Incredibly tasty food!!! My father and I split the medium whole red snapper, it was cooked and seasoned wonderfully! The sangria was sweet, fruity, and smooth, and the key lime pie was nice and tart(as a good one should be, in my opinion)!
Fantastic restaurant located right off the beach. Their fish ceviche is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. Full of lime and a generous portion considering it is an appetizer. The steak sandwich is also excellent and served on toasted Cuban bread. The sangria was delicious as well. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a bite to eat during your day at the beach.
Good food. Nice staff. Great surroundings. Come early at weekends for easy parking.
Surprisingly the food was really good! I got fish&rice and they got me a huge bowl of really delicious rice with soft and tender chunks of fish, also well seasoned! With side salad After I got full I took to go whole another meal of leftovers haha
Went on the insistence of a family member and just the thought of the 45 minute drive had me going nuts. But decided to do it, drove to the Park which requires a 8.00 entrance fee (they do take card) and then you drive to the restaurant. At first I did not know what to expect as the menu was very lackluster. Immediately regretting my choice. But my wife ordered and my child ordered and I was still undecided until I saw a man enjoying his food with a smile and I asked the lady I wanted that. She said it was rice and fish (WHICH WAS NOT ON THE MENU, BTW). Let me tell you folks it was the tastiest meal 🥘 I have had in a long time. My wife’s fish was very tasty too. My kids churrasco was amazing too. We left very satisfied and enjoyed the pleasant sea breeze that could be felt. Will return my server was very attendant too.
This little restaurant is very nice! Nice ceviche everrree! Have to try and leave a good tip, they will much appreciate. A little away, like 300 meters you will go there the best lighthouse of the hole Florida coast, heck the pics!
Really liked the Fried Yuka and the homemade Sangria!
we love this place! the food is incredible; the fish is so fresh and delicious, and the service is great! we’ve been here a few times, and we’ve always had servers that are friendly and smiling. it’s a lowkey vibe, which is perfect to grab a bite before, during, or after a beach day or hike around the park. the fish sticks and calamari are always on point!
Staff 100% attentive I will say all the way around clean and delicious fried red snapper!
Wonderful! Service was great. Very friendly staff. We had the seafood paella (which is a big enough portion to share between 2) and a fried fish. It was a bit pricey but the paella was absolutely delicious! The fish was also quite good.
I recently read some reviews and I'm sad to see some negative ones but to my family's experience twice when we were there last week for my birthday, it was a good experience. We had fish fingers, fish ceviche, chicken fingers and calamari. The calamari was a bit on the salty side but the rest was excellent, I had to come back for the fish fingers and the fish ceviche so we visited twice and though they were under staff, they were still doing their best to service everyone, I really appreciate them even being open so we can have that experience. The beach is great too!
Amazing food! Best Fish ever had! Perfect location 50 meters away to the beach. Definitely will come back.
A lovely place to relax with some good food and beer after a biking around the park! The food is really tasty, much better than I expected, and the covered pavilion has a really nice vibe. My favorite was the ceviche, which is a hefty portion for an appetizer (I used it as a light lunch for myself).
We were traveling with a family member with mobility limitations. He was able to easily navigate the ramps and restrooms. We had some great fries and burgers 🍔. It’s hard to find beaches that we can get to where handicap access is reasonable. This restaurant and beach worked out great 👍🏼
Incredible place. Just by the beach and for my surprise, with very nice prices. You can get a hotdog for 3usd and a hamburger with fries for 10. I highly recommend it. You will be able to share your meet with some squirrels or even iguanas that are always walking around the place.
During my unforgettable day at Key Biscayne National Park, basking in the sun and relishing the stunning beauty of Miami’s coastal charm, me and my wife dined at the Lighthouse Café. And let me tell you, it was an absolute highlight of the day! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and attentiveness by the incredible staff. The team at Lighthouse Café truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Their friendly demeanor and exceptional service made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. The variety on the menu was impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences. Everything I ordered was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh and of top-notch quality. The whole fried fish is just an absolute highlight. It’s clear that the café takes great pride in sourcing the best ingredients and preparing each dish with care. Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, I highly recommend stopping by Lighthouse Café. It perfectly complements a beach day spent soaking in the natural beauty of Key Biscayne. We left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return.
The placement of this restaurant gives you an amazing view of the beach! The food was great as well but I was not used to the prices being a little up there, I believe it was a good trade off for the calming atmosphere and rushing waves. The service was as you'd expect from your usual restaurant sit in, their staff are courteous and get the job done.
A great option for lunch at the beach. There was plenty of seating (although it is all outdoors, which can be quite hot in the summer) and it was very clean and well kept. The menu was larger than expected and everything was made to order. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which came with fries for $9. They boxed it up for me to take out on the beach. The views from the covered deck are beautiful, with sight lines to both the water and the lighthouse.
Enjoyed take away lunch here while at Bill Baggs. The grilled snapper sandwich was the standout with fantastic flavor that was cooked to perfection. Also had fish fingers which were thoroughly enjoyed. Friendly staff too. The order took only about 10 minutes during the lunch rush. We definitely weren’t expecting this from a small beach cafe! Steps away from parking and Bill Baggs beach. We’ll plan on lunch here going forward.
An oasis for spontaneous beach-goers and explorers where food, water, beers can be purchased. Also where credit card is accepted for beach umbrella and chairs rental (Cash only on beach. USD 25 for one umbrella + two chairs, an amazing value compared to South Beach). Re food — Given this is a cafeteria located in the remote end of a state’s park, with a simple kitchen instead of a full kitchen, with fans instead of AC, public bathroom instead of private ones.. would recommend opting for fast food like dishes (hotdog, fried fishes/calamaries/chicken) instead of the meat/grilled fishes on the menu. Choose well and you will be happy :) Friendly and helpful staffs. A short walk to the beach.
Great service and delicious food! Our family really appreciated not being rushed — it made the meal so much more enjoyable. All the staff were wonderful and served us with genuine smiles and an amazing attitude. Thank you for a lovely experience!
I fell in love with this cafe. I make it a priority to visit here every time I go to Miami. The beaches are beautiful, the coffee is spectacular, and the fried shrimp is delicious. Not to mention the lovely staff. To me, this is prime south Florida. It’s quiet and I get to practice my Spanish.
Comida deliciosa a excelente precio!
Typical Florida Keys cafe. Good service and above average food. Had the shrimp ceviche and snapper sandwich on Cuban bread. Would definitely eat there again should I visit the park again, which has many trails and great views of ocean. Lots of fishermen, etc.
Place is convenient to walk to from the beach with your wet clothes still on. Service is friendly but not accurate with food items. Food was enjoyable, specially when you're very hungry. Prices were on the higher side for the quality of food.
A relaxed outdoor deck with glimpses of the Atlantic, a nice breeze and pleasant atmosphere. The food was fresh and service friendly and very fast. Our dog was welcomed. This little cafe was a lovely spot today.
We stopped in for breakfast. Fast and friendly service. Fresh homestyle food. Covered outdoor patio seating. Simple breakfast menu. Prices reflect location.
Great location and tasty food. When visiting the park this is a nice stop. A little pricey ($19 for a Caesar salad with shrimp), but good flavor and a some lovely scenery.
Great convenient restaurant if you want to see the Biscayne lighthouse. Selection of food is good, but be aware that it’s going to be crowded as it’s the only restaurant nearby. You first need to order your food at the register and will call out your order when ready.
Great view, good food, friendly staff and a beautiful place to take a walk after eating a delicious meal. I recommend this place but just be aware that’s in a state park so there’s an entry fee (last time I was there it was $8)which I personally found reasonable since there’s so much to do there, good restaurants (there’s two there) Beach is clean, there are trails for walking and bring your camera since the views are spectacular at times! Oh if you get lucky you may just see a manatee!
The best thing here is that you are by the beach and next to the lighthouse. Good place to eat something fast after swimming but not a place to stay for long dinners.
Bad timing, because a large group came in. Sticky bottles and table. Yuka frittas was super warm on the inside, i suspect they were nuked. Will not go back for this if i have an alternative.
Nice little restaurant. customer service is good, a nice and clean, but their food has declined this past year, not a good quality anymore is a shame this is my second time this year and we left not so happy about it. I have tried 3 different plates same no taste, sandwich bread a bit hard and burned not what we used to get here. We love going to the beach during the week is a quiet spot so is convenient to eat at the restaurant. But not a place I will choose to eat anymore. Please make some changes in your food.
This place was quaint and charming after a morning at the beach and lighthouse. The only problem I had (which happens far too often in Miami), was the automatic 20% tip. For the quality of food, the server's attentiveness, plastic cups/flatware, and the level of service, it did not warrant that high of a tip. For that reason, I deduct a few stars.
The only spot there. Food was good but it's a shack next to the beach and bathrooms. I did have the Cuban sandwich and it was OK. I guess they can't help it but there were three birds wandering the kitchen.
The place and food is good, but the way the staff handles the clientele is bad. I can understand working with National Park Visitors can be overwhelming, and perhaps being polite is not the best form to educate unpolite customers but that doesn't mean that everyone behaves the same way. Treating everyone with poor customer service skills is not acceptable. The staff seems tired of working there, and they address everyone with a shuch long face in all seriousness that can definitely make you uncomfortable to even order an ice cream.
Had a veggie and cheeseburger here. For the price, pretty bad. Forgetting about the price: pretty bad. On the bright side, the iced coffee was pretty good. Also, can you just use proper REUSABLE dishes? I know this is asking a lot from an American establishment, but it's nicer for customers and the environment, so perhaps think about it?
Slow service, plain food, eggs has no taste, bacon not crispy, bread was cold and hard served on paper plates, really? The location on the beach is fantastic, but the food and ambiance are not inviting, but it is the only restaurant in the area. I said pack your snacks to the beach better.
Service and food was adequate. I can’t recommend this place if there is an alternative. If you’re hungry and need to eat, it’s okay.
Food was delicious! That earned them 5 stars. Service sucked bc when I ordered, she asked "To go?" And I answered "yes, no wait, we are eating here", but when we picked up our food from the counter and sat down, we got yelled at "no opening containers at the tables!" She shooed us away to go sit at picnic tables. I want my $3 tip back lol So, heads up! Even if you know you're going to have left-overs, but you want to sit at the cafe, don't say "To go!" Enjoy the food and the beautiful surroundings!
Not the greatest food. I was served cocktail sauce with my mozz sticks instead of marinara and Had to look for my waitress a few times as well. Ordered the sangria and it was not anything special. I mean it’s a beach restaurant so expectations weren’t high but both the service and the food could have been a little better. It is the only place to eat when you’re on that beach and it’s convenient.
Loved the place for the view and the quietness out there, but the coffee was not the best one.
We were visiting for the first time. We weren't greeted nor got explained to how the seating or ordering works. I recommend you open a small grab and go section on the side of the cafe to boost sales as people on the beach would love water , sparkling water ,snacks to grab from a vendor.
We've just left this place and what can I say... we've just been chased out of the restaurant by a mad waitress because we didn't leave a tip. The reason? The service was cold, unfriendly and awkward compared to the attitude reserved to the tables next door (maybe people she knew). We're used to leaving generous tips every time we go to a restaurant, but here our hearts just weren't in it... Apart from that, the food was really good for a small beach café and the vegetarian wrap very tasty (unlike the waitress who described it as "boring"...!). In short, a good moment that was wasted :/
I got the black beans and a beer. Both were okay and gave 4 stars for the food. Atmosphere was meh and I gave 3 stars, seemed more like a place you just grab food from the counter and sit, but, it's table service. They do have a line for to go food, but it wasn't well advertised. Service needs work and I gave 2 stars, would be 1, but they were nice people, just an unorganized system. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we were told we had to go to a table to get food if we plan on sitting and eating at a table. So, we did. After sitting at our table, we waited around another 30 minutes for somebody to come take our order. That was rather absurd. They should just bring the wait staff to work the counter and it'll make all the waiting go faster. Instead, folks are waiting in the to go line and being told to order at the table, then waiting all over again.
It was just alright, nothing crazy food wise as it's a cafeteria kinda menu. It took too long to get a server even though there were only about 6 tables and when my wife tried to get a paper menu as reception was not that great she was met with a person who pretty much threw the paper at her. We didn't have any options so we decided to stay regardless since we were going to the beach after a quick bite. Felt like a one time thing, next time we'll just bring some snacks or something light rather than eating there again.
Typical Miami hospitality aka rude workers. They got upset because we ordered and then seats opened up and told us we couldn’t sit. They also tell you can take alcohol to the beach but there is a sign that says no alcohol. The fries were the best part of the meal.
It'll do in a pinch, but I was not impressed on this visit - especially at the high price point. I've been to a number of state park eateries in Florida, and for the most part they have been fairly good. My Cuban sandwich was cold; actually some slices of meat were warm while others felt like they came right out of the refrigerator. The bread itself looked squished but not quite grill pressed. The rice and beans on the side (separate order...two individual orders actually for almost $9.00) were tasty enough, but the beans were very thin/runny. Overall, I don't think it's worth the expense; I'll be packing my own lunch next time.
Besides being overpriced (fish sandwich with a small piece of mahi mahi) for approx $16-17, the staff was rude and only a few barely speak english. After they served my small sandwich that came with tomatoes and lettuce, I asked if I could replace my tomatoes as they gave me the ends of the tomato with a couple slices of the middle of the tomato. I put the ends on a plate and returned them. They finally brought out a couple slices about 10 minutes later. When I got the bill, they charged me for extra tomatoes. I told them I didn't order extra tomatoes as they were replacements of the end of the tomatoes. They continued to argue with me (how cheap) instead of just taking the $2.50 charge off. I was also there scouting locations for a future event as they have a few venue spots in the park. However, the way the staff handled that and the very unprofessional follow up made my decision easy to plan my event somewhere else. If they are arguing with me over something so easy, it shows you the lack of customer service and most probable issues and over charging for a private event. My friend who I was there with ended up just giving them $2.50 to get us out of there and to enjoy the rest of our day instead of dealing with this petty place and staff. My suggestion is to avoid and stay away from this place and their other venues at the park in Key Biscayne.
Only one star. I went to ask if they had plastic cutlery because I only needed a spoon. The girl didn't even look at me and said we don't have any. I told her I wanted to order something and she told me that the orders took more than an hour. Poor mediocre people and they are still waiting for tips. I had to leave the place laughing.
The food was bland. Fries were good because they were frozen fries heated up. Fried fish, chicken breast, churasco and Vaca Friday were bland! No taste. The servers were very nice and helpful but it is not their fault the food is not good. Worse $300 spent in a long time
I placed a takeout order and sat down. When my food was ready I took it to the table and sat down again... I was then promptly told it's dine in only to be seated and take out orders have to leave the property and eat elsewhere.... meanwhile out of maybe 8 tables less than half were occupied. Listen, I get you want to make tips and a takeout order taking up a table causes you to lose out... but don't kick out paying customers when half your seats are available, that's just rude. They know there's no where else to get food so they obviously have no problem telling you to buzz off after you patronize their business. 1 star for being treated like a filthy tourist.
I went with my family for breakfast and service was horrible. ARELYS was our server and I kindly asked her to replace my son’s bacon because it was burnt, her reply was “bacon comes out that way” in Spanish and took my son’s plate away to throw his bacon away and brought back the same plate with no bacon. Needless to say, my son didn’t eat his breakfast. I don’t recommend this place as there are many other better places with better service.
Beer was $9 a bottle which is absolutely ridiculous. No price was displayed on the menu either which if it had been I would not have ordered a few. The wait time was nearly an hour to get your food. The food was lacking any type of seasoning and was very unsatisfying. The service was also incredibly slow for about only 10 tables between 2-3 waitresses. We were there about 2+ hours and in that time we maybe saw our waitress three times. I also had to get up and ask for the check. Do not recommend especially when you're with children.
Most unorganized disrespectful staff. No one would seat us and told us to order at the window. We did and sat a table. After waiting 25mins for food and alcoholic beverages they kick us out for sitting at a table. We could of started a tab and no one would help us. Didn't speak English but yet their receipts and ordering register was in English. Food was good. Staff was a disgrace. Manager should of handled the situation no the staff. Owner should be concerned about quality of staff.
Only to disclose a discrimination incident while trying to use the public restroom at the restaurant. It was during lunch hour and 3 groups were in line at the entrance-I was second and wanted to ask if I could use their restroom as it’s within the park premise. The first group was greeted and taken care of and I thought it’s my turn. To my surprise the woman (wearing big glasses) ignored me and went ahead helping the next group. When she’s back, I tried to talk to her politely and again was ignored (first group was there seeing all these) and went away. Then another person joined the line and was asking the first group if he could ask a question to the waitress. The first group very kindly mentioned I was also in line and ahead of him. Finally the woman was back and answered my question with “in the back” rolling her eyes and quickly turned away. In short, don’t come here if you are minorities especially east Asian. Can’t believe this happened in a state park.
DON'T COME HERE! They recycle old customers food. I saw it and reported it to the County food/hotel department. I bite the food and touch it to show my wife how old it was. They exchange it and because we was seating next to the food/ cooking prepping area. I saw him grab it with his hands and dumb it back inside the heating pot. (I also have a extremely bad illness I will not comment on) so besides them that. They keep the ceviche open in a non cold area. Besides that they're raccoonS stealing your food. Besides that you won't be serve because they don't give a damn if you seat down or stand up right in front of them. Service is horrible!!!! Than when they finally acknowledge you. They talk to you like if you're serving them. Besides all of this? Nice view I guess? But you can get a nice view without paying 45 dollars for ONE fish and contaminated food with bad service.
Waited 15 mins to be seated. We were handed menus and pointed to our table. It took another 15 mins to take our order. 15 mins later our drinks came. 45 minutes later still no food and the waiter comes over to say he is sorry but they are busy and would check on our order. He never came back but to walk by us to serve food to others. We never got our food and walked out. I left cash for beer and lost 90 mins of our day with no food. Bring your own food to the park and avoid this nightmare. There's no food pic because there was no food.
The food here has very reasonably priced, staff was very friendly and attentive and the view were amazing! Now with that being said the food was very MID @ best! I ordered a cheese burger how do you ruin that? The patty looked like it came from Sam’s freezer section, my cheese wasn’t even melted just a cold cheese slapped in a patty, wasn’t enjoyable ! If you can bring your own food, again nothing against the servers/waiter they were all wonderful but the food was 🚮
We ordered fish sandwich made of grouper fish. That tasted ok and fish was fresh and nicely cooked. We also ordered fish burrito and 2 chicken burritos all three of them tasted very very bad. Fish in the burrito dint even taste like fish. We had to open and see. Both fish and chicken were like we are chewing rubber. Horrible. Felt like waste of money.
The Staff who rented me the umbrella, is a thief!! He charged me 20 bucks and I paid cash..suddenly he came back and tried to charge me 20 bucks AGAIN...I refused again cause I did it before.. and therefore insulted to my wife with his middelfinger ( I didnt nkow it until we arrived at home)when I was complaining in the restaurant administration
I came to the restaurant on Friday, March 7 at 4:27 am and wanted to make simple to go order. But they refused to serve me, they said that they were already closed, although all the cooks and staff were in place and people were sitting at the tables. I wanted to order a simple Wrap so as not to starve to death on the beach, but they did not find it 5 minutes to do it, although it was 33 minutes before closing. They didn't even say “sorry”, just “NO” Very disappointed.
I visited for the first time today. The beach was very lovely and beautiful. For the most part it was peaceful. It got a bit crowded at some point but it’s a Sunday on a pretty weekend so that’s to be expected. While it was an enjoyable place to be I have to say the food was terribly disappointing quality for the prices. I paid just over 60 dollars for 2 orders of chicken fingers (3 pieces of chicken and a handful of fries) and one side of mozzarella sticks which was 4 sticks and a small side of marinera sauce. The same food quality and amount you could pay 20 dollars for at basically any other place. At the time to pay the bill I paid the total for the meal and returned the receipt to the lady at the counter because we hadn’t even sat down to eat it was a plastic bag with takeaway boxes. I put down no tip and the lady came back asking why I wasn’t going to leave a tip. Because I wanted to be left alone I put down 2 dollars for the tip and left. Building up a 60 dollar tab by ordering 6 chicken fingers some fries and 5 mozzarella sticks all in a plastic bag is pretty lame. Even lamer is handing me said plastic bag over a counter and demanding a tip for the “service” of handing me it. As beautiful as the beach was I don’t think I will be returning at any time. Fairly unprofessional ladies work the nearby restaurant and it’s just not worth what the prices are set at for what you receive service and food wise. If you’re bringing your own food you’ll probably have a nice time tho.
We had fish and fries here, paid for the food, and left $2 tip. The food is already pricey itself. The waitress chased us and told me that I should leave a tip that is calculated at $10- $20. We usually pay a generous tip if we know that there was an actual proper service. $2 is what I think is best here. So I didn't changed any amount. They even barely speak English. In short, when you go here, either you give a tip they calculated for you, or you don't. Otherwise, the place is nice because it's a stone throw away from the beach.
Unfortunately we had a terrible service experience on Sunday. We were served by a waitress who must have been the shift leader because I saw her giving instructions to other employees. She was very rude
TERRIBLE service with ridiculous pricing. 2 bottles of beer, one calamari, fried shrimps, two small trays of fries for $55. Calamari was extremely soggy; it tasted like steamed squid with some flour on the outside. Shrimps were okay but overpriced, and absolutely no seasoning on the fries and weren’t crispy. We had a total of six people and they only gave three forks, and the waitress was rude. She barely responded to us, even when we asked her a question which she proceeded to just walk away without answering. WORST part: they gave us condiments in a USED FRIES TRAY. on the bottom were grease and pepper and it was disgusting. When we asked a different waitress for a new one (which she barely seemed to be listening anyway), we never got it and had to deal with what we were given with since the fries were so unseasoned. I saw a different review after we left about how they saw the cooks reuse leftover foods, so I recommend not coming here unless it’s for a quick beer if ur okay paying 9 bucks/bottle.
As another reviewer mentioned, typical pathetic Miami hospitality. Called them and someone hung up on me because I don’t speak spanish. Last time I checked this is not a place for spanish speakers only.
I always wanted to go to this place and I had high expectations. Lighthouse Cafe is not what I expected. SERVICE Terrible. The waitress look at me when I arrive and asked me: "do you need something?". Well, I guess a table -I thought-. The waitress was not friendly and attentive. She never came to me during the mealtime to ask me if I need something else. I actually needed more water. I asked her to please bring first the appetizer, then the main dish. She brought everything at the same time. QUALITY The appetizer was Lobster Bisque with a lot of salt. Not meat and little pieces of lobster at all, very greasy. The main dish was mahi mahi and rice with beans. She told me there were only one side and it came with two sides, so could pick my second choice of side. The other side was a salad: a lot of onion and lettuce and olive oil, that's it! The fish was tremendously salty and it terrible, not fresh. It was like a piece of rubber. The rice was ok. PRICE Well, considering that the restaurant is located by the beach and it must be expensive to transport all the food, the price should be ok. But, for this quality and the terrible service it doesn't worth a penny. LOCATION The restaurant is located at the end of Key Biscayne, you need to drive a lot from the beginning of the bridge. It's behind the beach, so you can walk from the sand to this restaurant. SUGGESTION I ate long time ago in a restaurant by the marina that is close to this place. It was good and nice. If you are really hungry you have this option near to the beach. It's a long walk, you might want to take the car. There is no ocean view from the restaurant.
It’s a pretty spot, but the staff acted like they didn’t want to work, like my being there was an inconvenience. The pancakes were basic but fine, the omelet was not cooked through and was just eggs with a slice of cheese stuck in it. Location is convenient to the lighthouse and beach access, but if you can wait until you leave the area to eat, I would.
On December 31st, I came here for lunch and paid a bill of $71.71. A few days later, without any explanation and most importantly without my authorization, I noticed an updated charge of $83.71 on my card. This is not about $12 — it’s about the principle. It genuinely feels like they thought they were entitled to take money from my account whenever they wanted (this is stealing money). I called the restaurant twice to report the issue. Both times I received vague and useless responses like “we’ll send an email” or “we’ll get back to you within 24/48 hours”. Of course, nobody ever contacted me. What’s even more disturbing is that they kept my card details and apparently felt free to use them without consent. That is completely unacceptable. I’m honestly shocked by this behavior. Be very careful with this place if you care about your money. I’m forced to leave this review because this is exactly what a place like this deserves, and I truly hope anyone considering going there reads this carefully before deciding.
Terrible service. We were waiting in line with a child when a man who arrived after us cut in front of everyone. The waitress rudely served him first. I politely pointed out that we had been waiting, but she completely ignored us and continued serving him out of order. The situation was handled very poorly and without any respect for customers, especially families with children. We left the place immediately. Very disappointing experience.
This restaurant encourages people to feed the racoons that come into the outside eating area to beg for food. Feeding racoons is illegal in Florida and for good reason. We paid for our lousy sangrias and cancelled our food order. Service was terrible including a server who only spoke Spanish (we don't). Never going back.
