Delicious coffee and great food items for brunch! The coffee flavor I tried was white chocolate with hazelnut and Carmel. Only 2 shots and oatmilk. I got the bacon and egg bagel sandwich with jalapeno bagel
The employees are so sweet and personable!!! They work hard to make the perfect drink. Their food is really yummy, I’m picky about bagel sandwiches but I love theirs. They have a LOT more food and drink options than any other coffee shop in town.

Best baristas in town! The staff and owners are extremely polite, patient, hardworking, and caring. If you like coffee, these folks know what they’re doing. There are also some wonderful options for milk alternatives and syrup flavors. Have I mentioned the food? Because it is truly fantastic. As I’m writing this, they don’t have many lunch options, but I know they plan to expand the menu. What they do have is a lovely bakery case, and the most popular pastries are made by a skilled local baker (the kind that travels abroad to hone their craft; a true artisan)! Of course, those sell out quickly, so swing by early to check them out. There is an outdoor patio and indoor seating. If you have a dog, and they are polite and trained, the staff seem happy to welcome your fur baby inside. Since opening, some things are similar to the old cafe, like the baristas or some of the furniture. Don’t let that fool you, though–it’s a brand new business. Previously known as The Hand Cafe, it had the atmosphere of a “small business,” but it was not locally owned. After the change in ownership, it’s now a small, local business. The name and atmosphere makeover is an intentional effort to combine the passion of the owners’ with the interests of the community. If you like to support the community, I highly recommend this cafe! P.S.–That one negative review is odd, because they aren’t open on weekends. Sarah, are you sure you reviewed the right cafe? ***Update (9/25): In response to Sarah's update, she originally posted the review on a Saturday and referred to her experience being that same day. As far as giving a glowing review, it was indeed in response to her negativity. There are only 3 employees, and no one fits the description she gave, begging the question behind her intent on leaving such a poor review of her visit on a closed Saturday 🥰 Btw sorry if I sound like an infomercial, it's just how I talk. While waiting for our daughters next game in 🎾 we came down to Birdies Cafe to grab a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. My husband is a coffee snob but he got an Irish cream with white chocolate cheesecake latte and said that it is the best coffee that he has had in Midland. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing as well!!!! We will definitely make time to come back as often as possible! 11/10! Now back to our girl and tennis!
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich and shared our last meal with friends who were heading back home. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I also drank one of Birdie’s fall coffees, which was so good that I ordered another one, only cold. I have never done that. The people are nice, and the food tastes great. I will go back.

The absolute best coffee I've had in this town this far! We've been trying every coffee place recommend and this one is the only one that lives up to the hype! Plus they actually have food options, very delicious bagel sandwiches! The owners, baristas, and cooks, are very kind and can always recommend something new if you're into that.

The only coffee shop I can go to and KNOW my drink is going to be amazing every time. They stay busy but it’s always quick for drinks. Sometimes there’s a wait for food but they make their bagels/sandwiches as you order so I don’t mind. I will continue driving 20 minutes from work for their matcha and coffees
I’m really picky about coffee, and this is by far one of my favorite coffee shops! You can tell the staff is experienced. They are always really nice, and their food is fresh and delicious. It’s also super family friendly. I love coming here. Highly recommend!

Usually birdies is DELICIOUS! But today it fell flat bad! Found a cockroach dead on the floor, couch was dirty, someone came in and got behind the counter with every other word being a curse word being very loud about it then just leaving? It was disappointing. The food was not even that good today which made me sooo sad. During the week this place has been delicious but today not so much.
i had been there before and my drink was so good but second time around the i was attended by a girl who had the worst attitude and was being very passive aggressive towards me for no reason. she proceeded to make my drink wrong and make it taste really burnt…

The front girl is super rude !! Makes you feel like they don’t appreciate your presence and not want to go back. Which to me means they don’t want to serve you ?
