I asked for something they wasn't able to make at that time, but it was only one thing on the whole platter I really wanted, and my server figured out how to make my dream come true. I got two teriyaki grilled chicken breast with rice. The food was amazing it was so good. I will be back to try more things as soon as my lip heals up better. If she sees this message she is a great server, and im so thankful she was mine. I can't wait to bring my ky friends up to eat their. My poor aid baby will be forced to sit in my car when the weather breaks but we will be stopping in to get her a treat as well. Shes my girl that loves good food like her mommy she'll savor her bites. I must add the photo is of what I had left to take home. I got two chicken breast with tomato, lettuce, a pickle spear, rice and coleslaw. Well worth it.
Ordered the Patty melt was very well cooked, plenty of cheese the onions were just right , nice side portion of fries all in all a good meal
Great diner! The food came out fast and was delicious. My server Karen was very sweet and delightful! I would definitely go back there.
Juan was an awesome server. Attentive, knowing what we needed, he there when we needed him. No rush & great attitude. — also happy there’s gluten free pancakes!
This place is a hidden gem, at least for, Brooklynites. We’ve been here twice, six months apart and it has been very consistent. Staff was very kind courteous and cordial. Kitchen was quick to serve food which was also piping hot. Food was delicious fries are extra crispy. I like how they give you extra sauce in abundance. Desserts are delectable. Comfort food all around. Juan was our server. He was the coolest. Attentive. Very considerate with our children. This diner is only 8 minutes away from Legoland. Much better alternative than paying theme park pricing for food. Will be back here every time we go back to the park. Perfect.
Over The past years I have watched the quality of diners diminished. This wonderful place brings me back to childhood when service and food quality were so much more important. As a simple eggs Benedict meal and a side of sausage made me feel so at home. The lovely waitress was experienced polite and proper in every way. She had an extremely high level of hospitality, confidence, and knowledge. This was one of the best experiences I have had I. Over 20 years. I wish I could give more stars. To whom is running this dinner, You should be proud of yourself and staff. This is a success and something every diner manager should inspire to have. Once again a wonderful experience.
Seven of us popped in around 1:30 on a snowy Saturday and were quite impressed. They’ve got a massive menu and plenty of space, so no trouble getting a table. The atmosphere is great—proper old-school diner vibes with a bit of an ’80s feel to the décor. The place is clean, the tables are solid, and one thing I really liked was the seats—they’ve got wheels on them! I don’t recall ever sitting on wheeled seats in a diner before, but honestly, everywhere should have them. Makes moving around so much easier. They’ve also got a nice kids’ menu, which makes things easier on the littl’uns—a handy touch if you’re coming with family. Our server, Elena, was spot on—proper professional and polite. All our food arrived together, which is always a bonus, and we only waited about 20 minutes, which is decent for a group our size. I went for the boiled ham sandwich (not entirely sure why), but it was actually pretty decent. It was missing mayonnaise, but I made do with a bit of butter and some of the complimentary coleslaw. I also had a waffle and asked for a side of Nutella—they didn’t skimp on it, which was a nice touch! All in all, the bill came to £98 for the lot of us, and we all left full and happy. Much prefer this place to a bog-standard fast food joint. Worth a visit!
Service first......it was fantastic!!! The diner was packed and our waitress was on top of it! Drinks we're never empty, and dirty plates were immediately removed from the table. Second....the food was incredible! The portions were great and pricing was on point. It was amazing how quick our meals came out considering the amount of patrons in the diner. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area, or not even close but want a great meal with amazing service.
Great food and service...Really nice place especially for breakfast. I enjoyed the hash browns potatoes. Hope to visit again soon.
The mozzarella sticks are amazing! They take max 30 minutes to get prepared. The waiters are kind and professional. Absolutely coming back to this place.

Super cute diner. I got an egg sandwich on a hard roll. It was delicious. Great service.

The atmosphere was nice, and the decibel level was high. Alice was a good server and made sure the food was brought to the table hot. Offered extra coffee. If you're driving in the area or going upstate it's a good place to stop. Footnote two gas stations are outside of the restaurant parking.
The food is good. We get breakfast only. I really don't like the rest of the menu. They have all the classics a diner should have. The restaurant was clean and the staff nice.
I just had foot surgery and my husband and I both have colds so we decided to call call the Gochen Diner for a Turkey Dinner. It was delicious. Better than the first class Restaurant we went to 3 years ago. Great Dinner!
Good old fashioned, classic home style diner. Good food overall, huge menu (usually a sign of frozen foods and microwave prep) so I'd stick to the diner basics to ensure it's fresh. The brown gravy I use for dunking my fries at every diner was very bland which is what kind of held back their rating a bit for me anyway. But still a decent spot to stop for a bite.
Great service, delicious food, huge portions. Stopped at this local restaurant when I was out of town and was glad I did. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. They had so many menue options it was bit hard to choose. Portions were generous, the Greek dressing was authentic and delicious, and the rubben sandwich was good too. My kids enjoyed getting dessert with their kids meal too. Would definitely come back if I was local.
Now this is how diner food is supposed to be served. I don't know if anyone has read pass reviews about the diners I've experienced but this place right here serves it up nice and hot. Walked in sat in the vestibule area waited to be cold. They had two blackboards on the outside of the main doors into the diner which all patrons had a chance to read over in case they wanted the blackboard special. This made for a great way to deter your stomach from reminding you that you are hungry. So once we were called to be seated by the hostess we had already viewed the menu and knew what we wanted. I was pleasantly pleased to know that my meal was not as expensive as I thought it would be and I received so much food that I had to take some home with me. My girlfriend thought the buffalo chicken wrap was the most absolutely greatest of greatest of greatest buffalo chicken wrap she had ever experienced. I don't know about all that but if she says so, lol I never tried it. I can only judge from what I've actually experienced. I enjoyed the Belgian waffle. It was prepared near perfection it was a little light on the color. I could have dealt with it being a little darker but still nonetheless it was fluffy all the dough inside was cooked and the heat of the Belgian waffle melted the butter until the little pad was no more lol. Perfectly done the eggs, bacon and sausage. delicious. I did not experience any dirty dishes I did not experience any cold food. On our way out we paid the bill and of course that's where the cheesecakes were, right in the refrigerator at the cash register. Always something to tempt you to make you want to buy a slice. They look very good but I didn't buy anything. Nonetheless I'll leave the picture for your eye pleasure. I believe I will visit here again. I'm not on this side of town often but at least if I do come back I'll know where to sit and snack.
This is so far one of the best diners I’ve been too since I moved up here a few months ago. Decently priced and the food was great. Eggs and omelets fluffy, home fries were perfectly cooked. A lot of menu options unlike other places that want to charge more for add-ons. The staff were smiling and attentive. This is my go to place..
Food is great . I've had a lot. I like especially their chicken Caesar salad and the alpine hamburger. Lemon cake lemon meringue pie chocolate mousse cake. Altho their Rueben gave me French dressing …

Ugh. Soggy Buffalo wings, cold fries, barely any chips for the nacho supreme, little bugs flying around. Service was ok. Ambiance felt cramped. Drive to the next time over, in any direction.

We stopped in for breakfast. It was very good. Benedict’s, pancakes, and French toast were all yummy! Our servers were great! We’d easily return!
Nice spot to visit after a long and unpleasant day at Legoland. Food is good, large portions, fair prices, quick service.
Constantly crowded . Take that as a good sign if the locals go there too. Great service , large menu, reasonable prices . Was a saving grace for my family if six ..as the restaurant in the Legoland…
Seems like its the busiest place around so I pulled in for a late dinner. I ordered the open face turkey sandwich with a cup of cream of broccoli soup. The amount of turkey was intense and seemed wrong. Seems wasteful. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the best part. Missing cranberry sauce to make this what it should be. The sandwich was served with frozen mixed vegetables unfortunately. The cream of broccoli soup had almost no taste and after 3 spoonfuls I decided to save my calories. The meal was $18 and if sized down could be more affordable and a good size meal. The young man who waited on me and the waitresses elsewhere in the restaurant seemed good and attentive.
The diner is OK. Service depends on what server you get. The food is alright. We've found the burgers and sandwiches to be a little bit better than the rest of their menu. We've gone there for years about once or twice a month after doctor visits so we've tried a lot of items off their menu. Breakfast food is also a safe bet if you stick to basics. My only real gripe is handicap access. There's only a couple of handicap parking spaces and it's a huge lot. The handicap entrance is not clearly marked and it's way off to the side of the building. It's also a very long ramp with a climb. To go through the front door you need to climb 3 wide steps, go inside and do 2 more steps. Those who struggle with mobility know this is challenging.
It is a diner, but we hadn't been in a while. Honestly, we went late (9pm) so wasn't crowded, but our server was not great. Ordered the soups and 1/2 sandwich meal, which she brought out separately - normally that comes together. Sandwich was toasted, which I did not ask for, and my date didn't even finish his sandwich because it was so disappointing. Plus, she never came back to check on us and we waited a good 15-20 minutes even to place our order in the first place...again it was not busy! This diner has been a classic for years in the area, but it's changed too much. Not worth the trip this time.
High three, low four stars. Closest restaurant to Legoland, and easy on and off US 6/Route 17/Route 17M. Decent prices, good food, kid's pancake was huge! Turn off was dirty floor in men's bathroom.

Very large portions and super attentive staff made this a great place to stop on our road trip. The home fries were delicious and we appreciated the sides and fixings that came with our meal
ordered two wraps, one of the wraps tasted funky. the fries were fine at least. The calamari is alright. The water tasted like very chemically like chlorine. would suggest spending ur money somewhere else
I travel from SFO to NYC to visit my sister to surprise her, and take her out to lunch. We decided to go to Goshen Plaza Dinner. OH My God this is the worse’s turkey dinner I ever had . The turkey was so dry and had no taste, the stuffing I can’t even describe it, everything was so cold; I was so disappointed. However, the service was great, but never again sorry. But one thing tasted great the bread butter
This used to be one of our favorite diners… ket words used to be. We haven’t been here in a while ( maybe about a year) so we thought we would give it a try again. French onion soup is still good, I will say that. Ordered a turkey club, was not good. Fries were lukewarm at best. * I will not send food back as I do not trust what may happen to it * Yes, I could have told waitress I don't like it, but I feel they would say- well you chose it. My husband got a beverage and was never asked if he wanted a refill but they are quick ti charge almost $4 for a fountain beverage. We both used the restroom and both came to the conclusion that neither the mens room nor the womens room was well kept. In fact it was dirty, clogged toilets. Bugs, dirt, and rust. We both regretted eating here afterwards as we wondered if thats what they keep the restrooms like - what does the kitchen look like? 🤢. I did not take pics as I didn’t have my phone in the restroom with me, but wish i had of! This was our last time at this establishment!
I will never, ever go back. I have been eating there for years. Tonight they charged me for mayonnaise on a sandwich & whipped cream on a microscopic piece of cake. Shame on them 95 cents for whipp…
It use to be a decent option for breakfast. But you can't even get breakfast here anymore. The food is just terrible. There are plenty of better options, I don't know why anyone would eat here.

Food was inedible i mean so bad we left our full plates eggs were raw and didn't feel safe eating them hash was cold not nearly done enough, ordered pastrami sandwich and bread was not toasted and falling apart before I even picked it up. Couldn't take a sip out of our drinks because they tasted so strongly of chlorine. Skip it
I don’t write reviews often but this just happened and it’s gross. Ordered a cheeseburger well done. Two tables over ordered medium rare. They brought my burger to the wrong table and the lady cut it open seeing it was well done. The waitress took the cut burger back and came over to apologize saying they are going to make me a new burger. 2 minutes later they brought out the same burger the lady had cut on a different plate (I didn’t know at the time). I thought it was odd they would have a new burger so quickly. I took a bite revealing the cut mark that the lady had made 2 tables over. Disgusting.
I ordered a gluten free pancake explaining that I am very allergic to gluten and they served it with a syrup that contained gluten and I had a terrible allergic reaction. The restaurant as a whole is very dirty, and there were filthy towels stuffed up in the vents right over our table.. If you have celiac -stay away!!
