I've been to this Red Lobster numerous times for my wife's birthday. The bartender/ waiter John was amazing. Very kind and on point! Phenomenal service.
I typically avoid chain restaurants. I can honestly say this Red Lobster is a step above. Great service truly makes the food taste better. I am sure they know, but the bartender is a pro, food was delivered hot and fresh with little wait. Overall food was very good and a good value. Recommend!
The waitress, Bianca, has been serving my family for over 8 years. Whenever we come to eat, her hospitality and professionalism is beyond amazing. Our drinks never go empty, she refills our sodas without us asking. In 8 years she has yet to mess up our order. A+++
Everything here was fantastic. Liz my server was on point. Even got a chance to talk to manager Kevin. Food was delicious.

We enjoyed our meal. The biscuits did not taste the same, I was wondering if the recipe had changed slightly. They were still good, but not as good as they normally are, not as buttery and “lite.” Because of this, I only had one. The stuffed flounder was great and my husband enjoyed his fried shrimp. Although the decor of the restaurant was old and you could also smell the age of rug, it was very clean and presentable. I guess maybe that’s why restaurants now have tile floors. It’s easier to clean if there are spills and have high foot traffic. No flies or gnats like you sometimes have in other diners or restaurants. It was still very comfortable, peaceful and homey. It wasn’t very crowded or noisy. The seating and tables were clean as well. The bathroom was also very clean. Our waitress was excellent. She was cordial, friendly and very accommodating. I would go back again. It was a very good meal that was not too expensive and it was filling. Too bad “Red Lobsters” are closing. Hopefully, they will keep some of the restaurants open.

This was our first time at Red Lobster at this location. The last time we’ve been to Red Lobster was 7 years ago! We came in 40 mins before closing so we were expecting to be rushed but instead we had the complete opposite experience. The workers were so kind and reassured us the whole time that they were in no rush to close. My 5 year old was fascinated with the lobsters at the front of the store so one of the workers were nice enough to spend time showing her one of the lobsters and having her take a close up look.. which we really appreciated! Food and service was amazing which is a rare finding today.
I went to this Reb lobster with my father and our Waitress was Casey she was so kind to us and spoke softly and the food was absolutely amazing and came quickly and the biscuits was delicious I hope I can come back soon and have the same Waitress with the same Experience

My family and I went to the Middletown, NY location after our local Red Lobster closed since winter 2024. We have been coming back ever since, because our experience has been nothing short of exemplary. When we met our server Tanya, she made us feel welcome and well attended to, checking in constantly and always happy to make sure we have everything we need. We always feel it's well worth the nearly 40 minute drive, because the food is delicious and the service is superb. I cannot rate the location high enough. It is, without hyperbole, the best experience in a restaurant I have ever had. I would rate it above 5 stars if I could. If you go to Middletown, ask to eat with Tanya.

Had a quick, last-minute, and sporadic getaway from the kids. Decided to go to Red Lobster for dinner with my wife. Waitress was extremely attentive, food came out super fast, and it was very delish. Went home with our favorite red lobster signature buns. All around, a very well satisfying dinner. Kids must have tracked us down or had their spidey senses turned on and called us to ensure we bring them some food as well.

I ordered shrimp and scallop skewer. There were very fresh and grilled to perfection. I'm from the oriental and grew up eating sea food everyday. I'm familiar with the smell, taste and texture of sea food when there are fresh. I'm very satisfied with my food! The staffs are also very accommodating and friendly.
Besides the food being hot, delicious and on time , our waitress Casey made our visit. Casey was informative, friendly and accommodating. When we’re up in the area again, we’ll stop in to see Casey again.

Was there for dinner with my friends had Philip as our server. The food was amazing and his service was great. It was clean and he kept coming back to see how everything was tasting. We had the absolute best waitress EVER! Jeanine made our experience so pleasant. She took such great care of us. Haven’t had such outstanding service like this in a really long time. She is definitely a keeper.
Michelle was our server, and she really made the meal excellent. Whoever was in the alley made some errors but Michelle took care of all the issues for us and it saved the day. She even packed us up some of our favorite sauce in a little cup to take home. I would ask for her next time just to assure we have the same dining experience.
This was the FIRST red lobster that I have ever been to where the food actually looked like the commercials and pictures. The taste was just as good and not the dry over cooked food as it can be sometimes. The server Tanya P. was awesome as well, very attentive and courteous. She definitely is the reason why people come back. There was a couple that spoke with her about always being pleasant when they come in and it showed. It's unfortunate we don't love close.

We've been coming here for years, and service has always been consistently great no matter who we get. The food has always been great, too, and portions are perfect. Yesterday, we got two ultimate feasts, and everything was delicious. We had lobster, crab legs, coconut shrimp (my favorite!), shrimp Alfredo, shrimp scampi & all of it was perfect.
Server, Jeanine, was the absolute best!!! She made our experience great. She's a keeper!!

My family and I went to this Red Lobster location this past Sunday, the food was delicious! We had Tanya as our waitress, she was so accommodating, answered any of our questions, updated us on our food, brought us refills of drinks and biscuits. She even loved my son, called him my his name, asked him what he was ordering, complimented him. All around great, wonderful, amazing waitress, definitely going to ask for her when we go back! I’ve never had anybody be so attentive and kind when at any of the other locations! This one is also super clean, organized and well stocked with supplies. 💜

I have been going to this Red Lobster in Middletown, NY for 15 years. The food is always amazing and I have to say that Tanya the server there is truly the best server. She is kind, friendly and caring. She is the best server I have ever had. I have been to 4 star, high end restaurants and nobody has ever come close to her. She genuinely makes you feel like your family. She wants to get to know all her guests and she gives exceptional service! I always request her and noticed all her other tables feel the same. Last week's visit at lunch 4 other tables in our area all shared the same appreciation and praises I just shared. Tanya you deserve this post and keep up the great work and thank you for being you!
So we came in for the first time after all the rumors of closing, we got to sit at the bar with Leo, and he was amazing! Attentive, sweet, and informative! My partner and I plan to come back specifically because of his amazing customer service! Great job who ever trained him!

I’ve never had a more perfect experience than at this restaurant. I dined here with my family and I think we will make this a regular occasion. Our waitress was so wonderful, I believe her name was something with a B. She was a lovely black woman who was so attentive to us. It was my Great Aunt’s birthday and she made her feel so special I just wish I remembered her name. The food was phenomenal. I previously dined at the Poughkeepsie location back when it was still open and the food was very much lack luster. At this location I had the Parmesan Baked Chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes as a side. Immaculate is an understatement. My only complaint is that it was too good to stop eating. My stomach was full but my heart wanted more. Every restaurant goer was so happy and in a great mood that I couldn’t help but smile the whole time. If you have never been to Red Lobster at this location you are definitely missing out.

I went about a month ago and forgot to write my review but the only issue I had was they got rid of the tartar sauce and said it has been discontinued. The whole point in going to red lobster is for the legendary tartar sauce. I wonder if it just this restaurant or all of them have changed the tartar sauce. I will try another one and if this is universal Red Lobster will lose me as a customer.
Came in for dinner. Parking is more than adequate. Did not have to wait, was seated right away (4 people). New menu so, some items are no longer available. Service was excellent and our food came out in a timely fashion. The atmosphere is just your regular chain restaurant setup. Highly recommend.
The time before this experience, my mother and I said, "Never again!" Well, we went back 2 nights ago, because I had the hangries. And what pleasurable dining! Our attentive server Elizabeth was so professional and patient, even while working on a large party not far from us as well! I personally changed items on my order a few times (bc I was hangry), but they took it in stride. Thank you! As for the food: the bacon wrapping the scallops was a tad salty, but we merely unwrapped them midway. The calamari was delicious! The lobster tail was wonderfully plump (a delightfully HUGE improvement from our abysmal prior trip). The lemon vinaigrette on the salads was a welcomed flavor! The rice looked delicious! My only complaint about the food would be that the crab legs were bland--the water needed more salt to enhance the crab flavor. Overall, we truly enjoyed dining here this time. Please keep it up so I can happily toss my money at you!😂

Red Lobster… I once thought this to be the pinnacle of fine dining. Now… it’s kinda depressing! This location feels old and dark and dingy. We got the crab legs and the kung pow shrimp. Both were good, not mind blowing, but definitely not bad. Our server was very friendly and super attentive. We were put in a small room filled with other tables, and while I appreciate that they’re still clearly trying to put some distance between parties when possible, it was a lot of people to be put in the same enclosed space when the rest of the restaurant was much more open and had practically no customers. This restaurant feels like it would have been the place to be in 1996 and hasn’t really been updated since.
Came here a few hours ago. Our waiter was amazing and super attentive to detail. Tipped him 30% because the service was so awesome and the food tasted good. However within 30 minutes (after we left) I developed severe food poisoning and have been miserable since. I got the ultimate feast with Lobster, Crab, Shrimp Alfredo, and coconut shrimp with a side of Mashed potatoes and broccoli. My Mom got endless shrimp and she is ok. I have came here a few times and this was the first time I got food poisoning. Will I go back, probably not because I can’t risk getting sick with my health issues.
We usually head to Red lobster for our anniversary. However I don't think we will after this. 1. The prices were much higher. 2. The restaurant was freezing. 3. The food was okay, not great. not worth the higher prices. 4. Waitress was great. No complaints about service.
The server/service was outstanding. The food was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the Mariner boil and the lobster was shrunken down to almost nothing... Perhaps it was a little overcooked. And the meal as a whole was lukewarm in temperature. I wanted a boil to be steaming hot and inviting and it just wasn't. 😐
Three of us entered this Middletown Red lobster We were sat immediately by an unfriendly hostess We waited 16 minutes before I got up and went to the hostess who is now cleaning a table and asked her if she bothered to tell anybody we were seated 10 minutes later a trainee showed up to get our drink order another 10 to 15 minutes later a waitress showed up to get our food order. I was not impressed with the very small so-called Walt shrimp which used to be huge I was not impressed with the fish the lobster was like rubber We never got our salad the waitress and the trainee both forgot to bring our request of ketchup and tartar sauce It was just not worth the price or our time
I received a $25 gift card and my Husband hates seafood so while I was out alone I decided to stop for lunch. I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. My waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered Walts favorite shrimp with 2 sides and my salad was almost immediate. I ordered a light dressing, which I should have asked for on the side. My salad was so heavily dressed it was soupy. My food came out rather quickly, but my shrimp was cold and flavorless. My broccoli had decent flavor, but it was overcooked and mushy. There was no finess to the plate. The flavors didn't shine.The whole meal sat like lead and I wished I hadn't stopped. I used the table kiosk to pay and it asked how much of a tip I wanted to leave and I decided to max out the gift card with the tip. It came out to around $24.97. When I was finished it said I still had $12 left on the card. Again it was a gift card so I thought maybe I was mistaken by the amount of the card. The waitress explained I only partially paid the bill. She took the gift card and disappeared in the back leaving me standing in the dining area next to a bus box waiting for her. She came out and explained her manager was going to try the card and she kept working. I stood there like an idiot not knowing who I was actually waiting for. The waitress eventually came out and announced the card wouldn't go through. I gave her my debit card and paid for the remainder of the check and a tip. It was kind of embarrassing standing there while someone announced my gift card wasn't working. It was an uncomfortable enough experience and the food was mediocre so I doubt I would ever go back.

Our family of seven went to red lobster for our grandsons eighteenth birthday dinner. We went at twelve noon so it wouldn't be to crowded. There were only three other couples there. Our waitress was very nice and cheerful but that's as far as it got. We ended up being there for two and a half hours. Everything took way to long and on top of that she forgot a lot of our order. People who came in after us were seated and had their meal before us. Granted she was the only waitress on that side of the dining area but there wasn't hardly anyone there. Other customers were also looking around for her. This place needs to shape up and run this red lobster like it should be. Unfortunately we won't be back to this place.
I called this place on Aug 5, 2025 after already being on the way to store at 45 mins before closing..I told the two females who answered the phone that I’m on the way with my kids and would be there 10-15 minutes before closing and just wanted to place a pick up order…not once not twice but three times they answered the phone and hang the phone up….finally I got someone again on the phone and after explaining the situation again… she told me we’re not allowed to take pick orders 45 mins before closing…I can’t see how you run a business and shut down orders almost a hour before closing…driving from New Windsor and having 8 minutes left to store I had to turn around and drive back to go get food at AppleBee’s which was not what myself or my kids wanted….the service or workers need to be fixed at this location
Hey Campers! Always extremely disappointed as this has always been one of my favorite restaurants to have dinner I had this pasta bowl with lobster for $35. It was horrible I've never tasted such a bad dish from Red lobster the asparagus world hard as a rock I couldn't find a lobster pieces within the dish so sad I actually wanted the shrimp tacos but they don't have those anymore or maybe they don't have them for dinner or maybe they only do them for lunch but I was disappointed so sad I have to think twice now before I go back to Red lobster
The food is overly priced. My shrimp and lobster linguine was dry and tasteless. I had to ask for more sauce. The shrimp tasted rubbery, like the cheap shrimp, not the good meaty shrimp. The rest of the food was not up to par with the prices they have now. You get biscuits, but you don't even have a choice of soup or salad anymore. What a rip off!! I won't step into this Red Lobster again. We've been going to this restaurant for 24 years, and it is at it's worst.

Today, I decided to go out to red lobster with my friends. I thought I’d have great experience, but boy was I wrong. Our server, janeen I believe, was just out of control. She started out as a normal server would at first, cordial and whatnot, but there must have been something in the air. As soon as she seated us, she went enthusiastically to other tables and offered them specials and whatnot. The treatment was not the same with us, and at this point it goes beyond disappointment. She could’ve at least pretended to show that she cared, but she didn’t even bother to bring out biscuits when we asked. We got nine biscuits total, despite them being free. When asked for more, we were just handed the check after we received just four at a table of five. Terrible experience, -10/10, would not recommend jameem as our server. Steer clear and happy eating.
Red Lobster has always been our go-to restaurant in every city we visit. However, the Red Lobster in Middletown left much to be desired with its exceptionally poor service. When we arrived, there was no hostess to greet us. I ventured inside and found a woman behind the bar filling her mug with water. Assuming she was the bartender, I asked her to locate the hostess. A few minutes later, she slowly approached us, picked up two menus, and seated us without any sense of urgency or acknowledgment of our wait. By this point, we had already been waiting for about five minutes. After being seated, it took quite a while for a waitress to take our drink order. The wait for our drinks and then our food order was equally lengthy. The service was exceedingly slow. On the positive note, once the food started flowing, the server was attentive and helpful.
Usually I have a wonderful time coming here, but today was a different vibe. I don’t know if Janine was just having a bad day, but this was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever felt. Ignoring us, giving us attitude, and generally just bring extremely rude to me and my peers. I don’t see us coming back here again, especially if she’s still there. Please be better Janine and I hope love finds you one day. We soon went to McDonald’s afterwards and had amazing customer service. She can learn a thing or two from them. Thank you ❤️
Been sitting at the bar for 15 minutes now and when I first got here the bar tender said they were putting my food in the bag, still not out here... 4 mins after I posted this the food finally came out. After telling me it was getting put into the bag 2 different occasions. Got home and the food was okay at best.
I had a terrible experience at the Middletown Red Lobster. Our server, Jannine, was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the visit. She falsely accused me of drinking an entire glass from my partner’s drink, even though I had only taken a sip. She insisted she “saw” it on my side of the table, which was completely untrue. I even showed her the glass I was using, which clearly wasn’t the same as my partner’s, but she continued to argue. Her attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming the entire time. She ignored us repeatedly and showed no interest in providing decent service. When I asked for a Red Lobster bib (something I had received at the Albany location, where the service was fantastic), she curtly said, “We don’t have it—it’s over,” without even attempting to check or offer alternatives. The experience was unsettling to the point that I worried she might tamper with my food after our interaction. The situation escalated when she walked away in the middle of me explaining my concerns, showing no respect or care for her customers. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had at Red Lobster, which is disappointing because I’ve always enjoyed the food and service at other locations. I strongly recommend better staff training to ensure this kind of behavior doesn’t happen to others.
Prices are ridiculous for the portions. Nobody eats seafood anymore let alone a surf and turf. Chain is nearing bankruptcy any day now. Will never be 40 years ago. Say goodbye......
Today my experience was not good, I do not know what happened, but everything was bad, 😢 the order of my daughter forgot to bring her, even though they only brought the mozzarella and forgot the potatoes, my old husband salmon and brought him chicken, The piña colada was whole ice, oh God, all wrong before had a better service now I cannot wish for the same thing. very bad experience today
