Oyster was so good! The food was very delicious and the portions were big. The service was excellent as well. The only thing is that the dishes feel a bit overpriced — it came out to about $100–120 per person. Overall, still a great experience
Claudia was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. She checked on us at the perfect times, had great recommendations, and made us feel really welcome. Service like this makes a big difference — thank you, Claudia!
An absolute gem of an Italian restaurant! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. The food was incredible, authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and every dish cooked to perfection. The wine selection was delicious, pairing beautifully with each dish. On top of that, the service was exceptional attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Located in such a perfect and lively area, it’s the kind of place you can’t wait to return to.
Pablo was incredible! Great food, really enjoyed the French toast and the avo burrata toast and açai bowl - service was perfect!! This is our 3rd time back this trip and will definitely come back again!!
As A Pasta Lover 🍝. This Was My First Time At This Restaurant. I Got The Chicken Parm, Lasagna, & Caesar Salad. The Chicken Parm Was Amazing. You Definitely Can Tell The Sauce Is Made From Scratch. The Lasagna Was Soooo Delicious. Everything About This Place Is Chef’s Kiss. The Employees Are Very Nice & Helpful. Sitting Outside Next To The Sidewalk & Palm Trees While Eating Was Also An Amazing Vibe. I Definitely Recommend This Place. I
Enrique was pleasant and helpful. Prompt and accommodating. Delicious food. We had the steak and eggs as well as the dulce de leche French toast. We each thoroughly enjoyed out meals! We’ll be back for sure!
Excellent experience, our server Samuel was very attentive, friendly and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His service really made the experience even better
I frequent here whenever I’m in the Miami Beach area and it never disappoints. Food is top tier, service is amazing. It’s become my standard brunch and lunch spot in the area. My waiter this last time I visited, Samuel, was very personable and attentive.
Great meal and great service from Dennis! It was quite windy but the heaters were out on and that took out the chill ! Dennis was very friendly and professional. Would recommend.
Wonderful place, extremely delicious food! Enrique was super nice and friendly. He is a professional waiter.
This place is the Italy in Miami! This spot feels just like the Italian Riviera. We ordered the seafood tower, and it was perfect with generous portions of oysters, shrimp, lobster, and crudo. Exactly what we were craving.
Great spot for lunch by the beach! Enrique was an excellent and attentive server! We got the poke, burger, and Cuban sandwich - all delicious.
Camilo was amazing. The food was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back. Maybe tomorrow haha.
My server was amazing! The setting fantastic and the food and wine devine! 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing brunch here! Claudia was in charge of the table and had great recommendations. Would return for sure
This restaurant was located in our hotel. The dinner was delicious, and the staff was friendly. The risotto was excellent, and the fish was fresh. The place is quiet and different from many other establishments along the same street, making it a great choice for a relaxing dinner.
Very good bruschetta and shrimp scampi here. Enrique provided excellent service! Enjoyed our lunch in picturesque Miami Beach.
I tried their Oysters, Salmon Tartare, and an Italian Mule cocktail. The oysters were absolutely phenomenal—super fresh, silky smooth, and had a light, fragrant taste that was just perfect. I highly recommend them! The Salmon Tartare was a bit salty for my taste but still very good overall. As for the Italian Mule, it was incredible! The blend of flavors, with a slightly bitter yet refreshing taste, made it one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend trying it. Overall, a great dining experience!
Giuli was very attentive with us the whole time, and the food was great! I do really recommend this place.
Best food and drink on Ocean Drive, with Denis and his team taking care of our every need. An awesome night with excellent food and an incredible environment! Thank you!
Delish food on a beautiful, breezy patio with excellent people watching. Pablo was a fantastic server!
This is a newly opened restaurant in the old Hotel Victor on Oceanside Dr in South Beach Miami. It was a spontaneous pick for our family as we strolled from the south gazing the different hotel menu options along the strip. We were a family with teenagers, so the loud overly sexualized desperate for customer restaurants were not interesting for us and we were not dressed for the jazzy white table cloth options either. The Mercato had gentle music playing and comfortable outdoor casual seating available which was appealing to us. We could hear each other speak, able to people watch and was family suitable. To our surprise the service and menu presentation was outstanding and professional. Raúl was our server. He is bilingual (English & Spanish) and knew how to explain a more sophisticated menu to teens. He gave them a 5-star grandiose experience finishing with table side assembly of the tiramisu! When he put that fancy cheesecake in front of our wide-eyed teenage boy, Raúl knew to identify all the components and explain the flavors. Our son then slowed down and learned what the palate the chef was combining for him. We were so happy to find a place where the staff made us feel like welcome visitors and wanted to share their special dining experience rather than approach us like vultures picking tourist's wallets. This restaurant has taken time to intentionally combine flavors of high quality and Raúl made sure to identify to our the teens the nuances of the chef's choices. This made the experience much fun as Miami tourists visiting for the first time. Great service, great menu....we ate at the Mercator twice too. Our teens said this was the best service they have ever had in a restaurant. Giving your kids this opportunity to learn teaches them about fine dining and quality hospitality which was worth the price in addition to leaving with satisfied bellies. Two managers even stopped by to chat with us, probably curious because we were having such happy family conversations and enjoying Raúl's flare teaching and serving. We had memorable experiences and would recommend you giving this new competition on the strip a try too.
Excellent service and atmosphere! The food and drinks were just as good. Raul suggested the caprese with prosciutto; the prosciutto added texture and had such a great flavor. Excellent choice! Main dish was Charred Tuna and a perfectly fired thin crust pizza. The passion fruit martini was light and refreshing. The music was the perfect level and added a nice vibe to a great evening. Highly recommend!
The food was divine they have really good portions and our server Manuel was the best he was really attentive.
Our experience at Cafe Americano was brilliant…the atmosphere, music, etc was great; the food was delicious and our server Alejandro was the best
Denys was excellent Amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!
Denis helped us out today and his service was amazing! Very attentive and gave us time to enjoy our drinks and meal. Highly recommend!
Everything was awsome, the food it was delicius and the service of Camila C was the best. She was present in every detail. I recommend 100%
I recently had dinner at this restaurant and it was a wonderful Italian dining experience. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with a mix of rustic charm and modern touches that made it perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, including a wine pairing that complemented the food beautifully. As for the dishes, the highlight for me was the cacio e pepe fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The pizza was also excellent: thin, crisp crust with high-quality toppings that didn’t overpower each other. To finish, we shared a classic tiramisù that was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. Best ever
Such a nice atmosphere and lots of menu choices. The food was great and Samuel was a wonderful server!!
Food was delicious, specially the avocado burrata toast! Pablo provided an excellent service all the time! Will definitely come back next time in Miami
This restaurant was a experience of flavors! Thanks to Raùl our server to give us great advice ! You need to try the bruschetta with prosciutto and burrata ! They give us little bottle of hot sauce with the oysters ! I’m a big fan ! They also give us adress for the rest of our trip ! Really great service ! Thanks Raùl !
The food was delicious. Highly recommend the barbacoa… Samuel was an excellent server, very hospitable and friendly!!!
Great brunch. Enrique our waitstaff was accommodating of our special egg request. Located at a beautiful Art Deco hotel, the Victor, on Collins Ave.
100% service from Pablo, such a nice guy. Very nice experience visiting restaurant thanks to Pablo, food and drinks were great.
SEA THE DIFFERENCE: A final night in Miami and a last chance for a local restaurant to make a positive, lasting impression; I walked up to Mercato Di Mare and crossed my fingers. It was early evening as the sun began to set and I was greeted by Santiago, my server and "ottima guida" (excellent guide) to the meal that was about to take place. His pleasant and professional table-side manner was only matched by his enthusiasm and his knowledge of the menu. I started with the calamari. Fearing a repeat performance as I had with another restaurant the night before, an overcooked and under flavored pile of squid, my fears were unfounded as a delicately fried and flavorful plate arrived. Tender and fresh, and an excellent mix of rings and crowns, paired with an amazing aioli sauce, the dish was delicious and delightful! Then on to the main course. The seafood risotto. Creamy, with just the right bit of bite to the sauce, the portions were plentiful and fresh, without any fishiness or off-putting flavors. I had to pace myself, caught between the urge to shovel all the greatness into my mouth at once and savor every bite... I chose the latter. But it was hard. And once I finished, another choice had to be made. Dessert or no dessert. The reason for my reticence was because I didn't want to take the chance of having the meal ruined at the last minute by a less than magnificent final course. However, I took the plunge. I ordered the cheesecake. And what arrived was legendary. Two large slices of freshly made, creamy cuts accompanied with French Crème Chantilly, grapes, and placed within several pieces of pine nut crust. Amazing. As I finished I sat there, taking it all in and wishing I had another few nights in Miami to visit Mercato Di Mare again and again. So take my advice, come soon and come often and "sea" for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
great very friendly and attentive service from Camilo - nice idea to have the choice of two different menues in one place
Food was amazing and our server Pablo was quick and helpful. Great outdoor atmosphere on Ocean Dr
Panko was our server. He was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend. Food was delicious.
Delicious food. Great service, Camila C was very attentive. Had a great time in this restaurant!
Camila C. is a really friendly person! She did great and also the view is very nice.
Dennis the server was super nice and accommodating! Food was super good (finished everything) Delivered me and my friends drinks efficiently and in a timely manner. Definitely recommend!
This Italian restaurant in Miami Beach is a true gem. The pasta tastes homemade, the pizza is perfectly wood-fired, and the atmosphere feels like dining in Italy. I’ve come back several times because the flavors are authentic, the service is friendly, and the quality is consistent. If you’re looking for the best Italian food in Miami Beach, this is the place to go!
Giuli was very good and professional especially as it was her first day. The food was excellent and a lovely venue.
So Juan set the tone , he immediately greeted us, and everyone all of the servers were so kind and sweet. Everything was amazing, service, food, ambiance. Everyone was so nice. Juan was overly nice and kind, made us feel special, went above and beyond to make a personal connection. Clean, immaculate vibes , good music, flavors were excellent, fresh off the grill. Can't wait to come back!
Great spot along Ocean St in Miami Beach. Enrique was a great server and we loved his hair! Enjoyed the food as well.
Jennifer has been amazing all through out our dining experience. Would recommend the food as well! Very fresh and yummy!
Wonderful lunch with the girls today! Waited Dennis was so polite and friendly with recos for drinks and food. Will definitely be back soon. Great atmosphere and people watching on the sidewalk.
I had such a wonderful experience here, thanks to our server Denis. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He made sure our reservation went smoothly and guided us through the menu with great recommendations that turned out to be spot on. He checked in at the right times without ever making us feel rushed, and making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. His service added such a personal touch to the whole dining experience, and it really made the night special. Thank you, Dennis, for going above and beyond, you made our visit truly memorable!
We got an espresso martini, a steak burger, and quesabirria tacos and it was all great. The service was fantastic as well, Pablo was one of the best waiters I've ever had, he made the experience!
Came because it was one of the highest rated restaurants in South Beach. The only famous first batch of calamari was overcooked. Chef Milton quickly corrected it making sure the 2nd order was fantastic. Even looking to us for approval. Javier was top tier in our service, making sure we were comfortable, satisfied and happy with our entire meal. As someone who travels and eats all over the country, you have to take my word for this restaurant, and come taste for yourself. This will be marked in my book as a favorite place to bring people to show them a fantastic meal in South Beach
Maria is the greatest person ever. She took care of me Everytime I came. I’m a regular b/c the staff is family oriented. Ask for MARIA from Uruguay
The surf and turf was unforgettable. I'd like to know where they got the masseuse that massaged the cow they served me. The medium rare steak was sublime and melted in my mouth. The lobster had a perfect texture and was set off by the clarified butter. Surf and turf is a classic, but for some reason, the most memorable item on the plate were the fried potato cake things. No clue how it was prepared, but they stick out in my mind even more than the perfectly cooked steak. Jose served us splendidly.
Mercato Di Mare. A Must-Try Miami Gem. Mercato Di Mare is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. With incredible outdoor views, a lively ambiance, and exceptional service, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion. The food was outstanding. From ribeye and lobster to shrimp, pasta, snapper, and branzino, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were just as impressive, complementing the meal beautifully. What truly set the night apart was the magician who stopped by our table, leaving us amazed and adding a fun, unexpected twist to the evening. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines great food, great service, and a touch of magic, Mercato Di Mare won’t disappoint.
Stopped in for breakfast and it was such a nice experience. Our waiter Samuel was very attentive and friendly. We’ll be back again!
The seafood tower was the highlight of our visit fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The oysters, shrimp, lobster, and crab were perfectly chilled and high quality. Excellent service and a great atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended for seafood lovers
Samuel was kind and professional, the vibe was great with beautiful plants and palm trees throughout the patio. The avocado toast with poached egg and salmon was perfect!
Denis was a great server!! Very friendly, explained the menu and shared recommendations! Such a cute spot on the water. Chill vibes. Would highly recommend!
Really lovely place at Miami Beach. Great for brunch and cocktails. Our server Claudia was really attentive and friendly!
Nice place, and Rosmery was great. She checked on us and helped us with our order. She's so kind and professional. Recommend it.
Pablo was absolutely great!!! He took care of my guest and I with so much courtesy and was so polite!!! Will definitely be coming back when I’m in town⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had the best brunch ever with Pablo. So attentive and available for any special request that you needed to make the perfect beach side brunch.
Claudia was our server at Casa Americana. From the start, she greeted us with a friendly smile and was super attentive throughout. Happy to come across people like her . :)
The food was absolutely amazing here! Samuel was our server and he was very helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely come back here again
I normally dont place reviews in the area because of lack of good restaurants but I needed to make sure I did because not only the pasta was delicious the service was impeccable. Camilla C was our server and she was friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything and also her favorite dishes. The grilled octopus was fresh and tasty, oysters are a must try and the lobster linguine. Definitely will be back, thank you Camilla your service was amazing.
Great experience at Mercato Di Mare. Server Pablo provided excellent service—he quickly brought us water and our food, and stayed on top of refilling our coffee throughout the meal. Very attentive and friendly. Thank you! We will definitely come again.
Our waiter, Alejandro, was awesome!!! The service was 10/10 & he had very good recommendations. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was amazing. I will definitely be back!
Great food! Our server, Camilo was wonderful! We were there with friends that we. Haven't seen in a while and the music was a little loud which hindered our conversation just a little. But all in all it was a great experience!
Amazing experience in this restaurant! The food was delicious, very good ambience and our server Camila C. did a great job, super nice and attentive. We definitely want to comeback!
Samuel was AMAZING! We were in a rush and he was able to get us our drinks fast so we can make our show! Thank you a million. You were the best
We were waited on my Pablo, & he was the best server we’ve had all week at many restaurants. He was extremely happy, kind, conversational, & helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant- and ask for Pablo!
We had Giuli as our server today for breakfast. She was superb! She mentioned it was her first day and you wouldn’t have even known. She was attentive and did a great job. We love this place for breakfast…every time we are in town we go there. We have also had Pablo as our server before and he always has a smile and is great asset to your restaurant. We also had Camila C as our server for dinner one night and she was attentive and an awesome server. We enjoy eating here…great food and great service!
Pablo was hands down one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming. He made great recommendations and made the whole table feel taken care of the entire night. Service like this makes a restaurant memorable. If you’re lucky enough to have Pablo as your waiter, you’re in good hands.
We sat outside even though the temperature was unusually cold, and our waiter was so gracious in lighting our heater which made our experience even more unique. Our waiter was very accommodating and his service impeccable - a great dining experience! And the food was exactly as he explained to us - perfect recommendations. Do yourself a favor and visit Enrique! 🩷
Camila C. at Mercato Di Mare on Ocean Drive was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, her energy, professionalism, and genuine friendliness stood out right away. She made us feel incredibly welcome and took care of every detail with a big smile and great attitude. Camila went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re visiting Mercato Di Mare, do yourself a favor and ask for Camila C
El camarero Camilo muy profesional!! Comida exquisita!
Food is honestly a 10 on 10 & their portions are good if you are hungry, strongly recommend their pasta. The Atmosphere is beautiful and eating outside is a vibe of its own. The owner is super polite, nice and welcoming along with caring if everything is going good and I appreciate that. Unfortunately the 3 star for the service is more for the fact we asked for regular water and we got charged 9$, everyone was served bread but us and when we asked for it.. we were told 10 minutes.. 30 minutes later we got the bill, they cleaned up everything and before leaving they brought it to us because I mentioned it.. besides that honestly amazing restaurant to try and experience.
Food was very nice, our server Camilo was great, the Mojitos were not the best (sorry but Havana 1957 beats you on that score guys). However we appreciated that the portions were “normal”. Being from Europe we don’t appreciate huge American standard portions which don’t leave room for anything else
The food was good. Ofc the past was al dente which I love sometimes but hate other times. Camila was a great service always coming to refresh our drinks and make sure that our food was okay. She was extremely speedy with any changes we wanted to make or problem that we had with out meals
I enjoyed the clam pasta a lot because it was flavorful and had enough sauce in it. The oysters were fresh as well. I like that they had fans outside to keep you cool. What I didn’t like is that Humberto lied to us and said that the service charge isn’t a tip. He is greedy and dishonest. He must’ve thought we were naive and I didn’t like that he even mentioned that to us. He was pleasant throughout our experience until the end.
I can't help but feel like we were swindled after deciding to stop and eat here for dinner on a Thursday night... We noticed someone eating a lobster and steak dinner for 2 and we were told it was a "special" (It was called the "Mare e Manti"). We thought that meant a "special deal", so we chose to stay, but it was far from a special deal...I do understand that it was our fault for not asking about prices up front, but at the end of the day we did not expect the meal to cost THAT much. I definitely felt over charged. Humberto upsold us on still water, okay that's fine. But when he upsold us on Don Julio 1942 margaritas we did not know the drink was going to cost $45 each. I did not feel any type of buzz. I would've never agreed if I knew and would've stuck with the Jose Cuervo margarita. On to the food...when it came out of course it looked nice aesthetically (see pictures). Too bad it was a small lobster with mushy watery meat for the tail, no meat in my deformed claw and watery mush with little to no meat out of the other more normal looking claw. The taste was watered down and underwhelming, the dab of pesto sauce helped with that a little, I guess. My man doesn't eat seafood that much so he kept asking me if his lobster meat was undercooked? That's how mushy it was. I felt bad. It looked as if the lobster was frozen and thawed and not fresh lobster out of a tank. We proceeded to eat because we didn't want to be a problem or a bother. The portion of spaghetti rolled in a Parmesan cheese block tasted good but was only portioned enough for one person. That also disappointed us, because it was supposed to be a meal shared for 2. Why did we each literally get one bite of pasta and it was done?? We filled up on bread cuz our side dish was tapas sized lol smh. We were told shrimp came with the meal but it was an add-on charge on the receipt as if it wasn't already included, but the shrimp was good nonetheless. The bone-in ribeye was good, but was more medium well than medium like I asked. The Mare e Manti came to a total cost of $150. Now, that might be "cheap" or "nothing" for some people but for us it was a total shock for what we ate. We could've gotten a 34oz tomahawk steak dinner and more, or something similar at an upscale restaurant elsewhere for that price! The shock was real. Plus the 20% gratuity added without notice was the icing on the cake! Plus, I tipped additionally on top of that because the staff was nice, we loved Humberto's energy he's a nice guy and the staff were very apologetic and accommodating, so I'll give them that by adding another star. I had to share this review because it had been bothering me, and I just had to vent. All in all I think I would recommend this restaurant, but if you are not wealthy or rich I recommend asking for prices upfront, don't be ashamed, we all work hard for our money.
Whatever the sauces are here.. they need to be replaced. The steak sauce was brown and it tasted brown besides that tasteless. Even the ketchup here is full of corn syrup. The calamari was not bad but a very skimpy portion even for Ocean Drive. Fries with truffle- who cares if the fries themselves are so so. The problem here is like all of Ocean Drive it’s for non repeat customers and it’s why they force a 20 percent tip. But the worst thing was the rude treatment by the restroom attendant…as a disabled person she made me walk back to get the restroom code but why didn’t the restaurant tell me the code in the first place when I asked that I needed to wash my hands. The waiter was nice but he could not give me a paper copy of my signed bill. I work for a major mass communication company… publishing, tv etc. I have to follow corporate procedures. My mission is to find places that tourists can find a good meal with good service at a good price. I have had so many mediocre meals from the 2 restaurants at Setai to Red Cat in South Beach but I am not giving up.
My partner and I came here for the Miami Spice menu and were excited to try it. We had two cocktails, split the bruschetta and calamari, both got the chicken parm, and ended with cheesecake. The portions were huge, which was nice, but the quality just wasn’t there. Apps were okay, but the chicken parm was overcooked and kind of dry. Dessert was fine but nothing memorable. The total came out to about $165 for two people, which honestly felt like a lot for what we got. I’m from New York, so I’m used to high prices — but up there, at least the food is usually great. Here, it felt like we paid a premium for portion size, not quality. Not the worst meal ever, but definitely didn’t feel like a good value. Probably wouldn’t go back.
I’m sorry but the food was not good at all, the spaghetti with claws were probably gone bad, the sea-bass didn’t have a taste and my lenticchie were okay compared to the rest. The only thing good was the dessert that they kindly offered after the pasta with claws got returned back to the kitchen but other than that, i wouldn’t recommend at all. I don’t know how this restaurant could be the one with the most stars in ocean drive 👎🏽
We were terribly disappointed! For $270 we got a bottle of water, a coffee, a bowl of of very dry pasta, dull fries, and an entire seafood platter that was served cold. The lobster had less meat than a Mc Donald filet of fish. Seriously, the lobster was empty! Even the claws had only a teaspoon of meat. Our service was clipped, rude, and inattentive. We were sat in the edge of the balcony even though rain was clearly falling on us, when we asked to move someplace warmer…. They moved us in 5 feet instead of offering the sheltered space that was completely open to the side. We had to ask for the bill after being finished for 10 minutes and then waited another 10 minutes to get it. There were only four tables of people, so no excuse. Honestly, there is not a single compliment I can give to this restaurant. Wait, the shrimp was decent. This is the first negative review I have ever left for a business.
We were drawn in by the restaurant’s Italian name, expecting authentic cucina and a taste of Italy. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we hoped for. The lobster was a major letdown—there was barely any meat, The seafood soup was full of potato and just a few mussels and claims. Pasta with claims was also a miss. Given the quality, the prices felt unjustified. After we spoke up they didn’t charge us for the lobster and the pasta, but still It’s disappointing when a restaurant leans on an Italian identity but doesn’t deliver on the cuisine. We left feeling let down. Wouldn’t return.
