My family and I had such a wonderful experience here. The food was halal and delicious (everything except the hotdogs was halal). Our order came out promptly and was brought to our table by our friendly server. It was also an absolute pleasure meeting the manager, Veronica. She was such a sweet kind-hearted soul. She was a very generous person and took every opportunity to compliment my kids and even treated us to milkshakes. My kids were so thankful for her generosity. Please do visit this place, if not for the food, go for the milkshakes, they were the bomb. And if you're not going for the food or the milkshakes, you have to meet the beautiful soul named Veronica.

Just happened to be looking for some food for dinner and saw this WayBack burger joint! I am a burger lover so I stopped in! Greeted with kindness, asked if I wanted a sample of the drink I ordered, Strawberry Hibiscus to be exact and it was delicious and cold! The burger was made fresh, Cajun taster tots a must! I will definitely come back here for some food!!

Seriously the best burgers I know of. Super greesy but the presentation and taste overrides any negatives. Their milkshakes are delicious too! Everyone I've met are super chill, no bad vibes.

Nice juicy burgers, the way they're supposed to be. Also, the steak n cheese was perfect. The bread can kill a sandwich, not this place. Definitely repeat. Onion rings were also good.

Price may seem higher than average, but it is spot on. Burger was moist and clean tasting, bun was soft and moist, vegetables taste close to fresh. This place knows potatoes. The chili cheese fries I had were great, but the home made potato chips were fantastic. Mondo Pizza takes the title for pizza joints on Main Street, but Wayback Burgers take title for burgers. It's here to stay. Definitely have to try the potato chips at least once. The service was well above average, but this place just opened, so time will tell. I did like the smiles and patience. Also want to add that the crew kept communication going, and seemed at ease with it. Very rare in places like this. Big plus.

#halal This is a very nice burger joint. The food is fresh, tasty, and well priced! I had the classic burger, bourbon bacon burger, onion rings, and spicy cheese curds. The spicy cheese curds are a must try! The rest of the food was good, but could be better with minor improvements. The dining area is medium sized and fast casual with both indoor and outdoor.

Heard of Wayback, passed by wayback. So I decided to treat myself and tried Wayback. The place was different like the decor and the music was welcoming. The menu was straight forward. The down side, I found out that it’s like five guys. Buy the burger which a bit pricey. But there is an side/drink package for a bit extra. The guy behind the counter was polite. But I feel he could of been more welcoming. Besides that it’s pretty straightforward. I ate in. And was expecting to get called to get my food like some of the places like such. But no they took my food to where I sat and served it. After I ate one of the employees came by and picked up the metal tray and wished me well. I recommend this place to anyone that ask.

Place was dirty behind the counter and if I were to use the restroom first, I would not have stayed to eat. Very friendly staff and attentive was not just the smell of hamburgers and fried food the filled the restaurant.

The burgers at Wayback Burgers in Middletown proved to be underwhelming, lacking the distinction one might hope for when paying a premium. Despite the staff’s kindness, the overall atmosphere suffered from a frustrating “hurry up and wait” dynamic, exacerbated by the evident understaffing. Service delays detracted from the experience, and the noticeably high prices did not match the level of service provided. Cleanliness also left much to be desired, with tables not being properly cleaned between guests, which further impacted the dining environment. Overall, while the staff remained friendly, the combination of mediocre food, slow service, and an uncomfortable setting made for a disappointing visit.

Made a pit stop here. Their were lots of to go orders so we were hopeful. The service was friendly. Bathroom was surprisingly not bad. The biggest con here was the guys cooking had on plastic gloves. But no use because they touched everything with them on. Not the cleanest, also not worth the price. Just an ok burger. One of our three milk shakes tasted like a cup of pure milk. No ice cream or flavor.

This rating is because we waited for over a half hour for a milkshake and burger. And the burger was missing all toppings but the cheese. We went back and the friendly staff fixed it. The food was good but a time commitment.
