Having lunch at Zaika Indian Cuisine was an outstanding experience! Our waiter, Clive, provided exceptional service, ensuring all our needs were met. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to quality. The establishment was spotless, and our meals arrived promptly, which was impressive. The prices were fair, making the entire dining experience well worth it. We highly recommend Zaika Indian Cuisine for anyone looking for an excellent meal and impeccable service.

The food was delicious. Best Indian food we’ve had in the Miami area - no wonder the pace is highlighted as one of the best in Eater. Service was great. Plenty of free parking. For all we ate and for how good the food was, it was very reasonable priced. Also, my wife cannot take a lot of spiciness, and they accommodated her food to be very mild. First time she enjoys Indian food this much.

Had the best Indian food available in an understated, elegant dining room. Once for lunch, another for dinner with my daughter. Service was warm and inviting, knowledgeable and prompt. Everything we tried was excellent: onion nan and chutney, a delicious shrimp in cashew soup, authentic tandoori chicken--naturally orange colored and savory. We had two lamb dishes, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lamb chops were outstanding. Finished with a wonderful frozen mango dessert. Altogether a great place in an inconspicuous spot.

So, after smelling the amazing food that was being made while walking our dog, we finally were able to stop here. The food was just as amazing as it smelled. The service was top tier! We were sat immediately and our food came out fresh and fast. I highly recommend any of their Naan, their butter chicken, and their mango ice cream. All delicious! Well seasoned and the perfect temperatures.

10/10 today was my first time coming here (I came here for my birthday with my family) and it exceeded my expectations!! The food was amazing, the service just as amazing (all of the servers were extremely attentive, quick, and helpful) and the atmosphere of the restaurant is super nice (nice tables, lighting, etc). Just had an overall awesome time and will come again!

This is the best Indian restaurants I've had in Miami so far. Levels of spice whatever you desire are on point. Lamb, goat, chicken, shrimp, veg, korma, vindaloo, Tikka masala, all excellent. Chai and Lassie is made from scratch. This is now my regular place. (If you enjoy interesting cooking and travel videos please visit cuisineQuest on youtube!)

We came to Miami for a 5-day vacation and, like always, we thought of trying Indian food—because honestly, our hearts and stomachs feel full only with Indian meals! Until now, my experience with Indian restaurants in the United States wasn’t great, but ordering from **Ziaka** completely changed my perspective. 😋 On the first day, we ordered **Chicken Biryani** along with a side of rice for my son. It was absolutely delicious. On the second day, we tried **Chole, Butter Naan, and Rice**, and I had requested some onions for salad. To my surprise, they thoughtfully added onions, green chilies, and lemon—he even understood the part I didn’t say! I couldn’t take any pictures—I was too busy enjoying the food! If you’re in Miami, **Ziaka is a must-try.** Highly recommended!

Maybe this doesn’t count but I ordered Zaika on ubereats and was pleasantly surprised. Being indian, I have a high bar for good indian food.. and Zaika seems to be one of the better spots in Miami Quality of the meat was good (seekh kabob made out of lamb was solid.. could have been more spicy..). The paneer tikka masala was delicious.. you know this place is legit when the ‘regular plain basmati rice’ is lightly sautéed in butter.. adding that subtle tasty touch

I don't even need to make one of my Ultra Long Reviews, This is Hands Down in the Top 3 Best Restaurants I've ever been to. I recommend the Butter Chicken, Biryani Rice, Garlic Naan, and Dal is all you need and Make sure you bring at least 3 people to share it all with. 1,000 out of 10 score. Best Indian Restaurant I've been to and I'm sad I'm not there At this moment.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zaika Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The flavors were nothing short of spectacular, capturing the true essence of Indian cuisine with every bite. The dishes were beautifully presented, and each one was bursting with authentic spices and fresh ingredients. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the naan was perfectly soft and warm, and the biryani was a fragrant delight with just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a true taste of Indian Cuisine, look no further than Zaika Restaurant. I will definitely be returning soon.

We drive a good 40 mins every few weeks to visit this place. Tried so many other Indian spots but we ways return here because their food is phenomenal. It’s not OVER spiced up when you ask for mild, which I truly appreciate. The paneer tikka is phenomenal. The okra - amazing. Everything down to their mango lassi is amazing. I do wish they had salted lassi though or sparkling lemon soda.

Food was exceptional as was the service. The staff and restaurant was adhering to Covid19 regulations. I ordered the paneer mahkani. Blew me away. So delicious. The best Indian food in town! The lamb is awesome the shrimp was too. The curry comes mild, medium, or spicy. Garlic Naan is the best naan. Portions were great for the price. Four adults ate for $115. Service was good and quick. I am going back.

It was a great experience being our first time here and new to Indian food. We went at dinner time and have not tried their lunch specials. You have the ability to adjust the spice level so you can enjoy the food without worrying about the spiciness. We ordered the Entrees: Butter chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, and Lamb Chop Masala (Yes, you get rice). Five Garlic Naan's which one Naan have 4 pieces, Onion Kulcha, and the desserts, Mango Kulfi and Pistachio Kulfi. Everything was soooo good and my family and I enjoyed ourselves that we ordered more Naan and Lamb Chop Masala to go. I would recommend if you eat meat, Chicken Vindaloo but they do have vegetarian options as well. Can't wait to try those! The 3 entrees where enough for 4 people and little left over. It costed a pretty penny but it was worth spending. Just my opinion.

I grew up in this neighborhood but sadly did not make my first visit to Zaika until two years ago. It is now a MUST STOP every time I visit home. Authentic, always fresh, always delicious and consistent in flavor. We typically start with vegetable pakoras and garlic or paneer naan. The food is served family style and we love to share. This last visit we got our favorite malai kofta, chana masala and another vegetable curry. If you like Indian food and you're in the area DO NOT MISS OUT! SO SO SO GOOD!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE coming ! They are always buzzing inside but never not full (no waiting) or maybe we’ve been lucky every-time and got seated right away table for 2 coming here. Must try: mango lassi smoothie it didn’t make it to these pictures since it’s typically gone with one seconds lol

Certainly the best choice for Indian cuisine in the area. I've visited Zaika several times and the food is always fantastic. The samosas, paneer pakora, lamb vindaloo, shrimp tandoori, chicken tikka masala, saag, and chana are excellent. Their tandoori and tikka masala dishes are especially great. The naans are delicious. The dishes are so served mild so if you like them spicy, make sure to tell the server how spicy you want it. I prefer the dishes hot with a side of raita and a cold beer. The service is always friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Ambience is relaxed but nicely decorated. I would 100% recommend Zaika to others.

After a first trip it's clear that you can get excellent Indian food here. We tried the butter chicken and the lamb korma. Both were excellent! Unfortunately, unlike Indian Spice (which appears to have gone out of business), they do not make their paneer in house, so we avoided the paneer dishes. The service was friendly if a bit uneven. We will definitely return to try more of the menu!

This is my second time visiting this establishment and it’s even better the 2nd time around. The food is so good and so flavorful. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants in Miami hoping to recreate what I had here and it was always a miss. And the service is amazing. Clive was my waiter both times that I went and he gives amazing recommendations and is very attentive. This is likely gonna be our new go to as my hubby is ready to try something new there…

Zaika Indian Cuisine in North Miami is so good, I'm so full I can't write the full review... the Naan filled with coconut was amazing. The meats, the dessert, and everything else. My big mistake in this place is to order a spicy as indian people like it. I had to stop eating my food in the middle of my adventure. Horrible experience. However the food is delicious, just order to be very easy on spice. The indian beer wonderful. The yogurt mango drink to die for. 2nd visit, this time I ordered mild spicy. Paneer Naan was really good. As a vegetarian, I have ordered an eggplant dish. Flavor seems to be very authentic.

One of the best Indian restaurants we have been to. Top-notch quality and taste. The ambience was nice, and they quickly accommodated our group of 15 people, including kids, with proper seating. Since we pre-ordered the food, it came quickly, though we have noticed other tables also served the food on time. Everything tasted authentic and was in ample quantity. The waiters were very humble and accommodating. Since our group had kids, including infants, we had multiple requests, and they patiently supported us. Must-visit place if you are visiting Miami or live there for quality food and nice service. 100% recommended.

We have been coming to Zaika for years. We cook a lot and mostly eat at home, but if we are going out this is our absolute go-to Indian restaurant in South Florida. We don't bother preparing Indian food at home since we don't know if we could match the quality of their cuisine. A few years ago they opened a new location in Weston and having eaten various times at both I can confidently say that the ownership is fantastic as both locations offer consistently excellent Indian food. At this location particularly we are treated like family. Funny story, one of my best friends, who might be their most regular customer, recently celebrated their baby shower at this location. We had celebrated several occasions including birthdays here in the past so it made sense to us but we weren't sure how it would work out. It was excellent! The food, the service, the presentation, and the ambiance were all outstanding! I look forward to continuing to eat Zaika's Indian food and you should too!

We had a group dinner here, and we had a fantastic experience! The service was wonderful, and the food was tasty. We all left feeling full and well taken care of. The restaurant was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. We were allowed to bring our own bottles of wine for a reasonable corkage fee, which we appreciated. The staff brought us nice wine glasses and wine cooler, which added to the experience. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

I recently dined at Zaika Indian Restaurant, and it was an absolutely delicious experience! The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels inviting and vibrant, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The food was exceptional. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care — from the rich, perfectly spiced curries to the fresh, flavorful naan and biryanis. The menu has a great variety, offering both classic favorites and unique specialties that keep things exciting. What really stood out was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to guide us through the menu, making the meal feel personalized and welcoming. Overall, Zaika Indian Restaurant is a must-visit in Miami for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine in a warm and inviting setting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

On a tourist trip to Miami, we found this amazing gem of a place! Top notch food, friendly service, and genuinely nice people. We ordered Zaika Malabar Chicken, Dhaba Chicken (was spicy), paneer tikka masala, and garlic butter naan. They provide complimentary papad and mint chutney. Every single dish we tasted was absolutely delicious. Soul satisfying food. Will visit again!

I am vegetarian and was fed up of Miami food so was looking for comfort Indian food. We stopped by Zaika to have lunch. I ordered Aloo paratha, indian style salad, mango chutney and Raita. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. My husband had chicken curry and nan and he liked it too.

I think of this as gourmet Indian food. The service is excellent, too. I commonly get the lunch special, but you have to choose between soup and samosa. So I pay extra, and get both.

The food is amazing, and I’ve been there many times. However, the cleanliness could be improved — there is often debris on the floor that makes the place seem dirty, and yesterday I even stepped on a cockroach. I hope this issue can be addressed.

The lentil soup came after a few minutes, but it was very hot that I had to wait sometime before start eating it. Taste is semi delicious. The lamb biryani was mild spicy, which means almost no spices. I should ordered medium spicy

We loved the place, Ambience and food. We ordered few biryanis and the flavour of rose water was more in it. But overall other than that food was good, we let them know before we were leaving, they said if they would have known earlier they would have replaced it.

4.5/5 stars Really want to rate 5 stars because the food is spectacular. The entrees are made to authentic Indian taste with the perfect level of spice. We got Chicken tikka masala, malai kofta and dal makhani. Entrees were well made and tasty!! Our appetizer malai chicken was also good but I think the paneer tikka looked better (well charred). Definitely will try next time. The reason I take the .5 stars off is because the garlic naan. It left more to be desired, since this goes with most entrees I wish the naan was better. Not sure if it was the quality or was just not cooked enough. It was more chewy and rubbery than most garlic naans I have had before

I really like this restaurant. I usually go at lunchtime on Friday afternoon. The Lunch Menu is expansive enough. I usually get Chicken Tiki Masala and although it is not traditionally spicy, I ask for mine extremely spicy. The last time I went here, when I explained to the waiter that I wanted my food extremely spicy, he said "Indian hot," and I said, no, hotter than Indian spicy. He was skeptical at first, but I told him that I would never complain and would only send my food back if it wasn't spicy enough. When my food came out, sure enough, it was like eating tomato soup on my chicken. I asked the waiter to take the food back and have it cooked spicer. He offered to bring me a dish of spicy sauce (which isn't even spicy to me). I said, no, take it back and have it cooked spicer. He did and the food was EXCEPTIONALLY hot and spicy - just the way I like it!!! I also have to mention that I really like the lentil soup and hot, fresh-baked, buttery bread with the meal. It is exceptionally good. I certainly recommend going to this restaurant. I would strongly recommend that the restaurant owner/manager consider offering a lunch buffet (as every Indian restaurant in NYC has).

Ordered yesterday for the first time and we weren't disappointed. They have all the comfort foods you could ask plus great specials. Among all the good dishes we ordered, I have to say that the butter chicken was great! I wish we could have eaten in because the restaurant is beautiful, but with the little ones, we can't always do that! 😂 Anyway, if you're looking for good Indian food near North Miami Beach, make it a point to stop in! 🤓 👍

Our two favorite go-to Indian dishes are Palak Paneer and Butter Chicken. Both were very tasty. I would have preferred the Palak Paneer just a tad bit creamier but all in all, the flavors were all there! And of course, the one slice of naan bread (cut up into quarters) was as good as naan bread gets!

We had booked the reservation one day prior over phone. But when we went there at the correct time , they said there is no such reservation . But they promptly arranged the seating . We have to wait 15 min . We had gone 3 families . Total 6 people . Ambiance was ok . Ordered Lamb chop , Samosa chat and Tandoori chicken as appetizer. The Lamb chop was out of the world . A must have . I will definitely order it next time . The Tandoori chicken was good too . Everybody liked the Samosa chat. In the main course we ordered dal makhani , chicken tikka masala , paneer butter masala , with kulcha and butter naan . Kulcha and butter naan were good . Paneer preparation was the worst . Paneer was chewy and hard. It should have been soft . The chicken tikka masala was so so . Dal makhani was ok . The desert Rasmalai and kulfy ice cream was fine . The Appetizers were very good . Main course was pretty average. Service was prompt . And like any other restaurant if 6 or more person, they charge 18% tips .

3/5 We tried 2 curries, rice and butter naan. One curry was khadia chicken and other one is pepper chicken. Khadai chicken was sweet. Pepper chicken same as khadai chicken with green peppers. Coming from Toronto May be I am being critical. Try and order something different I guess. Would suggest when you have no options.

First time here so hopefully it was just a bad experience. However the food portion were extremely small with about 3 pieces of protein in each serving. Server was good and attentive however he spilled water all over me and the table. Unfortunately this restaurant did not meet my expectations, so hopefully this review can at least save someone a good amount of money for a little amount of food and enjoyment.

Food was good ! Service was pathetic ! The restaurant didn’t smell good inside ! We were two families( 4 + 3) whose orders were separate and checks as well but he added 18% gratuity on both the checks ! The interesting argument of the server was I cannot inform you about this prior to your check selection ! You should read the Menu and help yourself! As usual we paid 36 % gratuity ! Be careful of such things when you visit this restaurant! It’s not about paying more or less but more about honesty and integrity by mere of which the restaurant business runs !

This place is full of roaches. I do not understand how it hasn't been shut down yet! Had dinner with family and a roach came out crawling on the wall. Disgusting.

s
saiootej reddy

I ordered chicken biryani about 10 minutes earlier but then changed my mind and asked if I could switch to mutton. I completely understand that the kitchen may have already started preparing my order, and it would have been fine if they had politely told me that the food was already being made. Instead, I was met with a rude response and angry expressions, which was disappointing. Customer service matters just as much as food quality, and a little courtesy would have made the situation much better.

We just had our dinner in this restaurant and staffs were so arrogant, they were about to close and they literally snatched our plates saying that it is their closing time when even though they still had time to close. They even brought the bill before we finished our dinner. It was a disgusting experience and staffs were making faces on looking at our plates. They were mean and highly unprofessional. Never recommend anyone for this restaurant. The food taste was average but staffs had ZERO manners.

S
Shelle Luv

The worst customer service I have ever had in any restaurant. There was one waiter in particular who was very rude. Everytime I asked him for anything or even when I asked to split the bill three ways, he gave me the dirtiest look and spoke to me with such disdain. It was embarrasing and humiliating. Mind you, we spent way over $100 on lunch. You would think he would have been nicer so he could've gotten a better tip. But he wasn't. Needless to say, there are plent of Indian restaurants, so I don't need to, and won't, go there again. As far as the food, if you like bland food, you may like the dishes. But Indian food is normally anything but bland. It's usually very tasty and flavorful, and full of exotic spices, which was not the case in this restaurant. Instead, the food was quite dissppointing compared to all other Indian restaurants I have been to. Also the seating area and restaurant were very small, and the decor was ugly and cheap looking. If you like overpriced, bland Indian food with terrible customer service, this is the place, hands down.

The restaurant was good, but if you are south Indian you might not like the Taste or smell, everything is sweet. I also dint feel the food was fresh, like we had Naan and it doesnt feel like it was made that day.

@local10news @health department need to come to this location and see the roach infestation they have going. We had a roach crawl up to our table as we were finishing our food! The worst experience. I wanted to vomit! And they offered no solution besides a 20$ off when clearly this place needs to be shut down. Not open for business. I gave an 1 star because a no star is not available
