amazing! The best Peruvian/japanese fusion. The staff was wonderful! They explained the different options and dishes. Highly recommend tiradito de hamachi and salmon misa miso. Staff was very attentive. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Definitely a great place for a date.
Íntimo: A Culinary Masterpiece in Miami Beach. Dining at Íntimo is an extraordinary experience where gastronomy meets artistry. Each dish is crafted with exceptional detail, delivering distinct, exquisite flavors that showcase a mastery of haute cuisine. The service is beyond refined—more than servers, they are curators of fine dining. Gabriela and Sebastián provided impeccable, passionate attention, making us feel like esteemed guests in a private culinary sanctuary. The ambiance is breathtaking. Live saxophone and flute music enhance the beautifully designed space, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Having dined at Michelin-starred restaurants, I can confidently say Íntimo surpasses expectations. With world-class cuisine, service, and an immersive experience, it is a true Miami gem.
What a beautiful little spot. The traffic was brutal secondary to Spring Break checkpoints on the bridge, but the restaurant was so kind to honor our reservation time. I was surprised to see that the restaurant wasn't full on a Friday night. I moved my reservation time 3 times from 7:30 to 8:30 to 9:30. I'm from Tampa and that would be almost impossible to do at most restaurants. Makes you wonder why this place isn't busier...red wine by the glass choices are poor. I ordered one glass of red and after, an espresso martini. Both were average. My daughter's 2 mocktails (Chiwilla Sexy and Vinicunca) were excellent. We ordered a tuna sushi bomb. $22 for two small rolled up pieces that they light on fire. Tasted good, but clearly you are paying for the show. For our meals, we ordered a sushi roll and the black cod. The sushi roll was average (I've had better in no less than 3 Tampa restaurants) The black cod was quite good. The yuzu tamarind is very sour, which I liked, but my daughter did not. For dessert we ordered the Chola Rusa, which we really enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant. Server (Raema) was very sweet and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and the vibe is relaxed. The live saxophonist was a nice touch.

Cerviche and seafood was decent. We got the seafood tower which came with an arrangement of items for $120. sushi rolls were a tad bit average for what we got. We also had the short rib pappardelle which was rich and tasty. Overall, I thought the seafood and cold bar items were better than the sushi rolls and entrees.
I recently visited a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant located south of 5th, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. In particular, I would highly recommend trying the duck rice - it was an absolute standout! Overall, I had a fantastic time at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Very nice restaurant, food is delicious, just be aware that they charge for water. We asked for regular water (like in all restaurants I have been to) and I assumed that it was tap water, but when I received the bill, I had an extra $14 charge for the 2 bottles we consumed 🤔. Nobody said anything that water wasnt free here. Either way everything else was so good that I kind of forgot the water bill 🤣🤣. Parking is difficult, we had to use valet and that was a extra 20 plus tip, so it is not cheap to visit this restaurant. BE READY TO SPEND $$$$.
Food was beautifully presented but the 105% roll was a little boring. Watercress salad was absolutely wonderful, but the portion size was not commensurate with the price. And the salmon sushi bombs were OK but not terribly special and difficult to eat if you try to dip them in soy sauce. The martinis were beautiful and delicious. Can’t complain about getting monkey 47 when you just order a generic gin martini.🍸👍🏻 they use red olives, so our dirty martini was actually pink and it was delicious. The service is impeccable when you can get their attention. Sometimes it can be difficult to get their attention.
When your goddaughter says she wants sushi for dinner. Sushi it is! Closest restaurant was Íntimo so gave it a try since friends have spoken highly about it. Cocktails are strong and that’s always a good idea! Ordered different rolls and share among us all. Can’t remember the names but some were extremely good while others lacked in flavor. Dessert was definitely the winner and the dulce le leche reminded me of the one I had plenty in Argentina. There’s closer sushi places far better than this establishment. Server wasn’t very attentive had to keep calling the host to get him to order food/drinks.
We tried this restaurant hoping it would be an alternative to Nobu, but honestly, just go to Nobu. Charging $22 for a single piece of sushi with a tiny bit of foie gras added feels unreasonable, it was also overwhelmed with eel sauce masking the taste of tuna. The sushi roll was average, and while the fish in the ceviche was good, the shrimp was not fresh. Our waiter suggested the additional shrimp combo without mentioning it would be an extra cost (not about how much but please mention!). Surprisingly, the best bite was the complimentary fish soup. The pavlova dessert was overwhelmingly sweet, with raspberries, whipped cream, and nothing to balance it out. This place seems more like an Instagram food spot than a quality dining experience. The waiter was amazing, friendly and chatty, but even that couldn’t make up for it because in the end is about the taste. Also, we were the only ones dining indoors on a Sunday night, so don’t trust everything you see online!
I really wanted to like Intimo but unfortunately we recently did not have a good dining experience. When we first moved to SoBe we had ordered delivery and only liked 2 out of the 6 dishes. It’s been a couple years so we decided to give it another shot and sadly we were disappointed by the service and food. The waitress was argumentative and not listening to food allergies. She kept pushing us to order our meal before taking our drink order and stated that the bartender is too busy helping other people. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the food presentation is beautiful. In terms of taste and quality of food, it falls short. WE appreciate good Peruvian fusion, however their take on it just doesn’t work. We had: Lomito Parrillero Nigiri - my guest enjoyed this 105% Roll - this was decent Tiradito Clasico - nothing special Udon Barrios Altos - not a fan Black Cod - wow this was so bad. Too sweet and too much sauce. Arroz Blanco Frito - very bland. I remember this and the black cod being much better a couple years ago. The cocktails were underwhelming. The service was the worst. I’m glad I gave them another shot to confirm I’m not missing out on anything but an upset stomach. It is shocking how misleading the positive reviews are. This is the worst restaurant in the neighborhood.
