Very nice atmosphere; Doesn’t look busy from outside, got surprised when we walked inside. It’s like I arrived somewhere in Brooklyn Pizza Restaurant. Host and waitress was very hospitable. Food came on time and order was accurate.

This place is AWESOME! Great food at an affordable price. They're not stingy on food and it's so fresh! Service is excellent. You can't go wrong with any of their salads. Acoustics can be loud if you go on a busy night, but it's worth it. They have vegan cheese available too if you're a vegan. Parking is free in back (Landmark Square). It's always busy, but particularly Fridays and Saturday nights, expect a wait.

We come here at least once a week for lunch at work. All of the food here is excellent and consistent. The paninis are amazing, the pizza is the best in the area and the salads are perfect. The service is always awesome too. I really can’t say enough good things about Mondo.

When I saw that they had vegan cheese as an option, I knew we had to go here. The pizza was absolutely amazing and so was the vegan cheese. This is an absolute must have especially if you love thin crispy crust. The hubby absolutely loved his buffalo wings. If we lived in Connecticut, we would absolutely come here again. And our server was outstanding.

Stopped by for lunch to give their pizza a try. They serve thin-crust brick oven-style pizza. I ordered a large white vegetarian pizza and an Allagash white beer. The pizza was delicious, and the cold beer was refreshing. The atmosphere and service were also great.

I liked the cheese pizza, I ordered a small cheese, I don't get slices if if I have to pay more and not finish the pizza because unfresh heated up slices are terrible and don't give the pizza the credit it deserves. The pizza was very tasty but Napolitano does not have the crisp I like. This pizza is worth a try though. Nothing special about the sauce but still very good. Not too greasy, not much to criticize except the crisp, but that's Napolitano. I'll go again, probably with friends, it's more a group place to go, everyone there seemed to be having a good time for lunch on a Monday.

This place was amazing! We started with the eggplant fries, which I've never had before. Perfectly crunchy outside and the marinara sauce was so fresh. The butternut squash ravioli almost made me weep when I tasted it, it was so good. Being a vegetarian, that's one of my go-tos and this might just be the best I've ever had. Salty, sweet, crunchy, creamy, and savory, all perfectly balanced. My hubby and our friend had the cheese and the Buffalo chicken thin-crust pizza and said it was delicious. Service was impeccable and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back next time we visit!

Mondo is such a great place with awesome food! The servers were extremely helpful and patient. The panini was delicious, with lots of fresh toppings. The eggplants fries were good as well, a bit thick but crunchy and warm. The pizza was great, giant slices with a nice sauce, crust, and flavors. Definitely worth it to check it out for the pizza alone! You won’t be disappointed.

Just stopped by Mondo and had an excellent lunch with friends after dress shopping down the road! The spiedini and eggplant fries made for a great appetizer, and our salad and paninis were delicious too. Just the right casual vibe we were looking for. Food came out quickly and our server was nice!

Great Vibe! Pizza and wings were amazing! Everything so flavorful they make a homemade Buffalo sauce that's great. Pizza was outstanding so many different ones to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming as busy as it was they were so quick and attentive. I had me my husband and 3 kids they were great with the kids. I recommend going!! You won't regret it.

Excellent food, service & selection. clean and welcoming staff. Chinese, American & wide hamburger selection. All very good.

This place is popular in Middletown and is good and consistent. Most things are delicious but I would take the soggy celery slivers out of the buffalo cauliflower dish. It's a very "interesting" take on buffalo cauliflower. The pizza and sandwiches are the way to go.

$19 gets you a large and tasty cheese pizza. That’s a great deal. The pepperoni was delicious too. Lunch time was slammed with to go orders. The arugula salad with apple cider vinegrette was perfect.

Well, folks, I’ve been to quite a few pizza joints across Connecticut and beyond, and let me tell you—Mondo lands smack dab in the middle of the pack. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad pizza. It’s good, even. But it’s the kind of good that doesn’t exactly stick in your memory. Eating there gave me flashbacks to the old Roman Delight spots that used to be up in malls—familiar, safe, and satisfying enough when you’re hungry, but not the kind of pie that makes you rethink your favorites list. The dough had some chew, the sauce leaned standard, and the toppings were fine, but nothing really hollered out “this is the one.” After working my way through so many places, you start to notice who’s swinging for the fences and who’s just bunting for base hits. Mondo plays it safe, and for a lot of folks, that’ll be just right. For me? I’ll say it’s middle of the road—solid enough if you’re in town, but not a destination if you’re chasing the best of the best.

Stopped in another place from my "Pizza Hit List" while traveling through the area. Very cool place and atmosphere which appeared to have quite a few locals enjoying happy hour. Took advantage of the happy hour and ordered the eggplant fries. They were nicely done and paired well with the marinara sauce. I then ordered a half Mozzarella and Basil, half Sausage and Mushroom. Crust was crisp with a bit of chew and the sauce was perfect. Would highly recommend if in the area.
