Perricone's Marketplace & Cafe generally receives positive feedback, particularly for its service, with Fernando being mentioned for his exceptional service. Some customers have experienced issues with slow service or dry pasta dishes. The antipasto and Fiocchi Gorgonzola pasta are well-received.
Tip: If ordering pasta, the Fiocchi Gorgonzola is a good choice, but the penne grilled chicken may be dry. Be sure to check the cleanliness of your glassware.

Came in for Sunday lunch. Not too crowded, just fine with us. As a matter of fact we wanted to sit outside, but a bit noisy. The staff was very accommodating. Ordered drinks, (we are not into it but if a bottle of red wine was available, it would have been preferred rather than ordering by the glass, $8.50.) No problem, perhaps it was a lunch menu time. Ordered our items. Much surprise with the freshness, quality. The seafodd linguine came with shrimp,mussels,calamari... Fresh, delicious & hot. The deep plates contained a larger portion than appeared. What a treat! The plates were all exceptional by all of us as we were raving to each other of our pleasant aroma & taste... surprise! The tiramisu was smoothly delicious a must. (Don't blame us for the calories) The staff is courteous and want their patrons to relax, enjoy their time & n being attentive. Your bill will include a twenty percent c/h. However it is kindly pointed out in several ways. No surprise. Yes, it was an excellent choice for us today. Thanks to all, especially the cuisine staff a very impressive & tastefully prepared dishes.
Hands down, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Perricone's Restaurant is a true gem in Miami. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere drew us in. Our server, Alex, was exceptional - knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure we felt like part of the Perricone's family. And the food? Absolutely out of this world! The pasta dishes were made to perfection, and the osso buco was tender and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. We also tried the famous Perricone's bread, which lived up to the hype! The desserts were also divine, especially the tiramisu. The owner, Steven, even came by to chat and made us feel so welcome. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience with top-notch food and service, look no further than Perricone's Restaurant. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten if I could! 💫🍝
Visited this AMAZING place last night. Our waitress was phenomenal. The food was fresh and very delicious. Both managers that night were incredibly nice and welcoming. My party was very big and the staff genuinely took care of us extremely well. I highly recommend this place for a more intimate family feel Italian restaurant! I will definitely be coming back.
Don’t pass this place up, and don’t forget about it. I’ve been coming here for the 21 yrs I’ve lived in Miami and it never disappoints. Though they moved from an amazing location (giving in to the glitz and newness of Brickell/Miami), the new location is warm, inviting and the same great food. This place holds special memories and feelings for me but it’s really great Italian food. Try the Brie, I promise it’s amazing. Nothing is bad - you will be tasting off everyone’s plate. Super grateful for the recent 4pm birthday lunch dinner!!
Came for date night, had an amazing time! Our reservation was not needed because they have a lot of space. Our food came out lightening quick! Our water glasses were never below half way and every server was 5 star professional. Amazing dinnijng experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Most definitely would dine here again.
Have you been to Perricone’s? It’s our newest go to Italian spot for great eats, authentic vibes, and quality service. As soon as you walk in you’re transported to what feels like a traditional Italian market and transcends into a cozy dining room that gives you that New York family atmosphere. Recommend sitting at a booth to feel super comfortable as you enjoy a glass of Chianti Classico 🤌🏽 What we ordered: Burrata Mozzarella Veal Parmigiana Lobster Ravioli Cavatelli Bolognese The service was on point. Super attentive and polite. Atmosphere was dim and delightful. Food was delicious! All around a great experience. Overall 4.5 stars out of 5. Add Perricones to your list if you don’t already.
From the moment you walk in, to the second you walk out. This is 100% the best Italian Restaurant in Miami. My waiter Oscar was just wonderful and very attentive to every one. Love love love Perricone's
We had us and a some friends cut it a little close by showing up 10 minutes before the kitchen was set to close (9pm). The host kindly let us take a table after asking us to hurry to get our order in. We ended up ordering the calamari as a starter and the lobster ravioli and seafood linguine for entrees. Everything was fantastic. Even better, our server (never caught her name) was really attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole night, even despite us staying pretty late.
Had dinner at the bar tonight, the wait staff was some of the most attentive I have ever seen. The bread was fresh, had with oil and balsamic with fresh parmesan. Ordered the Chicken penne pasta. Everything was served hot, pasta al dente to perfection. Light and was more delicious than I could imagine. Kudos to the chef. Highly recommend, will be back.
Let me just say we all left Perricone's ultra satisfied and happy. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the cocktails. The pictures will speak for themselves.
We go to Perricone's for the Thursday pasta, as it is quite delicious and inexpensive. Nearly every time, my wife and I get the Salmon and Whole Wheat Penne and the Fiocchi Gorgonzola. Today, since we had friends, we also ordered a Seafood dish and the Lasagna, which were excellent as well. After 4PM on Thursdays is their "Happy Hour" equivalent, which I would suggest.
Beautiful place in the middle of brickell. The food is really delicious and I would really recommend it for small events. We recently did a baby shower for a friend and it turned out beautiful. They are super helpful and a decent price! Also on Thursday they do $10 pastas and Tuesdays they do 2 sandwiches for $12....BIG sandwiches. Would definitely recommend!
Perricone’s is a staple in Miami! Originally located in the heart of Brickell and they moved a bit west to a new location and of course it’s continued to be a hot spot! Sat at the bar this visit with a friend and we had a wonderful time. We started with a round of Espresso Martini’s that were just superb! We then had the Perricone’s Organic Salad with walnuts and apples! So delicious. Loved the herb sherry wine vinaigrette, a favorite of mine. We then went onto the main course, Seafood Linguini. The seafood was so tasty and the scampi sauce… so light and flavorful. I’ve tried so many things from the menu and I haven’t been disappointed. We had the Perricone’s Pinot Grigio to pair with our dish and it was the perfect pair. Next, was dessert. I’m big on Italian food and I have to say I only have dessert when there’s Tiramisu on the menu. The Tiramisu was divine. 10/10! Definitely recommend!
I loved this place. It has maintained it character over the years. But I think quality became a little lower. I am looking forward to the new location (I visited one day before this location permanently closed.
Not only do they have their super affordable pasta Thursday specials, they also do have amazing sandwiches, and also have a deal on Tuesdays! Two sandwiches and two drinks for $12!!! We usually start off with the Brie Cheese Wheel which is DELICIOUS. Perfect starter to any dish. Their pastas are all great, but my favorite is still the eggplant. They also have a super cute marketplace prior to entering the restaurant where you can find all different kinds of goods, wine, cheese, desserts, and gelato! Right in Brickell this is a perfect location for a nice dinner and lunch! They service is always spectacular, and the atmosphere of the restaurant with the live band, lights, candles and dim lighting make this a classic Brickell gem.
This was the perfect place to kick off my weekend in Miami! We were seated easily and the service right from the start was impeccable. We had all of our menu questions answered and ordered a few drinks. My friend was also served warm homemade bread with olive oil and parmesan and LOVED it. He ordered the minestrone and chicken parm and said it was some of the best he'd had. My GFree vegetable pasta with shredded parmesan cheese was so light but fulfilling. I didn't feel bloated one bit after dinner and their house wine was delicious (and inexpensive!). If you're looking for a nice yet relaxing dinner with great food in Miami, stop by Perricone's and you'll feel right at home!
Fantastic place if you're in the mood for Italian cuisine. I had the eggplant parmesan (came with penne on the side) and my husband had the spinach and cheese ravioli with pink coral sauce, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. The service was so FAST and very high quality. Only one thing could have been better--the bread served at the beginning of the meal was cold, tasting like it was on the verge of staleness, and not flavorful. However, this detracted very little from the rest of the meal. The tiramisu and layered chocolate cake were so so decadent. This place was within walking distance of my hotel, and I'm really glad I decided to go here!
this is the best Italian place I’ve ever been to. the pasta is absolutely incredible, and the prices are very reasonable. especially for its location. every time I come here I leave it more satisfied than before. the wine is also amazing and so are the appetizers. my family has been coming here for years.
Nice place for date night. Beautiful interior with a lovely outside area with lush green and string lighting. Food is delicious and authentic. Plates can be quite expensive, but the Thursday night $10 pasta specials let you enjoy it without breaking the bank. And a huge plus, they use paper straws which is a win for the environment. Definitely try the desserts at the deli on the way out too!
FOOD: excellent. Had the salmon/baby spinach salad as a starter (very good!) and Perricone's seafood with linguine as a main (also very good, but spicy!). Although I shared both dishes with my girlfriend, the half-portions were still very big. SERVICE: very friendly and attentive. RESTAURANT: top location in the heart of Brickell. Pretty, rather old school decoration inside. The only minus was the air condition that made the restaurant too cold to enjoy. TOP VALUE FOR MONEY!
Our first time at Perricone’s was really enjoyable! The service is A1, everyone was very attentive to our table, and friendly. The food was also really good. We got the mussels, veal parm and gnocchi with vodka sauce. We ate every bite. Oh, we ended with chocolate cake and it was DELICIOUS and enormous. Highly recommend it with their homemade gelato. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic, delicious Italian food. We will be coming back for sure!
I ordered lunch take-out a few times after the co-vid reopening. Food tastes good and price is very reasonable. More importantly, one time I arrived late for pick up. They kept my food warm in the oven. This nice gesture suggests the standards of the restaurant and warms my heart during the difficult time of 2020.
Loved it so much for my Birthday dinner Monday, we went back for his birthday on Friday. Carlos was reason enough to go back. Open, warm, friendly, made great suggestions. Beyond that, the food was fantastic. Off the chart flavorful!! This will be on my list EVERY time I'm in the area.
The food and service here was excellent! The prices on bottles of wine were very good as well, with a good selection. The food came out right on time and our server was very attentive to us despite the amount of tables they were catering to the needs of. She made great menu suggestions and was perfectly knowledgeable of her product. She also catered specially to my food allergy and was able to answer any questions that I had. The garden seating is like nowhere else in Miami. I had a great time dining here and recommend it forward to friends and to tourists when they come to the Brickell/Downtown area.
The experience we had was more than excellent. Thanks to the spectacular service we had from our waitress by the name of Natasha! Based on her kindness and thorough knowledge on what to order, we are definitely planning a second visit to this restaurant and get that excellent service she provided to us again. I really look forward to returning to this location soon.
One of my go to restaurants! Beautiful atmosphere, great service and the food is absolutely delicious. We try to go at least once a month for Pasta Thursdays when they have delicious plates starting at $10. Definitely worth the wait time, once you’re seated the food comes out quickly and never fails to impress.
Wonderful food, wonderful service, menu has lots of choices. Desserts and coffee are terrific. Nice choices of wine by the bottle or glass; and a full bar. Valet parking is efficient. Be ready for a $$$-$$$$ expense but worth it for a special occasion.
If you want to cater an office, lunch meeting and impress, this is the place to call. Their food is excellent and their delivery service is top-notch. Call them directly, or use their website - I recommend the executive lunch platter.
Nice atmosphere with delicious Italian food. We called ahead to secure a reservation and they squeezed us in despite being busy. We ordered lasagna and lobster ravioli. Both were excellent. Prices were fair. Our server was attentive and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant. Everyone left full and happy.
Me and my wife were stranded after a plane got canceled and we couldn’t get into our hotel for several hours. The staff here let us in well before opening and gave us food. Let us stay at a table and play card games the whole time. They were the sweetest most kind and generous people I have ever met. They treated us as VIP guests even though we were intruding on their time. I can not recommend this place enough. To top it off their food is top notch, absolutely delicious. If you have never been here it is worth the time. Thank you everyone for the kindness shown to us it made a big impact in our life’s.
Though they moved about 6 minutes from where they used to be at Merry Brickell, nothing has really changed other than layout. Now you get the feel of a little more upscale restaurant, as before it was mostly open air atmosphere and energy from the area, now a little more subdued, but still you can have an intimate dinner, or have a great gathering with a group. Service as good as always if not better, and food top notch. Enjoy your visit! Thanks Steve and all team members for working together to deliver a great visit,...Everytime
We ate here two times – lunch and dinner. The food and service were very good. For lunch, my wife had the Turkey & Brie sandwich and I had a diced steak sandwich. For dinner we each had a salad and desert. All was delicious. The portions were generous – more than I like to eat. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable for this quality. We also loved the atmosphere. Both times we ate in the garden area. The weather was great so that just added to the experience. It was busy both times were we were there but not crowded. That we went back a second time says it all. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for Italian.
Such a great place. The food is delicious however, I really enjoy their espresso martini. One of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The service is awesome and the place is very homey. I would definitely recommend for a nice date out.
Went here for a few special occasions. They have an outside bar for you to chill at if you are waiting on a table which is very convenient. When you walk in you are greeted by the smell of bread and coffee from the bakery/deli. You can order coffee there as well. The lady working at the deli was very nice and hospitable. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. I got the gnocchi and it was the best I’ve ever had. The portions might be small for some, but I believe they were absolutely perfect. Would suggest this place to pretty much anyone looking for a homey place with superb service and great dishes that anyone can enjoy.
You can’t go wrong at Perricone’s. Fantastic food at a wide range of prices, great service fast and efficient. Location is unbeatable. They have a Thursday pasta special, and a delicious and entertained Sunday brunch. If I’m not mistaken, for $40 bucks you get to eat as much as you want, their great buffet. You can also order a perfectly roasted chicken (amongst many other dishes) to take away for under $15, and it’s so freaking good. They sell cheeses and cold cuts from all over the world. Excellent place. I would Go again and again.
Our baby shower was a success. My family and I were so pleased with the service the staff provided. Each and every one of them was so kind and extremely helpful. My entire family was blown away by the level of service they provided. From the valet staff to the wait staff, everyone was so helpful! They helped us with everything from carrying items for setup to packing things away. It’s just incredible and we didn’t expect that. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Perricone’s has a wonderful establishment and staff. I also love how easy it was to communicate with the coordinator, Carrie, and how the restaurant is completely transparent about pricing and menu options. If I or anyone in my family has another event, it will be at Perricone’s, without a doubt.
Loved the old location and absolutely love the ‘new’ one as well! Food was fantastic, and especially our server Fernando made the experience for our family outstanding! Kids(4 and 2 yo) cleaned up their plates! Will be back soon!
Great food and great atmosphere. We had the baked Brie as an appetizer and it was amazing!!! Service was spectacular as well. Nice romantic evening with my fiance, she loved it and so did I. Would recommend and will return again. Also, considering them to cater for our wedding...!!!
Food was great some of the best I’ve had so far living in Miami. Wasn’t too expensive (which is abnormal here) got a lot of food for $130 which at some places is like 3 things worth. Service was fast and good. Two locations on Uber so don’t make the same mistake as we did and go to the location that’s permanently closed and have to get another Uber to the correct one.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service! Very fairly priced for the generous portions. You can tell the staff really works as a team. My boyfriend and I split the baked Brie and homemade potato gnocchi and everything was delicious. Will come again next time we visit Miami :)
We used to go to the original Perracone's for several years as it was one of our favorite Miami restaurants. Times changed, and we went to the new Perracone's today for lunch. I ordered the Churassco Steak with asparagus and spinach ($33.95), and we shared the Burrato appetizer. My friend ordered the salmon with brown rice and asparagus ($26.95). The meals were very good. We both ordered keto friendly meals. We felt like the prices were too high for the small amount of food on the plate. My steak looked like it was 4 oz, and I was hungry 2 hours after having my little lunch. My friend was hungry afterward also. It shouldn't be that way. So that was disappointing. We did not have dessert because we were doing keto. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs. After driving around the block a couple of times, we found parking at a lot across the street from Perracone's. There was also limited parking behind the building. Both places were pay to park. We had a nice, pleasant lunch today as the atmosphere at Perracone's is cozy and comfortable.
We’ve ordered takeout before but today was the first time we dined in and the food was good but the service was disappointing. We were being rushed from the minute we got in and then after we got the food they completely forgot about us, we ordered a lemonade and we had to remind them 3 times, we also ordered a side of truffle fries that never came. I’m giving it 4 stars because the food is good and the place is beautiful.
Very nice location in the area with a great, romantic ambiance. The restaurant is candlelit with strands of mini white lights. The service is okay and the food was great but nothing out of this world. I tried the fiocchi gorgonzola, and while good, it was not the best I've tried. The chicken parmesan, carrot cake, and banana cake also received the same kind of review. They do have $10 pasta Thursdays so I may come back and give the restaurant a 2nd shot then.
*Review update* they are once again allowing seating outside. I wish whoever I spoke with on the phone when I made the reservation had asked if I wanted indoor or outdoor seating. Last time we came they were not doing seating outside. So when we showed up they couldn’t accommodate because I didn’t ask for it when I reserved. Our Valentine’s Day dinner would have been perfect if the tiramisu wasn’t frozen so we left without dessert, which was a pity. I keep coming back because the pear pasta is to die for !!! We brought our friends and they loved the food too. Our waitress was awesome as well. Thanks as always !
Good Italian restaurant with good Italian food We went for a family dinner at this cozy place and we ordered the veal parmigiana and it was very good size portion and tasted good, also we ordered the veal piccata with lemon sauce and it was good also the French style mussels with tomato sauce and it was good along with the meatballs and spaghetti tomato sauce and ended with key lime pie and for sure the Italian dinner it should be Accompanying with Italian red wine Chianti Classico which was good and reasonably priced The service was good and friendly and the whole environment was nice and family style
A perricone is a type of grape in Sicily that one makes wine from. As the word and name suggests, this establishment sells their own wine. First impressions are everything in life, and when you visit a restaurant like perricone's marketplace you want to feel like your at a warm welcoming marketplace. Upon entering this Italian restaurant, we got that vibe, that atmosphere and mood, then it was destroyed by a hostess. She killed it by asking if we had reservations, which we didn't, then rolling her eyes and sighing. Grabbing three menus and passed them to another gentleman to seat us, making absolutely no eye contact. "Great," I thought, as I was rushed back into the realization that we were in Brickell and this is Miami. We were ushered into the back general seating area where it went from calm and quiet at the marketplace to loud and boisterous. It felt like a cafeteria. The lights were low and candles at every table. It would appear we were dining in a temporary structure like an addition to the building with canvas roofs. Outside the window, a strangling fig grew in between the back of the building. The place was packed. A true testament to the quality of their Italian food. We did the Miami Spice menu and as usual picked our individual appetizer, entree, and dessert. I picked the mussels as my appetizer, the shrimp, lobster, and scallop linguine and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection! The mussels were in a tomato base broth with garlic and onions, the linguine was a mix of spinach and regular and of course was made from scratch. The lobster was shredded and in pieces through out the marinara sauce. And pan fried scallop and large shrimp all contained in a demiloaf! Who puts pasta in a bread bowl?!? These guys do! As dinner went on we got completely stuffed and ate until satisfied. All snooty interactions from earlier melted away as a harp player on a balcony on the second floor played soft jazz. We will be returning for their $10 pasta Thursdays!!
I disagree with other comments about Perricone's being similar to Olive Garden. I think the ambiance is more upscale, service is of greater quality and also food presentation and taste is better. Plus, not just salads available. Parking could be a bit challenging going if you go during peak hours.
After hearing many recommendations for Perricone's from friends working in Brickell, I decided to try it out myself. The food is just delicious, but for me, the most impressionable aspect was the service. The place is slammed packed, but runs like a well oiled machine. I initially felt a little overwhelmed waiting in the marketplace where you give the host your name, but I have never waited more than 5 mins. I have even been seated immediately on several occasions when I have come as a single diner. I have started ordering off the special menu now have a regular favorite, the Fiocchi Goronzola which is stuff with pear and cream sauce. don't order this unless you never want to eat anything else here because you will be hooked on the first bite, I promise you that! Thank you to the entire staff, from the host, busser, and waiter. All very professional, polite, and the most rarest of qualities in Miami, prompt!
Perricone's- I will start by saying the ambiance at this location is no where near as nice as the original location but at least the Baked Brie tastes the same. Service was great, food was good but I was hoping the ambiance at the new location would have been similar to the original Perricone's location.
The food is great (I had the spinach ravioli which was very good) and the service is always excellent. Unfortunately the floor is too crowded with tables and we got bumped by people passing all night. I get the need to maximize the nightly reservations but it is more important to make sure that your guests don’t feel the need to split the check with the table next to them.
Great environment! Go on Thursday's and get the 10 dollars pasta options (8 in total if I'm not mistaken). I had the linguini which was awesome and my friends got the chicken parmegiana. Both dishes were huge in size and flavor. Very well located! One star less for the service, cause the 2 waiters we had contact with were rude
I'm always given great service here, though sometimes the pastas can be a little inconsistent- undercooked or overcooked, sometimes perfect. For the price, it be nice to have it more so the same at each purchase.. but I'll still eat there in the future and hope it's my lucky day 😆
First time here. Place very friendly. Ordered from Miami Spice menu. All foods were very tasty. Mussels with awesome broth and good size serving. Good portions, food served hot in timely manner. Great bread and great desserts. Staff very cordial and constantly checking to see if we needed anything. Service was fantastic. Recommend this place.
Great value ... Carbonara is excellent. Not the best place to eat, but it's very good! Sitting on an open balcony is nice. Delicious food and quality of customer service! I tried chicken parmigiana, and it was delicious. Have a good time! I will definitely go here again. Service and food are worthy. The menu of drinks is not so much, but enough to please the food menu options that are diverse. The same applies to a warm environment.
Great value... Kabbalah is very cool. Not the best place to eat, but it's very good! Sitting on the balcony is very well open. Delicious food and excellent customer service! I tried chicken PA Marie, and the taste is pretty good. Enjoy! Sure, I'll be back here again. Service and food worth the trouble. According to the list, beverages are not many, but enough to meet the options menu items. The same situation applies to a warm environment. In the beautiful room behind the ceiling can be in the weather and open or closed. The food is very good, even when I go there for lunch, the finest service.
Food was good, atmosphere beautiful. Live flamenco musician was awesome! 20 minute wait. Place was crowded and felt like wait staff didn't have time for you. Waiter forgot our bread and was in a rush to clear our table and flip it. Other than that beautiful experience.
We dined at the old Perricone’s for years. Today we decided to try the new location. The atmosphere is very nice. The manager is very pleasant and greeted us when we arrived. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Our Caesar Salad arrived before our drinks. I had to remind them of the drinks and the bread. Thanks to the manager that was on top of everything. Otherwise, we probably would still be seating there. I saw the manager taking orders at other tables, cleaning tables, setting tables, etc. You would think that’s what the waiters/helpers are for. The restaurant was quite empty at the time we where there (around 4:00 pm). I think because they automatically add 20% gratuity to the check, the waiters know and slack off and don’t make the effort. We don’t mind paying 20% gratuity if we get the service. The food was very good though. Please take this as a constructive review
Update: their Google listing says open until 10:30 (weeknights) but drove here and they are not open. ~~~~~~ A delightful reminder of what a dining experience is supposed to be. Fantastic dishes and service. Cashew encrusted Salmon Salad was fresh with overabundance of flavors. The portobello tower “balanced” homemade tomato sauce with balsamic glaze. The eggplant Parma and another dish… a simple chicken marsala… a delight, from what must be quality ingredients and a chef and kitchen staff who will not allow a hint of mediocracy to exit the kitchen. The service that of a fine NY restaurant, but without the rushed energy of NYC. All of this quality hidden in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Brickell, Coconut Grove, Downtown. The owners must be foodies first and business men/women second. It shows in quality of ingredients, preparation and service.
Celebrating a birthday here. Party of 7. Service is amazing. Our server was very attentive and gave us anything we needed. Food was okay. Our orders varied from Chicken Parm which was a little too salty, to Free range rotisserie chicken also Lobster ravioli. Prices are little high and the food was okay, but not amazing. Will probably not eat here again.
Used to love this place when they were located in Brickell. Visited their current location a few times recently. The experiences were just acceptable, as the quality of food and service has significantly declined. For now, this is no longer one of my favorite restaurants.
My dining experience at this purported Italian establishment left much to be desired. I am deeply saddened by having to write this review, but unfortunately, Perricone's has experienced a precipitous decline in its gastronomic standards over the course of recent years. Let me begin by saying the pasta presented a lamentable absence of discernible flavor. I then tried the Chicken Parm a "specialty," which exhibited an unfortunate tendency towards toughness. Clearly an indication of overcooking a basic dish. I sampled the salmon, which at one time was my favorite many years ago. Regrettably, it carried an inexplicably piscine aftertaste. For dessert, we tried the Tiramisu, which I am convinced came from the back of a Sedanos freezer. To add insult to injury, our server, in a regrettable act of mendacity, conveyed misinformation when we inquired about bill separation. He stated that when we made the reservation, we were informed that the restaurant could not split the bill. This is false. This gastronomic endeavor, I must confess, did not meet my expectations and left me with a bad taste in both my mouth and soul.
The restaurant is very pretty and well decorated. However, the service was unspectacular and the food left something to be desired. The kitchen made an error with a dish off their menu. In our case, the fish was the first out of the kitchen with the rest of the entrees. The first missing side came out minutes later (was going around the restuarant looking for the right table) and the final side that was missing had to be asked for. In total quite a few minutes passed before the whole dish was on the table (in three parts). The manager brought out the last item and mumbled a sorry. Then just left. The Gnocchi was below average. Cut into different sized pieces, very bland and the white sauce needed salt and pepper. The last meal of the table was enjoyed by the other member of the party. In addition to their meal, they ordered a side of pasta. When the bill came, initially, there was no reduction or any attempt to rectify the kitchen error. The manager then came and removed the cost of the pasta side from the bill. This had nothing to with the dish that had the issue. After talking to the manager he said "if the bill was separate he would have done more. But because it was all on one bill he just removed only the side pasta". As someone with experience in the food and hospitality industry I left shocked, disappointed and did not feel valued in any way. I know for a fact that this is not how you treat customers. I also know that the Expo position in the kitchen is suppose to read over the order and ensure that all items for the table are present and presented accordingly before the order is released. To end on a more positive note, I will say that the bus boys clearing the table were more attentive than our server. They were also polite and very courteous. They earned the extra star in this review.
I’ve wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time now, this restaurant was recommended by my friends. So, last night me and my friend finally went there. The burrata was good! Atmosphere was nice. But as soon as we tried the pasta we both felt horrible. There was something wrong with it. We both ended up with food poisoning. My friends vacation is ruined because of the food.
Truly disgusting, and sorry excuse for a chicken parm. It was clearly stale and old. The pasta was like rubber. Sauce is flavorless and processed. When I called to complain, the staff had a very “take it or leave it” attitude. They actually had the nerve to stand by their product… “the chef said it was made fresh” - well your definition of fresh must be from another planet. Not authentic Italian cuisine at all. Avoid Perricone’s at all costs.
I used to go to the Brickell location for years. My experience yesterday was pretty disgusting. The waiter was extremely rude and inattentive. Not once asked us if we liked the food or if we needed water. He brought the dessert for my birthday and left it on the table and never brought us spoons. So we sat there for over 7 minutes just staring at the dessert. They illegally force you to pay 20% gratuity and when we spoke to the manager about our unsatisfactory experience he took our check and money and said he completely understood and would adjust the tip to 15% then disappeared for 10 mins with our money and then the waiter came and slammed the check on the table and they never adjusted anything and charged our cards the 20%. When we walked outside to wait for our Uber we looked inside and could see the manager laughing with the other staff and making fun of us. Disgusting, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional behavior. We will never be back and will make sure to let all are family and friends know the type of treatment they can’t expect when walking into your establishment. Attached is the picture of your “general manager” who thinks it’s funny to disrespect and laugh at a group of 4 women.
I would leave zero stars if I could. Awful service from start to finish. It was not good. I sensed an attitude right at the moment I was placing my order over the phone. When I went to pick it up, the woman who took my order over the phone didn't give me what I ordered. When I was trying to explain her my order, she started to scream at me. Her manager was not any better, horrible management. They shouldn't be working in a fast place where they have to deal with people if they don't have the patience to listen to their clients. The food might be good, but the service is horrendous. Would not recommend and I will never return.
I went last night for my boyfriend’s birthday. Didn’t know the moved to a Different place . The new place it’s beautiful but everything was so different . Our waitress was horrible , was rushing us . The food was out of the kitchen in less than 5 minutes, hard as a rock , wine taste cheap and warm . The manager was nice to offer me something else but we left . Everything went wrong .. Maybe was just me , but I had a horrible experience and sad because we drove so far for nothing..
Saturday 3/23. 220pm, i was looking for a place to have a business lunch without the headache of parking in Brickell. Location is perfect! I started to look around and never got greated, finally someone questioned me if I needed anything. I ordered a sandwich that was on point, I assume it was who made the sandwich hat delivered to me and was hospitable! , also took 3 bags of cookies and asked for an Ice Latte!!! WOW that was a mistake, attitude and the female cashier was not having a great day, they delivered the Ice Latte or what they thought in their minds it was and I showed dissatisfaction and disappointment and said of well I guess I am never coming back and the male said NO PROBLEM I thought of canceling the total order but not fair to the Kitchen and left even leaving a Tip.. Hopefully management does something about it as I am in the F&B business also and they should have friendly, hospitable people working as cashiers or deli attendant.... I wish them the best but not worth the headache..
