Delicious food! I recommend the ropa vieja! Service was amazing! Yumi was friendly, helpful and very attentive! My favorite part was the cocktails- try the coconut mojito!

Really enjoyed this experience. The food was great, and we had meat, fritters, and appetizers. Service was excellent, and the view from the terrace was as well. Inside was a live band, and the music was overall fantastic. Cocktails were very tasty, strong, and made with real ingredients. Out waiter Mike was very helpful and made our experience even better.

Came in right when they opened with my dog and was welcomed so warmly right away. The staff was genuinely amazing super kind, attentive, and they even brought my dog water without me asking, which really meant a lot to me. They made a recommendation for the shrimp ceviche and it was spot on. It was so good I finished it before I even realized it was gone. The fries were solid, and the ropa vieja was delicious I couldn’t finish it there, took it home, reheated it later, and still crushed the rest. Honestly, the food was great, but the staff is the reason I’ll be coming back. They really took care of me and my dog, and that kind of service goes a long way. Definitely will be back.

Highly recommend!! Firstly the staff is all so friendly! They set the tone for a beautiful dinner. We got the mushroom croquettes, the jamon y queso croquettes and the red snapper over coconut rice. The mushroom croquettes were truly the highlight. Finally a small band started playing around 7:30 and they were great! The volume was perfect. Quiet enough to talk but loud enough to vibe. Probably my favorite dining experience I’ve ever had in Miami.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of that Miami energy—great music, beautiful waterfront views, and a lively vibe that instantly puts you in a good mood. But what truly made the experience outstanding was our server, Ancer. He was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was he incredibly friendly and professional, but he also had this warm, upbeat personality that made us feel like we were his top priority. He checked in at all the right moments, made thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience. The food was beyond delicious—every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality in every bite. And the drinks? Amazing. Refreshing, perfectly mixed, and exactly what you want while enjoying the Bayside views. Everything came out quickly and at the right temperature, which shows the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine. Overall, La Cañita Bayside is the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and take in the scenery. I would absolutely come back again and again. And if you go, definitely ask for Ancer—he will elevate your entire experience. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic! Mayra was incredible in taking care of us and the food is to die for! Definitely will be back next time we come to town! Highly recommend the oxtail gnocchi! A combination I never expected, but I will be trying to recreate at home forever! Lechon asado was incredible! We couldn't get enough of it! 10/10!

My first time in Miami and this place was awesome! Waiter ANCER was excellent with recommendations. Sandwich Cubano was definitely, “Autentico.” Cocktails were fantastic (Mojito Royale, Disco Inferno and their signature drink La Cañita).

I had the ceviche and it was so fresh and delicious! My friends had the beef, chicken and spinach empanadas and they were wonderful as well. To me, the best part was when I called them 2 days later and asked if they found a tourist photo from the boat tour I had taken, and the woman took the time to send me that she had it and was willing to mail it to me back in Texas!! 10/10 customer service as I was very sad I had left that photo behind.

The best hidden gem above the boardwalk. The atmosphere was amazing, we sat in the back overlooking the Bay Area. Salsa music playing throughout set the vibes just right. We ate the empanadas and every single one was a hit. So much flavor in each and they’re not stingy about the filling. We also tried some fried plantains that were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The mojitos are delicious and packed with natural ingredients and flavors. Highly recommend if you’re traveling through and would love a delicious Cuban meal.

We ordered the pork and the fish, and my favorite was definitely the fish of the day. The coconut rice was amazing, super flavorful, rich coconut taste, with toasted shredded coconut on top. I kept wondering how they make the rice that good because I love coconut. Still thinking about it. Balcony seating = bay views + giant cruise ships casually parked outside like it’s no big deal. Very Miami. Is it pricey? Yes. But food was good, vibes were nice, and we left full and happy. No regrets.

Ancer was great at explaining the dishes, specials, and even brought a vegan/vegetarian menu to our table upon request. Very helpful- everyone at our table got to enjoy some tasty Cuban food!

There is patio and indoor seating. I chose patio seating on a Saturday night which overlooks the ocean. The snapper fillet was a special for that night along a side of coconut white rice and squash was flavorful. My husband had ribeye steak which was okay, not flavorful, the French fries tasted better. The passion fruit is a must! Churros for desert was ok, served with chocolate syrup and caramel sauce. The staff works hard was welcoming and the restaurant appears clean. The food flavoring can be enhanced with herbs. The food cost more and gratuity is already added to all parties of 2+. Knowing the is in a tourist area, there is a markup price.
