12/27/25 Pamplemousse on The Bay When we visited for the first time, we had an amazing “Sunset Hour.” We went for drinks and appetizers and of course, the Sunset and spectacular views of Miami. Our second time around was disappointing, not because of the views or our waitress, Rekkas, but of the confusion around the food. Before we visit a restaurant, we like to see the menu online to have an idea of what we would like to eat. When we got to the restaurant, we were informed that it was under new management and that they had a new menu. No problem, we inquired about the day’s special and the waitress sent one of the owners. He went over the menu and we decided on the Pan Seated Scallops, Special of the day. It was only three scallops on a butter sauce. When we asked, they told us that they got confused and that the plate was an appetizer. We also had “The Lemon Spaghetti with Caviar”. This plate is listed as $19.00 on the menu and if you add Caviar it says $29.00. They charged was $48.00 for the spaghetti. I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the owners/managers and he was kind enough to refund some of the charges because of the confusion. Despite what happened, we had a great time and we are recommending Pamplemouse on the Bay. “Eat deliciously”
Pamplemousse on the Bay offers a beautiful venue for any occasion, with stunning sunset views and a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the Miami skyline. The food is excellent, the atmosphere cozy and inviting, and the service truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
An unforgettable evening at Pamplemousse on the Bay. Amazing food, great drinks, and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Sitting by the bay on the uncredible terrace and watching the sunset was simply magical. One of those places that stays with you I’d come back without thinking twice.
I recently came by for a corporate event dinner and had an amazing time. The service was phenomenal, the food was out of this world, and the cocktails were simply outstanding. The owner Francois was extremely nice and friendly, as well as Caesar and Alejandro the bartenders. The views from the back are also to die for during the sunset! Highly recommend any of the cocktails, the truffle wagyu carpaccio, yellowtail, the steak, and fries. Everyone at the event loved their food and experience as well. Will definitely be back to explore the menu some more and enjoy the sunset once again!
I came in expecting more of the same: pricey, bland food like many other trendy spots in Miami. But honestly, everything was surprisingly good. The flavors weren’t mind-blowing, but the dishes were tasty and well prepared. The service was excellent. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who helped us; she was from Morocco and truly made us feel welcome. The view is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for catching the sunset. Great ambiance overall.
My husband and I dined here for the first time last night and had a fabulous time!! The views and ambiance were spectacular, the food scrumptious and the people working there were so friendly and accommodating. I want to say a special thank you to our server, Maeva, who was amazing. She was so warm and friendly and gave suggestions regarding the menu. She wanted to make sure we were as content as possible. It is because of her that our dining experience was even more special. We look forward to returning to this beautiful restaurant.
Excellent customer service and amazing water views! This is a beautiful place to dine. The food was delicious! Lots of fresh healthy options. I thoroughly enjoyed the burrata appetizer. The pistachios gave it a nice touch. The ribeye for the main entree was cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. The host and our waitress were outstanding! So pleasant and helpful. We appreciate the great service. I do recommend reservations.
Wonderful lunch at this wonderful restaurant on the bay. The place is gorgeous right on the water which is very rare to find in Miami Beach, it is so relaxing and finally a place without loud music ! The food is really great, the service was good, Alan was really lovely. I have been here twice now, it is definitely one of my favorites ❤️ And by the way Wednesday thru Saturday they have an amazing lunch deal $28 for either appetizer and entree or entree and dessert. I just love it ❤️ . . . #naddiasfavorites #naddias_favorites #miamibeachrestaurant #frenchrestaurant #frenchfood #miamibeach #foodie #foodies
Just wow… Definitely a Miami gem. From the moment you step through the door, you can already feel a great atmosphere with its warmth and sophistication. An unforgettable dining experience with that view! I can honestly say that each dish is a masterpiece. The food is divine, and the prices are surprisingly good considering the quality overall. Last but not least, we were so well served! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, for sure this made the experience got even better! A must-visit spot that I can't wait to return to!
Had my wedding dinner here!!! Most special day! Gorgeous view and amazing food! Thank you to the manager and staff that made our day PERFECT!
Coming here for happy hour & water views is a must! I went here with a friend for a catch up dinner and we had the best time! It wasn’t too busy & we sat outside to really enjoy the good views. Their drink options are excellent! We were impressed with the happy hour food & drink menu so a lot of the food we ordered came from that menu. Have only been once but will need to come back, I can’t get enough of this place! The place has valet parking that’s reasonably priced too for Miami Beach
This is the best spot in town to watch the sunset! Vanessa was absolutely amazing, she was so attentive and ensured we had the best experience. The happy hour is amazing, and highly recommend the hummus - the lemon zest brings it to the next level.
Wonderful unique, eclectic menu. Exotic beverage presentation. Great location, views, ambiance, vibe.
Yassine, our waiter was fantastic! My spouse and I enjoyed such a wonderful evening. The bay view, ambiance, food menu selection, and cocktails were amazing. Loved the hummus, duck confit, margarita cocktail. We'll be back.
Incredible place on the bay, the food is really good and the service as well. Shut out to Cesar the bartender who is always making the best drinks! We are coming almost everyday ! Maeva was our server she is really attentive to our need and kind.
Cesar and Alex are an exceptional bartending duo! They consistently deliver top-notch service with professionalism and warmth. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a fantastic experience. Their expertise and attentiveness make every visit a pleasure.
Amazing atmosphere… the entire staff is catering and the Sunday funday is exceptional, did I mention the views?! We come back all the time and appreciate Vanessa‘s attention to our family. A diamond in the rough if I have to say so. And boat slips are no charge! Are we sure we are in Miami? Love it 😍
Amazing hidden gem in Miami Beach, from the hostess guiding us to our table to the service, Dani went above and beyond, she’s is the best! Quality food and presentation 👌🏻 Definitely coming back! And to top it off best view on the bay 🌅
Loved how our waitress and the other service staff were so beautiful and so chill. Their patience and presence was contagious, making us enjoy the incredible sunset on the bay. We went Sunday evening (not a busy time at all) and even though disappointed by the all day Sunday Brunch menu instead of their full menu since i came for the chilean sea bass, the options did NOT disappoint! It was delicious, every single dish we tried we cleaned the plate. The sunset was remarkable. The waitress was the sweetest and the realest. I wish I remembered her name but she's Moroccan. Anyway, a must try!
I've come to Pamplemousse several times now and love it every time. Cesar and Alejandro are so wonderful and make you feel like family. The views are stunning, be sure to enjoy a sunset there! I've also come to their outdoor monthly Wednesday salsa social and it's phenomenal. So nice to have an outdoor salsa spot on South Beach finally! Great people, great views, great drinks, great vibes, and make sure to order those delicious truffle fries! Overall pure joy!
My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pamplemousse on the Bay, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the vibe, food, ambiance, and customer service were absolutely top notch. We felt warmly welcomed by everyone, especially by amazing individuals like Benoît, Alexandre, and others, who treated us like family and made the day even more special. The dishes were exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — and the setting by the bay added the perfect touch of relaxation and elegance. Pamplemousse on the Bay has officially become our new favorite place to dine in Miami Beach. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories here!
Great dinner! The location is beautiful, especially if you choose outdoor seating. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Gerber was fantastic and very attentive. Together with Ambroise, they prepared a lovely surprise at the table for my son’s graduation. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Food was exceptional and Worth your time for sure! Service exceptional and Arthur made the experience over the top - worth the trip food and ambience worth every penny!
This is an awsome restaurant with THE view. The food is delicious and drinks are great. Maeva is the most incredible person me and my wife ever met. We were also waited on by Alan who did great! Very thankful for everyone here, we will be back very often!
We decided to My friend’s birthday and we were actually surprised. The place is beautiful. He has a beautiful view with the service was outstanding. The food was delicious and the other atmosphere was great as a matter of fact they had a group of people dancing salsa. It was very interesting and we really had a great time. Maeva, Was our waitress and she really made the night amazing she really took care of us and help us even gave us some thieves where to go after dinner thank you so much. It was beautiful.
Can highly recommend! Beautiful restaurant! Cesar and Alejandro are amazing. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and the temperature was just perfect! I have not had this for a long time! Food is excellent! Good price value! Will come back any time!
An excellent experience from start to finish. César and Ale’s service was outstanding/friendly, attentive to every detail, and always with a smile. It’s rare to find a team that is both professional and makes you feel at home. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a place I’ll return to and highly recommend. Thank you, Francois, César and Ale, for making the visit so special!!!!
Amazing lunch experience! Delicious food, a splendid bay view, and a great 'relaxed-chic' vibe—all at a very reasonable price. We loved it so much we already booked a table for New Year's Eve dinner tonight. Can't wait to be back! #waterfront #bayview #miamibeach #sunsetonthebay #fyp
I enjoyed some light fare this afternoon with Alex and Cesar. They provided exceptional service. We had the Burrata which had a good flavor and a great presentation. This is my second time dining here and both times have been nice experiences.
A truly wonderful experience! The ambiance is beautiful, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, with Cesar and Alex going above and beyond as bartenders—they were exceptionally kind and attentive. The drinks were delicious, and the location right on the bay made it even more special to see the sunset. A place I’ll return to again and again!
Restaurant sends a vibrant vibe with both dine in and al fresco seatings available. It overlooks the docks and I imagine unforgettable sunset moments if you go at the right time. Food was utterly delightful. I had the seafood pasta which blew my mind away. We practically ordered the whole of the dessert menu to share amongst us. Just couldn't identify which I loved most. To name one would be a terrible injustice to the others. Service was just superb. Totally an unforgettable dinner and dining experience.
Alan was an exceptional waiter, who provided excellent service and detailed explanation of the menu choices. The entree of duck confit was perfectly prepared and delicious! Each of the sides were well paired with the entrees. Viewing the Miami skyline, while dining, added to the total ambiance. This was a very memorable dining experience, and Pamplemoose is one of the best restaurants in Miami!! Bon Appetit!
My new favorite spot. I love that it’s very low key and the sunset is amazing. I’m a local here, so it’s nice to experience a sense of hospitality and warmth without feeling like a number. We were warmly greeted by Robin and it definitely sets the tone for our experience. Definitely will frequent this place often.
Pamplemousse on the Beach offers an incredible dining experience with stunning views of the sunset over Miami Bay, framed by the city's skyscrapers. The ambiance is relaxed yet elegant, perfect for any occasion. The staff is attentive and welcoming, and the food is spectacular, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This place is a gem and a must-visit for anyone in the area. Highly recommended!
Dining at Pampelmouse was an absolute delight! The lychee martini was the perfect start to an incredible meal. The Bouillabaisse, with its fresh fish, shrimp, and scallops in a savory tomato saffron broth, was bursting with flavor. The Duck Confit with beluga lentils and parsnip purée was tender and delicious. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Cesar and Milos for keeping me entertained and being so attentive. Thank you to chef Ryan for helping with my dietary requests while creating exquisite flavor profiles. To top it all off, the stunning view of the city at sunset added a magical touch. Pampelmouse is a must-visit for anyone looking for exquisite food, outstanding service, and a breathtaking ambiance. Highly recommended!
We had a great time! We went around 9:30 pm and kitchen was closing (they should not accept reservations if not fully able to serve) BUT staff was very helpful and made sure we had time to order and enjoy the great food. Highly recommend the creme brulee. Amazing view for sunset - I will definitely go back for drinks at sunset.
Amazing experience! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Elegant restaurant with a beautiful terrace that has great views of the Downtown skyline. My server Liza L was fantastic- attentive, efficient, warm and friendly- thank you Liza! The food was exceptional! Yellowtail Hamachi was delicate and delicious. The jumbo sautéed Tiger Prawns were definitely jumbo, succulent and served with the perfect tangy sauce. Not cheap but definitely worth it and already planning to come back next time I'm in Miami. FYI, when I went it wasn't registered in Uber yet, but if you put 900 or 910 West Avenue as the address it will get you there, then just look for the huge door!
One word: INCREDIBLE Starting with the space, we arrived around 7pm and got to sit outside near the water, where we saw probably the most beautiful sunset in Miami! Our waitress Briana was one of the nicest person I met in Miami hahaha always looking up for us, she did an amazing job! And finally the food: Soooooo good! My personal favorites were the wagyu beef carpaccio & black truffle, the burrata & rosted grapes (roasted grapes!!! Who would it thought?), the foie grass and for the entrees the wagyu steak and black angus bone in ribeye! I don’t eat seafood or fish, so I didn’t try the other options they have in the menu (which sounds tasty too) The sizes were very decent, we shared the plates in four people so we could all try it, and it was enough for everyone. Cannot forget to talk about the mango sorbet! IN-CRED-BLE as a mango lover, this was my favorite desert, I count eat it everyday. Highly recommend.
The water views at Pamplemousse on The Bay are the best in town ! The sunset is breathtaking. This restaurant just opened and it’s gorgeous, Tulum style, cozy and on the water. We had the chance to try the himachi crudo and the king salmon carpaccio as well as the mussels, all were delicious, served in a timely manner with a smile and with delicious wine and champagne. Pamplemousse is the new family favorite !
I had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem. It being located on the Bay facing westward prompted me to make reservations for sunset time. Amazing views of Downtown Miami and great outdoor seating. Professional, fast service by Isa (Isi?) The food was delicious and presentation was on point. Great menu options; we had the yellowtail hamachi, sauteed tiger prawns, octopus croquetas, and of course I had to have the waygu skirt steak. Specialty cocktails Pinky promise and Burning passion were amazing. It was a great experience overall; I regret not visiting sooner.
Pamplemousse offers a striking blend of refined cuisine, impeccable ambiance, and a prime waterfront location. Every detail from the beautifully executed dishes to the warm, elevated energy reflects thoughtful curation. The setting is modern yet inviting, with views that add an understated elegance to the experience. A strong addition to Miami’s culinary landscape, ideal for those seeking exceptional food in a stunning, effortless environment.
I loved it, came here for the sunset and the view was absolutely stunning! The octopus croquette was great and everyone was super friendly, Leey and Yassine was super helpful, very kind and they entertained me as I was coming for a solo dinner :)) please give them a raise! I also got to enjoy the dj music and try out the set with Konstantin, it was very fun!! Overall, loved the atmosphere and the vibe - would absolutely come here again and recommend the place to friends & family!
Brunch at this restaurant is incredible! I am mad at myself that I didn't take more pictures but their burger and their fluffy pancakes as well as their steak and excellent drinks selection is impressive! Our waiter was super sweet and they were able to accommodate our big party of 10 people perfectly, all dishes came at the same time, we didn't wait for our drinks. The food was delicious! Brunch is awesome, next time I'll come back for dinner!
The food, service, and bayside ambiance are divine and unlike anything else in Miami Beach. You see the owner & operator Francois out on the floor taking care of everything & everyone. Lots of attentive, genuine servers. Happy hour is excellent. Sunsets are spectacular. Restaurant is gorgeous. No detail is spared. This is like a restaurant in a timeless resort. Cocktails are top notch. Great place for parties or bring friends or date or happy hour meet up. Some of my favorite dishes are the hummus, kale salad, burrata appetizer, seafood entrees, and especially the signature Pamplemousse granita dessert 😋 don't miss it! This restaurant is a gem.
A friend of ours who owns a restaurant in Miami Beach told us that she could never be sure her food was the best in the city; she could however make sure her customers had a wonderful dining experience. This restaurant not only has exceptional food, in a sumptuous environment, it also has a team of host/hostesses and wait/bar staff who are committed to making sure you enjoy your meal. Thanks to Lee, Ari, Alejandro and Francois and others who are wonderful. We will keep coming back, and encourage anyone to try eating here.
I recently dined at Pamplemousse and was blown away by the stunning sunset view overlooking the water. The ambiance alone would have been enough to impress me, but the food and service were equally outstanding. I started off with a spicy margarita, which was expertly crafted and had just the right amount of kick. For dinner, I ordered the scallops and Wagyu skirt steak with a side of fries, and every bite was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible and everything was plated beautifully. But what really stood out to me was our server, Briana. She was so personable and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire meal. Her hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fantastic dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Pamplemousse to anyone looking for a memorable evening out. The food, the view, the service - everything was top-notch. It truly is a must-visit restaurant.
Best drinks on South Beach, hands down!!! Hang with Alex and Cesar at the bar, they’re fun and make delicious beverages, always something new!!! Also a great place for a date since the sunset there is outstanding, don’t miss the ladies night every Thursday, it’s two drinks free for the girls, you don’t want to miss that!!!
First time here since I live upstairs I had to come and try. View is Amazing. The music is chill, great ambiance for sunset, not too crowded for a good time with intimacy. I’d recommend for any occasion, date, business meeting, sunset drink… The best part was our server, Damyan ! Very kind, genuine and knowledgeable he made me feel like we’ve known each other for a long time and very professional !! Thanks a lot I will be back probably every single day 😁
This is my favorite place ever, located in Miami Beach, close to South Pointe, this is an amazing place that has a wonderful view. But the most interesting part are the best bartenders! The cocktails are amazing, the enviroment invite you to have a beautiful memory. Cesar and Alejandro are the best in recomending wines, cocktails, food but the most important making you feel special and welcome!
really really nice atmosphere, one of bests if not the best place with a bay view in sobe, had the chorizo black mussels that were amazing and a burning fashion ( passion fruit mezcalita ) and a chocolate sensation dessert to finish it up. everything was awesome and will have to come back for more. also Milos and Cesar were great
I went to pamplemousse for a fun girls dinner, this little hidden gem is perfect from the moment you walk in and see the super chic decor, feels like you’re on vacation. The drinks spectacular, the music perfect for the ambiance, the appetizers Wow! And the entrees & dessert delicious. Let’s also talk about the fact that it’s located on the water & not only do you get great pictures but that view, great place for a cute date or lunch date with your girls. The staff all very attentive and nice, I definitely would love to go back.
I don’t often times share reviews, but among all the places I love in Miami, Pamplemousse truly stands out. It’s authentic, vibrant, and full of good energy — with amazing staff, delicious food, and a view that’s just unbeatable. Very few places bring all of that together in such a humble and genuine way. I love the end of the week energy with DJ´s by the bar and I enjoy the Sunday Brunch outdoor with view at Miami´s skyline. I recommend 100%
Hands down the best restaurant to dock & dine and on the water. Plus they don’t charge you an arm & a leg to dock either. All the restaurants that are waterfront overpriced & not good. This place was surprisingly good plus they have a $29 lunch combo which was amazing. We’ll definitely back for dinner. Our server was super attentive as well.
The food, the view, the drinks all amazing, the concept boho chic i really loved it. I had the wagyu carpaccio it was super tasteful, the sauce of the mussels with chorizo really impressed me. The star of the night the foie gras that was perfectly made, came with a bone marrow to die. I really recommend this place to go with your date, partner, friends to have a really good meal with an amazing view and drinks…
Best kept secret for best views, delicious food and amazing drinks on the BAY! And gorgeous views. Truly exquisite atmosphere. Excellent service at the bar by Cesar and Alex. Gorgeous decor. Vibes on 100. There was a little salsa dancing event tonight and we had the best time ever. I love going to this place during happy hour, dinner or ladies night too. Pro tip: best appetizer is the brussels sprouts!
This place is an absolute hidden gem in South Beach, and the location alone makes it special. It’s one of the only restaurants that’s truly directly on the water. We were sitting about two feet from the edge, watching the sun set over the water while we ate. The vibe is romantic and perfectly done. It feels sexy, salty, and upscale, but still relaxed and comfortable, not stiff or pretentious. We went for Valentine’s Day and the Valentine’s menu was excellent. Everything felt thoughtfully put together and paced really well, and it actually lived up to the occasion instead of feeling like a rushed “special menu” situation. The meat was a standout. It was so tender it literally fell apart in your mouth. Perfectly cooked, rich, and just really satisfying in that way where you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Also, the prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting, especially for a waterfront spot in South Beach with this kind of atmosphere. Overall, it’s an amazing date-night restaurant and the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell people about because it still feels like a secret. If you want a romantic night with a killer view, great food, and a vibe that feels special without draining your wallet, THIS is the place.
Pamplemousse on the Bay is a really cute little spot with a great vibe, but it is surprisingly hard to find, especially if you are just walking around before a cruise. We went for lunch and the views are beautiful, calm water, boats nearby, and a perfect setting if you want something relaxed before boarding. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly, which made the experience much better. The only downside is the menu, which is quite limited, so if you are looking for lots of options this may feel restrictive. That said, the atmosphere and scenery make it worth stopping by, especially if you want a peaceful lunch with a view before heading to the port.
Had an incredible lunch at Pamplemousse on the Bay! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and chic. The view over the bay is stunning, and I was pleasantly surprised by the very fair pricing. I enjoyed it so much that I’m coming back tonight with my wife for New Year’s Eve dinner. Highly recommended!
Alejandro and Cesar amazing bartenders, professional and dedicated, they took care of every detail of my cocktails. Definitely would recommend!
I came here for brunch and honestly, it did not impress me. The brunch menu was very boring and very limited. Out of the four dishes we tried, nothing really stood out. There was nothing special that would make me want to come back. The only good thing about this place is the view — it’s absolutely beautiful. Maybe lunch or dinner is better, but for brunch, I would not return.
The greetings were fantastic 🤩 the French Martini mocktail was to die for. Steak fries were. A little cold and undercooked but we enjoyed them mostly. Our burrata was missing the peach but the grapefruit made up for it. Loved the happy staff, waited over 20 mins for our check after our plates were cleared. They have hookah but we did not participate this trip. Next time...!
Me encantó el lugar, una vista excelente, el servicio del chino fue excelente muy acogedor y simpático… lo único q se demoró un poco en salir los entrantes y la comida, pero creo q es pq éramos muchos, pero de igual fue muy buena experiencia
Pamplemousse On The Bay is a decent option if your main goal is to enjoy sunset views with a cocktail or a glass of wine. The setting by the water is definitely the highlight, and it can be quite pleasant during golden hour. That said, the food is a major letdown. The menu options are weak and don’t really justify staying for a full meal. This is not a place I’d recommend if food quality is a priority. If you come in knowing that you’re there mainly for the views and drinks, you’ll likely be fine. Otherwise, there are much better dining options elsewhere. Be cautious and set expectations accordingly.
Very nice view but empty, zero music outside, service didnt care at all, we didn’t get a single water refill and charged 20% service charge. Check out process was a complete mess, trying to pay with qr cores and nothing adding up as they didn’t want to come up to the table. Calamari was also was fried calamari stick which is completely processed. Conclusion is dont use a qr code and bring your water i guess.
@pamplemoussemiami (IG) by the bay was a nice choice for an intimate date, birthday celebration, or relaxing dinner with a nice ocean breeze! To start off the night, we requested the Burning Passion cocktail and the Chambord which is similar to the French Martini Mocktail but alcoholic version without sugar syrup. Both drinks were flavorful and paired well with our appetizers, Chorizo Black Mussels & the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio. The party favorite were the mussels as the chorizo and sauce were tasty paired well with slices of bread, but we unfortunately did not enjoy the Wagyu beef carpaccio. We think it lacked flavor despite it containing fig and black truffle. For entrees we decided to try the Seafood Pasta and the Mediterranean Salmon. The pasta was not as creamy as one expects but the grated cheese on top made it really flavorful. The salmon lacked seasoning, which lemon did help, but the real winner was the finish on the salmon. It was cooked to perfection - tender & juicy, we just wished it was more flavorful and paired with potatoes or asparagus; we felt the dish contained a lot of onion and tomato. Lastly, we ended the night with Chocolate Sensation for dessert. This was a milk chocolate mousse with salty chocolate crumbs, warm cocoa sauce, and praline ice cream. This dessert was exactly as it was described, an explosion of chocolate flavor that kept enticing you to have some more! The customer service was average, it was a birthday celebration to which our waiter forgot about or the host didn’t inform him. Additionally, while we were reading the menu, a separate waitress asked to borrow the menu to give to another table and this resulted in sharing of one menu. I think the right thing would’ve been to go to the front and grabbed another menu, instead of asking to borrow the ones we were reading. Additionally, when our water glass was near empty, we did not receive a refill. At least placing a small water jar on the table so customers can refill their glass would’ve been nice. Overall, the restaurant has a nice view of the Miami skyline and a nice ocean breeze!!
Look, the view is beautiful, BUT, I have been here multiple times, we came for an event tonight, bought tickets 1 month in advance…. The food took 2.5 hours to arrive. It was a 5-8pm event. Food arrived at 8:30pm. We had to bring our baby and it was daylight savings so we figured maximum 1 hour delay. We wait 2.5 hours for our food. This venue is great for a drink but don’t go for dinner and don’t organize events because they have ABSOLUTELY no clue how to manage or plan. They also gave no receipts for my drinks …. I love the ambience so I’m VERY upset. There are many other places to go in Miami Beach, unfortunately this is not your stop.
We had high hopes for this place. We booked in advance and were failed to be told there was a set menu for Valentine's Day. Nothing like their regular menu that seemed enticing. We were very disappointed with the service and the food. Our waitress did not ask for refills until the end of our stay and told us they were out of tea. (We were the first few people here) Steak tataki was not tataki style what so ever. Our ribeye was returned as it was Blue, doused in butter & not medium rare, potatoes lacking flavor. The Dover sole and lamb were both lacking flavor. Dessert was nothing special and just looked like a messy display of mush. Overall very disappointing. Very poor set menu.
I went last night with my two friends. When the bill came, ***four*** items were priced higher than they were on the menu. I did not eat, I only had 1 glass of house wine, my two friends both got the salmon, side of potatoes, and two glasses of house wine each. I believe the bill came to around $250. When I pointed out to the waitress the discrepancies of the prices, she said sorry and went to fix the bill, which must've taken about 20 minutes. She did not give any reason why she overcharged four items. She also did not let us know that the 20% gratuity was already included when she handed the bill. We were polite and respectful about it. After the scandal of overcharging us four times, she did not offer any dessert or drink on the house... nothing. I don't see how four overpriced items were an accident. We didn't leave with a good feeling, and won't be back, which is sad because we are all three locals who live a few blocks away.
Even by the rock-bottom standards of customer service that’s been set in modern day Miami, this place is awful. My party had a reservation for July 4th, outside, to be able to watch the fireworks. Upon arriving on time, we stood at the hostess’ station for over 10 minutes, waiting to be helped, while listening to their phone ring on and on, without being answered. When we were finally greeted, the hostess told us that our table that we’d reserved was unavailable. After our complaints were rebutted with a parade of “we understand”s, we were offered the option of waiting around for a table with walk-ins. After a period of waiting, we were finally offered an unbussed table, inside, with a “wonderful view”…of a pillar. We proceeded to sit at the table for over 20 minutes, by ourselves, without any member of the staff approaching to take our drink order or to even give us menus. After flagging down what appeared to be a manager and requesting help, we sat there for a little while longer before deciding to leave. The staff was unprepared, rude, and negligent. If I could give less than one star, I would. Don’t dine here unless you’d like to get the full “white bmw with a Heat license plate cutting you off without using a turn signal I’m better than you” Miami experience.
Yuck !!! The appetizers, lobster ravioli, arrived cold, and at differing times and without spoons for the soup base which arrived only after waiting 10 min and asking 3 times. The main course, sole, arrived raw as did the lamb. The dessert, a flambe, arrived without flaming liquer. Responding to my complaint the manager said, "Maybe your standards are too high." I was the problem to the disgusting food.
Worst expierence ever. Came back to this place for the second time (the first time was a brunch and was ok) and will never be back here again. We reserved a table outside and when we got here wasn’t ready. Ordered a water and a wine as soon as we sat down and the water arrived after 10 minutes and the wine after we finished the appetizers, is unacceptable and all the staff just ignore you when you try to call them. They sponsor the “fisherman night” all over social media but when you sit down they just hand you the regular menu and had to ask 3 times to bring me a chair at my table while I was stending up. Absolutely lack of service under all points of view. They bring you silverwares after you receive the food (and this also happened on the Sunday brunch). The tuna tartare was not worth 32$, the 62$ skirt steak was a scam as they don’t write how many ounces are and the waiter reply is: “could be anything beetween 6 and 8 ounces”, well ounces a part it arrived cold. My lady ordered the mussels and fries and were both extremely salty, almost unedible. The all experience was a disaster, 300$ down the drain and everything they could say is “the espresso is on the house”. Frustrating thinking that this place is next door and can not come back here for how bad it is. Not to mention our waitress that wasn’t professional at all, not only waiting after the appetizer for the glass of wine but she brings it without a tray and then when she collect our eaten plates she starts to collecting the pieces of food felt on the table one by one with her bare hands. Was meant to be a date and I’m writing this review while I’m still sitting at the table and I just feel embarrassed for the whole “experience”
Stunning Views, Excellent Service… But the Food Misses the Mark Pamplemousse on the Bay offers one of the most beautiful outdoor atmospheres in Miami. The waterfront setting and sunset views are truly breathtaking, and the service was equally impressive! Very attentive, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, the food told a very different story. We started with the charcuterie board and hummus. I initially thought there had been a mistake with the charcuterie as it came with no cheese. After our server kindly checked with the chef, we were told that their board is intentionally served with only meats. While I appreciated the clarification, I personally find charcuterie much more enjoyable when there’s a balance of meats and cheeses, so I ended up not eating much of it. Wanting to give the food another chance, I ordered the chicken skewers and fries. Oddly enough, both were covered in cheese, quite the contrast from the cheese-less charcuterie. The chicken was cold and overcooked at the same time, chewy, and topped with an overpowering blue cheese. The fries were equally disappointing, served cold with thick chunks of unmelted cheese. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat these either. After a $150 bill for food I barely touched, I decided to share my experience with management. To their credit, the owner personally came to speak with me. When I mentioned the charcuterie, he explained that it traditionally includes only meat, which I hadn’t known, and I thanked him for the insight. I also shared my concerns about the rest of the meal. Later in the evening, he returned to tell me I had been overcharged by $15 due to not receiving happy hour pricing and offered to either refund the difference or buy me a drink. I appreciated the gesture but reiterated that my concern was not about the cost, it was the quality and preparation of the food. As a Miami local, I truly wanted to enjoy this spot. Unfortunately, while the setting and service are outstanding, the food fell far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend Pamplemousse on the Bay for dining, but it could be worth a visit for a drink to catch the sunset. Just don’t come hungry.
I went to this restaurant yesterday and all can say was view was spectacular. However the servivce needs more work. We sat down and had the appetizers that came with the Valentine's Day meal. At $119.00 per person it was overpriced and not worth 119.00 per person. After we ate the appetizers we waited 1 hour and after hounding the waitress which was very nice.. They finally brought the food and the only that was hot were potatoes. So in enclosing I spent $474.00 my hard earned to have a horrible Valentines Day dinner for my wife and family. Staley from this place unless you are looking for a nice view because the food was expensive and served at room temperature.
We were completely ignored at the reception, and after waiting for 30 minutes, someone finally came to our table and took our drink order. Then it took another 15 minutes until we finally got a glass of champagne. For dinner, we ordered a bottle of Merlot from the menu, which apparently wasn't available. As an alternative, they offered us a different red wine for 90 USD which we then ordered; the bottle was simply placed on the table – without glasses, and without being opened. The water we ordered never arrived all evening. The staff were very attentive, but for that price, I‘m allowed to expect a good service, and not having to wait 40 minutes to get a drink. I'm so glad we didn't book the wine pairing for $99 per person! The Aspargus was cold, the potatoe gratin was burnt and bore no resemblance to a gratin. It was completely unseasoned; the Filet weighed a maximum of 50g. The most outrageous thing was that they then charged us 120 USD for the bottle of wine that had been offered to us for 90 USD. A bottle of wine costing 120 USD is absolutely not a reasonable alternative to the Merlot we originally ordered from the menu for 50 USD! The deposit of 50 USD per person that we paid when making the reservation was simply forgotten. If I hadn't asked about it again, they would have charged us 800 USD 😅😅... The waitress gave us a 100 USD in cash back 😅. We always enjoy spending money on top restaurants; yesterday was a disaster at that price and a real disappointment, especially given the special occasion. On December 28th, we had dinner at Gianni's in the Versace Mansion and ordered similar food and drinks. We paid significantly less there and received perfect service. I hope you will adjust your pricing for future menus if you don't have staff capable of providing adequate service to your paying customers.
