First time trying Peruvian food so I have nothing to compare it to but it was nice. A bit too salty on the sauce of the Causa dish. Favourite dish was the Pulpo one. Flavours are different to me but overall was a nice experience and would recommend. Staff really nice and helpful and the seating is spacious with nice decorations. Angela was our waitress and she was super helpful and recommended all the dishes! Really sweet and nice; thank you. Would recommend.
Pisco Bar is pure vibe. From the moment you walk in, the energy is on point—great music, relaxed atmosphere, and a crowd that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The food is excellent. Fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor, with every dish clearly made with care. Pair that with well-crafted drinks, and you’ve got the perfect setup for a night out or a laid-back evening with friends. What really sets Piaco apart is the balance: fun without being chaotic, stylish without trying too hard. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps everything flowing smoothly. If you’re in Manta and looking for great vibes, great food, and a place that just feels right, Piaco Bar is a must. Definitely coming back.
I can’t say I’m experienced with Peruvian food.. so take this with a grain of salt, but it’s really good, and really salty food. The presentation is also good. I’d come back but unsure if I’d like it as much the second time unless I asked for less salt! Seafood is excellent. Service from Angela is excellent.
Manta in Wynwood delivers bold flavors with impressive creativity. The tuna tataki with sweet potato is the clear standout, beautifully balanced and unforgettable. The scallops with parmesan are rich and elegant. The octopus with gnocchi has excellent flavor and becomes wonderfully tender toward the center though the edges are a bit firm. The meal is on the pricey side but the quality makes it feel justified. My girlfriend and I loved every dish.
I ate at this restaurant when I was in Wynnwood. They have a huge menu and great photographs of the food, which makes it easier to select items. I had the Tortilla las Manta (mahi-mahi tacos) appetizer and the Chaufa Fonca Peruvian fried rice. The tacos were very good. The fried rice was oily and average tasting for $26. I would get something different in the future. Total bill was $73.75, which included one glass of wine. Be aware they automatically charge a 20% service charge, even if you sit at the bar. Good customer service.
Excelent service, food and the whole vibe of the restaurant. This is our 3rd time and there will definitely be more! Angela was our server today, was sweet and really helpful when it comes to options to help my husband (since he has some food allergies) Thank you Manta! <3 see you around
This is my favorite restaurant in Miami. Whenever my boyfriend and I are in town we will always make a trip to Manta. The ceviche tacos are something that I DREAM ABOUT sometimes, they’re the perfect balance of creamy and crispy and I always want to order more when I’m there. I’m also a big fan of their cocktails. The entrees are all very good as well. Overall, I really appreciate their creative menu and perfect execution. I absolutely recommend if you are in Wynwood looking for a good dinner !
Amazing experience, must try if you’re in Miami. Great and fulfilling food, cocktails are another level! Highly recommended.
Incredible place, amazing Peruvian food, the service was out of this world! Adriana was so sweet, kind, helpful and always took care of anything we needed. Everything we preferred was delicious. Beautiful place with great atmosphere and energy. They really give you a very special experience of miami vibes!
Delicious food… we did the conchitas a la parmesana and they were over the top!! The ceviche trio and husband ate the rocoto relleno. Everything was super tasty… they leave you wanting more! Portions are more than enough. Viviana was our server and she was super attentive, amicable and knowledgeable. The golden star of the day was the Cathedral Chicha Pisco Sour… kudos to the wonderful bartender! We ordered 2 and they tasted exactly the same… consistency is key and they nailed it!
We visited this truly welcoming Peruvian restaurant, where we tasted traditional dishes full of flavor and prepared with great care. Every course let us discover a little piece of Peru, from the classic appetizers to the desserts. A special thank you to our waitress, Angela, who was always kind, helpful, and smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
We found this restaurant last minute and decided to try it because it had almost perfect ratings! It did not disappoint us at all. Everything we got was so delicious and perfect; plus, our waitress was so friendly and helpful with picking out our meals. They have so many good food options and you can’t go wrong with any decision. We especially loved the octopus gnocchi and steak & shrimp pasta. If you are ever in the area, must check this place out!
We live in the neighborhood and LOVED this spot! Amparo was the best and provided us such efficient and great service! Our drinks and appetizers were delicious and brought out very quickly! We will definitely be returning here- the lomo saltado with beef and risotto was fantastic
Amazing Peruvian Cuisine with Incredible Ambiance We celebrated a birthday here, and everything about this place was exceptional! The classic ceviche was fresh and flavorful, and the risotto with tenderloin was an absolute 10/10--perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, complemented by live music that added to the festive mood. They even surprised us with a courtesy dessert for the birthday girl, which was such a thoughtful touch! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience with authentic Peruvian flavors, great music, and outstanding service, this is the spot. Highly recommended for any special occasion or just a fantastic night out!
First time at Manta and it did not disappoint! Everything came out pretty quickly and tasted super fresh and amazing. We got a few apps, and some dinner entrees and everything was incredible. Thank you to our server, Adriana for being so great with all the food recommendations and being so attentive. She definitely made the experience more enjoyable :)
Gorgeous spot with a beautiful seating area and very clean surroundings. The menus are some of the best I’ve seen, with visuals for every item that made choosing so much easier. We Ordered: Taco de Cebiche, Tataki Ahumado de Atún (octopus and tuna), and Acevichqdo Maki roll. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind too much. They do add an automatic 20% tip, so perhaps that affects the pace since the tip isn’t tied to service quality. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.
If you’ve been searching for a restaurant with exceptional food, service, and ambiance, you cannot skip out on Manta in Wynwood. José did an incredible job recommending dishes and drinks that were out of this world. He made sure we were well taken care of throughout the experience. Quite literally everything was perfection, and if you have a taste for perfection, look no further.
Where do I start Atmospheres: Coming in feels invited and comfortable . The Decor is Subtle but pops with the theme of an Ocean Marina Food : they offer a full variety of different but ethnic food and large portions of sauce and flavor . Service : my sever was Mark and he was great . Phenomenal actually . From recommendation of food to knowledge of menu . Will be coming back often .
I took my nieces visiting from Europe (England), who wanted good South American cuisine. So we tried Manta and were incredibly impressed! The service was great, the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! I love the pictorial respresentation in the menu that allows you to see all the dishes before you order. They really look as good as the picture (or even better) when they come out. Our server was Fedra. She was kind, courteous, patient when describing the choices and answering our questions amd extremely receptive to any request.
Teena took great care of us today. Food was excellent and the service even better. I highly recommend this place. We got the ravioli and short rib. Both delicious.
Lorena provided excellent service! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her positive attitude made our experience even better. We will definitely be back!
Incredible, I could barely speak. 10/10 and Felipe was amazing. All of his recommendations we ordered and every dish was out of this world. Service was also 10/10 … I will be back
Felipe was amazing and informative on the menu. The food was oh so good, one of the best we have tried and we've been to many Peruvian restaurants around the world. Definitely looking forward to returning! Try the ceviche tacos. 😬🤤
Peruvian restaurant in Wynwood. We made a reservation for 11 here at 7:30pm. The staff and host greeted us and we were seated pretty quickly. The menu is expansive, there are so many different foods to choose from and everything looks amazing. My side of the table ended up ordering octopus appetizer, Peruvian rice with ceviche, and Peruvian rice with seafood and sausage on top. The food came out hot and fresh, the octopus appetizer was so fresh and tangy, and so unique. The Peruvian rice was delicious and served in a cast iron. This restaurant was amazing and I would definitely come back here!!
We had a great dinner with friends at Manta, it’s probably our third time dining here and it has never disappointed. Felipe took amazing care of us, he was attentive without being overbearing, he was friendly and made plenty of recommendations without being pushy. Definitely recommend!
Love this place ! Food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The food was very tasty and full of flavors every bite i took it just kept getting better . They have good service and the was food hot but it didn’t take long for it come out . My server was Ampapo , she was super sweet and she explained to me the dishes and what they had , she was very helpful. Definitely recommend!
We had the Alfredo and The Lomo Sarasota our server Teena’s recommendation!!! Excellent!!!! Both dishes complimented each other perfectly. We had the best service from entry to finish. We will be back!!!
Amazing food. We got some ceviche, paella, pasta, and other rice dishes. Everything was fantastic. We were taken care of by Raul and he gave us great service. 100% will come back.
Absolute Jem in the Wynwood District. Everything we had was fresh and presented beautifully! Flavors were a 10/10! Fedra helped us and she made some amazing recommendations! Portions are huge and it’s such a great vibe in here! Will definitely come back!
We came to Miami for the week and went to a different restaurant each night. For our last night we chose to eat at our favorite restaurant of the week and Manta was our winner! Every dish you order is fantastic and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The fish is super fresh and the spices they use are a mix of unique and traditional. Our server, Ana Maria, was so sweet and attended to us very well. She recommended we eat the tiramisu for dessert and she didn’t disappoint. From our two nights here, we got the ceviche classico, conchitas a la parmesana, tataki ahumado de atun, tacos de cebiches, pulpos camarones y calamares and the mousse lucuma for dessert. It’s hard to choose which was the best because they were all so good and different, but hands down you can’t go wrong with the ceviche and tacos. We will definitely be back!
I came with a large party our server Stephanie was above and Amazing. She recommended el arroz conquistador and the best pisco sour my husband loved it! I will be back and can’t wait to try other dishes
Manta Peruvian Restaurant in Wynwood was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The Hulk drink was next-level—bold, refreshing, and perfectly balanced (honestly unforgettable). The fettuccini was rich and comforting, and the lomo was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and packed with authentic Peruvian taste. Angela was great and made the experience even better with her attentive and friendly service. Amazing food, great vibes, and a must-visit spot in Wynwood. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent experience. Lore was very kind, attentive, and professional from the moment we arrived. She recommended Peruvian dishes that were absolutely delicious and always made sure we had everything we needed. Her attitude made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!
Teena was amazing and made our experience at Manta in Miami even better. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great time. Her recommendations were spot-on and she kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Exceptional service from start to finish—thank you, Teena!
Manta was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The atmosphere is beautiful and vibrant, the service was top-tier, and the food… INSANELY GOOD!!! Felipe, our waiter, was beyond incredible. He was so attentive, friendly, and answered all my questions about the dishes. ( it was our first time ). You can tell he truly knew the menu! We started with the tacos and I HIGHLY recommend them as a starter. They were packed with flavor and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Every bite was delicious! And the classic ceviche !! Wow!!! So good! Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was 10/10. I’m definitely coming back and bringing friends next time. Manta did not disappoint!
Manta in Wynwood is a standout spot for amazing Peruvian fusion dishes. You can’t go wrong with any of their ceviches or cocktails—they’re all fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the vibrant vibe inside made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing! My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine’s dinner, and it truly turned our night around. Our server, Angela, was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. I always say you never know what someone may be going through, so it’s important to treat people with kindness. Angela had no idea that we had just experienced a really disappointing situation at another restaurant where we had a reservation. The fact that they were able to accommodate us last minute, treat us with such warmth, and serve such incredible food made the evening feel even more special. Angela, gracias 🤍 You made our Valentine’s night one to remember
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Manta in Wynwood, and everything was absolutely perfect. We were a large party of 16 people, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The food was spectacular — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What truly made the night unforgettable was the outstanding service from Amparo. She was amazing — attentive, fast, and made sure every single guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. Handling such a big table is never easy, but she did it flawlessly. We come to Manta often and always make it a goal to try something new from the menu — and once again, everything we ordered was delicious. And of course, their Pisco Sours are the best in the city — not only are they incredibly tasty, but also perfectly strong, just the way they should be. Honestly, this is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended!
Had an amazong meal. Our server Alexandra was over the top amazing. The manager Jorge made sure we were happy even while they were at capacity. We sat outside. Was amazing. Food spectacular. If you are in town, go!!! Best place ever. Our hotel told us to go. He was right!
I had such a fantastic experience here! The ceviche was absolutely great. And a special thank you to Alexandra for the amazing service! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot-on. Definitely will be visiting again - highly recommend!
Manta Peruvian Restaurant keeps it clean and confident. The ceviche is bright and dialed in, the pork belly hits that sweet spot of crispy and rich, and the pasta dishes are surprisingly strong. Not an afterthought, actually craveable. Big shoutout to Felipe. Attentive, relaxed, and genuinely knows how to take care of a table without hovering. Short version. Great food, great service, worth your time.
Our waiter’s name was Felipe and everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food to the menu setup was absolutely perfect. Our waiter was attentive and so, so helpful in helping us choose what to try as people who have no experience with Peruvian food. All of his recommendations were spectacular, and all of the food tasted fresh and delicious! The atmosphere of the place was amazing, and the menu had pictures of every single item alongside helpful descriptions. Overall fantastic introduction to Peruvian food, taste and ambiance were unmatched. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!
We had an amazing experience at Manta Wynwood. Ivan was our server and he was absolutely excellent. He took incredible care of our large group of 14 and made the entire evening feel seamless. The food was outstanding. We ordered several dishes to share and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The seafood dishes were especially memorable, fresh, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. The cocktails were also very good and paired perfectly with the meal. I brought my team here while visiting Miami and was so proud to introduce everyone to this restaurant. Everyone loved their experience, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. We had such a great time and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.
Raul at Mantra is an outstanding server. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and he made the entire experience feel effortless and welcoming. You can tell he truly cares about providing great service. Raul is a big reason we’ll be coming back—ask for him if you’re dining at Mantra!
Get the Tiradito Toho!!! The fish is so fresh, cut in thin slices and the sauce is absolutely amazing, the perfect combination of savory, freshness and texture! I also loved the anticuchero octopus with pesto gnocchi! The octopus was so tender and delicious, and the Peruvian pesto was flavorful and perfectly coated the gnocchi. The chicha sour was so yummy and refreshing! The service was superb as well, Raul was always checking on us! I definitely recommend Manta, must-go for sure!
Excellent service. I came here and sat at the bar, where the customer service and attention from the staff was super (rarely do I see this level of service in Miami). I ordered the ceviche tacos, the lomo saltado, and a ceviche sampler, all amazing. Got tres leches for dessert, which was just ok, could’ve skipped it. Overall, fantastic place, highly recommend and will return.
Moved to Miami three days ago and this is the second place we picked for dinner, and DAMN, did not disappoint! For starters, Stefano, our waiter kicked off the experience with a great welcome and full run down of the menu and the questions we had. And his recommendations were chefs kiss. The flavor of the food was perfect - unique yet not too overpowering. This will be a repeat place for us now that we live here. Well done, Manta. And well done, Stefano - you’re a pro in your field!
One of my favorite dining moments in recent months! This restaurant perfectly captures a night out in Miami with it's electrifying flavors, fresh and creative ingredients and beautiful dining environment. Our service was immaculate. This was my first time trying the Japanese style of Peruvian cuisine so I was curious. Everything exceeded my expectations and I can't recommend it highly enough!
While in Miami, we went to Wynwood and planned our first visit to a Peruvian restaurant. The choice was the best we could have dreamed of. We had one of the most unforgettable culinary experiences of our travels. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted delicious – true culinary poetry. Our taste buds were delighted with these sensations 😛 of unprecedented flavors. A place worth recommending to those who appreciate the culinary artistry of the people preparing the dishes at Manta restaurant… wooow… thanks to what we experienced here, we decided to visit Peru ❤️
Food is so good I had to come here twice before leaving. The mahi mahi tacos are amazing. I devoured a whole plate. The risotto and steak is good. Not my fave but filled with flavor. It’s a bit more heavy on the stomach with the humid Florida weather. The grilled mahi mahi with mushroom sauce and spinach mashed potatoes is my absolute favorite. Fish was cooked perfectly. The mushroom sauce is too good. The ravioli with the squash is good. It is a sweeter palate than savory but still delicious. The waitstaff are super nice and pay attention. The venue is huge and clean. The Peruvian beer tasted great with the corn nuts they serve.
Really great Peruvian food. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. The mahi ceviche tacos are outstanding. My favorite dish was the rice with seafood. I'd go back to have that dish alone. The service is great. The room is bright and airy. The restaurants is a block away from the murals which makes for a nice walk after the meal.
Had my birthday dinner here. I'm peruvian, so the food was a 3/5. It's hard to come by good peruvian places here that do it RIGHT. However, it didn't taste bad it just wasn't what I was looking for. I'm sure others who aren't familiar with Peruvian food would find it very yummy. That being said, I will say that they have the best maracuya and chicha drink I've had here in Miami. The service was great, The atmosphere was nice. I just always hate restaurants that leave their door open because Miami weather brings flies and that's always annoying. Overall, we had a good time. The food was good and the service was great.
Friends spoke highly of this place, so we decided to come for dinner together. We ordered 1 pulpo appetizer, 2 ceviches, 1 rice dish, 1 grilled mahi mahi, and 4 smoky sunset (cocktails). The grilled mahi mahi ended up being the highlight of the meal. The ceviches and pulpo were decent, but the flavor profiles felt pretty similar. Total for four people came to $280.
If you’re looking to eat delicious Peruvian food with a nice ambience and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, then come dine at Manta Wynwood! We came upon this place after doing the Bear Drips down the road and we were not disappointed. Food/drinks: The drinks were GREAT as they know how to make a tasty pisco sour. The limo saltado and other food was cooked perfectly and have such enriching flavors. I was happy with everything we ordered and it came out in a timely fashion. Atmosphere: This place has plenty of indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and were not disappointed. Price: The prices here are fairly normal for the prices of restaurants in this location in Wynwood. We definitely got our moneys worth as the quality of the food was up to par. They also have a happy hour so you can catch the deals. Parking: There is street parking available in the area you can pay for.
The food was delicious and well seasoned. The service was odd, perhaps it was our timing but the waitstaff was all having dinner leaving the table runners fumbling. The atmosphere is interesting, nothing truly matches. You come here for the food, this place is always busy and the community loves it. We give them a 4/5 for their delicious authentic flavors and great bar selection.
We’re from out of town and recently was invited to eat at Manta. It was a good experience. We were a party of 6 and our server was attentive throughout the dining experience. Not familiar with some of the food, the menu was a bit of a challenge for me. That said, the menu has great photos of the meals they served, which is a big help, and our server was helpful in describing the food and accompaniments. They also serve some exotic drinks, if you’re into different cocktails. My friends and I enjoyed the restaurant. It’s pretty spacious and has two sections. Luckily we went on a day and time that it wasn’t completely full. The photos tell the story.
The menu is cool and offers a lot of healthy options, which I appreciated. The place has a great vibe, and I’m excited to return. While the service was generally good, I think there’s room for improvement—tables could use a bit more attention, like double-checking if customers want another round of drinks and confirming orders to avoid any mix-ups. I’ll definitely give this place another shot. Supporting local businesses with love!
The food here was absolutely delicious—each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The standout for me was how fresh and vibrant everything tasted, making it clear the ingredients were top-notch. However, the service felt rushed, which was strange given the restaurant wasn’t at full capacity. It would have been nice to savor the experience a little more without feeling hurried. That said, the quality of the food definitely makes this place worth a visit!
I had a mixed experience at this restaurant, but there were definitely some standout highlights. To start, the tuna tartare was absolutely amazing--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ceviche was also very good, with a nice balance of citrus and spice that really brought out the freshness of the seafood. The service was immaculate. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. That level of hospitality really elevated the overall experience. Now, while the appetizers were excellent, the entrées unfortunately didn't live up to the same standard. The pork belly, which I was really looking forward to, was very bland and lacked the rich, savory depth you'd expect from that cut of meat. The branzino also fell flat--it was nicely cooked but didn't have much flavor, and felt underseasoned overall. One unexpected delight was the mint lemonade--it was honestly the best I've ever had. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and incredibly satisfying. In summary, if you're stopping in for appetizers like the tuna tartare or ceviche, you're in for a treat. But if you're looking for bold, flavorful entrées, this might not be the place. That said, the service and certain standout items still make it worth a visit depending on what you're in the mood for
Very overpriced. Paid $56 for my plate and it was just average, I honestly didn’t like it. The crispy rice wasn’t even crispy, it was soggy. My husband’s dish was okay at best, and the food overall was slow to arrive. The cocktails were good, but with a $217 bill it definitely didn’t feel worth it. Won’t be coming back.
I ordered an Alfredo pasta with beef medallions. Unfortunately the meat was very poor quality extremely tough and rubbery, almost like chewing gum and impossible to properly chew. I notified the staff and they kindly replaced the dish which I appreciated. However, the quality of the meat was very disappointing. I ended up leaving it untouched because it was simply not edible.
This rating was based off the two appetizers that I had for dinner and wow they were super disappointing. The tuna was sort of average. The octopus itself was quite tough and honestly didn’t seem like it was prepared to order and I should have sent it back. The scallop dish really had no flavor. Very one-dimensional cheese flavor. I pulled back the cheese and tasted the pieces of scallop underneath and it barely had scallop flavor or texture. Overall, the two dishes were quite expensive. Worked out to over $60 all in. I simply didn’t have the energy to deal with it at the time. The meal was unacceptable and not at the caliber of appetizers in this price range.
We ordered grilled langoustines, but we were served shrimp instead. We spoke with the staff and they kindly gave us a discount, which we appreciate. However, they should update the menu and offer what they actually serve to avoid confusion for customers.
Their menu needs to do some soul searching. It's practically a book (it even has an index). No need for that many food choices when the only thing they do right is ceviche. DO NOT ORDER THE PAELLA: it will ruin your day. It's just soggy rice bathed on Chef Boyardee sauce with some sad slices of steak and chicken that don't seem freshly grilled... 60 dollars for such a culinary insult would be better spend on cocktails, which is the only thing that saves the place. The decor is nice but the light is so bright it makes you feel you're at Pollo Tropical (except that rice at Pollo Tropical is better).
Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend… it’s really more of a catchy place for tourists. Luckily we only ordered a couple things. The scallops were really just not seasoned or cooked well and was hidden under all the cheese. The tiradito aceichado was just really underwhelming for the price. We also felt a bit taken advantage of by our server who charged for bottled water when we asked for still. We weren’t sure if this was the standard but we were also charged 20% tip for a table of 2. Given the service was what it was we just felt taken for a ride - I wish we got to speak to a manger but we really just wanted to go because we felt so bad about it all. In case any vegetarians or vegans are wondering - this is not a good fit as they are not accommodating. I asked for a side of tostones with avocado just to have something to eat with my party and was charged nearly $20 😳
