Been going to Loven Ovens for year, even when they were in Doral. The staff there is family oriented and always great. All their stuff is made to order and fresh. They get busy pretty fast, which is no surprise when the food is good. Definitely recommend, excellent place to eat.

This is my go to spot when I'm down there for work. To find a good NY style pizza in Medley is a diamond in the rough. Whether it's slices and a soda for lunch or a dish and a beer for dinner, I have never had a bad meal. Oh, and did I mention the Garlic Knots? This is not a big fancy sit down restaurant, it's just a nice little blue collar family run hole-in-the-wall that serves good food and has a friendly staff.

I discovered this pizza 🍕 location a couple of months ago, and it's my location for delicious pizza. The slice is New York style pizza 🍕. It is a cozy atmosphere. The service is great! Try it! You will be hooked.

We found this awesome place we are new to the area and gave it a shot.. the food was truly amazing, tasty and the price was also amazing for their food menu. The cheesy garlic rolls are the bomb best I’ve had! Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the entire Hialeah Gardens/ Medley area. I'm thankful for how close they are. I've been eating at their place since they had their location in the Doral area. Owners are amazing people. Staff is very kind. Waiting time is normal. Super fresh food, I can't say I have ever had a bad experience with them.

Great mom and pop pizza spot. Small, cozy with Italian flare. They hustle to please their customers and they get busy at noon because it's worth the slice. Try the wheat flat bread pizza with tuna. Great rolls and the homemade vinegrette on the table tops goes great with everything!

This place is an absolute hidden gem in a city where good pizza is nearly impossible to find. Crust is perfect, pizza was fantastic, fried raviolis were great. The staff are super friendly and they even deliver. This is a must during your next urban sperlunking adventure.

I'm so upset. I'm a tourist in the area and it's likely I won't be back in this area so the fact that this is the best calzone I've ever had is so disappointing. It's garlicky, it's crispy outside, it's soft inside and it's stuffed with cheese and toppings, it's amazing. I'm so sad this is probably my last time I'll get to have it.

I really enjoyed coming here. There are a lot of different options on the menu that could keep you coming for weeks. One thing I recommend are the wings JP makes. Delicious doesn't even describe how good those wings are. This is a must visit if you're eating out in Medley.

Great service and great food. Usually buy the pizza lunch specially. While the bread is perfect and crisp and the cheese is the right amount, my favorite is the marinara sauce.

As a truck driver I eat here and there.this place was friendly' and inviting. food with diesel price in my salad was actually great..... Day 2 stuck in medley florida. I decided to see how this place is delivery was so I ordered a pizza . not too bad I didn't even know the address I was at the delivery man found me delivered it to my truck and the pizzas actually very good. the delivery driver was also very friendly. it makes coming to south florida a nice experience because most of the time coming to miami is like going to new york.

This is currently my favorite pizza in Miami. The house salad dressing is delicious and addictive. The wings are great but unless you order ahead it’s a bit of a wait since they are made fresh to order.

Just dropped by here on my way to the hotel down the street. Was suspect of a good pizza place in this neck of the woods but was pleasantly surprised! Calzone was as good or better than any I've had back at home in NY. Dinner salad was fresh and blue cheese was great. But even better, the guy working (not sure if he was maybe the owner) was so personable and efficient. Can't wait to come back on my next work trip to the area. Thanks for a great impromptu meal tonight.

Best New York style pizza in the Miami-Dade area. I've been enjoying their pizzas and garlic rolls since 1999 when they were located just north of the Dolphin Express way and had it almost daily for my lunch break in the summer of '99. The same owner is still there, cranking out perfect pizza pies himself. I drive out of my way every time I'm back in Miami, visiting my family, to make sure I don't go back to Cali without enjoying a slice of heaven. I haven't found a better pizza in Los Angeles either, and not for want of searching. Do yourself a favor: try it!!

From the midwest and been here in Miami for about a month. Haven't had a better dinner since Ive been in Florida. My husband and I ordered a take out order and the man that took our order was so nice and easy. The Food...... absolutely delicious perfection! I had the spaghetti and the fried ravioli and my husband had the Italian sub. We very much enjoyed it all. So fresh and all the seasoning, toppings, everything was perfect! We will definitely be eating dinner with them again.

My kids and I had a great experience, the dough for the crust was good and I usually don’t eat crust. The tomato sauce was also well seasoned on the pizza. I ordered a burger for myself and the bread was soft and thin cut with all the fixings, the ‘hangover’ burger. Quick service, definitely worth the stop

Most important allows me quiet time to sit in my corner and enjoy lunch. The owner & Staff have welcomed me with open arms. Lady behind the counter with everyone else do an exceptional job. The chicken Alfredo with garlic rolls was the best we’ve ever had! Came in within 15 minutes of closing and he was very happy to still make our food. We appreciate that so much!

Loven ovens in Medley, Florida. It is a very popular restaurant amongst its hardy, blue collar, lunch crowd serving quality pizza that even an aristocrat would enjoy. The bread is made fresh to order, not super oily and flavorful, and not to mention, huge pizza slices. Look out for the lunch special, two slices and a drink for $10, wonderful for any budget. This is not only a pizza place however as they also serve sandwiches, Stromboli’s and even calzones. Quality, family style service with pizza like your hometown chef used to make.

Best pizza ever from any type of place. It's made right in front of you or at least it was in my experience. The cashier was amazing his name was Alex Gonzalez. He was very friendly and nice to talk to made things great and the entire experience went by faster then what it seemed. Even threw in a few extra garlic knots . Would definitely say I would come back again the next time.

Excellent spot for casual dining. I went here twice. Full meat lovers pizza for dinner. Excellent taste, thin, but firm crunchy crust. Great service. Sat outside to enjoy the weather. Then returned next day, had lunch with a simple hamburger. Extremely good, well prepared, toasted buns, with drink and fries. Tasted like a backyard, homemade grill from home. A++++ Highly recommend.

Estaba rodando con algo de hambre y me conseguí esta Restaurtante. Me dio curiosidad y entré a ver el menú. Lo interesante no fue la pizza (muy buena por cierto) sino que la pasta que pedí la gratinan en unos envases de metal que me recordaron a un restaurante que comía muy seguido en mi país. Mi sorpresa es el sabor de la salsa, adictiva, ya verán como deje el plato. Todo fresco, bien hecho y el ambiente tranquilo, ahhh las cerveza que me tome Helada! De verdad me alegro haber parado allí y comer. Por cierto, los precios bien económicos. Pasen y disfruten!

One of the fancier restaurants in Medley! The chicken parm I ordered was delicious with plenty of marinara sauce. It did take a little long to serve, perhaps some pieces of bread while waiting would be a good bonus.

First time in this part of Miami (west Hialeah) and had a bad craving for a good Pizza (i.e. NYC style). In Toronto (ON, Canada) there are some good spots, but still can't find an authentic NYC type of product. That being said, was hesitant to try this place as it isn't a residential area and most of Miami seems to be latin based. Meaning, the products usually have a latin slant to it which is different - good IF that is what you want. So, ordered a Med cheese half pepperoni: thin crust, just enough sauce, left handed pepperoni layout - Delicious. Didn't have a chance to order anything else as we got there at close on a Monday. The chap running the place (Alex, I believe) is from Jersey - so makes sense why the 'za was good. Definitely worth going back - even staying in Doral or like a 30 min drive away.

Very good crust, as good as any crust in Miami. The cheese isn't as good, and the sauce is somewhere between. the end result is a very good pizza. Near my work so this is a lunch go-to and I've never heard one complaint. The place is packed for lunch on Fridays. Parking is easy.

Nice place for quick Italian cuisine. Large daily options sure to satisfy everyone. It's a counter order system with seating. Naturally not intended for full table service, but the food is decent with a home cooked feel. Prices are very fair. Drop by for a pizza made to your liking.

Pizza was authentic new York style. Sauce was really good had a sweetness to it. But then I ordered same on separate occasion and the sauce was little bland. So far it's best place in doral for ny style pizza though.

The lasagna is great. The pizza not so much - I don't like the seasoning they put on the pizza. Overall it's a good place, quick service, good prices and they offer lots of options and combos. It's busy at lunchtime.

Buyer Beware! My wife and I went to the Sunrise restaurant because we wanted fish fry's for dinner. We were going to go to the Tin Fish restaurant which is about 100' away but they were closed on Sunday. Long story short we decided to check out Loven Oven. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 fish fry's an ice tea and a Pepsi. Come to find out that the fish fry's were not fresh fish but frozen breaded fish out of a box. Anyone can tell the difference between fresh fish and frozen fish. Just to be sure, I called Fred who claimed to be one of the managers and he confirmed to me that it was in fact frozen fish. I guess the worst part of it was that the bill came out to $64.00. I almost fell off the chair. So beware when ordering food because you will get frozen bar food. I do have to say that the service was excellent but I feel they are way overpriced. Unhappy Frozen Food Customer.

Food is good but customer service--not so much. We waited 45 minutes for a pizza to be delivered today and found a black hair in it as soon as we opened the box. Called the restaurant, was left on hold after telling them about the hair. When the guy returned to the phone- instead of apologizing- he told me the person making pizzas doesn't have hair! Like the hair got in the pizza after it left the restaurant. Very coldly offered to make me another pizza or give me my money back. Money please!!!! Yuck!! Oh and he made a point to ask for the hairy pizza back!! You GOT it!!

For starters no acknowledged me waiting in line to order. They passed right by me numerous times in the 5 minutes i was standing there. In addition i ordered a house salad that was clearly marked in the menu on the wall at $5.95. I told him to look at the board. He told me "Its $6.95 you still want it?" with an attitude. Needless to say i will not be going there again.

I had very discomforting and unpleasent experience at this location. I placed an order (a sit in order) of fries and a slice of pizza. About five minutes pass and I'm still waiting for my pie. Now it's 2016 and I'm an optimistic enough person to believe racism isn't a thing but clearly at this establishment it is. A white woman walked in and ordered two plain slices, another five minutes passes and still no food, Ironically enough this womans slices are done. I proceed to wait another five minutes (which my wife can attest to) and finally my order was ready. They decided to pack up my food which as I stated earlier I ordered my food to sit in. I unpack my lunch and would you believe on top of the crappy service my food wasn't even hot, it wasn't warn either. It was like it had been sitting out. I'm not the type to complain about food being cold but the service was just awful. If your white you might enjoy this establishment otherwise I'd say don't bother.

The price on the display had two pizza and a drink for 5.95, they charged me 6.99 I explained to them that it was not correct and it clearly displayed 5.95 the lady behind the counter is very rude and explained to me that they no longer follow the display and the unreadable chalk board was more accurate and they can change the prices at anytime. The problem is not the price change but the lady at the counter who was so rude in explaining it to me in a hostile pissed of manner.

Stopped here randomly on a road trip. The food looked and smelled great. About 1/4 way into my calzone I pulled a black hair from it. As I was contemplating continuing to eat I immediately found another black hair about 3 inches long inside the calzone. Needless to say, I was done. My wife said "well check out the staff, no hair nets, hats, nothing". Just bushy sweaty hair over your food being prepped. Glad they're not near me, I don't have to worry about being attacked by a furry calzone ever again!

Very disappointed in the Chicken Parm sub. The roasted sub roll was good, but the "chicken" cutlet was over spiced and tasted like salmon. I really thought I was eating salmon, it tasted so similar. It was a big disappointment.

Food is ok ; however NEVER expect your delivery /pick up / dine_in order to be correct. I have given them several oportunities to make it right and they continue to make mistakes on the orders. The only reason you still on business is because there are not many places around your area.

Pizza was ready in about 8 minutes - it was a pre-cooked pie with ingredients added. Texture of rubber, but soggy rubber. I feel I would have done better with DiGiorno's from Publix

Don't order using GH. I ordered but food was never delivered, even though they charged my card. It's been well over a week and still no refund. Poor way to do business.

Waited 30 minutes for 2 pizza slices, im always pressed with time, i asked for refund because i couldnt wait, the manager said i had to wait, i left without pizza, already paid for my order, very frustrated, if they coulndt provide, i should at least gotten my refund $7.79, not going in there ever again, im in the courier delivery business, and when a customer paid already, they are expecting me to deliver, thnks for your co-operation!!!

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the customer service during my recent visit. Before our pizza even arrived at the table, I asked the front staff member if we could have some to-go boxes since we were in a bit of a hurry. Instead of assisting, she pointed at the pizza (which had just been brought out) and said, “It’s right there. When you're done, I’ll bring you the box.” Not very helpful, but I let it go. Later, when we asked if we could get To-Go cups, she gave us an annoyed, almost irritated look—like she was bothered we spoke to her in Spanish—and said, “I don’t speak Spanish.” We immediately switched to English, but instead of offering any courtesy, she simply pointed at the cups and turned her back on us. Customer service is just as important as the food itself. A bit of kindness and professionalism makes a big difference, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. Such a dumb way to lose customers.

Hoy fuii a comer lunch con mi hijo y pedimos una pizza grande. Desde que llegamos la actitud de la señora que nos atendió fue muy ruda. Cuando me acerque a pedir vasos para la soda ella me dijo de muy mal modo "I don'tspeak spanish" me hizo sentir discriminada No porque ella no hablara español sino por la forma en que me echó en cara que yo no lo pedi en inglés 🤷 ☹️ bueno terminare diciendo que obvio no volveré a sentirme incomoda y la comida nada especial ni diferente. No vale la pena el maltrato al cliente que decide gastar su dinero ahi. No lo recomiendo para nadie que no hable inglés. Se sentirán incómodos habiendo miles de lugares en Miami que con gusto te atienden en español.
